তারা ঐ শাস্ত্রের অনুসরণ করল, যা সুলায়মানের রাজত্ব কালে শয়তানরা আবৃত্তি করত। সুলায়মান কুফর করেনি; শয়তানরাই কুফর করেছিল। তারা মানুষকে জাদুবিদ্যা এবং বাবেল শহরে হারুত ও মারুত দুই ফেরেশতার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছিল, তা শিক্ষা দিত। তারা উভয়ই একথা না বলে কাউকে শিক্ষা দিত না যে, আমরা পরীক্ষার জন্য; কাজেই তুমি কাফের হয়ো না। অতঃপর তারা তাদের কাছ থেকে এমন জাদু শিখত, যদ্দ্বারা স্বামী ও স্ত্রীর মধ্যে বিচ্ছেদ ঘটে। তারা আল্লাহর আদেশ ছাড়া তদ্দ্বারা কারও অনিষ্ট করতে পারত না। যা তাদের ক্ষতি করে এবং উপকার না করে, তারা তাই শিখে। তারা ভালরূপে জানে যে, যে কেউ জাদু অবলম্বন করে, তার জন্য পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই। যার বিনিময়ে তারা আত্নবিক্রয় করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ যদি তারা জানত।
They followed what the evil ones gave out (falsely) against the power of Solomon: the blasphemers Were, not Solomon, but the evil ones, teaching men Magic, and such things as came down at babylon to the angels Harut and Marut. But neither of these taught anyone (Such things) without saying: "We are only for trial; so do not blaspheme." They learned from them the means to sow discord between man and wife. But they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah's permission. And they learned what harmed them, not what profited them. And they knew that the buyers of (magic) would have no share in the happiness of the Hereafter. And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew! |

আর অতঃপর যখন হজ্জ্বের যাবতীয় অনুষ্ঠানক্রিয়াদি সমাপ্ত করে সারবে, তখন স্মরণ করবে আল্লাহকে, যেমন করে তোমরা স্মরণ করতে নিজেদের বাপ-দাদাদেরকে; বরং তার চেয়েও বেশী স্মরণ করবে। তারপর অনেকে তো বলে যে পরওয়াদেগার! আমাদিগকে দুনিয়াতে দান কর। অথচ তার জন্যে পরকালে কোন অংশ নেই।
So when ye have accomplished your holy rites, celebrate the praises of Allah, as ye used to celebrate the praises of your fathers,- yea, with far more Heart and soul. There are men who say: "Our Lord! Give us (Thy bounties) in this world!" but they will have no portion in the Hereafter. |

এদেরই জন্য অংশ রয়েছে নিজেদের উপার্জিত সম্পদের। আর আল্লাহ দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী।
To these will be allotted what they have earned; and Allah is quick in account. |

আর স্মরণ কর, যখন ইব্রাহীম বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে দেখাও, কেমন করে তুমি মৃতকে জীবিত করবে। বললেন; তুমি কি বিশ্বাস কর না? বলল, অবশ্যই বিশ্বাস করি, কিন্তু দেখতে এজন্যে চাইছি যাতে অন্তরে প্রশান্তি লাভ করতে পারি। বললেন, তাহলে চারটি পাখী ধরে নাও। পরে সেগুলোকে নিজের পোষ মানিয়ে নাও, অতঃপর সেগুলোর দেহের একেকটি অংশ বিভিন্ন পাহাড়ের উপর রেখে দাও। তারপর সেগুলোকে ডাক; তোমার নিকট দৌড়ে চলে আসবে। আর জেনে রাখো, নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, অতি জ্ঞান সম্পন্ন।
When Abraham said: "Show me, Lord, how You will raise the dead, " He replied: "Have you no faith?" He said "Yes, but just to reassure my heart." Allah said, "Take four birds, draw them to you, and cut their bodies to pieces. Scatter them over the mountain-tops, then call them back. They will come swiftly to you. Know that Allah is Mighty, Wise." |

তিনিই আপনার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন। তাতে কিছু আয়াত রয়েছে সুস্পষ্ট, সেগুলোই কিতাবের আসল অংশ। আর অন্যগুলো রূপক। সুতরাং যাদের অন্তরে কুটিলতা রয়েছে, তারা অনুসরণ করে ফিৎনা বিস্তার এবং অপব্যাখ্যার উদ্দেশে তন্মধ্যেকার রূপকগুলোর। আর সেগুলোর ব্যাখ্যা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কেউ জানে না। আর যারা জ্ঞানে সুগভীর, তারা বলেনঃ আমরা এর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি। এই সবই আমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। আর বোধশক্তি সম্পন্নেরা ছাড়া অপর কেউ শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করে না।
He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding. |

আপনি কি তাদের দেখেননি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ পেয়েছে-আল্লাহর কিতাবের প্রতি তাদের আহবান করা হয়েছিল যাতে তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করা যায়। অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে একদল তা অমান্য করে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah, to settle their dispute, but a party of them Turn back and decline (The arbitration). |

যারা আল্লাহর নামে কৃত অঙ্গীকার এবং প্রতিজ্ঞা সামান্য মুল্যে বিক্রয় করে, আখেরাতে তাদের কেন অংশ নেই। আর তাদের সাথে কেয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ কথা বলবেন না। তাদের প্রতি (করুণার) দৃষ্টিও দেবেন না। আর তাদেরকে পরিশুদ্ধও করবেন না। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব।
As for those who sell the faith they owe to Allah and their own plighted word for a small price, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter: Nor will Allah (Deign to) speak to them or look at them on the Day of Judgment, nor will He cleans them (of sin): They shall have a grievous penalty. |

