নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	যারা একথা খেয়াল করে যে, তাদেরকে সম্মুখীন হতে হবে স্বীয় পরওয়ারদেগারের এবং তাঁরই দিকে ফিরে যেতে হবে। Who bear in mind the certainty that they are to meet their Lord, and that they are to return to Him.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
2	তারপরেও তোমরা তা থেকে ফিরে গেছ। কাজেই আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও মেহেরবানী যদি তোমাদের উপর না থাকত, তবে অবশ্যই তোমরা ধবংস হয়ে যেতে। But ye turned back thereafter: Had it not been for the Grace and Mercy of Allah to you, ye had surely been among the lost.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
3	তারপর ঈমানদাররা আল্লাহর হুকুমে জালূতের বাহিনীকে পরাজিত করে দিল এবং দাউদ জালূতকে হত্যা করল। আর আল্লাহ দাউদকে দান করলেন রাজ্য ও অভিজ্ঞতা। আর তাকে যা চাইলেন শিখালেন। আল্লাহ যদি একজনকে অপরজনের দ্বারা প্রতিহত না করতেন, তাহলে গোটা দুনিয়া বিধ্বস্ত হয়ে যেতো। কিন্তু বিশ্ববাসীর প্রতি আল্লাহ একান্তই দয়ালু, করুণাময়। By Allah's will they routed them; and David slew Goliath; and Allah gave him power and wisdom and taught him whatever (else) He willed. And did not Allah Check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: But Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৫১)
4	মুমিনগন যেন অন্য মুমিনকে ছেড়ে কেন কাফেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ না করে। যারা এরূপ করবে আল্লাহর সাথে তাদের কেন সম্পর্ক থাকবে না। তবে যদি তোমরা তাদের পক্ষ থেকে কোন অনিষ্টের আশঙ্কা কর, তবে তাদের সাথে সাবধানতার সাথে থাকবে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাঁর সম্পর্কে তোমাদের সতর্ক করেছেন। এবং সবাই কে তাঁর কাছে ফিরে যেতে হবে। Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ২৮)
5	আল্লাহর রহমতেই আপনি তাদের জন্য কোমল হৃদয় হয়েছেন পক্ষান্তরে আপনি যদি রাগ ও কঠিন হৃদয় হতেন তাহলে তারা আপনার কাছ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে যেতো। কাজেই আপনি তাদের ক্ষমা করে দিন এবং তাদের জন্য মাগফেরাত কামনা করুন এবং কাজে কর্মে তাদের পরামর্শ করুন। অতঃপর যখন কোন কাজের সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করে ফেলেন, তখন আল্লাহ তা’আলার উপর ভরসা করুন আল্লাহ তাওয়াক্কুল কারীদের ভালবাসেন। It is part of the Mercy of Allah that thou dost deal gently with them Wert thou severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about thee: so pass over (Their faults), and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs (of moment). Then, when thou hast Taken a decision put thy trust in Allah. For Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৫৯)
6	আপনি কি তাদেরকে দেখেননি, যারা দাবী করে যে, যা আপনার প্রতি অবর্তীর্ণ হয়েছে আমরা সে বিষয়ের উপর ঈমান এনেছি এবং আপনার পূর্বে যা অবর্তীণ হয়েছে। তারা বিরোধীয় বিষয়কে শয়তানের দিকে নিয়ে যেতে চায়, অথচ তাদের প্রতি নির্দেশ হয়েছে, যাতে তারা ওকে মান্য না করে। পক্ষান্তরে শয়তান তাদেরকে প্রতারিত করে পথভ্রষ্ট করে ফেলতে চায়। Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who declare that they believe in the revelations that have come to thee and to those before thee? Their (real) wish is to resort together for judgment (in their disputes) to the Evil One, though they were ordered to reject him. But Satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the right).	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৬০)
7	যারা নিজের অনিষ্ট করে, ফেরেশতারা তাদের প্রাণ হরণ করে বলে, তোমরা কি অবস্থায় ছিলে? তারা বলেঃ এ ভূখন্ডে আমরা অসহায় ছিলাম। ফেরেশতারা বলেঃ আল্লাহর পৃথিবী কি প্রশস্ত ছিল না যে, তোমরা দেশত্যাগ করে সেখানে চলে যেতে? অতএব, এদের বাসস্থান হল জাহান্নাম এবং তা অত্যন্ত মন্দ স্থান। When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls, they say: "In what (plight) Were ye?" They reply: "Weak and oppressed Were we in the earth." They say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (From evil)?" Such men will find their abode in Hell,- What an evil refuge! -	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
