নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	তারা সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা হেদায়েতের বিনিময়ে গোমরাহী খরিদ করে। বস্তুতঃ তারা তাদের এ ব্যবসায় লাভবান হতে পারেনি এবং তারা হেদায়েতও লাভ করতে পারেনি। These are they who have bartered Guidance for error: But their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction,	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৬)
2	বিদ্যুতালোকে যখন সামান্য আলোকিত হয়, তখন কিছুটা পথ চলে। আবার যখন অন্ধকার হয়ে যায়, তখন ঠাঁয় দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে। যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করেন, তাহলে তাদের শ্রবণশক্তি ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি ছিনিয়ে নিতে পারেন। আল্লাহ যাবতীয় বিষয়ের উপর সর্বময় ক্ষমতাশীল। The lightning all but snatches away their sight; every time the light (Helps) them, they walk therein, and when the darkness grows on them, they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could take away their faculty of hearing and seeing; for Allah hath power over all things.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২০)
3	আর আমি তোমাদের উপর ছায়া দান করেছি মেঘমালার দ্বারা এবং তোমাদের জন্য খাবার পাঠিয়েছি ’মান্না’ ও সালওয়া’। সেসব পবিত্র বস্তু তোমরা ভক্ষন কর, যা আমি তোমাদেরকে দান করেছি। বস্তুতঃ তারা আমার কোন ক্ষতি করতে পারেনি, বরং নিজেদেরই ক্ষতি সাধন করেছে। And We gave you the shade of clouds and sent down to you Manna and quails, saying: "Eat of the good things We have provided for you:" (But they rebelled); to us they did no harm, but they harmed their own souls.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
4	সকল মানুষ একই জাতি সত্তার অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তা’আলা পয়গম্বর পাঠালেন সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতি প্রদর্শনকরী হিসাবে। আর তাঁদের সাথে অবর্তীণ করলেন সত্য কিতাব, যাতে মানুষের মাঝে বিতর্কমূলক বিষয়ে মীমাংসা করতে পারেন। বস্তুতঃ কিতাবের ব্যাপারে অন্য কেউ মতভেদ করেনি; কিন্তু পরিষ্কার নির্দেশ এসে যাবার পর নিজেদের পারস্পরিক জেদবশতঃ তারাই করেছে, যারা কিতাব প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ ঈমানদারদেরকে হেদায়েত করেছেন সেই সত্য বিষয়ে, যে ব্যাপারে তারা মতভেদ লিপ্ত হয়েছিল। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা, সরল পথ বাতলে দেন। Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২১৩)
5	বলে দিন, তোমরা যদি মনের কথা গোপন করে রাখ অথবা প্রকাশ করে দাও, আল্লাহ সে সবই জানতে পারেন। আর আসমান ও জমিনে যা কিছু আছে, সেসব ও তিনি জানেন। আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে শক্তিমান। Say: "Whether ye hide what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it all: He knows what is in the heavens, and what is on earth. And Allah has power over all things.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ২৯)
6	অবশ্য তোমরা যদি সবর কর এবং বিরত থাক আর তারা যদি তখনই তোমাদের উপর চড়াও হয়, তাহলে তোমাদের পালনকর্তা চিহিߦ#2468; ঘোড়ার উপর পাঁচ হাজার ফেরেশতা তোমাদের সাহায্যে পাঠাতে পারেন। "Yea, - if ye remain firm, and act aright, even if the enemy should rush here on you in hot haste, your Lord would help you with five thousand angels Making a terrific onslaught.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১২৫)
7	হে মুমিনগণ, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে এমন কিছু শিকারের মাধ্যমে পরীক্ষা করবেন, যে শিকার পর্যন্ত তোমাদের হাত ও বর্শা সহজেই পৌছতে পারবে-যাতে আল্লাহ বুঝতে পারেন যে, কে তাকে অদৃশ্যভাবে ভয়করে। অতএব, যে ব্যক্তি এরপর সীমা অতিক্রম করবে, তার জন্য যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে। O ye who believe! Allah doth but make a trial of you in a little matter of game well within reach of game well within reach of your hands and your lances, that He may test who feareth him unseen: any who transgress thereafter, will have a grievous penalty.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
8	যখন হাওয়ারীরা বললঃ হে মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসা, আপনার পালনকর্তা কি এরূপ করতে পারেন যে, আমাদের জন্যে আকাশ থেকে খাদ্যভর্তি খাঞ্চা অবতরণ করে দেবেন? তিনি বললেনঃ যদি তোমরা ঈমানদার হও, তবে আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। Behold! the disciples, said: "O Jesus the son of Mary! can thy Lord send down to us a table set (with viands) from heaven?" Said Jesus: "Fear Allah, if ye have faith."	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ১১২)