খুব শীঘ্রই আমি কাফেরদের মনে ভীতির সঞ্চার করবো। কারণ, ওরা আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে যে সম্পর্কে কোন সনদ অবতীর্ণ করা হয়নি। আর ওদের ঠিকানা হলো দোযখের আগুন। বস্তুতঃ জালেমদের ঠিকানা অত্যন্ত নিকৃষ্ট।
Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers! |

আর তোমরা স্ত্রীদেরকে তাদের মোহর দিয়ে দাও খুশীমনে। তারা যদি খুশী হয়ে তা থেকে অংশ ছেড়ে দেয়, তবে তা তোমরা স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে ভোগ কর।
And give the women (on marriage) their dower as a free gift; but if they, of their own good pleasure, remit any part of it to you, Take it and enjoy it with right good cheer. |

পিতা-মাতা ও আত্নীয়-স্বজনদের পরিত্যক্ত সম্পত্তিতে পুরুষদেরও অংশ আছে এবং পিতা-মাতা ও আত্নীয়-স্বজনদের পরিত্যক্ত সম্পত্তিতে নারীদেরও অংশ আছে; অল্প হোক কিংবা বেশী। এ অংশ নির্ধারিত।
From what is left by parents and those nearest related there is a share for men and a share for women, whether the property be small or large,-a determinate share. |

আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের সন্তানদের সম্পর্কে আদেশ করেনঃ একজন পুরুষের অংশ দু?জন নারীর অংশের সমান। অতঃপর যদি শুধু নারীই হয় দু' এর অধিক, তবে তাদের জন্যে ঐ মালের তিন ভাগের দুই ভাগ যা ত্যাগ করে মরে এবং যদি একজনই হয়, তবে তার জন্যে অর্ধেক। মৃতের পিতা-মাতার মধ্য থেকে প্রত্যেকের জন্যে ত্যাজ্য সম্পত্তির ছয় ভাগের এক ভাগ, যদি মৃতের পুত্র থাকে। যদি পুত্র না থাকে এবং পিতা-মাতাই ওয়ারিস হয়, তবে মাতা পাবে তিন ভাগের এক ভাগ। অতঃপর যদি মৃতের কয়েকজন ভাই থাকে, তবে তার মাতা পাবে ছয় ভাগের এক ভাগ ওছিয়্যতের পর, যা করে মরেছে কিংবা ঋণ পরিশোধের পর। তোমাদের পিতা ও পুত্রের মধ্যে কে তোমাদের জন্যে অধিক উপকারী তোমরা জান না। এটা আল্লাহ কতৃক নির্ধারিত অংশ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, রহস্যবিদ।
Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased Left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases ('s) after the payment of legacies and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your children are nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, Al-wise. |

আর, তোমাদের হবে অর্ধেক সম্পত্তি, যা ছেড়ে যায় তোমাদের স্ত্রীরা যদি তাদের কোন সন্তান না থাকে। যদি তাদের সন্তান থাকে, তবে তোমাদের হবে এক-চতুর্থাংশ ঐ সম্পত্তির, যা তারা ছেড়ে যায়; ওছিয়্যতের পর, যা তারা করে এবং ঋণ পরিশোধের পর। স্ত্রীদের জন্যে এক-চতুর্থাংশ হবে ঐ সম্পত্তির, যা তোমরা ছেড়ে যাও যদি তোমাদের কোন সন্তান না থাকে। আর যদি তোমাদের সন্তান থাকে, তবে তাদের জন্যে হবে ঐ সম্পত্তির আট ভাগের এক ভাগ, যা তোমরা ছেড়ে যাও ওছিয়্যতের পর, যা তোমরা কর এবং ঋণ পরিশোধের পর। যে পুরুষের, ত্যাজ্য সম্পত্তি, তার যদি পিতা-পুত্র কিংবা স্ত্রী না থাকে এবং এই মৃতের এক ভাই কিংবা এক বোন থাকে, তবে উভয়ের প্রত্যেকে ছয়-ভাগের এক পাবে। আর যদি ততোধিক থাকে, তবে তারা এক তৃতীয়াংশ অংশীদার হবে ওছিয়্যতের পর, যা করা হয় অথবা ঋণের পর এমতাবস্থায় যে, অপরের ক্ষতি না করে। এ বিধান আল্লাহর। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, সহনশীল।
In what your wives leave, your share is a half, if they leave no child; but if they leave a child, ye get a fourth; after payment of legacies and debts. In what ye leave, their share is a fourth, if ye leave no child; but if ye leave a child, they get an eighth; after payment of legacies and debts. If the man or woman whose inheritance is in question, has left neither ascendants nor descendants, but has left a brother or a sister, each one of the two gets a sixth; but if more than two, they share in a third; after payment of legacies and debts; so that no loss is caused (to any one). Thus is it ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, Most Forbearing. |

আয়াতঃ ১২) |

আর তোমরা আকাঙ্ক্ষা করো না এমন সব বিষয়ে যাতে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের একের উপর অপরের শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দান করেছেন। পুরুষ যা অর্জন করে সেটা তার অংশ এবং নারী যা অর্জন করে সেটা তার অংশ। আর আল্লাহর কাছে তাঁর অনুগ্রহ প্রার্থনা কর। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তা’আলা সর্ব বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত।
And in no wise covet those things in which Allah Hath bestowed His gifts More freely on some of you than on others: To men is allotted what they earn, and to women what they earn: But ask Allah of His bounty. For Allah hath full knowledge of all things. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

