নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	মনে রেখো, তারাই হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টিকারী, কিন্তু তারা তা উপলব্ধি করে না। Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realise (it) not.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১২)
2	আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, অন্যান্যরা যেভাবে ঈমান এনেছে তোমরাও সেভাবে ঈমান আন, তখন তারা বলে, আমরাও কি ঈমান আনব বোকাদেরই মত! মনে রেখো, প্রকৃতপক্ষে তারাই বোকা, কিন্তু তারা তা বোঝে না। When it is said to them: "Believe as the others believe:" They say: "Shall we believe as the fools believe?" Nay, of a surety they are the fools, but they do not know.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৩)
3	আর আমি যখন তোমাদের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলাম এবং তুর পর্বতকে তোমাদের মাথার উপর তুলে ধরেছিলাম এই বলে যে, তোমাদিগকে যে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাকে ধর সুদৃঢ়ভাবে এবং এতে যা কিছু রয়েছে তা মনে রেখো যাতে তোমরা ভয় কর। And remember We took your covenant and We raised above you (The towering height) of Mount (Sinai): (Saying): "Hold firmly to what We have given you and bring (ever) to remembrance what is therein: Perchance ye may fear Allah."	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
4	অতঃপর তোমাদের মাঝে পরিস্কার নির্দেশ এসে গেছে বলে জানার পরেও যদি তোমরা পদস্খলিত হও, তাহলে নিশ্চিত জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহ, পরাক্রমশালী, বিজ্ঞ। If ye backslide after the clear (Signs) have come to you, then know that Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২০৯)
5	আর যখন তোমরা স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিয়ে দাও, অতঃপর তারা নির্ধারিত ইদ্দত সমাপ্ত করে নেয়, তখন তোমরা নিয়ম অনুযায়ী তাদেরকে রেখে দাও অথবা সহানুভুতির সাথে তাদেরকে মুক্ত করে দাও। আর তোমরা তাদেরকে জ্বালাতন ও বাড়াবাড়ি করার উদ্দেশ্যে আটকে রেখো না। আর যারা এমন করবে, নিশ্চয়ই তারা নিজেদেরই ক্ষতি করবে। আর আল্লাহর নির্দেশকে হাস্যকর বিষয়ে পরিণত করো না। আল্লাহর সে অনুগ্রহের কথা স্মরণ কর, যা তোমাদের উপর রয়েছে এবং তাও স্মরণ কর, যে কিতাব ও জ্ঞানের কথা তোমাদের উপর নাযিল করা হয়েছে যার দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে উপদেশ দান করা হয়। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রাখ যে, আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়েই জ্ঞানময়। When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), either take them back on equitable terms or set them free on equitable terms; but do not take them back to injure them, (or) to take undue advantage; if any one does that; He wrongs his own soul. Do not treat Allah's Signs as a jest, but solemnly rehearse Allah's favours on you, and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom, for your instruction. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is well acquainted with all things.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৩১)
6	আর সন্তানবতী নারীরা তাদের সন্তানদেরকে পূর্ন দু’বছর দুধ খাওয়াবে, যদি দুধ খাওয়াবার পূর্ণ মেয়াদ সমাপ্ত করতে চায়। আর সন্তানের অধিকারী অর্থাৎ, পিতার উপর হলো সে সমস্ত নারীর খোর-পোষের দায়িত্ব প্রচলিত নিয়ম অনুযায়ী। কাউকে তার সামর্থাতিরিক্ত চাপের সম্মুখীন করা হয় না। আর মাকে তার সন্তানের জন্য ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করা যাবে না। এবং যার সন্তান তাকেও তার সন্তানের কারণে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন করা যাবে না। আর ওয়ারিসদের উপরও দায়িত্ব এই। তারপর যদি পিতা-মাতা ইচ্ছা করে, তাহলে দু’বছরের ভিতরেই নিজেদের পারস্পরিক পরামর্শক্রমে দুধ ছাড়িয়ে দিতে পারে, তাতে তাদের কোন পাপ নেই, আর যদি তোমরা কোন ধাত্রীর দ্বারা নিজের সন্তানদেরকে দুধ খাওয়াতে চাও, তাহলে যদি তোমরা সাব্যস্তকৃত প্রচলিত বিনিময় দিয়ে দাও তাতেও কোন পাপ নেই। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রেখো যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের যাবতীয় কাজ অত্যন্ত ভাল করেই দেখেন। The mothers shall give such to their offspring for two whole years, if the father desires to complete the term. But he shall bear the cost of their food and clothing on equitable terms. No soul shall have a burden laid on it greater than it can bear. No mother shall be Treated unfairly on account of her child. Nor father on account of his child, an heir shall be chargeable in the same way. If they both decide on weaning, by mutual consent, and after due consultation, there is no blame on them. If ye decide on a foster-mother for your offspring, there is no blame on you, provided ye pay (the mother) what ye offered, on equitable terms. But fear Allah and know that Allah sees well what ye do.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৩৩)
7	আর যদি তোমরা আকার ইঙ্গিতে সে নারীর বিয়ের পয়গাম দাও, কিংবা নিজেদের মনে গোপন রাখ, তবে তাতেও তোমাদের কোন পাপ নেই, আল্লাহ জানেন যে, তোমরা অবশ্যই সে নারীদের কথা উল্লেখ করবে। কিন্তু তাদের সাথে বিয়ে করার গোপন প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়ে রেখো না। অবশ্য শরীয়তের নির্ধারিত প্রথা অনুযায়ী কোন কথা সাব্যস্ত করে নেবে। আর নির্ধারিত ইদ্দত সমাপ্তি পর্যায়ে না যাওয়া অবধি বিয়ে করার কোন ইচ্ছা করো না। আর একথা জেনে রেখো যে, তোমাদের মনে যে কথা রয়েছে, আল্লাহর তা জানা আছে। কাজেই তাঁকে ভয় করতে থাক। আর জেনে রেখো যে, আল্লাহ ক্ষমাকারী ও ধৈর্য্যশীল। There is no blame on you if ye make an offer of betrothal or hold it in your hearts. Allah knows that ye cherish them in your hearts: But do not make a secret contract with them except in terms Honourable, nor resolve on the tie of marriage till the term prescribed is fulfilled. And know that Allah Knoweth what is in your hearts, and take heed of Him; and know that Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৩৫)
8	হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা স্বীয় উপার্জন থেকে এবং যা আমি তোমাদের জন্যে ভূমি থেকে উৎপন্ন করেছি, তা থেকে উৎকৃষ্ট বস্তু ব্যয় কর এবং তা থেকে নিকৃষ্ট জিনিস ব্যয় করতে মনস্থ করো না। কেননা, তা তোমরা কখনও গ্রহণ করবে না; তবে যদি তোমরা চোখ বন্ধ করে নিয়ে নাও। জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহ অভাব মুক্ত, প্রশংসিত। O ye who believe! Give of the good things which ye have (honourably) earned, and of the fruits of the earth which We have produced for you, and do not even aim at getting anything which is bad, in order that out of it ye may give away something, when ye yourselves would not receive it except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of all wants, and worthy of all praise.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৬৭)
9	হে ঈমাণদারগণ! বলপূর্বক নারীদেরকে উত্তরাধিকারে গ্রহন করা তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল নয় এবং তাদেরকে আটক রেখো না যাতে তোমরা তাদেরকে যা প্রদান করেছ তার কিয়দংশ নিয়ে নাও; কিন্তু তারা যদি কোন প্রকাশ্য অশ্লীলতা করে! নারীদের সাথে সদ্ভাবে জীবন-যাপন কর। অতঃপর যদি তাদেরকে অপছন্দ কর, তবে হয়ত তোমরা এমন এক জিনিসকে অপছন্দ করছ, যাতে আল্লাহ, অনেক কল্যাণ রেখেছেন। O ye who believe! Ye are forbidden to inherit women against their will. Nor should ye treat them with harshness, that ye may Take away part of the dower ye have given them,-except where they have been guilty of open lewdness; on the contrary live with them on a footing of kindness and equity. If ye take a dislike to them it may be that ye dislike a thing, and Allah brings about through it a great deal of good.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১৯)
