| 1 | যদি কেউ ওসীয়তকারীর পক্ষ থেকে আশংকা করে পক্ষপাতিত্বের অথবা কোন অপরাধমূলক সিদ্ধান্তের এবং তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করে দেয়, তবে তার কোন গোনাহ হবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল, অতি দয়ালু। But if anyone fears partiality or wrong-doing on the part of the testator, and makes peace between (The parties concerned), there is no wrong in him: For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

| 2 | তারা যখন পিতার কথামত প্রবেশ করল, তখন আল্লাহর বিধানের বিরুদ্ধে তা তাদের বাঁচাতে পারল না। কিন্তু ইয়াকুবের সিদ্ধান্তে তাঁর মনের একটি বাসনা ছিল, যা তিনি পূর্ণ করেছেন। এবং তিনি তো আমার শেখানো বিষয় অবগত ছিলেন। কিন্তু অনেক মানুষ অবগত নয়। And when they entered in the manner their father had enjoined, it did not profit them in the least against (the plan of) Allah: It was but a necessity of Jacob's soul, which he discharged. For he was, by our instruction, full of knowledge (and experience): but most men know not. |