তুমি কি ওদের দেখনি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, (অথচ) তারা পথভ্রষ্টতা খরিদ করে এবং কামনা করে, যাতে তোমরাও আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে যাও।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they traffic in error, and wish that ye should lose the right path. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪) |
| 15 |
নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তাকে ক্ষমা করেন না, যে লোক তাঁর সাথে শরীক করে। তিনি ক্ষমা করেন এর নিম্ন পর্যায়ের পাপ, যার জন্য তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন। আর যে লোক অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করল আল্লাহর সাথে, সে যেন অপবাদ আরোপ করল।
Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮) |
| 16 |
তুমি কি তাদেরকে দেখনি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, যারা মান্য করে প্রতিমা ও শয়তানকে এবং কাফেরদেরকে বলে যে, এরা মুসলমানদের তুলনায় অধিকতর সরল সঠিক পথে রয়েছে।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they believe in sorcery and Evil, and say to the Unbelievers that they are better guided in the (right) way Than the believers! |

| 17 |
তাদের কাছে কি রাজ্যের কোন অংশ আছে? তাহলে যে এরা কাউকেও একটি তিল পরিমাণও দেবে না।
Have they a share in dominion or power? Behold, they give not a farthing to their fellow-men? |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩) |
| 18 |
যে লোক সৎকাজের জন্য কোন সুপারিশ করবে, তা থেকে সেও একটি অংশ পাবে। আর যে লোক সুপারিশ করবে মন্দ কাজের জন্যে সে তার বোঝারও একটি অংশ পাবে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল।
Whoever recommends and helps a good cause becomes a partner therein: And whoever recommends and helps an evil cause, shares in its burden: And Allah hath power over all things. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫) |

যার প্রতি আল্লাহ অভিসম্পাত করেছেন। শয়তান বললঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে নির্দিষ্ট অংশ গ্রহণ করব।
Allah did curse him, but he said: "I will take of Thy servants a portion Marked off; |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৮) |
| 20 |
মানুষ আপনার নিকট ফতোয়া জানতে চায় অতএব, আপনি বলে দিন, আল্লাহ তোমাদিগকে কালালাহ এর মীরাস সংক্রান্ত সুস্পষ্ট নির্দেশ বাতলে দিচ্ছেন, যদি কোন পুরুষ মারা যায় এবং তার কোন সন্তানাদি না থাকে এবং এক বোন থাকে, তবে সে পাবে তার পরিত্যাক্ত সম্পত্তির অর্ধেক অংশ এবং সে যদি নিঃসন্তান হয়, তবে তার ভাই তার উত্তরাধিকারী হবে। তা দুই বোন থাকলে তাদের জন্য পরিত্যক্ত সম্পত্তির দুই তৃতীয়াংশ। পক্ষান্তরে যদি ভাই ও বোন উভয়ই থাকে, তবে একজন পুরুষের অংশ দুজন নারীর সমান। তোমরা বিভ্রান্ত হবে আল্লাহ তোমাদিগকে সুস্পষ্ট ভাবে জানিয়ে দিচ্ছেন। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন সর্ব বিষয়ে পরিজ্ঞাত।
They ask thee for a legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs. If it is a man that dies, leaving a sister but no child, she shall have half the inheritance: If (such a deceased was) a woman, who left no child, Her brother takes her inheritance: If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance (between them): if there are brothers and sisters, (they share), the male having twice the share of the female. Thus doth Allah make clear to you (His law), lest ye err. And Allah hath knowledge of all things. |
(আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৬) |
| 21 |
তারা কাফের, যারা বলে যে, মরিময়-তনয় মসীহ-ই আল্লাহ; অথচ মসীহ বলেন, হে বণী-ইসরাঈল, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর, যিনি আমার পালন কর্তা এবং তোমাদেরও পালনকর্তা। নিশ্চয় যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদার স্থির করে, আল্লাহ তার জন্যে জান্নাত হারাম করে দেন। এবং তার বাসস্থান হয় জাহান্নাম। অত্যাচারীদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
They do blaspheme who say: "Allah is Christ the son of Mary." But said Christ: "O Children of Israel! worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Whoever joins other gods with Allah,- Allah will forbid him the garden, and the Fire will be his abode. There will for the wrong-doers be no one to help. |

আয়াতঃ ৭২) |
| 22 |
আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমি কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত-যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের স্রষ্টা এবং যিনি সবাইকে আহার্য দানকরেন ও তাঁকে কেউ আহার্য দান করে না অপরকে সাহায্যকারী স্থির করব? আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমি আদিষ্ট হয়েছি যে, সর্বাগ্রে আমিই আজ্ঞাবহ হব। আপনি কদাচ অংশীবাদীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন না।
Say: "Shall I take for my protector any other than Allah, the Maker of the heavens and the earth? And He it is that feedeth but is not fed." Say: "Nay! but I am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah (in Islam), and be not thou of the company of those who join gods with Allah." |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪) |
| 23 |
আর যেদিন আমি তাদের সবাইকে একত্রিত করব, অতঃপর যারা শিরক করেছিল, তাদের বলবঃ যাদেরকে তোমরা অংশীদার বলে ধারণা করতে, তারা কোথায়?
One day shall We gather them all together: We shall say to those who ascribed partners (to Us): "Where are the partners whom ye (invented and) talked about?" |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 24 |
বরং তোমরা তো তাঁকেই ডাকবে। অতঃপর যে বিপদের জন্যে তাঁকে ডাকবে, তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তা দুরও করে দেন। যাদেরকে অংশীদার করছ, তখন তাদেরকে ভুলে যাবে।
"Nay,- On Him would ye call, and if it be His will, He would remove (the distress) which occasioned your call upon Him, and ye would forget (the false gods) which ye join with Him!" |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৪১) |

