নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	আর (স্মরণ কর) যখন আমি মূসাকে কিতাব এবং সত্য-মিথ্যার পার্থক্য বিধানকারী নির্দেশ দান করেছি, যাতে তোমরা সরল পথ প্রাপ্ত হতে পার। And remember We gave Moses the Scripture and the Criterion (Between right and wrong): There was a chance for you to be guided aright.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
2	হে বুদ্ধিমানগণ! কেসাসের মধ্যে তোমাদের জন্যে জীবন রয়েছে, যাতে তোমরা সাবধান হতে পার। In the Law of Equality there is (saving of) Life to you, o ye men of understanding; that ye may restrain yourselves.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৭৯)
3	হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমাদের উপর রোজা ফরয করা হয়েছে, যেরূপ ফরজ করা হয়েছিল তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তী লোকদের উপর, যেন তোমরা পরহেযগারী অর্জন করতে পার। O ye who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that ye may (learn) self-restraint,-	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৮৩)
4	গণনার কয়েকটি দিনের জন্য অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্যে যে, অসুখ থাকবে অথবা সফরে থাকবে, তার পক্ষে অন্য সময়ে সে রোজা পূরণ করে নিতে হবে। আর এটি যাদের জন্য অত্যন্ত কষ্ট দায়ক হয়, তারা এর পরিবর্তে একজন মিসকীনকে খাদ্যদান করবে। যে ব্যক্তি খুশীর সাথে সৎকর্ম করে, তা তার জন্য কল্যাণ কর হয়। আর যদি রোজা রাখ, তবে তোমাদের জন্যে বিশেষ কল্যাণকর, যদি তোমরা তা বুঝতে পার। (Fasting) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed number (Should be made up) from days later. For those who can do it (With hardship), is a ransom, the feeding of one that is indigent. But he that will give more, of his own free will,- it is better for him. And it is better for you that ye fast, if ye only knew.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৮৪)
5	তোমার নিকট তারা জিজ্ঞেস করে নতুন চাঁদের বিষয়ে। বলে দাও যে এটি মানুষের জন্য সময় নির্ধারণ এবং হজ্বের সময় ঠিক করার মাধ্যম। আর পেছনের দিক দিয়ে ঘরে প্রবেশ করার মধ্যে কোন নেকী বা কল্যাণ নেই। অবশ্য নেকী হল আল্লাহকে ভয় করার মধ্যে। আর তোমরা ঘরে প্রবেশ কর দরজা দিয়ে এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক যাতে তোমরা নিজেদের বাসনায় কৃতকার্য হতে পার। They ask thee concerning the New Moons. Say: They are but signs to mark fixed periods of time in (the affairs of) men, and for Pilgrimage. It is no virtue if ye enter your houses from the back: It is virtue if ye fear Allah. Enter houses through the proper doors: And fear Allah: That ye may prosper.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৮৯)
6	তারা তোমাকে মদ ও জুয়া সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞেস করে। বলে দাও, এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে রয়েছে মহাপাপ। আর মানুষের জন্যে উপকারিতাও রয়েছে, তবে এগুলোর পাপ উপকারিতা অপেক্ষা অনেক বড়। আর তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে, কি তারা ব্যয় করবে? বলে দাও, নিজেদের প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যয়ের পর যা বাঁচে তাই খরচ করবে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে নির্দেশ সুস্পষ্টরূপে বর্ণনা করেন, যাতে তোমরা চিন্তা করতে পার। They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit." They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say: "What is beyond your needs." Thus doth Allah Make clear to you His Signs: In order that ye may consider-	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২১৯)
