অনুসৃতরা যখন অনুসরণকারীদের প্রতি অসন্তুষ্ট হয়ে যাবে এবং যখন আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করবে আর বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে যাবে তাদের পারস্পরিক সমস্ত সম্পর্ক।
Then would those who are followed clear themselves of those who follow (them): They would see the penalty, and all relations between them would be cut off. |

যদি তারা তোমার সাথে বিতর্কে অবতীর্ণ হয় তবে বলে দাও, "আমি এবং আমার অনুসরণকারীগণ আল্লাহর প্রতি আত্নসমর্পণ করেছি।" আর আহলে কিতাবদের এবং নিরক্ষরদের বলে দাও যে, তোমরাও কি আত্নসমর্পণ করেছ? তখন যদি তারা আত্নসমর্পণ করে, তবে সরল পথ প্রাপ্ত হলো, আর যদি মুখ ঘুরিয়ে নেয়, তাহলে তোমার দায়িত্ব হলো শুধু পৌছে দেয়া। আর আল্লাহর দৃষ্টিতে রয়েছে সকল বান্দা।
So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants. |

তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে অনুসরণকারী রয়েছে তাদের অগ্রে এবং পশ্চাতে, আল্লাহর নির্দেশে তারা ওদের হেফাযত করে। আল্লাহ কোন জাতির অবস্থা পরিবর্তন করেন না, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা তাদের নিজেদের অবস্থা পরিবর্তন করে। আল্লাহ যখন কোন জাতির উপর বিপদ চান, তখন তা রদ হওয়ার নয় এবং তিনি ব্যতীত তাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of Allah. Allah does not change a people's lot unless they change what is in their hearts. But when (once) Allah willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect. |
