তারা ঐ শাস্ত্রের অনুসরণ করল, যা সুলায়মানের রাজত্ব কালে শয়তানরা আবৃত্তি করত। সুলায়মান কুফর করেনি; শয়তানরাই কুফর করেছিল। তারা মানুষকে জাদুবিদ্যা এবং বাবেল শহরে হারুত ও মারুত দুই ফেরেশতার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিল, তা শিক্ষা দিত। তারা উভয়ই একথা না বলে কাউকে শিক্ষা দিত না যে, আমরা পরীক্ষার জন্য; কাজেই তুমি কাফের হয়ো না। অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে এমন জাদু শিখত, যদ্দ্বারা স্বামী ও স্ত্রীর মধ্যে বিচ্ছেদ ঘটে। তারা আল্লাহর আদেশ ছাড়া তদ্দ্বারা কারও অনিষ্ট করতে পারত না। যা তাদের ক্ষতি করে এবং উপকার না করে, তারা তাই শিখে। তারা ভালরূপে জানে যে, যে কেউ জাদু অবলম্বন করে, তার জন্য পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই। যার বিনিময়ে তারা আত্নবিক্রয় করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ যদি তারা জানত।
They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew! |

মুমিনগন যেন অন্য মুমিনকে ছেড়ে কেন কাফেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ না করে। যারা এরূপ করবে আল্লাহর সাথে তাদের কেন সম্পর্ক থাকবে না। তবে যদি তোমরা তাদের পক্ষ থেকে কোন অনিষ্টের আশঙ্কা কর, তবে তাদের সাথে সাবধানতার সাথে থাকবে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাঁর সম্পর্কে তোমাদের সতর্ক করেছেন। এবং সবাই কে তাঁর কাছে ফিরে যেতে হবে।
Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah. |

অতঃপর ফিরে এল মুসলমানরা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ নিয়ে, তদের কিছুই অনিষ্ট হলো না। তারপর তারা আল্লাহর ইচ্ছার অনুগত হল। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ অতি বিরাট।
And they returned with Grace and bounty from Allah: no harm ever touched them: For they followed the good pleasure of Allah: And Allah is the Lord of bounties unbounded. |
(আল ইমরান:

আর যারা কুফরের দিকে ধাবিত হচ্ছে তারা যেন তোমাদিগকে চিন্তাম্বিত করে না তোলে। তারা আল্লাহ তা’আলার কোন কিছুই অনিষ্ট সাধন করতে পারবে না। আখেরাতে তাদেরকে কোন কল্যাণ দান না করাই আল্লাহর ইচ্ছা। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মহা শাস্তি।
Let not those grieve thee who rush headlong into Unbelief: Not the least harm will they do to Allah: Allah's plan is that He will give them no portion in the Hereafter, but a severe punishment. |

বস্তুতঃ আমি একমাত্র এই উদ্দেশ্যেই রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি, যাতে আল্লাহর নির্দেশানুযায়ী তাঁদের আদেশ-নিষেধ মান্য করা হয়। আর সেসব লোক যখন নিজেদের অনিষ্ট সাধন করেছিল, তখন যদি আপনার কাছে আসত অতঃপর আল্লাহর নিকট ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করত এবং রসূলও যদি তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করিয়ে দিতেন। অবশ্যই তারা আল্লাহকে ক্ষমাকারী, মেহেরবানরূপে পেত।
We sent not a messenger, but to be obeyed, in accordance with the will of Allah. If they had only, when they were unjust to themselves, come unto thee and asked Allah's forgiveness, and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah indeed Oft-returning, Most Merciful. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪) |

যারা নিজের অনিষ্ট করে, ফেরেশতারা তাদের প্রাণ হরণ করে বলে, তোমরা কি অবস্থায় ছিলে? তারা বলেঃ এ ভূখন্ডে আমরা অসহায় ছিলাম। ফেরেশতারা বলেঃ আল্লাহর পৃথিবী কি প্রশস্ত ছিল না যে, তোমরা দেশত্যাগ করে সেখানে চলে যেতে? অতএব, এদের বাসস্থান হল জাহান্নাম এবং তা অত্যন্ত মন্দ স্থান।
When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls, they say: "In what (plight) Were ye?" They reply: "Weak and oppressed Were we in the earth." They say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (From evil)?" Such men will find their abode in Hell,- What an evil refuge! - |

