| 2 | তার সম্প্রদায়ের দাম্ভিক সর্দাররা ঈমানদার দারিদ্রদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করলঃ তোমরা কি বিশ্বাস কর যে সালেহ কে তার পালনকর্তা প্রেরণ করেছেন; তারা বলল আমরা তো তার আনীত বিষয়ের প্রতি বিশ্বাসী। The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless - those among them who believed: "know ye indeed that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?" They said: "We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him." |

| 3 | তার সম্প্রদায়ের দাম্ভিক সর্দাররা বললঃ হে শোয়ায়েব, আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাকে এবং তোমার সাথে বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারীদেরকে শহর থেকে বের করে দেব অথবা তোমরা আমাদের ধর্মে প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে। শোয়ায়েব বললঃ আমরা অপছন্দ করলেও কি ? The leaders, the arrogant party among his people, said: "O Shu'aib! we shall certainly drive thee out of our city - (thee) and those who believe with thee; or else ye (thou and they) shall have to return to our ways and religion." He said: "What! even though we do detest (them)? |

| 4 | তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাফের সর্দাররা বললঃ যদি তোমরা শোয়ায়েবের অনুসরণ কর, তবে নিশ্চিতই ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে। The leaders, the unbelievers among his people, said: "If ye follow Shu'aib, be sure then ye are ruined!" |