10	হে, মুমিনগণ, তোমাদের মধ্যে যখন কারও মৃত্যু উপস্থিত হয়, তখন ওছিয়ত করার সময় তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে ধর্মপরায়ন দুজনকে সাক্ষী রেখো। তোমরা সফরে থাকলে এবং সে অবস্থায় তোমাদের মৃত্যু উপস্থিত হলে তোমরা তোমাদের ছাড়াও দু ব্যক্তিকে সাক্ষী রেখো। যদি তোমাদের সন্দেহ হয়, তবে উভয়কে নামাযের পর থাকতে বলবে। অতঃপর উভয়েই আল্লাহর নামে কসম খাবে যে, আমরা এ কসমের বিনিময়ে কোন উপকার গ্রহণ করতে চাই না, যদিও কোন আত্নীয়ও হয় এবং আল্লাহর সাক্ষ্য আমরা গোপন করব না। এমতাবস্থায় কঠোর গোনাহগার হব। O ye who believe! When death approaches any of you, (take) witnesses among yourselves when making bequests,- two just men of your own (brotherhood) or others from outside if ye are journeying through the earth, and the chance of death befalls you (thus). If ye doubt (their truth), detain them both after prayer, and let them both swear by Allah: "We wish not in this for any worldly gain, even though the (beneficiary) be our near relation: we shall hide not the evidence before Allah: if we do, then behold! the sin be upon us!"	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ১০৬)
11	আর যখন আমি তুলে ধরলাম পাহাড়কে তাদের উপরে সামিয়ানার মত এবং তারা ভয় করতে লাগল যে, সেটি তাদের উপর পড়বে, তখন আমি বললাম, ধর, যা আমি তোমাদের দিয়েছি, দৃঢ়ভাবে এবং স্মরণ রেখো যা তাতে রয়েছে, যেন তোমরা বাঁচতে পার। When We shook the Mount over them, as if it had been a canopy, and they thought it was going to fall on them (We said): "Hold firmly to what We have given you, and bring (ever) to remembrance what is therein; perchance ye may fear Allah."	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১৭১)
12	এটাতো গেল, আর জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহ নস্যাৎ করে দেবেন কাফেরদের সমস্ত কলা-কৌশল। That, and also because Allah is He Who makes feeble the plans and stratagem of the Unbelievers.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ১৮)
13	হে ঈমানদারগণ, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের নির্দেশ মান্য কর, যখন তোমাদের সে কাজের প্রতি আহবান করা হয়, যাতে রয়েছে তোমাদের জীবন। জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহ মানুষের এবং তার অন্তরের মাঝে অন্তরায় হয়ে যান। বস্তুতঃ তোমরা সবাই তাঁরই নিকট সমবেত হবে। O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ২৪)
14	অতঃপর তোমরা পরিভ্রমণ কর এ দেশে চার মাসকাল। আর জেনে রেখো, তোমরা আল্লাহকে পরাভূত করতে পারবে না, আর নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ কাফেরদিগকে লাঞ্ছিত করে থাকেন। Go ye, then, for four months, backwards and forwards, (as ye will), throughout the land, but know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah (by your falsehood) but that Allah will cover with shame those who reject Him.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ২)
15	আর মহান হজ্বের দিনে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের পক্ষ থেকে লোকদের প্রতি ঘোষণা করে দেয়া হচ্ছে যে, আল্লাহ মুশরেকদের থেকে দায়িত্ব মুক্ত এবং তাঁর রসূলও। অবশ্য যদি তোমরা তওবা কর, তবে তা, তোমাদের জন্যেও কল্যাণকর, আর যদি মুখ ফেরাও, তবে জেনে রেখো, আল্লাহকে তোমরা পরাভূত করতে পারবে না। আর কাফেরদেরকে মর্মান্তিক শাস্তির সুসংবাদ দাও। And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger, to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then, ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৩)