তাঁর কাছেই অদৃশ্য জগতের চাবি রয়েছে। এ গুলো তিনি ব্যতীত কেউ জানে না। স্থলে ও জলে যা আছে, তিনিই জানেন। কোন পাতা ঝরে না; কিন্তু তিনি তা জানেন। কোন শস্য কণা মৃত্তিকার অন্ধকার অংশে পতিত হয় না এবং কোন আর্দ্র ও শুস্ক দ্রব্য পতিত হয় না; কিন্তু তা সব প্রকাশ্য গ্রন্থে রয়েছে।
With Him are the keys of the unseen, the treasures that none knoweth but He. He knoweth whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall but with His knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a record clear (to those who can read). |

আয়াতঃ ৫৯) |
| 26 |
তোমরা আমার কাছে নিঃসঙ্গ হয়ে এসেছ, আমি প্রথমবার তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছিলাম। আমি তোদেরকে যা দিয়েছিলাম, তা পশ্চাতেই রেখে এসেছ। আমি তো তোমাদের সাথে তোমাদের সুপারিশকারীদের কে দেখছি না। যাদের সম্পর্কে তোমাদের দাবী ছিল যে, তারা তোমাদের ব্যাপারে অংশীদার। বাস্তুবিকই তোমাদের পরস্পরের সম্পর্ক ছিন্ন হয়ে গেছে এবং তোমাদের দাবী উধাও হয়ে গেছে।
"And behold! ye come to us bare and alone as We created you for the first time: ye have left behind you all (the favours) which We bestowed on you: We see not with you your intercessors whom ye thought to be partners in your affairs: so now all relations between you have been cut off, and your (pet) fancies have left you in the lurch!" |
(আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪) |
| 27 |
তারা জিনদেরকে আল্লাহর অংশীদার স্থির করে; অথচ তাদেরকে তিনিই সৃস্টি করেছেন। তারা অজ্ঞতাবশতঃ আল্লাহর জন্যে পুত্র ও কন্যা সাব্যস্ত করে নিয়েছে। তিনি পবিত্র ও সমুন্নত, তাদের বর্ননা থেকে।
Yet they make the Jinns equals with Allah, though Allah did create the Jinns; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters. Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him! |

আল্লাহ যেসব শস্যক্ষেত্র ও জীবজন্তু সৃষ্টি করেছেন, সেগুলো থেকে তারা এক অংশ আল্লাহর জন্য নির্ধারণ করে অতঃপর নিজ ধারণা অনুসারে বলে এটা আল্লাহর এবং এটা আমাদের অংশীদারদের। অতঃপর যে অংশ তাদের অংশীদারদের, তা তো আল্লাহর দিকে পৌঁছে না এবং যা আল্লাহর তা তাদের উপাস্যদের দিকে পৌছে যায়। তাদের বিচার কতই না মন্দ।
Out of what Allah hath produced in abundance in tilth and in cattle, they assigned Him a share: they say, according to their fancies: "This is for Allah, and this" - for our "partners"! but the share of their" partners "reacheth not Allah, whilst the share of Allah reacheth their "partners"! evil (and unjust) is their assignment! |

আপনি বলুনঃ তোমাদের সাক্ষীদেরকে আন, যারা সাক্ষ্য দেয় যে, আল্লাহ তা’আলা এগুলো হারাম করেছেন। যদি তারা সাক্ষ্য দেয়, তবে আপনি এ সাক্ষ্য গ্রহণ করবেন না এবং তাদের কুপ্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করবেন না, যারা আমার নির্দেশাবলীকে মিথ্যা বলে, যারা পরকালে বিশ্বাস করে না এবং যারা স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের সমতুল্য অংশীদার করে।
Say: "Bring forward your witnesses to prove that Allah did forbid so and so." If they bring such witnesses, be not thou amongst them: Nor follow thou the vain desires of such as treat our signs as falsehoods, and such as believe not in the Hereafter: for they hold others as equal with their Guardian-Lord. |

আপনি বলুনঃ এস, আমি তোমাদেরকে ঐসব বিষয় পাঠ করে শুনাই, যেগুলো তোমাদের প্রতিপালক তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন। তাএই যে, আল্লাহর সাথে কোন কিছুকে অংশীদার করো না, পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদয় ব্যবহার করো স্বীয় সন্তানদেরকে দারিদ্রে?480; কারণে হত্যা করো না, আমি তোমাদেরকে ও তাদেরকে আহার দেই, নির্লজ্জতার কাছেও যেয়ো না, প্রকাশ্য হোক কিংবা অপ্রকাশ্য, যাকে হত্যা করা আল্লাহ হারাম করেছেন, তাকে হত্যা করো না; কিন্তু ন্যায়ভাবে। তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যেন তোমরা বুঝ।
Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom. |

আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমার প্রতিপালক আমাকে সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন একাগ্রচিত্ত ইব্রাহীমের বিশুদ্ধ ধর্ম। সে অংশীবাদীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিল না।
Say: "Verily, my Lord hath guided me to a way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the path (trod) by Abraham the true in Faith, and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah." |

তাঁর কোন অংশীদার নেই। আমি তাই আদিষ্ট হয়েছি এবং আমি প্রথম আনুগত্যশীল।
No partner hath He: this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bow to His will. |

আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমার পালনকর্তা কেবলমাত্র অশ্লীল বিষয়সমূহ হারাম করেছেন যা প্রকাশ্য ও অপ্রকাশ্য এবং হারাম করেছেন গোনাহ, অন্যায়-অত্যাচার আল্লাহর সাথে এমন বস্তুকে অংশীদার করা, তিনি যার কোন, সনদ অবতীর্ণ করেননি এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি এমন কথা আরোপ করা, যা তোমরা জান না।
Say: the things that my Lord hath indeed forbidden are: shameful deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; assigning of partners to Allah, for which He hath given no authority; and saying things about Allah of which ye have no knowledge. |

