সুস্পষ্ট মু’জেযাসহ মূসা তোমাদের কাছে এসেছেন। এরপর তার অনুপস্থিতিতে তোমরা গোবৎস বানিয়েছ। বাস্তবিকই তোমরা অত্যাচারী।
There came to you Moses with clear (Signs); yet ye worshipped the calf (Even) after that, and ye did behave wrongfully. |

যখন ইব্রাহীমকে তাঁর পালনকর্তা কয়েকটি বিষয়ে পরীক্ষা করলেন, অতঃপর তিনি তা পূর্ণ করে দিলেন, তখন পালনকর্তা বললেন, আমি তোমাকে মানবজাতির নেতা করব। তিনি বললেন, আমার বংশধর থেকেও! তিনি বললেন আমার অঙ্গীকার অত্যাচারীদের পর্যন্ত পৌঁছাবে না।
And remember that Abraham was tried by his Lord with certain commands, which he fulfilled: He said: "I will make thee an Imam to the Nations." He pleaded: "And also (Imams) from my offspring!" He answered: "But My Promise is not within the reach of evil-doers." |

তার চাইতে অত্যাচারী কে, যে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে তার কাছে প্রমাণিত সাক্ষ্যকে গোপন করে? আল্লাহ তোমাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে বেখবর নন। সে সম্প্রদায় অতীত হয়ে গেছে। তারা যা করেছে, তা তাদের জন্যে এবং তোমরা যা করছ, তা তোমাদের জন্যে। তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে তোমাদের জিজ্ঞেস করা হবে না।
That was a people that hath passed away. They shall reap the fruit of what they did, and ye of what ye do! Of their merits there is no question in your case: |

পক্ষান্তরে যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে। তাদের প্রাপ্য পরিপুর্ণভাবে দেয়া হবে। আর আল্লাহ অত্যাচারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন না।
"As to those who believe and work righteousness, Allah will pay them (in full) their reward; but Allah loveth not those who do wrong." |
(আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭) |

তোমরা যদি আহত হয়ে থাক, তবে তারাও তো তেমনি আহত হয়েছে। আর এ দিনগুলোকে আমি মানুষের মধ্যে পালাক্রমে আবর্তন ঘটিয়ে থাকি। এভাবে আল্লাহ জানতে চান কারা ঈমানদার আর তিনি তোমাদের কিছু লোককে শহীদ হিসাবে গ্রহণ করতে চান। আর আল্লাহ অত্যাচারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন না।
If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong. |

আর তোমাদের কি হল যে, তেমারা আল্লাহর রাহে লড়াই করছ না দুর্বল সেই পুরুষ, নারী ও শিশুদের পক্ষে, যারা বলে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদিগকে এই জনপদ থেকে নিষ্কৃতি দান কর; এখানকার অধিবাসীরা যে, অত্যাচারী! আর তোমার পক্ষ থেকে আমাদের জন্য পক্ষালম্বনকারী নির্ধারণ করে দাও এবং তোমার পক্ষ থেকে আমাদের জন্য সাহায্যকারী নির্ধারণ করে দাও।
And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from Thee one who will protect; and raise for us from Thee one who will help!" |

আমি চাই যে, আমার পাপ ও তোমার পাপ তুমি নিজের মাথায় চাপিয়ে নাও। অতঃপর তুমি দোযখীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত হয়ে যাও। এটাই অত্যাচারীদের শাস্তি।
"For me, I intend to let thee draw on thyself my sin as well as thine, for thou wilt be among the companions of the fire, and that is the reward of those who do wrong." |
(আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯) |

তারা কাফের, যারা বলে যে, মরিময়-তনয় মসীহ-ই আল্লাহ; অথচ মসীহ বলেন, হে বণী-ইসরাঈল, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর, যিনি আমার পালন কর্তা এবং তোমাদেরও পালনকর্তা। নিশ্চয় যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদার স্থির করে, আল্লাহ তার জন্যে জান্নাত হারাম করে দেন। এবং তার বাসস্থান হয় জাহান্নাম। অত্যাচারীদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. |

অতঃপর যদি জানা যায় যে, উভয় ওসি কোন গোনাহে জড়িত রয়েছে, তবে যাদের বিরুদ্ধে গোনাহ হয়েছিল, তাদের মধ্য থেকে মৃতু ব্যক্তির নিকটতম দু’ব্যক্তি তাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত হবে। অতঃপর আল্লাহর নামে কসম খাবে যে, অবশ্যই আমাদের সাক্ষ্য তাদের সাক্ষ্যর চাইতে অধিক সত্য এবং আমরা সীমা অতিক্রম করিনি। এমতাবস্থায় আমরা অবশ্যই অত্যাচারী হব।
But if it gets known that these two were guilty of the sin (of perjury), let two others stand forth in their places,- nearest in kin from among those who claim a lawful right: let them swear by Allah: "We affirm that our witness is truer than that of those two, and that we have not trespassed (beyond the truth): if we did, behold! the wrong be upon us!" |

সৃষ্টি করেছেন উটের মধ্যে দুই প্রকার এবং গরুর মধ্যে দুই প্রকার। আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুনঃ তিনি কি উভয় নর হারাম করেছেন, না উভয় মাদীকে, না যা উভয় মাদীর পেটে আছে? তোমরা কি উপস্থিত ছিলে, যখন আল্লাহ এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলেন? অতএব সে ব্যক্তি অপেক্ষা বেশী অত্যচারী কে, যে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা ধারণা পোষন করে যাতে করে মানুষকে বিনা প্রমাণে পথভ্রষ্ট করতে পারে? নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অত্যাচারী সম্প্রদায়কে পথপ্রদর্শন করেন না।
Of camels a pair, and oxen a pair; say, hath He forbidden the two males, or the two females, or (the young) which the wombs of the two females enclose? - Were ye present when Allah ordered you such a thing? But who doth more wrong than one who invents a lie against Allah, to lead astray men without knowledge? For Allah guideth not people who do wrong. |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৪) |

অনন্তর যখন তাদের কাছে আমার আযাব উপস্থিত হয়, তখন তাদের কথা এই ছিল যে, তারা বললঃ নিশ্চয় আমরা অত্যাচারী ছিলাম।
When (thus) Our punishment took them, no cry did they utter but this: "Indeed we did wrong." |
(আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৫) |

অতঃপর আমি কিতাবের অধিকারী করেছি তাদেরকে যাদেরকে আমি আমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে মনোনীত করেছি। তাদের কেউ কেউ নিজের প্রতি অত্যাচারী, কেউ মধ্যপন্থা অবলম্বনকারী এবং তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর নির্দেশক্রমে কল্যাণের পথে এগিয়ে গেছে। এটাই মহা অনুগ্রহ।
Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our Servants as We have chosen: but there are among them some who wrong their own souls; some who follow a middle course; and some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds; that is the highest Grace. |

আর মন্দের প্রতিফল তো অনুরূপ মন্দই। যে ক্ষমা করে ও আপোষ করে তার পুরস্কার আল্লাহর কাছে রয়েছে; নিশ্চয় তিনি অত্যাচারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন নাই।
The recompense for an injury is an injury equal thereto (in degree): but if a person forgives and makes reconciliation, his reward is due from Allah: for (Allah) loveth not those who do wrong. |
(আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৪০) |
