“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”

নং আয়াত সূরা
1 আর তোমরা যখন বললে, হে মূসা, আমরা একই ধরনের খাদ্য-দ্রব্যে কখনও ধৈর্য্যধারণ করব না। কাজেই তুমি তোমার পালনকর্তার নিকট আমাদের পক্ষে প্রার্থনা কর, তিনি যেন আমাদের জন্যে এমন বস্তুসামগ্রী দান করেন যা জমিতে উৎপন্ন হয়, তরকারী, কাকড়ী, গম, মসুরি, পেঁয়াজ প্রভৃতি। মূসা (আঃ) বললেন, তোমরা কি এমন বস্তু নিতে চাও যা নিকৃষ্ট সে বস্তুর পরিবর্তে যা উত্তম? তোমরা কোন নগরীতে উপনীত হও, তাহলেই পাবে যা তোমরা কামনা করছ। আর তাদের উপর আরোপ করা হল লাঞ্ছনা ও পরমুখাপেক্ষিতা। তারা আল্লাহর রোষানলে পতিত হয়ে ঘুরতে থাকল। এমন হলো এ জন্য যে, তারা আল্লাহর বিধি বিধান মানতো না এবং নবীগনকে অন্যায়ভাবে হত্যা করত। তার কারণ, তারা ছিল নাফরমান সীমালংঘকারী।
And remember ye said: "O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so beseech thy Lord for us to produce for us of what the earth groweth, -its pot-herbs, and cucumbers, Its garlic, lentils, and onions." He said: "Will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town, and ye shall find what ye want!" They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah and slaying His Messengers without just cause. This because they rebelled and went on transgressing.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
2 যখন তোমরা একজনকে হত্যা করে পরে সে সম্পর্কে একে অপরকে অভিযুক্ত করেছিলে। যা তোমরা গোপন করছিলে, তা প্রকাশ করে দেয়া ছিল আল্লাহর অভিপ্রায়।
Remember ye slew a man and fell into a dispute among yourselves as to the crime: But Allah was to bring forth what ye did hide.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
3 অবশ্যই আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি। এবং তার পরে পর্যায়ক্রমে রসূল পাঠিয়েছি। আমি মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসাকে সুস্পষ্ট মোজেযা দান করেছি এবং পবিত্র রূহের মাধ্যমে তাকে শক্তিদান করেছি। অতঃপর যখনই কোন রসূল এমন নির্দেশ নিয়ে তোমাদের কাছে এসেছে, যা তোমাদের মনে ভাল লাগেনি, তখনই তোমরা অহংকার করেছ। শেষ পর্যন্ত তোমরা একদলকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছ এবং একদলকে হত্যা করেছ।
We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
4 যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, আল্লাহ যা পাঠিয়েছেন তা মেনে নাও, তখন তারা বলে, আমরা মানি যা আমাদের প্রতি অবর্তীণ হয়েছে। সেটি ছাড়া সবগুলোকে তারা অস্বীকার করে। অথচ এ গ্রন্থটি সত্য এবং সত্যায়ন করে ঐ গ্রন্থের যা তাদের কাছে রয়েছে। বলে দিন, তবে তোমরা ইতিপূর্বে পয়গম্বরদের হত্যা করতে কেন যদি তোমরা বিশ্বাসী ছিলে?