আয়াতঃ ৯৭) |
| 7 |
যে গোনাহ, করে কিংবা নিজের অনিষ্ট করে, অতঃপর আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে, সে আল্লাহকে ক্ষমাশীল, করুণাময় পায়।
If any one does evil or wrongs his own soul but afterwards seeks Allah's forgiveness, he will find Allah Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১০) |

যদি আপনার প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও করুণা না হত, তবে তাদের একদল আপনাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করার সংকল্প করেই ফেলেছিল। তারা পথভ্রান্ত করতে পারে না কিন্তু নিজেদেরকেই এবং আপনার কোন অনিষ্ট করতে পারে না। আল্লাহ আপনার প্রতি ঐশী গ্রন্থ ও প্রজ্ঞা অবতীর্ণ করেছেন এবং আপনাকে এমন বিষয় শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন, যা আপনি জানতেন না। আপনার প্রতি আল্লাহর করুণা অসীম।
But for the Grace of Allah to thee and his Mercy, a party of them would certainly have plotted to lead thee astray. But (in fact) they will only Lead their own souls astray, and to thee they can do no harm in the least. For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom and taught thee what thou Knewest not (before): And great is the Grace of Allah unto thee. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩) |

তারা ধারণা করেছে যে, কোন অনিষ্ট হবে না। ফলে তারা আরও অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে গেল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদের তওবা কবুল করলেন। এরপরও তাদের অধিকাংশই অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে রইল। আল্লাহ দেখেন তারা যা কিছু করে।
They thought there would be no trial (or punishment); so they became blind and deaf; yet Allah (in mercy) turned to them; yet again many of them became blind and deaf. But Allah sees well all that they do. |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭১) |

যদি তোমাদের সাথে তারা বের হত, তবে তোমাদের অনিষ্ট ছাড়া আর কিছু বৃদ্ধি করতো না, আর অশ্ব ছুটাতো তোমাদের মধ্যে বিভেদ সৃষ্টির উদ্দেশে। আর তোমাদের মাঝে রয়েছে তাদের গুপ্তচর। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ যালিমদের ভালভাবেই জানেন।
If they had come out with you, they would not have added to your (strength) but only (made for) disorder, hurrying to and fro in your midst and sowing sedition among you, and there would have been some among you who would have listened to them. But Allah knoweth well those who do wrong. |
(আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |
| 11 |
তাকে ছাড়া, তোমরা সবাই মিলে আমার অনিষ্ট করার প্রয়াস চালাও, অতঃপর আমাকে কোন অবকাশ দিও না।
"Other gods as partners! so scheme (your worst) against me, all of you, and give me no respite. |
(হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫) |

আমি মানুষকে নেয়ামত দান করলে সে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় এবং অহংকারে দুরে সরে যায়; যখন তাকে কোন অনিষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে একেবারে হতাশ হয়ে পড়ে।
Yet when We bestow Our favours on man, he turns away and becomes remote on his side (instead of coming to Us), and when evil seizes him he gives himself up to despair! |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩) |
| 13 |
যদি আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করেন, আসমান ও যমীন কে সৃষ্টি করেছে? তারা অবশ্যই বলবে-আল্লাহ। বলুন, তোমরা ভেবে দেখেছ কি, যদি আল্লাহ আমার অনিষ্ট করার ইচ্ছা করেন, তবে তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরকে ডাক, তারা কি সে অনিষ্ট দূর করতে পারবে? অথবা তিনি আমার প্রতি রহমত করার ইচ্ছা করলে তারা কি সে রহমত রোধ করতে পারবে? বলুন, আমার পক্ষে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট। নির্ভরকারীরা তাঁরই উপর নির্ভর করে।
If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "Allah". Say: "See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?" Say: "Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust." |

