| 1 | হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা স্বীয় পিতা ও ভাইদের অভিভাবকরূপে গ্রহণ করো না, যদি তারা ঈমান অপেক্ষা কুফরকে ভালবাসে। আর তোমাদের যারা তাদের অভিভাবকরূপে গ্রহণ করে তারা সীমালংঘনকারী। O ye who believe! take not for protectors your fathers and your brothers if they love infidelity above Faith: if any of you do so, they do wrong. |

| 2 | তুমি কখনো সেখানে দাড়াবে না, তবে যে মসজিদের ভিত্তি রাখা হয়েছে তাকওয়ার উপর প্রথম দিন থেকে, সেটিই তোমার দাঁড়াবার যোগ্য স্থান। সেখানে রয়েছে এমন লোক, যারা পবিত্রতাকে ভালবাসে। আর আল্লাহ পবিত্র লোকদের ভালবাসেন। Never stand thou forth therein. There is a mosque whose foundation was laid from the first day on piety; it is more worthy of the standing forth (for prayer) therein. In it are men who love to be purified; and Allah loveth those who make themselves pure. |