7	এভাবেই আল্লাহ তা’আলা তোমাদের জন্য স্বীয় নির্দেশ বর্ণনা করেন যাতে তোমরা তা বুঝতে পার। Thus doth Allah Make clear His Signs to you: In order that ye may understand.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৪২)
8	আর তোমরা সকলে আল্লাহর রজ্জুকে সুদৃঢ় হস্তে ধারণ কর; পরস্পর বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ো না। আর তোমরা সে নেয়ামতের কথা স্মরণ কর, যা আল্লাহ তোমাদিগকে দান করেছেন। তোমরা পরস্পর শত্রু ছিলে। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তোমাদের মনে সম্প্রীতি দান করেছেন। ফলে, এখন তোমরা তাঁর অনুগ্রহের কারণে পরস্পর ভাই ভাই হয়েছ। তোমরা এক অগ্নিকুন্ডের পাড়ে অবস্থান করছিলে। অতঃপর তা থেকে তিনি তোমাদেরকে মুক্তি দিয়েছেন। এভাবেই আল্লাহ নিজের নিদর্শনসমুহ প্রকাশ করেন, যাতে তোমরা হেদায়েত প্রাপ্ত হতে পার। And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah's favour on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, ye became brethren; and ye were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus doth Allah make His Signs clear to you: That ye may be guided.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১০৩)
9	অবশ্য ধন-সম্পদে এবং জনসম্পদে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা হবে এবং অবশ্য তোমরা শুনবে পূর্ববর্তী আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে এবং মুশরেকদের কাছে বহু অশোভন উক্তি। আর যদি তোমরা ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর এবং পরহেযগারী অবলম্বন কর, তবে তা হবে একান্ত সৎসাহসের ব্যাপার। Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৮৬)
10	হে ঈমানদানগণ! ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর এবং মোকাবেলায় দৃঢ়তা অবলম্বন কর। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক যাতে তোমরা তোমাদের উদ্দেশ্য লাভে সমর্থ হতে পার। O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah; that ye may prosper.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ২০০)
11	আর এতীমদের প্রতি বিশেষভাবে নজর রাখবে, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা বিয়ের বয়সে পৌঁছে। যদি তাদের মধ্যে বুদ্ধি-বিবেচনার উন্মেষ আঁচ করতে পার, তবে তাদের সম্পদ তাদের হাতে অর্পন করতে পার। এতীমের মাল প্রয়োজনাতিরিক্ত খরচ করো না বা তারা বড় হয়ে যাবে মনে করে তাড়াতাড়ি খেয়ে ফেলো না। যারা স্বচ্ছল তারা অবশ্যই এতীমের মাল খরচ করা থেকে বিরত থাকবে। আর যে অভাবগ্রস্ত সে সঙ্গত পরিমাণ খেতে পারে। যখন তাদের হাতে তাদের সম্পদ প্রত্যার্পণ কর, তখন সাক্ষী রাখবে। অবশ্য আল্লাহই হিসাব নেয়ার ব্যাপারে যথেষ্ট। Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking account.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৬)
12	যেগুলো সম্পর্কে তোমাদের নিষেধ করা হয়েছে যদি তোমরা সেসব বড় গোনাহ গুলো থেকে বেঁচে থাকতে পার। তবে আমি তোমাদের ক্রটি-বিচ্যুতিগুলো ক্ষমা করে দেব এবং সম্মান জনক স্থানে তোমাদের প্রবেশ করার। If ye (but) eschew the most heinous of the things which ye are forbidden to do, We shall expel out of you all the evil in you, and admit you to a gate of great honour.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৩১)
13	এখন মুশরেকরা বলবেঃ যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে না আমরা শিরক করতাম, না আমাদের বাপ দাদারা এবং না আমরা কোন বস্তুকে হারাম করতাম। এমনিভাবে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা মিথ্যারোপ করেছে, এমন কি তারা আমার শাস্তি আস্বাদন করেছে। আপনি বলুনঃ তোমাদের কাছে কি কোন প্রমাণ আছে যা আমাদেরকে দেখাতে পার। তোমরা শুধুমাত্র আন্দাজের অনুসরণ কর এবং তোমরা শুধু অনুমান করে কথা বল। Those who give partners (to Allah) will say: "If Allah had wished, we should not have given partners to Him nor would our fathers; nor should we have had any taboos." So did their ancestors argue falsely, until they tasted of Our wrath. Say: "Have ye any (certain) knowledge? If so, produce it before us. Ye follow nothing but conjecture: ye do nothing but lie."	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ১৪৮)