9	আর যদি তাদের বিমুখতা আপনার পক্ষে কষ্টকর হয়, তবে আপনি যদি ভূতলে কোন সুড়ঙ্গ অথবা আকাশে কোন সিড়ি অনুসন্ধান করতে সমর্থ হন, অতঃপর তাদের কাছে কোন একটি মোজেযা আনতে পারেন, তবে নিয়ে আসুন। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে সবাইকে সরল পথে সমবেত করতে পারতেন। অতএব, আপনি নির্বোধদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন না। If their spurning is hard on thy mind, yet if thou wert able to seek a tunnel in the ground or a ladder to the skies and bring them a sign,- (what good?). If it were Allah's will, He could gather them together unto true guidance: so be not thou amongst those who are swayed by ignorance (and impatience)!	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
10	তারা আল্লাহকে যথার্থ মূল্যায়ন করতে পারেনি, যখন তারা বললঃ আল্লাহ কোন মানুষের প্রতি কোন কিছু অবতীর্ণ করেননি। আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুনঃ ঐ গ্রন্থ কে নাযিল করেছে, যা মূসা নিয়ে এসেছিল ? যা জ্যোতিবিশেষ এবং মানব মন্ডলীর জন্যে হোদায়েতস্বরূপ, যা তোমরা বিক্ষিপ্তপত্রে রেখে লোকদের জন্যে প্রকাশ করছ এবং বহুলাংশকে গোপন করছ। তোমাদেরকে এমন অনেক বিষয় শিক্ষা দেয়া হয়েছে, যা তোমরা এবং তোমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা জানতো না। আপনি বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ নাযিল করেছেন। অতঃপর তাদেরকে তাদের ক্রীড়ামূলক বৃত্তিতে ব্যাপৃত থাকতে দিন। No just estimate of Allah do they make when they say: "Nothing doth Allah send down to man (by way of revelation)" Say: "Who then sent down the Book which Moses brought?- a light and guidance to man: But ye make it into (separate) sheets for show, while ye conceal much (of its contents): therein were ye taught that which ye knew not- neither ye nor your fathers." Say: "Allah (sent it down)": Then leave them to plunge in vain discourse and trifling.	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ৯১)
11	দৃষ্টিসমূহ তাঁকে পেতে পারে না, অবশ্য তিনি দৃষ্টিসমূহকে পেতে পারেন। তিনি অত্যন্ত সুক্ষদর্শী, সুবিজ্ঞ। No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision: He is above all comprehension, yet is acquainted with all things.	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ১০৩)
12	যখন তিনি আরোপ করেন তোমাদের উপর তন্দ্রাচ্ছন্ন তা নিজের পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রশান্তির জন্য এবং তোমাদের উপর আকাশ থেকে পানি অবতরণ করেন, যাতে তোমাদিগকে পবিত্র করে দেন এবং যাতে তোমাদের থেকে অপসারিত করে দেন শয়তানের অপবিত্রতা। আর যাতে করে সুরক্ষিত করে দিতে পারেন তোমাদের অন্তরসমূহকে এবং তাতে যেন সুদৃঢ় করে দিতে পারেন তোমাদের পা গুলো। Remember He covered you with a sort of drowsiness, to give you calm as from Himself, and he caused rain to descend on you from heaven, to clean you therewith, to remove from you the stain of Satan, to strengthen your hearts, and to plant your feet firmly therewith.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ১১)
13	সুতরাং তোমরা তাদেরকে হত্যা করনি, বরং আল্লাহই তাদেরকে হত্যা করেছেন। আর তুমি মাটির মুষ্ঠি নিক্ষেপ করনি, যখন তা নিক্ষেপ করেছিলে, বরং তা নিক্ষেপ করেছিলেন আল্লাহ স্বয়ং যেন ঈমানদারদের প্রতি এহসান করতে পারেন যথার্থভাবে। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী; পরিজ্ঞাত। It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah: when thou threwest (a handful of dust), it was not thy act, but Allah's: in order that He might test the Believers by a gracious trial from Himself: for Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ১৭)
14	আর যখন তোমাদেরকে দেখালেন সে সৈন্যদল মোকাবেলার সময় তোমাদের চোখে অল্প এবং তোমাদেরকে দেখালেন তাদের চোখে বেশী, যাতে আল্লাহ সে কাজ করে নিতে পারেন যা ছিল নির্ধারিত। আর সব কাজই আল্লাহর নিকট গিয়ে পৌছায়। And remember when ye met, He showed them to you as few in your eyes, and He made you appear as contemptible in their eyes: that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted. For to Allah do all questions go back (for decision).	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
15	অভিযোগের পথ তো তাদের ব্যাপারে রয়েছে, যারা তোমার নিকট অব্যাহতি কামনা করে অথচ তারা সম্পদশালী। যারা পেছনে পড়ে থাকা লোকদের সাথে থাকতে পেরে আনন্দিত হয়েছে। আর আল্লাহ মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছেন তাদের অন্তরসমূহে। বস্তুতঃ তারা জানতেও পারেনি। The ground (of complaint) is against such as claim exemption while they are rich. They prefer to stay with the (women) who remain behind: Allah hath sealed their hearts; so they know not (What they miss).	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