8	হে মুমিনগণ, তোমরা নিজেদের চিন্তা কর। তোমরা যখন সৎপথে রয়েছ, তখন কেউ পথভ্রান্ত হলে তাতে তোমাদের কোন ক্ষতি নাই। তোমাদের সবাইকে আল্লাহর কাছে ফিরে যেতে হবে। তখন তিনি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেবেন, যা কিছু তোমরা করতে। O ye who believe! Guard your own souls: If ye follow (right) guidance, no hurt can come to you from those who stray. the goal of you all is to Allah: it is He that will show you the truth of all that ye do.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ১০৫)
9	প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়ের একটি মেয়াদ রয়েছে। যখন তাদের মেয়াদ এসে যাবে, তখন তারা না এক মুহুর্ত পিছে যেতে পারবে, আর না এগিয়ে আসতে পারবে। To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation).	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
10	তারা বলল, আমাদেরকে তো মৃত্যুর পর নিজেদের পরওয়ারদেগারের নিকট ফিরে যেতেই হবে। They said: "For us, We are but sent back unto our Lord:	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১২৫)
11	আর তাদের উপর যখন কোন আযাব পড়ে তখন বলে, হে মূসা আমাদের জন্য তোমার পরওয়ারদেগারের নিকট সে বিষয়ে দোয়া কর যা তিনি তোমার সাথে ওয়াদা করে রেখেছেন। যদি তুমি আমাদের উপর থেকে এ আযাব সরিয়ে দাও, তবে অবশ্যই আমরা ঈমান আনব তোমার উপর এবং তোমার সাথে বনী-ইসরাঈলদেরকে যেতে দেব। Every time the penalty fell on them, they said: "O Moses! on your behalf call on thy Lord in virtue of his promise to thee: If thou wilt remove the penalty from us, we shall truly believe in thee, and we shall send away the Children of Israel with thee."	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১৩৪)
12	তারপর যখন তারা এগিয়ে যেতে লাগল সে কর্মে যা থেকে তাদের বারণ করা হয়েছিল, তখন আমি নির্দেশ দিলাম যে, তোমরা লাঞ্ছিত বানর হয়ে যাও। When in their insolence they transgressed (all) prohibitions, We said to them: "Be ye apes, despised and rejected."	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১৬৬)
13	আর তাদের মধ্যে এমন কি বিষয় রয়েছে, যার ফলে আল্লাহ তাদের উপর আযাব দান করবেন না। অথচ তারা মসজিদে-হারামে যেতে বাধাদান করে, অথচ তাদের সে অধিকার নেই। এর অধিকার তো তাদেরই রয়েছে যারা পরহেযগার। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই সে বিষয়ে অবহিত নয়। But what plea have they that Allah should not punish them, when they keep out (men) from the sacred Mosque - and they are not its guardians? No men can be its guardians except the righteous; but most of them do not understand.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
14	আর যখন নাযিল হয় কোন সূরা যে, তোমরা ঈমান আন আল্লাহর উপর, তাঁর রসূলের সাথে একাত্ন হয়ে; তখন বিদায় কামনা করে তাদের সামর্থ?476;ান লোকেরা এবং বলে আমাদের অব্যাহতি দিন, যাতে আমরা (নিস্ক্রিয়ভাবে) বসে থাকা লোকদের সাথে থেকে যেতে পারি। When a Sura comes down, enjoining them to believe in Allah and to strive and fight along with His Messenger, those with wealth and influence among them ask thee for exemption, and say: "Leave us (behind): we would be with those who sit (at home)."	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
15	তারা পেছনে পড়ে থাকা লোকদের সাথে থেকে যেতে পেরে আনন্দিত হয়েছে এবং মোহর এঁটে দেয়া হয়েছে তাদের অন্তরসমূহের উপর। বস্তুতঃ তারা বোঝে না। They prefer to be with (the women), who remain behind (at home): their hearts are sealed and so they understand not.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
16	তাঁর কাছেই ফিরে যেতে হবে তোমাদের সবাইকে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, তিনিই সৃষ্টি করেন প্রথমবার আবার পুনর্বার তৈরী করবেন তাদেরকে বদলা দেয়ার জন্য যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং নেক কাজ করেছে ইনসাফের সাথে। আর যারা কাফের হয়েছে, তাদের পান করতে হবে ফুটন্ত পানি এবং ভোগ করতে হবে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক আযাব এ জন্যে যে, তারা কুফরী করছিল। To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him.	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ৪)