When it is said to them, "Believe in what Allah Hath sent down, "they say, "We believe in what was sent down to us:" yet they reject all besides, even if it be Truth confirming what is with them. Say: "Why then have ye slain the prophets of Allah in times gone by, if ye did indeed believe?"		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
5 আর তাদেরকে হত্যাকর যেখানে পাও সেখানেই এবং তাদেরকে বের করে দাও সেখান থেকে যেখান থেকে তারা বের করেছে তোমাদেরকে। বস্তুতঃ ফেতনা ফ্যাসাদ বা দাঙ্গা-হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টি করা হত্যার চেয়েও কঠিন অপরাধ। আর তাদের সাথে লড়াই করো না মসজিদুল হারামের নিকটে যতক্ষণ না তারা তোমাদের সাথে সেখানে লড়াই করে। অবশ্য যদি তারা নিজেরাই তোমাদের সাথে লড়াই করে। তাহলে তাদেরকে হত্যা কর। এই হল কাফেরদের শাস্তি।
And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have Turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৯১)
6 সম্মানিত মাস সম্পর্কে তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, তাতে যুদ্ধ করা কেমন? বলে দাও এতে যুদ্ধ করা ভীষণ বড় পাপ। আর আল্লাহর পথে প্রতিবন্দ্বকতা সৃষ্টি করা এবং কুফরী করা, মসজিদে-হারামের পথে বাধা দেয়া এবং সেখানকার অধিবাসীদেরকে বহিস্কার করা, আল্লাহর নিকট তার চেয়েও বড় পাপ। আর ধর্মের ব্যাপারে ফেতনা সৃষ্টি করা নরহত্যা অপেক্ষাও মহা পাপ। বস্তুতঃ তারা তো সর্বদাই তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে থাকবে, যাতে করে তোমাদিগকে দ্বীন থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারে যদি সম্ভব হয়। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা নিজের দ্বীন থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করবে, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তাদের যাবতীয় আমল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যাবে। আর তারাই হলো দোযখবাসী। তাতে তারা চিরকাল বাস করবে।
They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২১৭)
7 তারপর ঈমানদাররা আল্লাহর হুকুমে জালূতের বাহিনীকে পরাজিত করে দিল এবং দাউদ জালূতকে হত্যা করল। আর আল্লাহ দাউদকে দান করলেন রাজ্য ও অভিজ্ঞতা। আর তাকে যা চাইলেন শিখালেন। আল্লাহ যদি একজনকে অপরজনের দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন, তাহলে গোটা দুনিয়া বিধ্বস্ত হয়ে যেতো। কিন্তু বিশ্ববাসীর প্রতি আল্লাহ একান্তই দয়ালু, করুণাময়।
By Allah's will they routed them; and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom and taught him whatever (else) He willed. And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৫১)
8 যারা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনাবলীকে অস্বীকার করে এবং পয়গম্বরগণকে হত্যা করে অন্যায়ভাবে, আর সেসব লোককে হত্যা করে যারা ন্যায়পরায়ণতার নির্দেশ দেয় তাদেরকে বেদনাদায়ক শাস্তির সংবাদ দিন।
As to those who deny the Signs of Allah and in defiance of right, slay the prophets, and slay those who teach just dealing with mankind, announce to them a grievous penalty.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
9 আল্লাহর প্রতিশ্রুতি কিংবা মানুষের প্রতিশ্রুতি ব্যতিত ওরা যেখানেই অবস্থান করেছে সেখানেই তাদের ওপর লাঞ্ছনা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে। আর ওরা উপার্জন করেছে আল্লাহর গযব। ওদের উপর চাপানো হয়েছে গলগ্রহতা। তা এজন্যে যে, ওরা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অনবরত অস্বীকার করেছে এবং নবীগনকে অন্যায়ভাবে হত্যা করেছে। তার কারণ, ওরা নাফরমানী করেছে এবং সীমা লংঘন করেছে।
Shame is pitched over them (Like a tent) wherever they are found, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah and from men; they draw on themselves wrath from Allah, and pitched over them is (the tent of) destitution. This because they rejected the Signs of Allah, and slew the prophets in defiance of right; this because they rebelled and transgressed beyond bounds.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১২)
10 নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তাদের কথা শুনেছেন, যারা বলেছে যে, আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন অভাবগ্রস্ত আর আমরা বিত্তবান! এখন আমি তাদের কথা এবং যেসব নবীকে তারা অন্যায়ভাবে হত্যা করেছে তা লিখে রাখব, অতঃপর বলব, আস্বাদন কর জ্বলন্ত আগুনের আযাব।
Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: "Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!"- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: "Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮১)
