অতঃপর তোমরাই পরস্পর খুনাখুনি করছ এবং তোমাদেরই একদলকে তাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করছ। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে পাপ ও অন্যায়ের মাধ্যমে আক্রমণ করছ। আর যদি তারাই কারও বন্দী হয়ে তোমাদের কাছে আসে, তবে বিনিময় নিয়ে তাদের মুক্ত করছ। অথচ তাদের বহিস্কার করাও তোমাদের জন্য অবৈধ। তবে কি তোমরা গ্রন্থের কিয়দংশ বিশ্বাস কর এবং কিয়দংশ অবিশ্বাস কর? যারা এরূপ করে পার্থিব জীবনে দূগর্তি ছাড়া তাদের আর কোনই পথ নেই। কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের কঠোরতম শাস্তির দিকে পৌঁছে দেয়া হবে। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ-কর্ম সম্পর্কে বে-খবর নন।
After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do. |

আমি যাদেরকে গ্রন্থ দান করেছি, তারা তা যথাযথভাবে পাঠ করে। তারাই তৎপ্রতি বিশ্বাস করে। আর যারা তা অবিশ্বাস করে, তারাই হবে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত।
Those to whom We have sent the Book study it as it should be studied: They are the ones that believe therein: Those who reject faith therein,- the loss is their own. |

যখন ইব্রাহীম বললেন, পরওয়ারদেগার! এ স্থানকে তুমি শান্তিধান কর এবং এর অধিবাসীদের মধ্যে যারা অল্লাহ ও কিয়ামতে বিশ্বাস করে, তাদেরকে ফলের দ্বারা রিযিক দান কর। বললেনঃ যারা অবিশ্বাস করে, আমি তাদেরও কিছুদিন ফায়দা ভোগ করার সুযোগ দেব, অতঃপর তাদেরকে বলপ্রয়োগে দোযখের আযাবে ঠেলে দেবো; সেটা নিকৃষ্ট বাসস্থান।
And remember Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits,-such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith,-for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire,- an evil destination (indeed)!" |

আল্লাহ তা’আলা সুদকে নিশ্চিহ্ন করেন এবং দান খয়রাতকে বর্ধিত করেন। আল্লাহ পছন্দ করেন না কোন অবিশ্বাসী পাপীকে।
Allah will deprive usury of all blessing, but will give increase for deeds of charity: For He loveth not creatures ungrateful and wicked. |

আজ তোমাদের জন্য পবিত্র বস্তুসমূহ হালাল করা হল। আহলে কিতাবদের খাদ্য তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল এবং তোমাদের খাদ্য তাদের জন্য হালাল। তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল সতী-সাধ্বী মুসলমান নারী এবং তাদের সতী-সাধ্বী নারী, যাদেরকে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তোমাদের পূর্বে, যখন তোমরা তাদেরকে মোহরানা প্রদান কর তাদেরকে স্ত্রী করার জন্যে, কামবাসনা চরিতার্থ করার জন্যে কিংবা গুপ্ত প্রেমে লিপ্ত হওয়ার জন্যে নয়। যে ব্যক্তি বিশ্বাসের বিষয় অবিশ্বাস করে, তার শ্রম বিফলে যাবে এবং পরকালে সে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে।
This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good). |

যারা অবিশ্বাস করে এবং আমার নিদর্শনাবলীকে মিথ্যা বলে, তার দোযখী।
Those who reject faith and deny our signs will be companions of Hell-fire. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০) |

এরূপ কথা বার্তা তোমাদের পুর্বে এক সম্প্রদায় জিজ্ঞেস করেছিল। এর পর তারা এসব বিষয়ে অবিশ্বাসী হয়ে গেল।
Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০২) |

যদি আমি কাগজে লিখিত কোন বিষয় তাদের প্রতি নাযিল করতাম, অতঃপর তারা তা সহস্তে স্পর্শ করত, তবুও অবিশ্বাসীরা একথাই বলত যে, এটা প্রকাশ্য জাদু বৈ কিছু নয়।
If We had sent unto thee a written (message) on parchment, so that they could touch it with their hands, the Unbelievers would have been sure to say: "This is nothing but obvious magic!" |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |

তাদেরকেই আমি গ্রন্থ, শরীয়ত ও নবুয়ত দান করেছি। অতএব, যদি এরা আপনার নবুয়ত অস্বীকার করে, তবে এর জন্যে এমন সম্প্রদায় নির্দিষ্ট করেছি, যারা এতে অবিশ্বাসী হবে না।
These were the men to whom We gave the Book, and authority, and prophethood: if these (their descendants) reject them, Behold! We shall entrust their charge to a new people who reject them not. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯) |

যারা আল্লাহর পথে বাধা দিত এবং তাতে বক্রতা অন্বেষণ করত। তারা পরকালের বিষয়েও অবিশ্বাসী ছিল।
"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: they were those who denied the Hereafter." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |

তারা স্বীয় ধর্মকে তামাশা ও খেলা বানিয়ে নিয়েছিল এবং পার্থিব জীবন তাদের কে ধোকায় ফেলে রেখেছিল। অতএব, আমি আজকে তাদেরকে ভুলে যাব; যেমন তারা এ দিনের সাক্ষাৎকে ভুলে গিয়েছিল এবং যেমন তারা আয়াতসমূহকে অবিশ্বাস করত।
"Such as took their religion to be mere amusement and play, and were deceived by the life of the world." That day shall We forget them as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs, and as they were wont to reject Our signs. |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫১) |

