| 1 | অবশেষে যখন সে আমার কাছে আসবে, তখন সে শয়তানকে বলবে, হায়, আমার ও তোমার মধ্যে যদি পূর্ব-পশ্চিমের দূরত্ব থাকত। কত হীন সঙ্গী সে। At length, when (such a one) comes to Us, he says (to his evil companion): "Would that between me and thee were the distance of East and West!" Ah! evil is the companion (indeed)! |

| 2 | তিনি পূর্ব ও পশ্চিমের অধিকর্তা। তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। অতএব, তাঁকেই গ্রহণ করুন কর্মবিধায়করূপে। (He is) Lord of the East and the West: there is no god but He: take Him therefore for (thy) Disposer of Affairs. |