11 সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা বলে যে, আল্লাহ আমাদিগকে এমন কোন রসূলের ওপর বিশ্বাস না করতে বলে রেখেছেন যতক্ষণ না তারা আমাদের নিকট এমন কোরবানী নিয়ে আসবেন যাকে আগুন গ্রাস করে নেবে। তুমি তাদের বলে দাও, তোমাদের মাঝে আমার পূর্বে বহু রসূল নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং তোমরা যা আব্দার করেছ তা নিয়ে এসেছিলেন, তখন তোমরা কেন তাদেরকে হত্যা করলে যদি তোমরা সত্য হয়ে থাক।
They (also) said: "Allah took our promise not to believe in an messenger unless He showed us a sacrifice consumed by Fire (From heaven)." Say: "There came to you messengers before me, with clear Signs and even with what ye ask for: why then did ye slay them, if ye speak the truth?"		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৩)
12 হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা একে অপরের সম্পদ অন্যায়ভাবে গ্রাস করো না। কেবলমাত্র তোমাদের পরস্পরের সম্মতিক্রমে যে ব্যবসা করা হয় তা বৈধ। আর তোমরা নিজেদের কাউকে হত্যা করো না। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের প্রতি দয়ালু।
O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful!		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
13 তারা চায় যে, তারা যেমন কাফের, তোমরাও তেমনি কাফের হয়ে যাও, যাতে তোমরা এবং তারা সব সমান হয়ে যাও। অতএব, তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা আল্লাহর পথে হিজরত করে চলে আসে। অতঃপর যদি তারা বিমুখ হয়, তবে তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর এবং যেখানে পাও হত্যা কর। তাদের মধ্যে কাউকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করো না এবং সাহায্যকারী বানিও না।
They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
14 এখন তুমি আরও এক সম্প্রদায়কে পাবে। তারা তোমাদের কাছেও স্বজাতির কাছেও এবং নির্বিঘ্ন হয়ে থাকতে চায়। যখন তাদেরকে ফ্যাসাদের প্রতি মনোনিবেশ করানো হয়, তখন তারা তাতে নিপতিত হয়, অতএব তারা যদি তোমাদের থেকে নিবৃত্ত না হয়, তোমাদের সাথে সন্ধি না রাখে এবং স্বীয় হস্তসমূহকে বিরত না রাখে, তবে তোমরা তাদেরকে পাকড়াও কর এবং যেখানে পাও হত্যা কর। আমি তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাদেরকে প্রকাশ্য যুক্তি-প্রমাণ দান করেছি।
Others you will find that wish to gain your confidence as well as that of their people: Every time they are sent back to temptation, they succumb thereto: if they withdraw not from you nor give you (guarantees) of peace besides restraining their hands, seize them and slay them wherever ye get them: In their case We have provided you with a clear argument against them.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
15 মুসলমানের কাজ নয় যে, মুসলমানকে হত্যা করে; কিন্তু ভুলক্রমে। যে ব্যক্তি মুসলমানকে ভূলক্রমে হত্যা করে, সে একজন মুসলমান ক্রীতদাস মুক্ত করবে এবং রক্ত বিনিময় সমর্পন করবে তার স্বজনদেরকে; কিন্তু যদি তারা ক্ষমা করে দেয়। অতঃপর যদি নিহত ব্যক্তি তোমাদের শত্রু সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্গত হয়, তবে মুসলমান ক্রীতদাস মুক্ত করবে এবং যদি সে তোমাদের সাথে চুক্তিবদ্ধ কোন সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্গত হয়, তবে রক্ত বিনিময় সমর্পণ করবে তার স্বজনদেরকে এবং একজন মুসলমান ক্রীতদাস মুক্ত করবে। অতঃপর যে ব্যক্তি না পায়, সে আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে গোনাহ মাফ করানোর জন্যে উপর্যুপুরি দুই মাস রোযা রাখবে। আল্লাহ, মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Never should a believer kill a believer; but (If it so happens) by mistake, (Compensation is due): If one (so) kills a believer, it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (Is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have treaty of Mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their means, (is prescribed) a fast for two months running: by way of repentance to Allah: for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৯২)
16 যে ব্যক্তি স্বেচ্ছাক্রমে মুসলমানকে হত্যা করে, তার শাস্তি জাহান্নাম, তাতেই সে চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহ তার প্রতি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়েছেন, তাকে অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তার জন্যে ভীষণ শাস্তি প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন।
If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
17 অতএব, তারা যে শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তা ছিল তাদেরই অঙ্গীকার ভঙ্গর জন্য এবং অন্যায়ভাবে রসূলগণকে হত্যা করার কারণে এবং তাদের এই উক্তির দরুন যে, আমাদের হৃদয় আচ্ছন্ন। অবশ্য তা নয়, বরং কুফরীর কারণে স্বয়ং আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরের উপর মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছেন। ফলে এরা ঈমান আনে না কিন্তু অতি অল্পসংখ্যক।