অতঃপর ঐ ব্যক্তির চাইতে অধিক জালেম কে, যে আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে অথবা তার নির্দেশাবলীকে মিথ্যা বলে? তারা তাদের গ্রন্থে লিখিত অংশ পেয়ে যাবে। এমন কি, যখন তাদের কাছে আমার প্রেরিত ফেরশতারা প্রাণ নেওয়ার জন্যে পৌছে, তখন তারা বলে; তারা কোথায় গেল, যাদের কে তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত আহবান করতে? তারা উত্তর দেবেঃ আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে, তারা নিজেদের সম্পর্কে স্বীকার করবে যে, তারা অবশ্যই কাফের ছিল।
Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: "Where are the things that ye used to invoke besides Allah?" They will reply, "They have left us in the lurch," And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected Allah. |

অথবা বলতে শুরু কর যে, অংশীদারিত্বের প্রথা তো আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা উদ্ভাবন করেছিল আমাদের পূর্বেই। আর আমরা হলাম তাদের পশ্চাৎবর্তী সন্তান-সন্ততি। তাহলে কি সে কর্মের জন্য আমাদেরকে ধ্বংস করবেন, যা পথভ্রষ্টরা করেছে?
Or lest ye should say: "Our fathers before us may have taken false gods, but we are (their) descendants after them: wilt Thou then destroy us because of the deeds of men who were futile?" |

অতঃপর তাদেরকে যখন সুস্থ ও ভাল দান করা হল, তখন দানকৃত বিষয়ে তার অংশীদার তৈরী করতে লাগল। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তাদের শরীক সাব্যস্ত করা থেকে বহু উর্ধে।
But when He giveth them a goodly child, they ascribe to others a share in the gift they have received: but Allah is exalted high above the partners they ascribe to Him. |

তাদের কি পা আছে, যদ্বারা তারা চলাফেরা করে, কিংবা তাদের কি হাত আছে, যদ্বারা তারা ধরে। অথবা তাদের কি চোখ আছে যদ্বারা তারা দেখতে পায় কিংবা তাদের কি কান আছে যদ্বারা শুনতে পায়? বলে দাও, তোমরা ডাক তোমাদের অংশীদারদিগকে, অতঃপর আমার অমঙ্গল কর এবং আমাকে অবকাশ দিও না।
Have they feet to walk with? Or hands to lay hold with? Or eyes to see with? Or ears to hear with? Say: "Call your 'god-partners', scheme (your worst) against me, and give me no respite! |

আর সমস্ত মুমিনের অভিযানে বের হওয়া সঙ্গত নয়। তাই তাদের প্রত্যেক দলের একটি অংশ কেন বের হলো না, যাতে দ্বীনের জ্ঞান লাভ করে এবং সংবাদ দান করে স্বজাতিকে, যখন তারা তাদের কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে, যেন তারা বাঁচতে পারে।
Nor should the Believers all go forth together: if a contingent from every expedition remained behind, they could devote themselves to studies in religion, and admonish the people when they return to them,- that thus they (may learn) to guard themselves (against evil). |

বস্তুতঃ যে কোন অবস্থাতেই তুমি থাক এবং কোরআনের যে কোন অংশ থেকেই পাঠ করা কিংবা যে কোন কাজই তোমরা কর অথচ আমি তোমাদের নিকটে উপস্থিত থাকি যখন তোমরা তাতে আত্ননিয়োগ কর। আর তোমার পরওয়ারদেগার থেকে গোপন থাকে না একটি কনাও, না যমীনের এবং না আসমানের। না এর চেয়ে ক্ষুদ্র কোন কিছু আছে, না বড় যা এই প্রকৃষ্ট কিতাবে নেই।
In whatever business thou mayest be, and whatever portion thou mayest be reciting from the Qur'an,- and whatever deed ye (mankind) may be doing,- We are witnesses thereof when ye are deeply engrossed therein. Nor is hidden from thy Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in heaven. And not the least and not the greatest of these things but are recorded in a clear record. |

আর সম্ভবতঃ ঐসব আহকাম যা ওহীর মাধ্যমে তোমার নিকট পাঠানো হয়, তার কিছু অংশ বর্জন করবে? এবং এতে মন ছোট করে বসবে? তাদের এ কথায় যে, তাঁর উপর কোন ধন-ভান্ডার কেন অবতীর্ণ হয়নি? অথবা তাঁর সাথে কোন ফেরেশতা আসেনি কেন? তুমিতো শুধু সতর্ককারী মাত্র; আর সব কিছুরই দায়িত্বভার তো আল্লাহই নিয়েছেন।
Perchance thou mayest (feel the inclination) to give up a part of what is revealed unto thee, and thy heart feeleth straitened lest they say, "Why is not a treasure sent down unto him, or why does not an angel come down with him?" But thou art there only to warn! It is Allah that arrangeth all affairs! |

আমি আপন পিতৃপুরুষ ইব্রাহীম, ইসহাক ও ইয়াকুবের ধর্ম অনুসরণ করছি। আমাদের জন্য শোভা পায় না যে, কোন বস্তুকে আল্লাহর অংশীদার করি। এটা আমাদের প্রতি এবং অন্য সব লোকের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ। কিন্ত অধিকাংশ লোক অনুগ্রহ স্বীকার করে না।
"And I follow the ways of my fathers,- Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and never could we attribute any partners whatever to Allah: that (comes) of the grace of Allah to us and to mankind: yet most men are not grateful. |

