নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	যারা একথা খেয়াল করে যে, তাদেরকে সম্মুখীন হতে হবে স্বীয় পরওয়ারদেগারের এবং তাঁরই দিকে ফিরে যেতে হবে। Who bear in mind the certainty that they are to meet their Lord, and that they are to return to Him.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
2	আর ব্যয় কর আল্লাহর পথে, তবে নিজের জীবনকে ধ্বংসের সম্মুখীন করো না। আর মানুষের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ কর। আল্লাহ অনুগ্রহকারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন। And spend of your substance in the cause of Allah, and make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction; but do good; for Allah loveth those who do good.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৯৫)
3	আর সন্তানবতী নারীরা তাদের সন্তানদেরকে পূর্ন দু’বছর দুধ খাওয়াবে, যদি দুধ খাওয়াবার পূর্ণ মেয়াদ সমাপ্ত করতে চায়। আর সন্তানের অধিকারী অর্থাৎ, পিতার উপর হলো সে সমস্ত নারীর খোর-পোষের দায়িত্ব প্রচলিত নিয়ম অনুযায়ী। কাউকে তার সামর্থাতিরিক্ত চাপের সম্মুখীন করা হয় না। আর মাকে তার সন্তানের জন্য ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করা যাবে না। এবং যার সন্তান তাকেও তার সন্তানের কারণে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন করা যাবে না। আর ওয়ারিসদের উপরও দায়িত্ব এই। তারপর যদি পিতা-মাতা ইচ্ছা করে, তাহলে দু’বছরের ভিতরেই নিজেদের পারস্পরিক পরামর্শক্রমে দুধ ছাড়িয়ে দিতে পারে, তাতে তাদের কোন পাপ নেই, আর যদি তোমরা কোন ধাত্রীর দ্বারা নিজের সন্তানদেরকে দুধ খাওয়াতে চাও, তাহলে যদি তোমরা সাব্যস্তকৃত প্রচলিত বিনিময় দিয়ে দাও তাতেও কোন পাপ নেই। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রেখো যে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের যাবতীয় কাজ অত্যন্ত ভাল করেই দেখেন। The mothers shall give such to their offspring for two whole years, if the father desires to complete the term. But he shall bear the cost of their food and clothing on equitable terms. No soul shall have a burden laid on it greater than it can bear. No mother shall be Treated unfairly on account of her child. Nor father on account of his child, an heir shall be chargeable in the same way. If they both decide on weaning, by mutual consent, and after due consultation, there is no blame on them. If ye decide on a foster-mother for your offspring, there is no blame on you, provided ye pay (the mother) what ye offered, on equitable terms. But fear Allah and know that Allah sees well what ye do.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৩৩)
4	আর যখন তালূত ও তার সেনাবাহিনী শত্রুর সম্মুখীন হল, তখন বলল, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমাদের মনে ধৈর্য্য সৃষ্টি করে দাও এবং আমাদেরকে দৃঢ়পদ রাখ-আর আমাদের সাহায্য কর সে কাফের জাতির বিরুদ্ধে। When they advanced to meet Goliath and his forces, they prayed: "Our Lord! Pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm: Help us against those that reject faith."	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৫০)
5	হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা যদি কাফেরদের কথা শোন, তাহলে ওরা তোমাদেরকে পেছনে ফিরিয়ে দেবে, তাতে তোমরা ক্ষতির সম্মুখীণ হয়ে পড়বে। O ye who believe! If ye obey the Unbelievers, they will drive you back on your heels, and ye will turn back (from Faith) to your own loss.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৪৯)
