| 1 | ফেরাউনের সম্প্রদায়ের র্সদাররা বলল, তুমি কি এমনি ছেড়ে দেবে মূসা ও তার সম্প্রদায়কে। দেশময় হৈ-চৈ করার জন্য এবং তোমাকে ও তোমার দেব-দেবীকে বাতিল করে দেবার জন্য। সে বলল, আমি এখনি হত্যা করব তাদের পুত্র সন্তানদিগকে; আর জীবিত রাখব মেয়েদেরকে। বস্তুতঃ আমরা তাদের উপর প্রবল। Said the chiefs of Pharaoh's people: "Wilt thou leave Moses and his people, to spread mischief in the land, and to abandon thee and thy gods?" He said: "Their male children will we slay; (only) their females will we save alive; and we have over them (power) irresistible." |

| 2 | অবশ্য তোমাদের পূর্বে বহু দলকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি, তখন তারা জালেম হয়ে গেছে। অথচ রসূল তাদের কাছেও এসব বিষয়ের প্রকৃষ্ট নির্দেশ নিয়ে এসেছিলেন। কিন্তু কিছুতেই তারা ঈমান আনল না। এমনিভাবে আমি শাস্তি দিয়ে থাকি পাপি সম্প্রদায়কে। Generations before you We destroyed when they did wrong: their messengers came to them with clear-signs, but they would not believe! thus do We requite those who sin! |