17	সেখানে প্রত্যেকে যাচাই করে নিতে পারবে যা কিছু সে ইতিপূর্বে করেছিল এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি প্রত্যাবর্তন করবে যিনি তাদের প্রকৃত মালিক, আর তাদের কাছ থেকে দূরে যেতে থাকবে যারা মিথ্যা বলত। There will every soul prove (the fruits of) the deeds it sent before: they will be brought back to Allah their rightful Lord, and their invented falsehoods will leave them in the lurch.	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ৩০)
18	তারা বলল, তুমি কি আমাদেরকে সে পথ থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে এসেছ যাতে আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের বাপ-দাদাদেরকে? আর যাতে তোমরা দুইজন এদেশের সর্দারী পেয়ে যেতে পার? আমরা তোমাদেরকে কিছুতেই মানব না। They said: "Hast thou come to us to turn us away from the ways we found our fathers following,- in order that thou and thy brother may have greatness in the land? But not we shall believe in you!"	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
19	আল্লাহর সান্নিধ্যেই তোমাদেরকে ফিরে যেতে হবে। আর তিনি সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান। 'To Allah is your return, and He hath power over all things.'"	(হুদ: আয়াতঃ ৪)
20	আর আমি তোমাদের নসীহত করতে চাইলেও তা তোমাদের জন্য ফলপ্রসূ হবে না, যদি আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে গোমরাহ করতে চান; তিনিই তোমাদের পালনকর্তা এবং তাঁর কাছেই তোমাদের ফিরে যেতে হবে। "Of no profit will be my counsel to you, much as I desire to give you (good) counsel, if it be that Allah willeth to leave you astray: He is your Lord! and to Him will ye return!"	(হুদ: আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
21	এমনকি যখন পয়গম্বরগণ নৈরাশ্যে পতিত হয়ে যেতেন, এমনকি এরূপ ধারণা করতে শুরু করতেন যে, তাদের অনুমান বুঝি মিথ্যায় পরিণত হওয়ার উপক্রম হয়েছিল, তখন তাদের কাছে আমার সাহায্য পৌছে। অতঃপর আমি যাদের চেয়েছি তারা উদ্ধার পেয়েছে। আমার শাস্তি অপরাধী সম্প্রদায় থেকে প্রতিহত হয় না। (Respite will be granted) until, when the messengers give up hope (of their people) and (come to) think that they were treated as liars, there reaches them Our help, and those whom We will are delivered into safety. But never will be warded off our punishment from those who are in sin.	(ইউসূফ: আয়াতঃ ১১০)
22	এবং তারা আল্লাহর জন্যে সমকক্ষ স্থির করেছে, যাতে তারা তার পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত করে দেয়। বলুনঃ মজা উপভোগ করে নাও। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে অগ্নির দিকেই ফিরে যেতে হবে। And they set up (idols) as equal to Allah, to mislead (men) from the Path! Say: "Enjoy (your brief power)! But verily ye are making straightway for Hell!"	(ইব্রাহীম: আয়াতঃ ৩০)
23	মানুষকে ঐ দিনের ভয় প্রদর্শন করুন, যেদিন তাদের কাছে আযাব আসবে। তখন জালেমরা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদেরকে সামান্য মেয়াদ পর্যন্ত সময় দিন, যাতে আমরা আপনার আহবানে সাড়া দিতে এবং পয়গম্বরগণের অনুসরণ করতে পারি। তোমরা কি ইতোপূর্বে কসম খেতে না যে, তোমাদেরকে দুনিয়া থেকে যেতে হবে না? So warn mankind of the Day when the Wrath will reach them: then will the wrong-doers say: "Our Lord! respite us (if only) for a short term: we will answer Thy call, and follow the messengers!" "What! were ye not wont to swear aforetime that ye should suffer no decline?	(ইব্রাহীম: আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
24	অবশেষে তিনি যখন সুর্যের অস্তাচলে পৌছলেন; তখন তিনি সুর্যকে এক পঙ্কিল জলাশয়ে অস্ত যেতে দেখলেন এবং তিনি সেখানে এক সম্প্রদায়কে দেখতে পেলেন। আমি বললাম, হে যুলকারনাইন! আপনি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে পারেন অথবা তাদেরকে সদয়ভাবে গ্রহণ করতে পারেন। Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."	(কাহফ: আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
25	অতএব তোমরা তার কাছে যাও এবং বলঃ আমরা উভয়েই তোমার পালনকর্তার প্রেরিত রসূল, অতএব আমাদের সাথে বনী ইসরাঈলকে যেতে দাও এবং তাদেরকে নিপীড়ন করো না। আমরা তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে নিদর্শন নিয়ে তোমার কাছে আগমন করেছি। এবং যে সৎপথ অনুসরণ করে, তার প্রতি শান্তি। "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance!	(ত্বোয়া-হা: আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
