হে মুমিণগন, এমন কথাবার্তা জিজ্ঞেস করো না, যা তোমাদের কাছে পরিব্যক্ত হলে তোমাদের খারাপ লাগবে। যদি কোরআন অবতরণকালে তোমরা এসব বিষয় জিজ্ঞেস কর, তবে তা তোমাদের জন্যে প্রকাশ করা হবে। অতীত বিষয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমা করেছেন আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, সহনশীল।
O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. But if ye ask about things when the Qur'an is being revealed, they will be made plain to you, Allah will forgive those: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing. |

যখন হাওয়ারীরা বললঃ হে মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসা, আপনার পালনকর্তা কি এরূপ করতে পারেন যে, আমাদের জন্যে আকাশ থেকে খাদ্যভর্তি খাঞ্চা অবতরণ করে দেবেন? তিনি বললেনঃ যদি তোমরা ঈমানদার হও, তবে আল্লাহকে ভয় কর।
Behold! the disciples, said: "O Jesus the son of Mary! can thy Lord send down to us a table set (with viands) from heaven?" Said Jesus: "Fear Allah, if ye have faith." |

ঈসা ইবনে মরিয়ম বললেনঃ হে আল্লাহ আমাদের পালনকর্তা আমাদের প্রতি আকাশ থেকে খাদ্যভর্তি খাঞ্চা অবতরণ করুন। তা আমাদের জন্যে অর্থাৎ, আমাদের প্রথম ও পরবর্তী সবার জন্যে আনন্দোৎসব হবে এবং আপনার পক্ষ থেকে একটি নিদর্শন হবে। আপনি আমাদের রুযী দিন। আপনিই শ্রেষ্ট রুযীদাতা।
Said Jesus the son of Mary: "O Allah our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set (with viands), that there may be for us - for the first and the last of us - a solemn festival and a sign from thee; and provide for our sustenance, for thou art the best Sustainer (of our needs)." |

আয়াতঃ ১১৪) |

আল্লাহ বললেনঃ নিশ্চয় আমি সে খাঞ্চা তোমাদের প্রতি অবতরণ করব। অতঃপর যে ব্যাক্তি এর পরেও অকৃতজ্ঞ হবে, আমি তাকে এমন শাস্তি দেব, যে শাস্তি বিশ্বজগতের অপর কাউকে দেব না।
Allah said: "I will send it down unto you: But if any of you after that resisteth faith, I will punish him with a penalty such as I have not inflicted on any one among all the peoples." |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১৫) |

তারা বলেঃ তার প্রতি তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে কোন নিদর্শন অবতীর্ণ হয়নি কেন? বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ নিদর্শন অবতরণ করতে পূর্ন সক্ষম; কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না।
They say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Allah hath certainly power to send down a sign: but most of them understand not. |

যখন তিনি আরোপ করেন তোমাদের উপর তন্দ্রাচ্ছন্ন তা নিজের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রশান্তির জন্য এবং তোমাদের উপর আকাশ থেকে পানি অবতরণ করেন, যাতে তোমাদিগকে পবিত্র করে দেন এবং যাতে তোমাদের থেকে অপসারিত করে দেন শয়তানের অপবিত্রতা। আর যাতে করে সুরক্ষিত করে দিতে পারেন তোমাদের অন্তরসমূহকে এবং তাতে যেন সুদৃঢ় করে দিতে পারেন তোমাদের পা গুলো।
Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith. |

অতঃপর অচিরেই জানতে পারবে-লাঞ্ছনাজনক আযাব কার উপর আসে এবং চিরস্থায়ী আযাব কার উপর অবতরণ করে।
"But soon will ye know who it is on whom will descend a penalty that will cover them with shame,- on whom will be unloosed a penalty lasting:" |

আয়াতঃ ৩৯) |

হুকুম হল-হে নূহ (আঃ)! আমার পক্ষ হতে নিরাপত্তা এবং আপনার নিজের ও সঙ্গীয় সম্প্রদায়গুলির উপর বরকত সহকারে অবতরণ করুণ। আর অন্যান্য যেসব সম্প্রদায় রয়েছে আমি তাদের কেও উপকৃত হতে দেব। অতঃপর তাদের উপর আমার দরুন আযাব আপতিত হবে।
The word came: "O Noah! Come down (from the Ark) with peace from Us, and blessing on thee and on some of the peoples (who will spring) from those with thee: but (there will be other) peoples to whom We shall grant their pleasures (for a time), but in the end will a grievous penalty reach them from Us." |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |

আমার কাছে প্রত্যেক বস্তুর ভান্ডার রয়েছে। আমি নির্দিষ্ট পরিমানেই তা অবতরণ করি।
And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. |
(হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ২১) |

(জিব্রাইল বললঃ) আমি আপনার পালনকর্তার আদেশ ব্যতীত অবতরণ করি না, যা আমাদের সামনে আছে, যা আমাদের পশ্চাতে আছে এবং যা এ দুই-এর মধ্যস্থলে আছে, সবই তাঁর এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা বিস্মৃত হওয়ার নন।
(The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- |
(মারইয়াম:

বিশ্বস্ত ফেরেশতা একে নিয়ে অবতরণ করেছে।
With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- |

আমি আপনাকে বলব কি কার নিকট শয়তানরা অবতরণ করে?
Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? |
(আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২২১) |
| 13 |
এ কিতাবের অবতরণ বিশ্বপালনকর্তার নিকট থেকে এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই।
(This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds. |

বলুন, আমার পালনকর্তা সত্য দ্বীন অবতরণ করেছেন। তিনি আলেমুল গায়ব।
Say: "Verily my Lord doth cast the (mantle of) Truth (over His servants),- He that has full knowledge of (all) that is hidden." |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |
| 15 |
তারপর আমি তার সম্প্রদায়ের উপর আকাশ থেকে কোন বাহিনী অবতীর্ণ করিনি এবং আমি (বাহিনী) অবতরণকারীও না।
And We sent not down against his People, after him, any hosts from heaven, nor was it needful for Us so to do. |
(ইয়াসীন:

ওহী নিয়ে অবতরণকারী ফেরেশতাগণের শপথ-
Then spread abroad a Message, |