14	ফেরাউন বলল, তোমরা কি (তাহলে) আমার অনুমতি দেয়ার আগেই ঈমান আনলে! এটা প্রতারণা, যা তোমরা এ নগরীতে প্রদর্শন করলে। যাতে করে এ শহরের অধিবাসীদিগকে শহর থেকে বের করে দিতে পার। সুতরাং তোমরা শীঘ্রই বুঝতে পারবে। Said Pharaoh: "Believe ye in Him before I give you permission? Surely this is a trick which ye have planned in the city to drive out its people: but soon shall ye know (the consequences).	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১২৩)
15	বলে দাও, হে মানব মন্ডলী। তোমাদের সবার প্রতি আমি আল্লাহ প্রেরিত রসূল, সমগ্র আসমান ও যমীনে তার রাজত্ব। একমাত্র তাঁকে ছাড়া আর কারো উপাসনা নয়। তিনি জীবন ও মৃত্যু দান করেন। সুতরাং তোমরা সবাই বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করো আল্লাহর উপর তাঁর প্রেরিত উম্মী নবীর উপর, যিনি বিশ্বাস রাখেন আল্লাহর এবং তাঁর সমস্ত কালামের উপর। তাঁর অনুসরণ কর যাতে সরল পথপ্রাপ্ত হতে পার। Say: "O men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth: there is no god but He: it is He That giveth both life and death. So believe in Allah and His Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, who believeth in Allah and His words: follow him that (so) ye may be guided."	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১৫৮)
16	আর যখন আমি তুলে ধরলাম পাহাড়কে তাদের উপরে সামিয়ানার মত এবং তারা ভয় করতে লাগল যে, সেটি তাদের উপর পড়বে, তখন আমি বললাম, ধর, যা আমি তোমাদের দিয়েছি, দৃঢ়ভাবে এবং স্মরণ রেখো যা তাতে রয়েছে, যেন তোমরা বাঁচতে পার। When We shook the Mount over them, as if it had been a canopy, and they thought it was going to fall on them (We said): "Hold firmly to what We have given you, and bring (ever) to remembrance what is therein; perchance ye may fear Allah."	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১৭১)
17	হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা যখন কোন বাহিনীর সাথে সংঘাতে লিপ্ত হও, তখন সুদৃঢ় থাক এবং আল্লাহকে অধিক পরিমাণে স্মরণ কর যাতে তোমরা উদ্দেশ্যে কৃতকার্য হতে পার। O ye who believe! When ye meet a force, be firm, and call Allah in remembrance much (and often); that ye may prosper:	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
18	তোমরা বের হয়ে পড় স্বল্প বা প্রচুর সরঞ্জামের সাথে এবং জেহাদ কর আল্লাহর পথে নিজেদের মাল ও জান দিয়ে, এটি তোমাদের জন্যে অতি উত্তম, যদি তোমরা বুঝতে পার। Go ye forth, (whether equipped) lightly or heavily, and strive and struggle, with your goods and your persons, in the cause of Allah. That is best for you, if ye (but) knew.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৪১)
19	আমি একে আরবী ভাষায় কোরআন রূপে অবতীর্ণ করেছি, যাতে তোমরা বুঝতে পার। We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an, in order that ye may learn wisdom.	(ইউসূফ: আয়াতঃ ২)
20	সে বললঃ এমনিতেই হবে। তোমার পালনকর্তা বলেছেন, এটা আমার জন্যে সহজ সাধ্য এবং আমি তাকে মানুষের জন্যে একটি নিদর্শন ও আমার পক্ষ থেকে অনুগ্রহ স্বরূপ করতে চাই। এটা তো এক স্থিরীকৃত ব্যাপার। He said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us': It is a matter (so) decreed."	(মারইয়াম: আয়াতঃ ২১)
21	যাদুকররা বললঃ আমাদের কাছে যে, সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ এসেছে তার উপর এবং যিনি আমাদের কে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, তাঁর উপর আমরা কিছুতেই তোমাকে প্রাধান্য দেব না। অতএব, তুমি যা ইচ্ছা করতে পার। তুমি তো শুধু এই পার্থিব জীবনেই যা করার করবে। They said: "Never shall we regard thee as more than the Clear Signs that have come to us, or than Him Who created us! so decree whatever thou desirest to decree: for thou canst only decree (touching) the life of this world.	(ত্বোয়া-হা: আয়াতঃ ৭২)