6	আর তোমরা উপরে উঠে যাচ্ছিলে এবং পেছন দিকে ফিরে তাকাচ্ছিলে না কারো প্রতি, অথচ রসূল ডাকছিলেন তোমাদিগকে তোমাদের পেছন দিক থেকে। অতঃপর তোমাদের উপর এলো শোকের ওপরে শোক, যাতে তোমরা হাত থেকে বেরিয়ে যাওয়া বস্তুর জন্য দুঃখ না কর এবং যার সম্মুখীণ হচ্ছ সেজন্য বিমর্ষ না হও। আর আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজের ব্যাপারে অবহিত রয়েছেন। Behold! ye were climbing up the high ground, without even casting a side glance at any one, and the Messenger in your rear was calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for (the booty) that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৫৩)
7	আপনি বলুনঃ তিনিই শক্তিমান যে, তোমাদের উপর কোন শাস্তি উপর দিক থেকে অথবা তোমাদের পদতল থেকে প্রেরণ করবেন অথবা তোমাদেরকে দলে-উপদলে বিভক্ত করে সবাইকে মুখোমুখী করে দিবেন এবং এককে অন্যের উপর আক্রমণের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করাবেন। দেখ, আমি কেমন ঘুরিয়ে-ফিরিয়ে নিদর্শনাবলী বর্ণনা করি যাতে তারা বুঝে নেয়। Say: "He hath power to send calamities on you, from above and below, or to cover you with confusion in party strife, giving you a taste of mutual vengeance - each from the other." See how We explain the signs by various (symbols); that they may understand.	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
8	আমি এক মুখী হয়ে স্বীয় আনন ঐ সত্তার দিকে করেছি, যিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং আমি মুশরেক নই। "For me, I have set my face, firmly and truly, towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, and never shall I give partners to Allah."	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
9	হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা যখন কাফেরদের সাথে মুখোমুখী হবে, তখন পশ্চাদপসরণ করবে না। O ye who believe! when ye meet the Unbelievers in hostile array, never turn your backs to them.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ১৫)
10	আর জেনে রাখ, তোমাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি অকল্যাণের সম্মুখীনকারী। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহর নিকট রয়েছে মহা সওয়াব। And know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allah with Whom lies your highest reward.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ২৮)
11	আর এ কথাও জেনে রাখ যে, কোন বস্তু-সামগ্রীর মধ্য থেকে যা কিছু তোমরা গনীমত হিসাবে পাবে, তার এক পঞ্চমাংশ হল আল্লাহর জন্য, রসূলের জন্য, তাঁর নিকটাত্নীয়-স্বজনের জন্য এবং এতীম-অসহায় ও মুসাফিরদের জন্য; যদি তোমাদের বিশ্বাস থাকে আল্লাহর উপর এবং সে বিষয়ের উপর যা আমি আমার বান্দার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি ফয়সালার দিনে, যেদিন সম্মুখীন হয়ে যায় উভয় সেনাদল। আর আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপরই ক্ষমতাশীল। And know that out of all the booty that ye may acquire (in war), a fifth share is assigned to Allah,- and to the Messenger, and to near relatives, orphans, the needy, and the wayfarer,- if ye do believe in Allah and in the revelation We sent down to Our servant on the Day of Testing,- the Day of the meeting of the two forces. For Allah hath power over all things.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ৪১)
12	যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী লোকেরা তোমাদের চেয়ে বেশী ছিল শক্তিতে এবং ধন-সম্পদের ও সন্তান-সন্ততির অধিকারীও ছিল বেশী; অতঃপর উপকৃত হয়েছে নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা আবার তোমরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছ তোমাদের ভাগের দ্বারা-যেমন করে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা ফায়দা উঠিয়েছিল নিজেদের ভাগের দ্বারা। আর তোমরাও বলছ তাদেরই চলন অনুযায়ী। তারা ছিল সে লোক, যাদের আমলসমূহ নিঃশেষিত হয়ে গেছে দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে। আর তারাই হয়েছে ক্ষতির সম্মুখীন। As in the case of those before you: they were mightier than you in power, and more flourishing in wealth and children. They had their enjoyment of their portion: and ye have of yours, as did those before you; and ye indulge in idle talk as they did. They!- their work are fruitless in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will lose (all spiritual good).	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