26	কোন সম্প্রদায় তার নির্দিষ্ট কালের অগ্রে যেতে পারে না। এবং পশ্চাতেও থকাতে পারে না। No people can hasten their term, nor can they delay (it).	(আল মু'মিনূন: আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
27	অহংকার করে এ বিষয়ে অর্থহীন গল্প-গুজব করে যেতে। "In arrogance: talking nonsense about the (Qur'an), like one telling fables by night."	(আল মু'মিনূন: আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
28	যাতে তুমি বনী-ইসরাঈলকে আমাদের সাথে যেতে দাও। "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'"	(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ১৭)
29	তিনি মূসার ভগিণীকে বললেন, তার পেছন পেছন যাও। সে তাদের অজ্ঞাতসারে অপরিচিতা হয়ে তাকে দেখে যেতে লাগল। And she said to the sister of (Moses), "Follow him" so she (the sister) watched him in the character of a stranger. And they knew not.	(আল কাসাস: আয়াতঃ ১১)
30	আমি যদি এমন বায়ু প্রেরণ করি যার ফলে তারা শস্যকে হলদে হয়ে যেতে দেখে, তখন তো তারা অবশ্যই অকৃতজ্ঞ হয়ে যায়। And if We (but) send a Wind from which they see (their tilth) turn yellow,- behold, they become, thereafter, Ungrateful (Unbelievers)!	(আর-রূম: আয়াতঃ ৫১)
31	তখন তারা ওছিয়ত করতেও সক্ষম হবে না। এবং তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের কাছেও ফিরে যেতে পারবে না। No (chance) will they then have, by will, to dispose (of their affairs), nor to return to their own people!	(ইয়াসীন: আয়াতঃ ৫০)
32	আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদেরকে স্ব স্ব স্থানে আকার বিকৃত করতে পারতাম, ফলে তারা আগেও চলতে পারত না এবং পেছনেও ফিরে যেতে পারত না। And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error).	(ইয়াসীন: আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
33	অথবা আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করার সময় না বলে, যদি কোনরূপে একবার ফিরে যেতে পারি, তবে আমি সৎকর্মপরায়ণ হয়ে যাব। "Or (lest) it should say when it (actually) sees the penalty: 'If only I had another chance, I should certainly be among those who do good!'	(আল-যুমার: আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
34	তোমাদের এ বিপদ এ কারণে যে, যখন এক আল্লাহকে ডাকা হত, তখন তোমরা কাফের হয়ে যেতে যখন তার সাথে শরীককে ডাকা হত তখন তোমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করতে। এখন আদেশ তাই, যা আল্লাহ করবেন, যিনি সর্বোচ্চ, মহান। (The answer will be:) "This is because, when Allah was invoked as the Only (object of worship), ye did reject Faith, but when partners were joined to Him, ye believed! the Command is with Allah, Most High, Most Great!"	(আল-মু'মিন: আয়াতঃ ১২)
35	ফেরাউন বলল, হে হামান, তুমি আমার জন্যে একটি সুউচ্চ প্রাসাদ নির্মাণ কর, হয়তো আমি পৌঁছে যেতে পারব। Pharaoh said: "O Haman! Build me a lofty palace, that I may attain the ways and means-	(আল-মু'মিন: আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
36	আর কাফেররা মুমিনদের বলতে লাগল যে, যদি এ দ্বীন ভাল হত তবে এরা আমাদেরকে পেছনে ফেলে এগিয়ে যেতে পারত না। তারা যখন এর মাধ্যমে সুপথ পায়নি, তখন শীঘ্রই বলবে, এ তো এক পুরাতন মিথ্যা। The Unbelievers say of those who believe: "If (this Message) were a good thing, (such men) would not have gone to it first, before us!" And seeing that they guide not themselves thereby, they will say, "this is an (old,) falsehood!"	(আল আহক্বাফ: আয়াতঃ ১১)
37	তোমরা যখন যুদ্ধলব্ধ ধন-সম্পদ সংগ্রহের জন্য যাবে, তখন যারা পশ্চাতে থেকে গিয়েছিল, তারা বলবেঃ আমাদেরকেও তোমাদের সঙ্গে যেতে দাও। তারা আল্লাহর কালাম পরিবর্তন করতে চায়। বলুনঃ তোমরা কখনও আমাদের সঙ্গে যেতে পারবে না। আল্লাহ পূর্ব থেকেই এরূপ বলে দিয়েছেন। তারা বলবেঃ বরং তোমরা আমাদের প্রতি বিদ্বেষ পোষণ করছ। পরন্তু তারা সামান্যই বোঝে। Those who lagged behind (will say), when ye (are free to) march and take booty (in war): "Permit us to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say: "Not thus will ye follow us: Allah has already declared (this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such things).	(আল ফাতহ: আয়াতঃ ১৫)