16	তারা কি একথা জানতে পারেনি যে, আল্লাহ নিজেই স্বীয় বান্দাদের তওবা কবুল করেন এবং যাকাত গ্রহণ করেন? বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহই তওবা কবুলকারী, করুণাময়। Know they not that Allah doth accept repentance from His votaries and receives their gifts of charity, and that Allah is verily He, the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful?	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ১০৪)
17	আর যখন আমি আস্বাদন করাই স্বীয় রহমত সে কষ্টের পর, যা তাদের ভোগ করতে হয়েছিল, তখনই তারা আমার শক্তিমত্তার মাঝে নানা রকম ছলনা তৈরী করতে আরম্ভ করবে। আপনি বলে দিন, আল্লাহ সবচেয়ে দ্রুত কলা-কৌশল তৈরী করতে পারেন। নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের ফেরেশতারা লিখে রাখে তোমাদের ছল-চাতুরী। When We make mankind taste of some mercy after adversity hath touched them, behold! they take to plotting against Our Signs! Say: "Swifter to plan is Allah!" Verily, Our messengers record all the plots that ye make!	(ইউনুস: আয়াতঃ ২১)
18	তারা সেখানে চিরকাল থাকবে, যতদিন আসমান ও যমীন বর্তমান থাকবে। তবে তোমার প্রতিপালক অন্য কিছু ইচ্ছা করলে ভিন্ন কথা। নিশ্চয় তোমার পরওয়ারদেগার যা ইচ্ছা করতে পারেন। They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as thy Lord willeth: for thy Lord is the (sure) accomplisher of what He planneth.	(হুদ: আয়াতঃ ১০৭)
19	তিনি বললেনঃ এখানেই আমার ও আপনার মধ্যে সম্পর্কচ্ছেদ হল। এখন যে বিষয়ে আপনি ধৈর্য্য ধরতে পারেননি, আমি তার তাৎপর্য বলে দিচ্ছি। He answered: "This is the parting between me and thee: now will I tell thee the interpretation of (those things) over which thou wast unable to hold patience.	(কাহফ: আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
20	অবশেষে তিনি যখন সুর্যের অস্তাচলে পৌছলেন; তখন তিনি সুর্যকে এক পঙ্কিল জলাশয়ে অস্ত যেতে দেখলেন এবং তিনি সেখানে এক সম্প্রদায়কে দেখতে পেলেন। আমি বললাম, হে যুলকারনাইন! আপনি তাদেরকে শাস্তি দিতে পারেন অথবা তাদেরকে সদয়ভাবে গ্রহণ করতে পারেন। Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water: Near it he found a People: We said: "O Zul-qarnain! (thou hast authority,) either to punish them, or to treat them with kindness."	(কাহফ: আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
21	কল্যানময় তিনি, যিনি ইচ্ছা করলে আপনাকে তদপেক্ষা উত্তম বস্তু দিতে পারেন-বাগ-বাগিচা, যার তলদেশে নহর প্রবাহিত হয় এবং দিতে পারেন আপনাকে প্রাসাদসমূহ। Blessed is He who, if that were His will, could give thee better (things) than those,- Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and He could give thee palaces (secure to dwell in).	(আল-ফুরকান: আয়াতঃ ১০)
22	তারা এক চক্রান্ত করেছিল এবং আমিও এক চক্রান্ত করেছিলাম। কিন্তু তারা বুঝতে পারেনি। They plotted and planned, but We too planned, even while they perceived it not.	(নমল: আয়াতঃ ৫০)
23	আপনি তাদের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা দূরে রাখতে পারেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা কাছে রাখতে পারেন। আপনি যাকে দূরে রেখেছেন, তাকে কামনা করলে তাতে আপনার কোন দোষ নেই। এতে অধিক সম্ভাবনা আছে যে, তাদের চক্ষু শীতল থাকবে; তারা দুঃখ পাবে না এবং আপনি যা দেন, তাতে তারা সকলেই সন্তুষ্ট থাকবে। তোমাদের অন্তরে যা আছে, আল্লাহ জানেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, সহনশীল। Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction - that of all of them - with that which thou hast to give them: and Allah knows (all) that is in your hearts: and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.	(আল আহযাব: আয়াতঃ ৫১)
24	আপনি কেবল তাদেরকেই সতর্ক করতে পারেন, যারা উপদেশ অনুসরণ করে এবং দয়াময় আল্লাহকে না দেখে ভয় করে। অতএব আপনি তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ দিয়ে দিন ক্ষমা ও সম্মানজনক পুরস্কারের। Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous.	(ইয়াসীন: আয়াতঃ ১১)
25	আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে সমস্ত লোককে এক দলে পরিণত করতে পারেন। কিন্তু তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা স্বীয় রহমতে দাখিল করেন। আর যালেমদের কোন অভিভাবক ও সাহায্যকারী নেই। If Allah had so willed, He could have made them a single people; but He admits whom He will to His Mercy; and the Wrong-doers will have no protector nor helper.	(আশ-শুরা: আয়াতঃ ৮)
26	যারা তোমাদের শত্রু আল্লাহ তাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সম্ভবতঃ বন্ধুত্ব সৃষ্টি করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ সবই করতে পারেন এবং আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুণাময়। It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies. For Allah has power (over all things); And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.	(আল মুমতাহিনা: আয়াতঃ ৭)