22	হে লোক সকল! তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় কেয়ামতের প্রকম্পন একটি ভয়ংকর ব্যাপার। O mankind! fear your Lord! for the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible!	(হাজ্জ্ব: আয়াতঃ ১)
23	হে মুমিনগণ! তোমরা রুকু কর, সেজদা কর, তোমাদের পালনকর্তার এবাদত কর এবং সৎকাজ সম্পাদন কর, যাতে তোমরা সফলকাম হতে পার। O ye who believe! bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper.	(হাজ্জ্ব: আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
24	যখন মূসা তাঁর পরিবারবর্গকে বললেনঃ আমি অগ্নি দেখেছি, এখন আমি সেখান থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে কোন খবর আনতে পারব অথবা তোমাদের জন্যে জ্বলন্ত অঙ্গার নিয়ে আসতে পারব যাতে তোমরা আগুন পোহাতে পার। Behold! Moses said to his family: "I perceive a fire; soon will I bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand to light our fuel, that ye may warm yourselves.	(নমল: আয়াতঃ ৭)
25	অতঃপর মূসা (আঃ) যখন সেই মেয়াদ পূর্ণ করল এবং সপরিবারে যাত্রা করল, তখন সে তুর পর্বতের দিক থেকে আগুন দেখতে পেল। সে তার পরিবারবর্গকে বলল, তোমরা অপেক্ষা কর, আমি আগুন দেখেছি। সম্ভবতঃ আমি সেখান থেকে তোমাদের কাছে কোন খবর নিয়ে আসতে পারি অথবা কোন জ্বলন্ত কাষ্ঠখন্ড আনতে পারি, যাতে তোমরা আগুন পোহাতে পার। Now when Moses had fulfilled the term, and was travelling with his family, he perceived a fire in the direction of Mount Tur. He said to his family: "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; I hope to bring you from there some information, or a burning firebrand, that ye may warm yourselves."	(আল কাসাস: আয়াতঃ ২৯)
26	নবী মুমিনদের নিকট তাদের নিজেদের অপেক্ষা অধিক ঘনিষ্ঠ এবং তাঁর স্ত্রীগণ তাদের মাতা। আল্লাহর বিধান অনুযায়ী মুমিন ও মুহাজিরগণের মধ্যে যারা আত্নীয়, তারা পরস্পরে অধিক ঘনিষ্ঠ। তবে তোমরা যদি তোমাদের বন্ধুদের প্রতি দয়া-দাক্ষিণ্য করতে চাও, করতে পার। এটা লওহে-মাহফুযে লিখিত আছে। The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. Blood-relations among each other have closer personal ties, in the Decree of Allah. Than (the Brotherhood of) Believers and Muhajirs: nevertheless do ye what is just to your closest friends: such is the writing in the Decree (of Allah).	(আল আহযাব: আয়াতঃ ৬)
27	সে কি বহু উপাস্যের পরিবর্তে এক উপাস্যের উপাসনা সাব্যস্ত করে দিয়েছে। নিশ্চয় এটা এক বিস্ময়কর ব্যাপার। "Has he made the gods (all) into one Allah? Truly this is a wonderful thing!"	(ছোয়াদ: আয়াতঃ ৫)
28	তাতে তোমাদের জন্যে অনেক উপকারিতা রয়েছে আর এজন্যে সৃষ্টি করেছেন; যাতে সেগুলোতে আরোহণ করে তোমরা তোমাদের অভীষ্ট প্রয়োজন পূর্ণ করতে পার। এগুলোর উপর এবং নৌকার উপর তোমরা বাহিত হও। And there are (other) advantages in them for you (besides); that ye may through them attain to any need (there may be) in your hearts; and on them and on ships ye are carried.	(আল-মু'মিন: আয়াতঃ ৮০)
29	যিনি তোমাদের জন্যে পৃথিবীকে করেছেন বিছানা এবং তাতে তোমাদের জন্যে করেছেন পথ, যাতে তোমরা গন্তব্যস্থলে পৌঁছতে পার। (Yea, the same that) has made for you the earth (like a carpet) spread out, and has made for you roads (and channels) therein, in order that ye may find guidance (on the way);	(যুখরুফ: আয়াতঃ ১০)
30	বরং তারা তাদের মধ্য থেকেই একজন ভয় প্রদর্শনকারী আগমন করেছে দেখে বিস্ময় বোধ করে। অতঃপর কাফেররা বলেঃ এটা আশ্চর্যের ব্যাপার। But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing!	(ক্বাফ: আয়াতঃ ২)