(They have incurred divine displeasure): In that they broke their covenant; that they rejected the signs of Allah; that they slew the Messengers in defiance of right; that they said, "Our hearts are the wrappings (which preserve Allah's Word; We need no more)";- Nay, Allah hath set the seal on their hearts for their blasphemy, and little is it they believe;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৫)
18 আর তাদের একথা বলার কারণে যে, আমরা মরিয়ম পুত্র ঈসা মসীহকে হত্যা করেছি যিনি ছিলেন আল্লাহর রসূল। অথচ তারা না তাঁকে হত্যা করেছে, আর না শুলীতে চড়িয়েছে, বরং তারা এরূপ ধাঁধায় পতিত হয়েছিল। বস্তুতঃ তারা এ ব্যাপারে নানা রকম কথা বলে, তারা এক্ষেত্রে সন্দেহের মাঝে পড়ে আছে, শুধুমাত্র অনুমান করা ছাড়া তারা এ বিষয়ে কোন খবরই রাখে না। আর নিশ্চয়ই তাঁকে তারা হত্যা করেনি।
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
19 আপনি তাদেরকে আদমের দুই পুত্রের বাস্তব অবস্থা পাঠ করে শুনান। যখন তারা ভয়েই কিছু উৎসর্গ নিবেদন করেছিল, তখন তাদের একজনের উৎসর্গ গৃহীত হয়েছিল এবং অপরজনের গৃহীত হয়নি। সে বললঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমাকে হত্যা করব। সে বললঃ আল্লাহ ধর্মভীরুদের পক্ষ থেকেই তো গ্রহণ করেন।
Recite to them the truth of the story of the two sons of Adam. Behold! they each presented a sacrifice (to Allah): It was accepted from one, but not from the other. Said the latter: "Be sure I will slay thee." "Surely," said the former, "Allah doth accept of the sacrifice of those who are righteous.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
20 যদি তুমি আমাকে হত্যা করতে আমার দিকে হস্ত প্রসারিত কর, তবে আমি তোমাকে হত্যা করতে তোমার দিকে হস্ত প্রসারিত করব না। কেননা, আমি বিশ্বজগতের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় করি।
"If thou dost stretch thy hand against me, to slay me, it is not for me to stretch my hand against thee to slay thee: for I do fear Allah, the cherisher of the worlds.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
21 অতঃপর তার অন্তর তাকে ভ্রাতৃহত্যায় উদুদ্ধ করল। অনন্তর সে তাকে হত্যা করল। ফলে সে ক্ষতিগ্রস্তদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে গেল।
The (selfish) soul of the other led him to the murder of his brother: he murdered him, and became (himself) one of the lost ones.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
22 এ কারণেই আমি বনী-ইসলাঈলের প্রতি লিখে দিয়েছি যে, যে কেউ প্রাণের বিনিময়ে প্রাণ অথবাপৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করা ছাড়া কাউকে হত্যা করে সে যেন সব মানুষকেই হত্যা করে। এবং যে কারও জীবন রক্ষা করে, সে যেন সবার জীবন রক্ষা করে। তাদের কাছে আমার পয়গম্বরগণ প্রকাশ্য নিদর্শনাবলী নিয়ে এসেছেন। বস্তুতঃ এরপরও তাদের অনেক লোক পৃথিবীতে সীমাতিক্রম করে।
On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
23 যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের সাথে সংগ্রাম করে এবং দেশে হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টি করতে সচেষ্ট হয়, তাদের শাস্তি হচ্ছে এই যে, তাদেরকে হত্যা করা হবে অথবা শূলীতে চড়ানো হবে অথবা তাদের হস্তপদসমূহ বিপরীত দিক থেকে কেটে দেয়া হবে অথবা দেশ থেকে বহিষ্কার করা হবে। এটি হল তাদের জন্য পার্থিব লাঞ্ছনা আর পরকালে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠোর শাস্তি।
The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
24 আমি বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলাম এবং তাদের কাছে অনেক পয়গম্বর প্রেরণ করে ছিলাম। যখনই তাদের কাছে কোন পয়গম্বর এমন নির্দেশ নিয়ে আসত যা তাদের মনে চাইত না, তখন তাদের অনেকের প্রতি তারা মিথ্যারোপ করত এবংঅনেককে হত্যা করে ফেলত।
We took the covenant of the Children of Israel and sent them messengers, every time, there came to them a messenger with what they themselves desired not - some (of these) they called impostors, and some they (go so far as to) slay.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
25 এমনিভাবে অনেক মুশরেকের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের উপাস্যরা সন্তান হত্যাকে সুশোভিত করে দিয়েছে যেন তারা তাদেরকে বিনষ্ট করে দেয় এবং তাদের ধর্মমতকে তাদের কাছে বিভ্রান্ত করে দেয়। যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে তারা এ কাজ করত না। অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের মনগড়া বুলিকে পরিত্যাগ করুন।
Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their "partners" made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so: But leave alone them and their inventions.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৭)
26 নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়েছে, যারা নিজ সন্তানদেরকে নির্বুদ্ধিতাবশতঃ কোন প্রমাণ ছাড়াই হত্যা করেছে এবং আল্লাহ তাদেরকে যেসব দিয়েছিলেন, সেগুলোকে আল্লাহর প্রতি ভ্রান্ত ধারণা পোষণ করে হারাম করে নিয়েছে। নিশ্চিতই তারা পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে এবং সুপথগামী হয়নি।
Lost are those who slay their children, from folly, without knowledge, and forbid food which Allah hath provided for them, inventing (lies) against Allah. They have indeed gone astray and heeded no guidance.		 (আল আনআম:

27 আপনি বলুনঃ এস, আমি তোমাদেরকে ঐসব বিষয় পাঠ করে শুনাই, যেগুলো তোমাদের প্রতিপালক তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন। তাএই যে, আল্লাহর সাথে কোন কিছুকে অংশীদার করো না, পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদয় ব্যবহার করো স্বীয় সন্তানদেরকে দারিদ্রে?480; কারণে হত্যা করো না, আমি তোমাদেরকে ও তাদেরকে আহার দেই, নির্লজ্জতার কাছেও যেয়ো না, প্রকাশ্য হোক কিংবা অপ্রকাশ্য, যাকে হত্যা করা আল্লাহ হারাম করেছেন, তাকে হত্যা করো না; কিন্তু ন্যায়ভাবে। তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যেন তোমরা বুঝ।
Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৫১)
28 অতঃপর তারা উষ্ট্রীকে হত্যা করল এবং স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের আদেশ অমান্য করল। তারা বললঃ হে ছালেহ, নিয়ে এস যদ্দ্বারা আমাদেরকে ভয় দেখাতে, যদি তুমি রসূল হয়ে থাক।
Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: "O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art a messenger (of Allah)!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
29 ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়ের র্সদাররা বলল, তুমি কি এমনি ছেড়ে দেবে মূসা ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে। দেশময় হৈ-চৈ করার জন্য এবং তোমাকে ও তোমার দেব-দেবীকে বাতিল করে দেবার জন্য। সে বলল, আমি এখনি হত্যা করব তাদের পুত্র সন্তানদিগকে; আর জীবিত রাখব মেয়েদেরকে। বস্তুতঃ আমরা তাদের উপর প্রবল।
Said the chiefs of Pharaoh's people: "Wilt thou leave Moses and his people, to spread mischief in the land, and to abandon thee and thy gods?" He said: "Their male children will we slay; (only) their females will we save alive; and we have over them (power) irresistible."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১২৭)
30 সুতরাং তোমরা তাদেরকে হত্যা করনি, বরং আল্লাহই তাদেরকে হত্যা করেছেন। আর তুমি মাটির মুষ্ঠি নিক্ষেপ করনি, যখন তা নিক্ষেপ করেছিলে, বরং তা নিক্ষেপ করেছিলেন আল্লাহ স্বয়ং যেন ঈমানদারদের প্রতি এহসান করতে পারেন যথার্থভাবে। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী; পরিজ্ঞাত।
It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
31 আর কাফেরেরা যখন প্রতারণা করত আপনাকে বন্দী অথবা হত্যা করার উদ্দেশ্যে কিংবা আপনাকে বের করে দেয়ার জন্য তখন তারা যেমন ছলনা করত তেমনি, আল্লাহও ছলনা করতেন। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর ছলনা সবচেয়ে উত্তম।
Remember how the Unbelievers plotted against thee, to keep thee in bonds, or slay thee, or get thee out (of thy home). They plot and plan, and Allah too plans; but the best of planners is Allah.		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
32 অতঃপর নিষিদ্ধ মাস অতিবাহিত হলে মুশরিকদের হত্যা কর যেখানে তাদের পাও, তাদের বন্দী কর এবং অবরোধ কর। আর প্রত্যেক ঘাঁটিতে তাদের সন্ধানে ওঁৎ পেতে বসে থাক। কিন্তু যদি তারা তওবা করে, নামায কায়েম করে, যাকাত আদায় করে, তবে তাদের পথ ছেড়ে দাও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অতি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আত তাওবাহ:

33 তারা বলল-হে শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) আপনি যা বলেছেন তার অনেক কথাই আমরা বুঝি নাই, আমারা তো আপনাকে আমাদের মধ্যে দূর্বল ব্যক্তি রূপে মনে করি। আপনার ভাই বন্ধুরা না থাকলে আমরা আপনাকে প্রস্তরাঘাতে হত্যা করতাম। আমাদের দৃষ্টিতে আপনি কোন মর্যাদাবান ব্যক্তি নন।
They said: "O Shu'aib! much of what thou sayest we do not understand! In fact among us we see that thou hast no strength! Were it not for thy family, we should certainly have stoned thee! for thou hast among us no great position!"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
