| 1 | তাদের অন্তঃকরণ ব্যধিগ্রস্ত আর আল্লাহ তাদের ব্যধি আরো বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য নির্ধারিত রয়েছে ভয়াবহ আযাব, তাদের মিথ্যাচারের দরুন। In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves). |

| 2 | আর আমি আপনার পূর্ববর্তী উম্মতদের প্রতিও পয়গম্বর প্রেরণ করেছিলাম। অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে অভাব-অনটন ও রোগ-ব্যধি দ্বারা পাকড়াও করেছিলাম যাতে তারা কাকুতি মিনতি করে। Before thee We sent (messengers) to many nations, and We afflicted the nations with suffering and adversity, that they might learn humility. |
