| 1 | বল, তোমাদের নিকট যদি তোমাদের পিতা তোমাদের সন্তান, তোমাদের ভাই তোমাদের পত্নী, তোমাদের গোত্র তোমাদের অর্জিত ধন-সম্পদ, তোমাদের ব্যবসা যা বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়ার ভয় কর এবং তোমাদের বাসস্থান-যাকে তোমরা পছন্দ কর-আল্লাহ, তাঁর রসূল ও তাঁর রাহে জেহাদ করা থেকে অধিক প্রিয় হয়, তবে অপেক্ষা কর, আল্লাহর বিধান আসা পর্যন্ত, আর আল্লাহ ফাসেক সম্প্রদায়কে হেদায়েত করেন না। Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight - are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious. |

| 2 | তোমরা তাদের সন্তান, যাদেরকে আমি নূহের সাথে সওয়ার করিয়েছিলাম। নিশ্চয় সে ছিল কৃতজ্ঞ বান্দা। O ye that are sprung from those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Noah! Verily he was a devotee most grateful. |
