| 1 | বললেনঃ আমি তোমার সম্প্রদায়কে পরীক্ষা করেছি তোমার পর এবং সামেরী তাদেরকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে। (Allah) said: "We have tested thy people in thy absence: the Samiri has led them astray." |

| 2 | তারা বললঃ আমরা তোমার সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা স্বেচ্ছায় ভঙ্গ করিনি; কিন্তু আমাদের উপর ফেরউনীদের অলংকারের বোঝা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছিল। অতঃপর আমরা তা নিক্ষেপ করে দিয়েছি। এমনি ভাবে সামেরীও নিক্ষেপ করেছে। They said: "We broke not the promise to thee, as far as lay in our power: but we were made to carry the weight of the ornaments of the (whole) people, and we threw them (into the fire), and that was what the Samiri suggested. |