13	আর যখন মানুষ কষ্টের সম্মুখীন হয়, শুয়ে বসে, দাঁড়িয়ে আমাকে ডাকতে থাকে। তারপর আমি যখন তা থেকে মুক্ত করে দেই, সে কষ্ট যখন চলে যায় তখন মনে হয় কখনো কোন কষ্টেরই সম্মুখীন হয়ে যেন আমাকে ডাকেইনি। এমনিভাবে মনঃপুত হয়েছে নির্ভয় লোকদের যা তারা করেছে। When trouble toucheth a man, He crieth unto Us (in all postures)- lying down on his side, or sitting, or standing. But when We have solved his trouble, he passeth on his way as if he had never cried to Us for a trouble that touched him! thus do the deeds of transgressors seem fair in their eyes!	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ১২)
14	আর আমি নির্দেশ পাঠালাম মূসা এবং তার ভাইয়ের প্রতি যে, তোমরা তোমাদের জাতির জন্য মিসরের মাটিতে বাস স্থান নির্ধারণ কর। আর তোমাদের ঘরগুলো বানাবে কেবলামুখী করে এবং নামায কায়েম কর আর যারা ঈমানদার তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দান কর। We inspired Moses and his brother with this Message: "Provide dwellings for your people in Egypt, make your dwellings into places of worship, and establish regular prayers: and give glad tidings to those who believe!"	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
15	সুতরাং তুমি যদি সে বস্তু সম্পর্কে কোন সন্দেহের সম্মুখীন হয়ে থাক যা তোমার প্রতি আমি নাযিল করেছি, তবে তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করো যারা তোমার পূর্ব থেকে কিতাব পাঠ করছে। এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই যে, তোমার পরওয়ারদেগারের নিকট থেকে তোমার নিকট সত্য বিষয় এসেছে। কাজেই তুমি কস্মিনকালেও সন্দেহকারী হয়ো না। If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt.	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
16	ইব্রাহীম (আঃ) বড়ই ধৈর্য্যশীল, কোমল অন্তর, আল্লাহমুখী সন্দেহ নেই। For Abraham was, without doubt, forbearing (of faults), compassionate, and given to look to Allah.	(হুদ: আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
17	অতঃপর যখন তারা ইউসুফের কাছে পৌঁছল তখন বললঃ হে আযীয, আমরা ও আমাদের পরিবারবর্গ কষ্টের সম্মুখীন হয়ে পড়েছি এবং আমরা অপর্যাপ্ত পুঁজি নিয়ে এসেছি। অতএব আপনি আমাদের পুরোপুরি বরাদ্দ দিন এবং আমাদের কে দান করুন। আল্লাহ দাতাদেরকে প্রতিদান দিয়ে থাকেন। Then, when they came (back) into (Joseph's) presence they said: "O exalted one! distress has seized us and our family: we have (now) brought but scanty capital: so pay us full measure, (we pray thee), and treat it as charity to us: for Allah doth reward the charitable."	(ইউসূফ: আয়াতঃ ৮৮)
18	তুমি কি তাদের কে দেখনি, যারা আল্লাহর নেয়ামতকে কুফরে পরিণত করেছে এবং স্ব-জাতিকে সম্মুখীন করেছে ধ্বংসের আলয়ে। Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favour of Allah. Into blasphemy and caused their people to descend to the House of Perdition?-	(ইব্রাহীম: আয়াতঃ ২৮)