34 হত্যা কর ইউসুফকে কিংবা ফেলে আস তাকে অন্য কোন স্থানে। এতে শুধু তোমাদের প্রতিই তোমাদের পিতার মনোযোগ নিবিষ্ট হবে এবং এরপর তোমরা যোগ্য বিবেচিত হয়ে থাকবে।
"Slay ye Joseph or cast him out to some (unknown) land, that so the favour of your father may be given to you alone: (there will be time enough) for you to be righteous after that!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
35 তাদের মধ্য থেকে একজন বলল, তোমরা ইউসুফ কে হত্যা করো না, বরং ফেলে দাও তাকে অন্ধকূপে যাতে কোন পথিক তাকে উঠিয়ে নিয়ে যায়, যদি তোমাদের কিছু করতেই হয়।
Said one of them: "Slay not Joseph, but if ye must do something, throw him down to the bottom of the well: he will be picked up by some caravan of travellers."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
36 যখন মূসা স্বজাতিকে বললেনঃ তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ স্মরণ কর যখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়ের কবল থেকে মুক্তি দেন। তারা তোমাদেরকে অত্যন্ত নিকৃষ্ট ধরনের শাস্তি দিত, তোমাদের ছেলেদেরকে হত্যা করত এবং তোমাদের মেয়েদেরকে জীবিত রাখত। এবং এতে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে বিরাট পরীক্ষা হয়েছিল।
Remember! Moses said to his people: "Call to mind the favour of Allah to you when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh: they set you hard tasks and punishments, slaughtered your sons, and let your women-folk live: therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord."		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
37 যারা নির্যাতিত হওয়ার পর আল্লাহর জন্যে গৃহত্যাগ করেছে, আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে দুনিয়াতে উত্তম আবাস দেব এবং পরকালের পুরস্কার তো সর্বাধিক; হায়! যদি তারা জানত।
To those who leave their homes in the cause of Allah, after suffering oppression,- We will assuredly give a goodly home in this world; but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater. If they only realised (this)!		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
38 দারিদ্রের ভয়ে তোমাদের সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা করো না। তাদেরকে এবং তোমাদেরকে আমিই জীবনোপকরণ দিয়ে থাকি। নিশ্চয় তাদেরকে হত্যা করা মারাত্নক অপরাধ।
Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you. Verily the killing of them is a great sin.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
39 সে প্রাণকে হত্যা করো না, যাকে আল্লাহ হারাম করেছেন; কিন্তু ন্যায়ভাবে। যে ব্যক্তি অন্যায়ভাবে নিহত হয়, আমি তার উত্তরাধিকারীকে ক্ষমতা দান করি। অতএব, সে যেন হত্যার ব্যাপারে সীমা লঙ্ঘন না করে। নিশ্চয় সে সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত।
Nor take life - which Allah has made sacred - except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the Law).		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
40 তারা যদি তোমাদের খবর জানতে পারে, তবে পাথর মেরে তোমাদেরকে হত্যা করবে, অথবা তোমাদেরকে তাদের ধর্মে ফিরিয়ে নেবে। তাহলে তোমরা কখনই সাফল্য লাভ করবে না।
"For if they should come upon you, they would stone you or force you to return to their cult, and in that case ye would never attain prosperity."		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
41 অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগল। অবশেষে যখন একটি বালকের সাক্ষাত পেলেন, তখন তিনি তাকে হত্যা করলেন। মূসা বললেন? আপনি কি একটি নিস্পাপ জীবন শেষ করে দিলেন প্রাণের বিনিময় ছাড়াই? নিশ্চয়ই আপনি তো এক গুরুতর অন্যায় কাজ করলেন।
Then they proceeded: until, when they met a young man, he slew him. Moses said: "Hast thou slain an innocent person who had slain none? Truly a foul (unheard of) thing hast thou done!"		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
42 যখন তোমার ভগিনী এসে বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেব কে তাকে লালন পালন করবে। অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে তোমার মাতার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, যাতে তার চক্ষু শীতল হয় এবং দুঃখ না পায়। তুমি এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছিলে, অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে এই দুশ্চিন্তা থেকে মুক্তি দেই; আমি তোমাকে অনেক পরীক্ষা করেছি। অতঃপর তুমি কয়েক বছর মাদইয়ান বাসীদের মধ্যে অবস্থান করেছিলে; হে মূসা, অতঃপর তুমি নির্ধারিত সময়ে এসেছ।
"Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses!		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
