“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”

নং আয়াত সূরা
1 পার্থিব জীবনের উপর কাফেরদিগকে উম্মত্ত করে দেয়া হয়েছে। আর তারা ঈমানদারদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করে হাসাহাসি করে। পক্ষান্তরে যারা পরহেযগার তারা সেই কাফেরদের তুলনায় কেয়ামতের দিন অত্যন্ত উচ্চমর্যাদায় থাকবে। আর আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা সীমাহীন রুযী দান করেন।
The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২১২)
2 আর এই জনপদের অধিবাসীরা কি নিশ্চিন্ত হয়ে পড়েছে যে, তাদের উপর আমার আযাব দিনের বেলাতে এসে পড়বে অথচ তারা তখন থাকবে খেলা-ধুলায় মত্ত।
Or else did they feel secure against its coming in broad daylight while they played about (care-free)?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৮)
3 আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করেন। তার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নেই। আর আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের দুষ্টামীতে মত্ত অবস্তায় ছেড়ে দিয়ে রাখেন।
To such as Allah rejects from His guidance, there can be no guide: He will leave them in their trespasses, wandering in distraction.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৬)
4 আর যখন আমি আস্বাদন করাই স্বীয় রহমত সে কষ্টের পর, যা তাদের ভোগ করতে হয়েছিল, তখনই তারা আমার শক্তিমত্তার মাঝে নানা রকম ছলনা তৈরী করতে আরম্ভ করবে। আপনি বলে দিন, আল্লাহ সবচেয়ে দ্রুত কলা-কৌশল তৈরী করতে পারেন। নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের ফেরেশতারা লিখে রাখে তোমাদের ছল-চাতুরী।
When We make mankind taste of some mercy after adversity hath touched them, behold! they take to plotting against Our Signs! Say: "Swifter to plan is Allah!" Verily, Our messengers record all the plots that ye make!		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
5 কাজেই, তোমাদের পূর্ববতী জাতি গুলির মধ্যে এমন সৎকর্মশীল কেন রইল না, যারা পৃথিবীতে বিপর্যয় সৃষ্টি করতে বাধা দিত; তবে মুষ্টিমেয় লোক ছিল যাদেরকে আমি তাদের মধ্য হতে রক্ষা করেছি। আর পাপিষ্ঠরা তো ভোগ বিলাসে মত্ত ছিল যার সামগ্রী তাদেরকে যথেষ্ট দেয়া হয়েছিল। আসলে তারা ছিল মহা অপরাধী।
Why were there not, among the generations before you, persons possessed of balanced good sense, prohibiting (men) from mischief in the earth - except a few among them whom We saved (from harm)? But the wrong-doers pursued the enjoyment of the good things of life which were given them, and persisted in sin.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১৬)
6 নগরে মহিলারা বলাবলি করতে লাগল যে, আযীযের স্ত্রী স্বীয় গোলামকে কুমতলব চরিতার্থ করার জন্য ফুসলায়। সে তার প্রেমে উম্মত্ত হয়ে গেছে। আমরা তো তাকে প্রকাশ্য ভ্রান্তিতে দেখতে পাচ্ছি।
Ladies said in the City: "The wife of the (great) 'Aziz is seeking to seduce her slave from his (true) self: Truly hath he inspired her with violent love: we see she is evidently going astray."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
7 আপনার প্রাণের কসম, তারা আপন নেশায় প্রমত্ত ছিল।
Verily, by thy life (O Prophet), in their wild intoxication, they wander in distraction, to and fro.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
8 তাদের অন্তর থাকে খেলায় মত্ত। জালেমরা গোপনে পরামর্শ করে, সে তো তোমাদেরই মত একজন মানুষ; এমতাবস্থায় দেখে শুনে তোমরা তার যাদুর কবলে কেন পড়?
Their hearts toying as with trifles. The wrong-doers conceal their private counsels, (saying), "Is this (one) more than a man like yourselves? Will ye go to witchcraft with your eyes open?"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
9 পলায়ন করো না এবং ফিরে এস, যেখানে তোমরা বিলাসিতায় মত্ত ছিলে ও তোমাদের আবাসগৃহে; সম্ভবত; কেউ তোমাদের জিজ্ঞেস করবে।
Flee not, but return to the good things of this life which were given you, and to your homes in order that ye may be called to account.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
10 অথবা (তাদের কর্ম) প্রমত্ত সমুদ্রের বুকে গভীর অন্ধকারের ন্যায়, যাকে উদ্বেলিত করে তরঙ্গের উপর তরঙ্গ, যার উপরে ঘন কালো মেঘ আছে। একের উপর এক অন্ধকার। যখন সে তার হাত বের করে, তখন তাকে একেবারেই দেখতে পায় না। আল্লাহ যাকে জ্যোতি দেন না, তার কোন জ্যোতিই নেই।
Or (the Unbelievers' state) is like the depths of darkness in a vast deep ocean, overwhelmed with billow topped by billow, topped by (dark) clouds: depths of darkness, one above another: if a man stretches out his hands, he can hardly see it! for any to whom Allah giveth not light, there is no light!		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
11 আমি অনেক জনপদ ধবংস করেছি, যার অধিবাসীরা তাদের জীবন যাপনে মদমত্ত ছিল। এগুলোই এখন তাদের ঘর-বাড়ী। তাদের পর এগুলোতে মানুষ সামান্যই বসবাস করেছে। অবশেষে আমিই মালিক রয়েছি।
And how many populations We destroyed, which exulted in their life (of ease and plenty)! now those habitations of theirs, after them, are deserted,- All but a (miserable) few! and We are their heirs!		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
12 যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন, যার নিম্নদেশে নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। আর যারা কাফের, তারা ভোগ-বিলাসে মত্ত থাকে এবং চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মত আহার করে। তাদের বাসস্থান জাহান্নাম।
Verily Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode.		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
13 এবং সে নিশ্চিতই ধন-সম্পদের ভালবাসায় মত্ত।
And violent is he in his love of wealth.		 (আদিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