19	আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের জ্যোতি, তাঁর জ্যোতির উদাহরণ যেন একটি কুলঙ্গি, যাতে আছে একটি প্রদীপ, প্রদীপটি একটি কাঁচপাত্রে স্থাপিত, কাঁচপাত্রটি উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্র সদৃশ্য। তাতে পুতঃপবিত্র যয়তুন বৃক্ষের তৈল প্রজ্বলিত হয়, যা পূর্বমুখী নয় এবং পশ্চিমমুখীও নয়। অগ্নি স্পর্শ না করলেও তার তৈল যেন আলোকিত হওয়ার নিকটবর্তী। জ্যোতির উপর জ্যোতি। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ দেখান তাঁর জ্যোতির দিকে। আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্যে দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন এবং আল্লাহ সব বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত। Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.	(আন-নূর: আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
20	এবং যারা আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্যের এবাদত করে না, আল্লাহ যার হত্যা অবৈধ করেছেন, সঙ্গত কারণ ব্যতীত তাকে হত্যা করে না এবং ব্যভিচার করে না। যারা একাজ করে, তারা শাস্তির সম্মুখীন হবে। Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.	(আল-ফুরকান: আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
21	এবং যারা মিথ্যা কাজে যোগদান করে না এবং যখন অসার ক্রিয়াকর্মের সম্মুখীন হয়, তখন মান রক্ষার্থে ভদ্রভাবে চলে যায়। Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance);	(আল-ফুরকান: আয়াতঃ ৭২)
22	সবাই তাঁর অভিমুখী হও এবং ভয় কর, নামায কায়েম কর এবং মুশরিকদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ো না। Turn ye back in repentance to Him, and fear Him: establish regular prayers, and be not ye among those who join gods with Allah,-	(আর-রূম: আয়াতঃ ৩১)
23	মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন তারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে আহবান করে তাঁরই অভিমুখী হয়ে। অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাদেরকে রহমতের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করান, তখন তাদের একদল তাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে শিরক করতে থাকে, When trouble touches men, they cry to their Lord, turning back to Him in repentance: but when He gives them a taste of Mercy as from Himself, behold, some of them pay part-worship to other god's besides their Lord,-	(আর-রূম: আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
24	পিতা-মাতা যদি তোমাকে আমার সাথে এমন বিষয়কে শরীক স্থির করতে পীড়াপীড়ি করে, যার জ্ঞান তোমার নেই; তবে তুমি তাদের কথা মানবে না এবং দুনিয়াতে তাদের সাথে সদ্ভাবে সহঅবস্থান করবে। যে আমার অভিমুখী হয়, তার পথ অনুসরণ করবে। অতঃপর তোমাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন আমারই দিকে এবং তোমরা যা করতে, আমি সে বিষয়ে তোমাদেরকে জ্ঞাত করবো। "But if they strive to make thee join in worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not; yet bear them company in this life with justice (and consideration), and follow the way of those who turn to me (in love): in the end the return of you all is to Me, and I will tell you the truth (and meaning) of all that ye did."	(লোকমান: আয়াতঃ ১৫)
25	তারা কি তাদের সামনের ও পশ্চাতের আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর প্রতিলক্ষ্য করে না? আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের সহ ভূমি ধসিয়ে দেব অথবা আকাশের কোন খন্ড তাদের উপর পতিত করব। আল্লাহ অভিমুখী প্রত্যেক বান্দার জন্য এতে অবশ্যই নিদর্শন রয়েছে। See they not what is before them and behind them, of the sky and the earth? If We wished, We could cause the earth to swallow them up, or cause a piece of the sky to fall upon them. Verily in this is a Sign for every devotee that turns to Allah (in repentance).	(সাবা: আয়াতঃ ৯)
26	আমি তাদের গর্দানে চিবুক পর্যন্ত বেড়ী পরিয়েছি। ফলে তাদের মস্তক উর্দ্ধমুখী হয়ে গেছে। We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see).	(ইয়াসীন: আয়াতঃ ৮)