বলে দিনঃ এই আমার পথ। আমি আল্লাহর দিকে বুঝে সুঝে দাওয়াত দেই আমি এবং আমার অনুসারীরা। আল্লাহ পবিত্র। আমি অংশীবাদীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত নই।
Say thou: "This is my way: I do invite unto Allah,- on evidence clear as the seeing with one's eyes,- I and whoever follows me. Glory to Allah! and never will I join gods with Allah!" |

জিজ্ঞেস করুন নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের পালনকর্তা কে? বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ! বলুনঃ তবে কি তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন অভিভাবক স্থির করেছ, যারা নিজেদের ভাল-মন্দের ও মালিক নয়? বলুনঃ অন্ধ চক্ষুষ্মান কি সমান হয়? অথবা কোথাও কি অন্ধকার ও আলো সমান হয়। তবে কি তারা আল্লাহর জন্য এমন অংশীদার স্থির করেছে যে, তারা কিছু সৃষ্টি করেছে, যেমন সৃষ্টি করেছেন আল্লাহ? অতঃপর তাদের সৃষ্টি এরূপ বিভ্রান্তি ঘটিয়েছে? বলুনঃ আল্লাহই প্রত্যেক বস্তুর স্রষ্টা এবং তিনি একক, পরাক্রমশালী।
Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Do ye then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Or do they assign to Allah partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible." |

আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 44 |
ওরা প্রত্যেকেই কি মাথার উপর স্ব স্ব কৃতকর্ম নিয়ে দন্ডায়মান নয়? এবং তারা আল্লাহর জন্য অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে। বলুন; নাম বল অথবা খবর দাও পৃথিবীর এমন কিছু জিনিস সম্পর্কে যা তিনি জানেন না? অথবা অসার কথাবার্তা বলছ? বরং সুশোভিত করা হয়েছে কাফেরদের জন্যে তাদের প্রতারণাকে এবং তাদেরকে সৎপথ থেকে বাধা দান করা হয়েছে। আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন, তার কোন পথ প্রদর্শক নেই।
Is then He who standeth over every soul (and knoweth) all that it doth, (like any others)? And yet they ascribe partners to Allah. Say: "But name them! is it that ye will inform Him of something he knoweth not on earth, or is it (just) a show of words?" Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide. |

আয়াতঃ ৩৩) |

এবং যাদেরকে আমি গ্রন্থ দিয়েছি, তারা আপনার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, তজ্জন্যে আনন্দিত হয় এবং কোন কোন দল এর কোন কোন বিষয় অস্বীকার করে। বলুন, আমাকে এরূপ আদেশই দেয়া হয়েছে যে, আমি আল্লাহর এবাদত করি। এবং তাঁর সাথে অংশীদার না করি। আমি তাঁর দিকেই দাওয়াত দেই এবং তাঁর কাছেই আমার প্রত্যাবর্তন।
Those to whom We have given the Book rejoice at what hath been revealed unto thee: but there are among the clans those who reject a part thereof. Say: "I am commanded to worship Allah, and not to join partners with Him. Unto Him do I call, and unto Him is my return." |
(রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬) |
| 46 |
যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সত্তার অবিশ্বাসী তাদের অবস্থা এই যে, তাদের কর্মসমূহ ছাইভস্মের মত যার উপর দিয়ে প্রবল বাতাস বয়ে যায় ধূলিঝড়ের দিন। তাদের উপার্জনের কোন অংশই তাদের করতলগত হবে না। এটাই দুরবর্তী পথভ্রষ্টতা।
The parable of those who reject their Lord is that their works are as ashes, on which the wind blows furiously on a tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they have earned: that is the straying far, far (from the goal). |
(ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১৮) |
| 47 |
অতঃপর কেয়ামতের দিন তিনি তাদেরকে লাঞ্ছিত করবেন এবং বলবেনঃ আমার অংশীদাররা কোথায়, যাদের ব্যাপারে তোমরা খুব হঠকারিতা করতে ? যারা জ্ঞানপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল তারা বলবেঃ নিশ্চয়ই আজকের দিনে লাঞ্ছনা ও দুর্গতি কাফেরদের জন্যে,
Then, on the Day of Judgment, He will cover them with shame, and say: "Where are My 'partners' concerning whom ye used to dispute (with the godly)?" Those endued with knowledge will say: "This Day, indeed, are the Unbelievers covered with shame and misery,- |

| 48 |
এরপর যখন আল্লাহ তোমাদের কষ্ট দুরীভূত করে দেন, তখনই তোমাদের একদল স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সাথে অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করতে থাকে।
Yet, when He removes the distress from you, behold! some of you turn to other gods to join with their Lord- |

আয়াতঃ ৫৪) |
| 49 |
তারা আমার দেয়া জীবনোপকরণ থেকে তাদের জন্যে একটি অংশ নির্ধারিত করে, যাদের কোন খবরই তারা রাখে না। আল্লাহর কসম, তোমরা যে অপবাদ আরোপ করছ, সে সম্পর্কে অবশ্যই জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে।
And they (even) assign, to things they do not know, a portion out of that which We have bestowed for their sustenance! By Allah, ye shall certainly be called to account for your false inventions. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |

তার আধিপত্য তো তাদের উপরই চলে, যারা তাকে বন্ধু মনে করে এবং যারা তাকে অংশীদার মানে।
His authority is over those only, who take him as patron and who join partners with Allah. |
(নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১০০) |
| 51 |
রাত্রির কিছু অংশ কোরআন পাঠ সহ জাগ্রত থাকুন। এটা আপনার জন্যে অতিরিক্ত। হয়ত বা আপনার পালনকর্তা আপনাকে মোকামে মাহমুদে পৌঁছাবেন।
And pray in the small watches of the morning: (it would be) an additional prayer (or spiritual profit) for thee: soon will thy Lord raise thee to a Station of Praise and Glory! |
(বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯) |

আমি এমনি ভাবে তাদেরকে জাগ্রত করলাম, যাতে তারা পরস্পর জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করে। তাদের একজন বললঃ তোমরা কতকাল অবস্থান করেছ? তাদের কেউ বললঃ একদিন অথবা একদিনের কিছু অংশ অবস্থান করছি। কেউ কেউ বললঃ তোমাদের পালনকর্তাই ভাল জানেন তোমরা কতকাল অবস্থান করেছ। এখন তোমাদের একজনকে তোমাদের এই মুদ্রাসহ শহরে প্রেরণ কর; সে যেন দেখে কোন খাদ্য পবিত্র। অতঃপর তা থেকে যেন কিছু খাদ্য নিয়ে আসে তোমাদের জন্য; সে যেন নম্রতা সহকারে যায় ও কিছুতেই যেন তোমাদের খবর কাউকে না জানায়।
Such (being their state), we raised them up (from sleep), that they might question each other. Said one of them, "How long have ye stayed (here)?" They said, "We have stayed (perhaps) a day, or part of a day." (At length) they (all) said, "Allah (alone) knows best how long ye have stayed here.... Now send ye then one of you with this money of yours to the town: let him find out which is the best food (to be had) and bring some to you, that (ye may) satisfy your hunger therewith: And let him behave with care and courtesy, and let him not inform any one about you. |
(কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯) |

এবং তাকে আমার কাজে অংশীদার করুন।
"And make him share my task: |

আয়াতঃ ৩২) |

সুতরাং এরা যা বলে সে বিষয়ে ধৈর্য্য ধারণ করুন এবং আপনার পালনকর্তার প্রশংসা পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করুন সূর্যোদয়ের পূর্বে, সূর্যাস্তের পূর্বে এবং পবিত্রতা ও মহিমা ঘোষনা করুন রাত্রির কিছু অংশ ও দিবাভাগে, সম্ভবতঃ তাতে আপনি সন্তুষ্ট হবেন।
Therefore be patient with what they say, and celebrate (constantly) the praises of thy Lord, before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; yea, celebrate them for part of the hours of the night, and at the sides of the day: that thou mayest have (spiritual) joy. |
(ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩০) |
| 55 |
তারা বলবে, আমরা একদিন অথবা দিনের কিছু অংশ অবস্থান করেছি। অতএব আপনি গণনাকারীদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন।
They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." |
(আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩) |
| 56 |
তিনি হলেন যাঁর রয়েছে নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের রাজত্ব। তিনি কোন সন্তান গ্রহণ করেননি। রাজত্বে তাঁর কোন অংশীদার নেই। তিনি প্রত্যেক বস্তু সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর তাকে শোধিত করেছেন পরিমিতভাবে।
He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: no son has He begotten, nor has He a partner in His dominion: it is He who created all things, and ordered them in due proportions. |
(আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ২) |
| 57 |
আল্লাহ তোমাকে যা দান করেছেন, তদ্বারা পরকালের গৃহ অনুসন্ধান কর, এবং ইহকাল থেকে তোমার অংশ ভূলে যেয়ো না। তুমি অনুগ্রহ কর, যেমন আল্লাহ তোমার প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করেছেন এবং পৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করতে প্রয়াসী হয়ো না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অনর্থ সৃষ্টিকারীদেরকে পছন্দ করেন না।
"But seek, with the (wealth) which Allah has bestowed on thee, the Home of the Hereafter, nor forget thy portion in this world: but do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: for Allah loves not those who do mischief." |
(আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭) |

আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে একটি দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেনঃ তোমাদের আমি যে রুযী দিয়েছি, তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্ত দাস-দাসীরা কি তাতে তোমাদের সমান সমান অংশীদার? তোমরা কি তাদেরকে সেরূপ ভয় কর, যেরূপ নিজেদের লোককে ভয় কর? এমনিভাবে আমি সমঝদার সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা করি।
He does propound to you a similitude from your own (experience): do ye have partners among those whom your right hands possess, to share as equals in the wealth We have bestowed on you? Do ye fear them as ye fear each other? Thus do we explain the Signs in detail to a people that understand. |
(আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ২৮) |
| 59 |
বলুন, তোমরা তাদেরকে আহবান কর, যাদেরকে উপাস্য মনে করতে আল্লাহ ব্যতীত। তারা নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডলের অনু পরিমাণ কোন কিছুর মালিক নয়, এতে তাদের কোন অংশও নেই এবং তাদের কেউ আল্লাহর সহায়কও নয়।
Say: "Call upon other (gods) whom ye fancy, besides Allah: They have no power,- not the weight of an atom,- in the heavens or on earth: No (sort of) share have they therein, nor is any of them a helper to Allah. |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ২২) |
| 60 |
বলুন, তোমরা যাদেরকে আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদাররূপে সংযুক্ত করেছ, তাদেরকে এনে আমাকে দেখাও। বরং তিনিই আল্লাহ, পরাক্রমশীল, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Say: "Show me those whom ye have joined with Him as partners: by no means (can ye). Nay, He is Allah, the Exalted in Power, the Wise." |
(সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭) |
| 61 |
দুর্বলরা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, বরং তোমরাই তো দিবারাত্রি চক্রান্ত করে আমাদেরকে নির্দেশ দিতে যেন আমরা আল্লাহকে না মানি এবং তাঁর অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করি তারা যখন শাস্তি দেখবে, তখন মনের অনুতাপ মনেই রাখবে। বস্তুতঃ আমি কাফেরদের গলায় বেড়ী পরাব। তারা সে প্রতিফলই পেয়ে থাকে যা তারা করত।
Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Nay! it was a plot (of yours) by day and by night: Behold! Ye (constantly) ordered us to be ungrateful to Allah and to attribute equals to Him!" They will declare (their) repentance when they see the Penalty: We shall put yokes on the necks of the Unbelievers: It would only be a requital for their (ill) Deeds. |