43 এবং যারা আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্যের এবাদত করে না, আল্লাহ যার হত্যা অবৈধ করেছেন, সঙ্গত কারণ ব্যতীত তাকে হত্যা করে না এবং ব্যভিচার করে না। যারা একাজ করে, তারা শাস্তির সম্মুখীন হবে।
Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
44 আমার বিরুদ্ধে তাদের অভিযোগ আছে। অতএব আমি আশংকা করি যে, তারা আমাকে হত্যা করবে।
"And (further), they have a charge of crime against me; and I fear they may slay me."		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
45 আমি অবশ্যই তাকে কঠোর শাস্তি দেব কিংবা হত্যা করব অথবা সে উপস্থিত করবে উপযুক্ত কারণ।
"I will certainly punish him with a severe penalty, or execute him, unless he bring me a clear reason (for absence)."		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
46 তারা বলল, তোমরা পরস্পরে আল্লাহর নামে শপথ গ্রহণ কর যে, আমরা রাত্রিকালে তাকে ও তার পরিবারবর্গকে হত্যা করব। অতঃপর তার দাবীদারকে বলে দেব যে, তার পরিবারবর্গের হত্যাকান্ড আমরা প্রত্যক্ষ করিনি। আমরা নিশ্চয়ই সত্যবাদী।
They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): 'We were not present at the slaughter of his people, and we are positively telling the truth.'"		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
47 ফেরাউন তার দেশে উদ্ধত হয়েছিল এবং সে দেশবাসীকে বিভিন্ন দলে বিভক্ত করে তাদের একটি দলকে দূর্বল করে দিয়েছিল। সে তাদের পুত্র-সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা করত এবং নারীদেরকে জীবিত রাখত। নিশ্চয় সে ছিল অনর্থ সৃষ্টিকারী।
Truly Pharaoh elated himself in the land and broke up its people into sections, depressing a small group among them: their sons he slew, but he kept alive their females: for he was indeed a maker of mischief.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
48 ফেরাউনের স্ত্রী বলল, এ শিশু আমার ও তোমার নয়নমণি, তাকে হত্যা করো না। এ আমাদের উপকারে আসতে পারে অথবা আমরা তাকে পুত্র করে নিতে পারি। প্রকৃতপক্ষে পরিণাম সম্পর্কে তাদের কোন খবর ছিল না।
The wife of Pharaoh said: "(Here is) joy of the eye, for me and for thee: slay him not. It may be that he will be use to us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not (what they were doing)!		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
49 অতঃপর মূসা যখন উভয়ের শত্রুকে শায়েস্তা করতে চাইলেন, তখন সে বলল, গতকল্য তুমি যেমন এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছিলে, সে রকম আমাকেও কি হত্যা করতে চাও? তুমি তো পৃথিবীতে স্বৈরাচারী হতে চাচ্ছ এবং সন্ধি স্থাপনকারী হতে চাও না।
Then, when he decided to lay hold of the man who was an enemy to both of them, that man said: "O Moses! Is it thy intention to slay me as thou slewest a man yesterday? Thy intention is none other than to become a powerful violent man in the land, and not to be one who sets things right!"		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
50 এসময় শহরের প্রান্ত থেকে একব্যক্তি ছুটে আসল এবং বলল, হে মূসা, রাজ্যের পরিষদবর্গ তোমাকে হত্যা করার পরমর্শ করছে। অতএব, তুমি বের হয়ে যাও। আমি তোমার হিতাকাঙ্ক্ষী।
And there came a man, running, from the furthest end of the City. He said: "O Moses! the Chiefs are taking counsel together about thee, to slay thee: so get thee away, for I do give thee sincere advice."		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
51 মূসা বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমি তাদের এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছি। কাজেই আমি ভয় করছি যে, তারা আমাকে হত্যা করবে।
He said: "O my Lord! I have slain a man among them, and I fear lest they slay me.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
52 তখন ইব্রাহীমের সম্প্রদায়ের এছাড়া কোন জওয়াব ছিল না যে তারা বলল, তাকে হত্যা কর অথবা অগ্নিদগ্ধ কর। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে অগ্নি থেকে রক্ষা করলেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসী লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।
So naught was the answer of (Abraham's) people except that they said: "Slay him or burn him." But Allah did save him from the Fire. Verily in this are Signs for people who believe.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
53 বলুন! তোমরা যদি মৃত্যু অথবা হত্যা থেকে পলায়ন কর, তবে এ পলায়ন তোমাদের কাজে আসবে না। তখন তোমাদেরকে সামান্যই ভোগ করতে দেয়া হবে।
Say: "Running away will not profit you if ye are running away from death or slaughter; and even if (ye do escape), no more than a brief (respite) will ye be allowed to enjoy!"		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