27	তারা বলবে, তোমাদের জন্যে ও তো অভিনন্দন নেই। তোমরাই আমাদেরকে এ বিপদের সম্মুখীন করেছ। অতএব, এটি কতই না ঘৃণ্য আবাসস্থল। (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!"	(ছোয়াদ: আয়াতঃ ৬০)
28	তারা বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, যে আমাদেরকে এর সম্মুখীন করেছে, আপনি জাহান্নামে তার শাস্তি দ্বিগুণ করে দিন। They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!"	(ছোয়াদ: আয়াতঃ ৬১)
29	যারা শয়তানী শক্তির পূজা-অর্চনা থেকে দূরে থাকে এবং আল্লাহ অভিমুখী হয়, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে সুসংবাদ। অতএব, সুসংবাদ দিন আমার বান্দাদেরকে। Those who eschew Evil,- and fall not into its worship,- and turn to Allah (in repentance),- for them is Good News: so announce the Good News to My Servants,-	(আল-যুমার: আয়াতঃ ১৭)
30	তোমরা যে বিষয়েই মতভেদ কর, তার ফয়সালা আল্লাহর কাছে সোপর্দ। ইনিই আল্লাহ আমার পালনকর্তা আমি তাঁরই উপর নির্ভর করি এবং তাঁরই অভিমুখী হই। Whatever it be wherein ye differ, the decision thereof is with Allah: such is Allah my Lord: In Him I trust, and to Him I turn.	(আশ-শুরা: আয়াতঃ ১০)
31	তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে দ্বীনের ক্ষেত্রে সে পথই নিধারিত করেছেন, যার আদেশ দিয়েছিলেন নূহকে, যা আমি প্রত্যাদেশ করেছি আপনার প্রতি এবং যার আদেশ দিয়েছিলাম ইব্রাহীম, মূসা ও ঈসাকে এই মর্মে যে, তোমরা দ্বীনকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত কর এবং তাতে অনৈক্য সৃষ্টি করো না। আপনি মূশরেকদেরকে যে বিষয়ের প্রতি আমন্ত্রণ জানান, তা তাদের কাছে দুঃসাধ্য বলে মনে হয়। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা মনোনীত করেন এবং যে তাঁর অভিমুখী হয়, তাকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন। The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah - the which We have sent by inspiration to thee - and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: Namely, that ye should remain steadfast in religion, and make no divisions therein: to those who worship other things than Allah, hard is the (way) to which thou callest them. Allah chooses to Himself those whom He pleases, and guides to Himself those who turn (to Him).	(আশ-শুরা: আয়াতঃ ১৩)
32	(অতঃপর) তারা যখন শাস্তিকে মেঘরূপে তাদের উপত্যকা অভিমুখী দেখল, তখন বলল, এ তো মেঘ, আমাদেরকে বৃষ্টি দেবে। বরং এটা সেই বস্তু, যা তোমরা তাড়াতাড়ি চেয়েছিলে। এটা বায়ু এতে রয়েছে মর্মন্তুদ শাস্তি। Then, when they saw the (Penalty in the shape of) a cloud traversing the sky, coming to meet their valleys, they said, "This cloud will give us rain!" "Nay, it is the (Calamity) ye were asking to be hastened!- A wind wherein is a Grievous Penalty!	(আল আহক্বাফ: আয়াতঃ ২৪)
33	বরং তোমরা ধারণ করেছিলে যে, রসূল ও মুমিনগণ তাদের বাড়ী-ঘরে কিছুতেই ফিরে আসতে পারবে না এবং এই ধারণা তোমাদের জন্যে খুবই সুখকর ছিল। তোমরা মন্দ ধারণার বশবর্তী হয়েছিলে। তোমরা ছিলে ধ্বংসমুখী এক সম্প্রদায়। "Nay, ye thought that the Messenger and the Believers would never return to their families; this seemed pleasing in your hearts, and ye conceived an evil thought, for ye are a people lost (in wickedness)."	(আল ফাতহ: আয়াতঃ ১২)
34	আমি জানতাম যে, আমাকে হিসাবের সম্মুখীন হতে হবে। "I did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me!"	(আল হাক্বক্বাহ: আয়াতঃ ২০)
35	অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দিন, তারা বাকবিতন্ডা ও ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করুক সেই দিবসের সম্মুখীন হওয়া পর্যন্ত, যে দিবসের ওয়াদা তাদের সাথে করা হচ্ছে। So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!-	(আল মা'আরিজ: আয়াতঃ ৪২)