বলুন, তোমরা কি তোমাদের সে শরীকদের কথা ভেবে দেখেছ, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা ডাক? তারা পৃথিবীতে কিছু সৃষ্টি করে থাকলে আমাকে দেখাও। না আসমান সৃষ্টিতে তাদের কোন অংশ আছে, না আমি তাদেরকে কোন কিতাব দিয়েছি যে, তারা তার দলীলের উপর কায়েম রয়েছে, বরং জালেমরা একে অপরকে কেবল প্রতারণামূলক ওয়াদা দিয়ে থাকে।
Say: "Have ye seen (these) 'Partners' of yours whom ye call upon besides Allah? Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- Nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions. |

তারা বলে, হে আমাদের পরওয়ারদেগার, আমাদের প্রাপ্য অংশ হিসাব দিবসের আগেই দিয়ে দাও।
They say: "Our Lord! hasten to us our sentence (even) before the Day of Account!" |

আয়াতঃ ১৬) |

যখন তারা জাহান্নামে পরস্পর বিতর্ক করবে, অতঃপর দূর্বলরা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, আমরা তোমাদের অনুসারী ছিলাম। তোমরা এখন জাহান্নামের আগুনের কিছু অংশ আমাদের থেকে নিবৃত করবে কি?
Behold, they will dispute with each other in the Fire! The weak ones (who followed) will say to those who had been arrogant, "We but followed you: Can ye then take (on yourselves) from us some share of the Fire? |
(আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭) |

যে কেউ পরকালের ফসল কামনা করে, আমি তার জন্যে সেই ফসল বাড়িয়ে দেই। আর যে ইহকালের ফসল কামনা করে, আমি তাকে তার কিছু দিয়ে দেই এবং পরকালে তার কোন অংশ থাকবে না।
To any that desires the tilth of the Hereafter, We give increase in his tilth, and to any that desires the tilth of this world, We grant somewhat thereof, but he has no share or lot in the Hereafter. |

তারা আল্লাহর বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে আল্লাহর অংশ স্থির করেছে। বাস্তবিক মানুষ স্পষ্ট অকৃতজ্ঞ।
Yet they attribute to some of His servants a share with Him (in his godhead)! truly is man a blasphemous ingrate avowed! |
(যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫) |
| 67 |
বলুন, তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদের পূজা কর, তাদের বিষয়ে ভেবে দেখেছ কি? দেখাও আমাকে তারা পৃথিবীতে কি সৃষ্টি করেছে? অথবা নভোমন্ডল সৃজনে তাদের কি কোন অংশ আছে? এর পূর্ববর্তী কোন কিতাব অথবা পরস্পরাগত কোন জ্ঞান আমার কাছে উপস্থিত কর, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও।
Say: "Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides Allah? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens bring me a book (revealed) before this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth! |
(আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪) |

এবং যাতে তিনি কপট বিশ্বাসী পুরুষ ও কপট বিশ্বাসিনী নারী এবং অংশীবাদী পুরুষ ও অংশীবাদিনী নারীদেরকে শাস্তি দেন, যারা আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে মন্দ ধারণা পোষন করে। তাদের জন্য মন্দ পরিনাম। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছেন, তাদেরকে অভিশপ্ত করেছেন। এবং তাহাদের জন্যে জাহান্নাম প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন। তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন স্থল অত্যন্ত মন্দ।
And that He may punish the Hypocrites, men and women, and the Polytheists men and women, who imagine an evil opinion of Allah. On them is a round of Evil: the Wrath of Allah is on them: He has cursed them and got Hell ready for them: and evil is it for a destination. |

রাত্রির কিছু অংশে তাঁর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন এবং নামাযের পশ্চাতেও।
And during part of the night, (also,) celebrate His praises, and (so likewise) after the postures of adoration. |

তারা রাত্রির সামান্য অংশেই নিদ্রা যেত,
They were in the habit of sleeping but little by night, |

এবং রাত্রির কিছু অংশে এবং তারকা অস্তমিত হওয়ার সময় তাঁর পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন।
And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! |
(আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯) |
| 72 |
মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। তিনি নিজে অনুগ্রহের দ্বিগুণ অংশ তোমাদেরকে দিবেন, তোমাদেরকে দিবেন জ্যোতি, যার সাহায্যে তোমরা চলবে এবং তোমাদেরকে ক্ষমা করবেন। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, দয়াময়।
O ye that believe! Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger, and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a Light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path), and He will forgive you (your past): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. |

আয়াতঃ ২৮) |

তিনিই আল্লাহ তিনি ব্যতিত কোন উপাস্য নেই। তিনিই একমাত্র মালিক, পবিত্র, শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তাদাতা, আশ্রয়দাতা, পরাক্রান্ত, প্রতাপান্বিত, মাহাত্ন?486;ীল। তারা যাকে অংশীদার করে আল্লাহ তা’ আলা তা থেকে পবিত্র।
Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him. |

রাত্রিতে দন্ডায়মান হোন কিছু অংশ বাদ দিয়ে;
Stand (to prayer) by night, but not all night,- |

| 75 |
রাত্রির কিছু অংশে তাঁর উদ্দেশে সিজদা করুন এবং রাত্রির দীর্ঘ সময় তাঁর পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করুন।
And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through. |
