| 1 | অতঃপর যখন তাকে প্রসব করলো বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আমি একে কন্যা প্রসব করেছি। বস্তুতঃ কি সে প্রসব করেছে আল্লাহ তা ভালই জানেন। সেই কন্যার মত কোন পুত্রই যে নেই। আর আমি তার নাম রাখলাম মারইয়াম। আর আমি তাকে ও তার সন্তানদেরকে তোমার আশ্রয়ে সমর্পণ করছি। অভিশপ্ত শয়তানের কবল থেকে। When she was delivered, she said: "O my Lord! Behold! I am delivered of a female child!"- and Allah knew best what she brought forth- "And no wise is the male Like the female. I have named her Mary, and I commend her and her offspring to Thy protection from the Evil One, the Rejected." |

| 2 | দেখ! তোমরাই তাদের ভালবাস, কিন্তু তারা তোমাদের প্রতি মোটেও সদভাব পোষণ করে না। আর তোমরা সমস্ত কিতাবেই বিশ্বাস কর। অথচ তারা যখন তোমাদের সাথে এসে মিশে, বলে, আমরা ঈমান এনেছি। পক্ষান্তরে তারা যখন পৃথক হয়ে যায়, তখন তোমাদের উপর রোষবশতঃ আঙ্গুল কামড়াতে থাকে। বলুন, তোমরা আক্রোশে মরতে থাক। আর আল্লাহ মনের কথা ভালই জানেন। Ah! ye are those who love them, but they love you not,- though ye believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, "We believe": But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: "Perish in your rage; Allah knoweth well all the secrets of the heart." |

| 3 | তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদের মনে যা আছে তা ভালই জানেন। যদি তোমরা সৎ হও, তবে তিনি তওবাকারীদের জন্যে ক্ষমাশীল। Your Lord knoweth best what is in your hearts: If ye do deeds of righteousness, verily He is Most Forgiving to those who turn to Him again and again (in true penitence). |