তাদের অর্থ ব্যয় কবুল না হওয়ার এছাড়া আর কোন কারণ নেই যে, তারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি অবিশ্বাসী, তারা নামাযে আসে অলসতার সাথে ব্যয় করে সঙ্কুচিত মনে।
The only reasons why their contributions are not accepted are: that they reject Allah and His Messenger; that they come to prayer without earnestness; and that they offer contributions unwillingly. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |

তিনি বললেনঃ তোমাদেরকে প্রত্যহ যে খাদ্য দেয়া হয়, তা তোমাদের কাছে আসার আগেই আমি তার ব্যাখ্যা বলে দেব। এ জ্ঞান আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন। আমি ঐসব লোকের ধর্ম পরিত্যাগ করেছি যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে না এবং পরকালে অবিশ্বাসী।
He said: "Before any food comes (in due course) to feed either of you, I will surely reveal to you the truth and meaning of this ere it befall you: that is part of the (duty) which my Lord hath taught me. I have (I assure you) abandoned the ways of a people that believe not in Allah and that (even) deny the Hereafter. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৭) |

যদি আপনি বিস্ময়ের বিষয় চান, তবে তাদের একথা বিস্ময়কর যে, আমরা যখন মাটি হয়ে যাব, তখনও কি নতুন ভাবে সৃজিত হব? এরাই স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সত্তায় অবিশ্বাসী হয়ে গেছে, এদের গর্দানেই লৌহ-শৃংখল পড়বে এবং এরাই দোযখী এরা তাতে চিরকাল থাকবে।
If thou dost marvel (at their want of faith), strange is their saying: "When we are (actually) dust, shall we indeed then be in a creation renewed?" They are those who deny their Lord! They are those round whose necks will be yokes (of servitude): they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye)! |

আয়াতঃ ৫) |

যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সত্তার অবিশ্বাসী তাদের অবস্থা এই যে, তাদের কর্মসমূহ ছাইভস্মের মত যার উপর দিয়ে প্রবল বাতাস বয়ে যায় ধূলিঝড়ের দিন। তাদের উপার্জনের কোন অংশই তাদের করতলগত হবে না। এটাই দুরবর্তী পথভ্রষ্টতা।
The parable of those who reject their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they have earned: that is the straying far, far (from the goal). |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |

যার উপর জবরদস্তি করা হয় এবং তার অন্তর বিশ্বাসে অটল থাকে সে ব্যতীত যে কেউ বিশ্বাসী হওয়ার পর আল্লাহতে অবিশ্বাসী হয় এবং কুফরীর জন্য মন উম্মুক্ত করে দেয় তাদের উপর আপতিত হবে আল্লাহর গযব এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে শাস্তি।
Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১০৬) |
| 17 |
এটা এ জন্যে যে, তারা পার্থিব জীবনকে পরকালের চাইতে প্রিয় মনে করেছে এবং আল্লাহ অবিশ্বাসীদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
This because they love the life of this world better than the Hereafter: and Allah will not guide those who reject Faith. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১০৭) |

যখন আপনি কোরআন পাঠ করেন, তখন আমি আপনার মধ্যে ও পরকালে অবিশ্বাসীদের মধ্যে প্রচ্ছন্ন পর্দা ফেলে দেই।
When thou dost recite the Qur'an, We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter, a veil invisible: |

আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |

এরপর আমি একাদিক্রমে আমার রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি। যখনই কোন উম্মতের কাছে তাঁর রসূল আগমন করেছেন, তখনই তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে। অতঃপর আমি তাদের একের পর এক ধ্বংস করেছি এবং তাদেরকে কাহিনীর বিষয়ে পরিণত করেছি। সুতরাং ধ্বংস হোক অবিশ্বাসীরা।
Then sent We our messengers in succession: every time there came to a people their messenger, they accused him of falsehood: so We made them follow each other (in punishment): We made them as a tale (that is told): So away with a people that will not believe! |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |

এমনিভাবে আমি গোনাহগারদের অন্তরে অবিশ্বাস সঞ্চার করেছি।
Thus have We caused it to enter the hearts of the sinners. |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২০০) |
| 21 |
এই তো তাদের বাড়ীঘর-তাদের অবিশ্বাসের কারণে জনশূন্য অবস্থায় পড়ে আছে। নিশ্চয় এতে জ্ঞানী সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শন আছে।
Now such were their houses, - in utter ruin, - because they practised wrong-doing. Verily in this is a Sign for people of knowledge. |

আয়াতঃ ৫২) |

তারা কি তাদের মনে ভেবে দেখে না যে, আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু সৃষ্টি করেছেন যথাযথরূপে ও নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্য, কিন্তু অনেক মানুষ তাদের পালনকর্তার সাক্ষাতে অবিশ্বাসী।
Do they not reflect in their own minds? Not but for just ends and for a term appointed, did Allah create the heavens and the earth, and all between them: yet are there truly many among men who deny the meeting with their Lord (at the Resurrection)! |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৮) |
| 23 |
সে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলে, না হয় সে উম্মাদ এবং যারা পরকালে অবিশ্বাসী, তারা আযাবে ও ঘোর পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত আছে।
"Has he invented a falsehood against Allah, or has a spirit (seized) him?"- Nay, it is those who believe not in the Hereafter, that are in (real) Penalty, and in farthest error. |
(সাবা:

না তারা বলেঃ এই কোরআন সে নিজে রচনা করেছে? বরং তারা অবিশ্বাসী।
Or do they say, "He fabricated the (Message)"? Nay, they have no faith! |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

আমি অবিশ্বাসীদের জন্যে প্রস্তুত রেখেছি শিকল, বেড়ি ও প্রজ্বলিত অগ্নি।
For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire. |
(আদ-দাহর:

অতঃপর কেন তুমি অবিশ্বাস করছ কেয়ামতকে?
Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)? |
(ত্বীন:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