16	নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর বিধান ও গননায় মাস বারটি, আসমানসমূহ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টির দিন থেকে। তন্মধ্যে চারটি সম্মানিত। এটিই সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত বিধান; সুতরাং এর মধ্যে তোমরা নিজেদের প্রতি অত্যাচার করো না। আর মুশরিকদের সাথে তোমরা যুদ্ধ কর সমবেতভাবে, যেমন তারাও তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করে যাচ্ছে সমবেতভাবে। আর মনে রেখো, আল্লাহ মুত্তাকীনদের সাথে রয়েছেন। The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
17	যদি তোমরা তাকে (রসূলকে) সাহায্য না কর, তবে মনে রেখো, আল্লাহ তার সাহায্য করেছিলেন, যখন তাকে কাফেররা বহিষ্কার করেছিল, তিনি ছিলেন দু’জনের একজন, যখন তারা গুহার মধ্যে ছিলেন। তখন তিনি আপন সঙ্গীকে বললেন বিষন্ন হয়ো না, আল্লাহ আমাদের সাথে আছেন। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তার প্রতি স্বীয় সান্তনা নাযিল করলেন এবং তাঁর সাহায্যে এমন বাহিনী পাঠালেন, যা তোমরা দেখনি। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ কাফেরদের মাথা নীচু করে দিলেন আর আল্লাহর কথাই সদা সমুন্নত এবং আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়। If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, "Have no fear, for Allah is with us": then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৪০)
18	মনে রেখো যারা আল্লাহর বন্ধু, তাদের না কোন ভয় ভীতি আছে, না তারা চিন্তান্বিত হবে। Behold! verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve;	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ৬২)
19	এবং যাকারিয়ার কথা স্মরণ করুন, যখন সে তার পালনকর্তাকে আহবান করেছিল; হে আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে একা রেখো না। তুমি তো উত্তম ওয়ারিস। And (remember) Zakariya, when he cried to his Lord: "O my Lord! leave me not without offspring, though thou art the best of inheritors."	(আম্বিয়া: আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
20	মনে রেখো নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলে যা আছে, তা আল্লাহরই। তোমরা যে অবস্থায় আছ তা তিনি জানেন। যেদিন তারা তাঁর কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে, সেদিন তিনি বলে দেবেন তারা যা করেছে। আল্লাহ প্রত্যেক বিষয়ই জানেন। Be quite sure that to Allah doth belong whatever is in the heavens and on earth. Well doth He know what ye are intent upon: and one day they will be brought back to Him, and He will tell them the truth of what they did: for Allah doth know all things.	(আন-নূর: আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
21	আর এই সম্পদ তাদের জন্যে, যারা তাদের পরে আগমন করেছে। তারা বলেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদেরকে এবং ঈমানে আগ্রহী আমাদের ভ্রাতাগণকে ক্ষমা কর এবং ঈমানদারদের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের অন্তরে কোন বিদ্বেষ রেখো না। হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আপনি দয়ালু, পরম করুণাময়। And those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us, and our brethren who came before us into the Faith, and leave not, in our hearts, rancour (or sense of injury) against those who have believed. Our Lord! Thou art indeed Full of Kindness, Most Merciful."	(আল হাশর: আয়াতঃ ১০)
22	মুমিনগণ, যখন তোমাদের কাছে ঈমানদার নারীরা হিজরত করে আগমন করে, তখন তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা কর। আল্লাহ তাদের ঈমান সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত আছেন। যদি তোমরা জান যে, তারা ঈমানদার, তবে আর তাদেরকে কাফেরদের কাছে ফেরত পাঠিও না। এরা কাফেরদের জন্যে হালাল নয় এবং কাফেররা এদের জন্যে হালাল নয়। কাফেররা যা ব্যয় করেছে, তা তাদের দিয়ে দাও। তোমরা, এই নারীদেরকে প্রাপ্য মোহরানা দিয়ে বিবাহ করলে তোমাদের অপরাধ হবে না। তোমরা কাফের নারীদের সাথে দাম্পত্য সম্পর্ক বজায় রেখো না। তোমরা যা ব্যয় করেছ, তা চেয়ে নাও এবং তারাও চেয়ে নিবে যা তারা ব্যয় করেছে। এটা আল্লাহর বিধান; তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ প্রজ্ঞাময়। O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.	(আল মুমতাহিনা: আয়াতঃ ১০)