আয়াতঃ ৩৮) |
| 14 |
আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য ধর্মসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের কল্যাণকল্পে। অতঃপর যে সৎপথে আসে, সে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্যেই আসে, আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্টের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়। আপনি তাদের জন্যে দায়ী নন।
Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs. |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৪১) |
| 15 |
আর যারা শিরক থেকে বেঁচে থাকত, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে সাফল্যের সাথে মুক্তি দেবেন, তাদেরকে অনিষ্ট স্পর্শ করবে না এবং তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
But Allah will deliver the righteous to their place of salvation: no evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. |
(আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৬১) |
| 16 |
অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে তাদের চক্রান্তের অনিষ্ট থেকে রক্ষা করলেন এবং ফেরাউন গোত্রকে শোচনীয় আযাব গ্রাস করল।
Then Allah saved him from (every) ill that they plotted (against him), but the burnt of the Penalty encompassed on all sides the People of Pharaoh. |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫) |
| 17 |
আমি যখন মানুষের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করি তখন সে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয় এবং পার্শ্ব পরিবর্তন করে। আর যখন তাকে অনিষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সুদীর্ঘ দোয়া করতে থাকে।
When We bestow favours on man, he turns away, and gets himself remote on his side (instead of coming to Us); and when evil seizes him, (he comes) full of prolonged prayer! |
(হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫১) |
| 18 |
যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে আপনাকে আমি তাদের রক্ষক করে পাঠাইনি। আপনার কর্তব্য কেবল প্রচার করা। আমি তাদের রক্ষক করে পাঠাইনি। আপনার কর্তব্য কেবল প্রচার করা। আমি যখন মানুষকে আমার রহমত আস্বাদন করাই, তখন সে উল্লসিত, আর যখন তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে তাদের কোন অনিষ্ট ঘটে, তখন মানুষ খুব অকৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে যায়।
If then they run away, We have not sent thee as a guard over them. Thy duty is but to convey (the Message). And truly, when We give man a taste of a Mercy from Ourselves, he doth exult thereat, but when some ill happens to him, on account of the deeds which his hands have sent forth, truly then is man ungrateful! |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |
| 19 |
হে নবী, তোমরা যখন স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিতে চাও, তখন তাদেরকে তালাক দিয়ো ইদ্দতের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রেখে এবং ইদ্দত গণনা করো। তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো। তাদেরকে তাদের গৃহ থেকে বহিস্কার করো না এবং তারাও যেন বের না হয় যদি না তারা কোন সুস্পষ্ট নির্লজ্জ কাজে লিপ্ত হয়। এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমা। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সীমালংঘন করে, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্ট করে। সে জানে না, হয়তো আল্লাহ এই তালাকের পর কোন নতুন উপায় করে দেবেন।
O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation. |
(আত্ব-ত্বালাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১) |
| 20 |
যখন তাকে অনিষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে হা-হুতাশ করে।
Fretful when evil touches him; |
(আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ২০) |
| 21 |
তারা মান্নত পূর্ণ করে এবং সেদিনকে ভয় করে, যেদিনের অনিষ্ট হবে সুদূরপ্রসারী।
They perform (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil flies far and wide. |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ৭) |
| 22 |
অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে সেদিনের অনিষ্ট থেকে রক্ষা করবেন এবং তাদেরকে দিবেন সজীবতা ও আনন্দ।
But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy. |
(আদ-দাহর:
আয়াতঃ ১১) |
| 23 |
তিনি যা সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তার অনিষ্ট থেকে,
From the mischief of created things; |
(আল ফালাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 24 |
অন্ধকার রাত্রির অনিষ্ট থেকে, যখন তা সমাগত হয়,
From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads; |
(আল ফালাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৩) |
| 25 |
গ্রন্থিতে ফুঁৎকার দিয়ে জাদুকারিনীদের অনিষ্ট থেকে
From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; |
(আল ফালাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |
| 26 |
এবং হিংসুকের অনিষ্ট থেকে যখন সে হিংসা করে।
And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy. |
(আল ফালাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |
| 27 |
তার অনিষ্ট থেকে, যে কুমন্ত্রণা দেয় ও আত্নগোপন করে,
From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),- |