54 কিতাবীদের মধ্যে যারা কাফেরদের পৃষ্টপোষকতা করেছিল, তাদেরকে তিনি তাদের দূর্গ থেকে নামিয়ে দিলেন এবং তাদের অন্তরে ভীতি নিক্ষেপ করলেন। ফলে তোমরা একদলকে হত্যা করছ এবং একদলকে বন্দী করছ।
And those of the People of the Book who aided them - Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts. (So that) some ye slew, and some ye made prisoners.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
55 তারা বলল, আমরা তোমাদেরকে অশুভ-অকল্যাণকর দেখছি। যদি তোমরা বিরত না হও, তবে অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে প্রস্তর বর্ষণে হত্যা করব এবং আমাদের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি স্পর্শ করবে।
The (people) said: "for us, we augur an evil omen from you: if ye desist not, we will certainly stone you. And a grievous punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us."		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
56 অতঃপর মূসা যখন আমার কাছ থেকে সত্যসহ তাদের কাছে পৌঁছাল; তখন তারা বলল, যারা তার সঙ্গী হয়ে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে, তাদের পুত্র সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা কর, আর তাদের নারীদেরকে জীবিত রাখ। কাফেরদের চক্রান্ত ব্যর্থই হয়েছে।
Now, when he came to them in Truth, from Us, they said, "Slay the sons of those who believe with him, and keep alive their females," but the plots of Unbelievers (end) in nothing but errors (and delusions)!...		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
57 ফেরাউন বলল; তোমরা আমাকে ছাড়, মূসাকে হত্যা করতে দাও, ডাকুক সে তার পালনকর্তাকে! আমি আশংকা করি যে, সে তোমাদের ধর্ম পরিবর্তন করে দেবে অথবা সে দেশময় বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করবে।
Said Pharaoh: "Leave me to slay Moses; and let him call on his Lord! What I fear is lest he should change your religion, or lest he should cause mischief to appear in the land!"		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
58 ফেরাউন গোত্রের এক মুমিন ব্যক্তি, যে তার ঈমান গোপন রাখত, সে বলল, তোমরা কি একজনকে এজন্যে হত্যা করবে যে, সে বলে, আমার পালনকর্তা আল্লাহ, অথচ সে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার নিকট থেকে স্পষ্ট প্রমাণসহ তোমাদের নিকট আগমন করেছে? যদি সে মিথ্যাবাদী হয়, তবে তার মিথ্যাবাদিতা তার উপরই চাপবে, আর যদি সে সত্যবাদী হয়, তবে সে যে শাস্তির কথা বলছে, তার কিছু না কিছু তোমাদের উপর পড়বেই। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সীমালংঘনকারী, মিথ্যাবাদীকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
A believer, a man from among the people of Pharaoh, who had concealed his faith, said: "Will ye slay a man because he says, 'My Lord is Allah'?- when he has indeed come to you with Clear (Signs) from your Lord? and if he be a liar, on him is (the sin of) his lie: but, if he is telling the Truth, then will fall on you something of the (calamity) of which he warns you: Truly Allah guides not one who transgresses and lies!		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
59 তোমরা যাতে আমাকে প্রস্তরবর্ষণে হত্যা না কর, তজ্জন্যে আমি আমার পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তার শরনাপন্ন হয়েছি।
"For me, I have sought safety with my Lord and your Lord, against your injuring me.		 (আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
60 হে নবী, ঈমানদার নারীরা যখন আপনার কাছে এসে আনুগত্যের শপথ করে যে, তারা আল্লাহর সাথে কাউকে শরীক করবে না, চুরি করবে না, ব্যভিচার করবে না, তাদের সন্তানদেরকে হত্যা করবে না, জারজ সন্তানকে স্বামীর ঔরস থেকে আপন গর্ভজাত সন্তান বলে মিথ্যা দাবী করবে না এবং ভাল কাজে আপনার অবাধ্যতা করবে না, তখন তাদের আনুগত্য গ্রহণ করুন এবং তাদের জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করুন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল অত্যন্ত দয়ালু।
O Prophet! When believing women come to thee to take the oath of fealty to thee, that they will not associate in worship any other thing whatever with Allah, that they will not steal, that they will not commit adultery (or fornication), that they will not kill their children, that they will not utter slander, intentionally forging falsehood, and that they will not disobey thee in any just matter,- then do thou receive their fealty, and pray to Allah for the forgiveness (of their sins): for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল মুমতাহিনা:
