| 1 | অবশ্যই মুনাফেকরা প্রতারণা করছে আল্লাহর সাথে, অথচ তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতারিত করে। বস্তুতঃ তারা যখন নামাযে দাঁড়ায় তখন দাঁড়ায়, একান্ত শিথিল ভাবে লোক দেখানোর জন্য। আর তারা আল্লাহকে অল্পই স্মরণ করে। The Hypocrites - they think they are over-reaching Allah, but He will over-reach them: When they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen of men, but little do they hold Allah in remembrance; |

| 2 | নিঃসন্দেহে মুনাফেকরা রয়েছে দোযখের সর্বনিম্ন স্তরে। আর তোমরা তাদের জন্য কোন সাহায্যকারী কখনও পাবে না। The Hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire: no helper wilt thou find for them;- |

| 3 | মুনাফেকরা এ ব্যাপারে ভয় করে যে, মুসলমানদের উপর না এমন কোন সূরা নাযিল হয়, যাতে তাদের অন্তরের গোপন বিষয় অবহিত করা হবে। সুতরাং আপনি বলে দিন, ঠাট্টা-বিদ্রপ করতে থাক; আল্লাহ তা অবশ্যই প্রকাশ করবেন যার ব্যাপারে তোমরা ভয় করছ। The Hypocrites are afraid lest a Sura should be sent down about them, showing them what is (really passing) in their hearts. Say: "Mock ye! But verily Allah will bring to light all that ye fear (should be revealed). |

| 4 | মুনাফেক নর-নারী সবারই গতিবিধি একরকম; শিখায় মন্দ কথা, ভাল কথা থেকে বারণ করে এবং নিজ মুঠো বন্ধ রাখে। আল্লাহকে ভুলে গেছে তার, কাজেই তিনিও তাদের ভূলে গেছেন নিঃসন্দেহে মুনাফেকরাই নাফরমান। The Hypocrites, men and women, (have an understanding) with each other: They enjoin evil, and forbid what is just, and are close with their hands. They have forgotten Allah; so He hath forgotten them. Verily the Hypocrites are rebellious and perverse. |
