| 1 | আমি আকাশ পৃথিবী ও পর্বতমালার সামনে এই আমানত পেশ করেছিলাম, অতঃপর তারা একে বহন করতে অস্বীকার করল এবং এতে ভীত হল; কিন্তু মানুষ তা বহণ করল। নিশ্চয় সে জালেম-অজ্ঞ। We did indeed offer the Trust to the Heavens and the Earth and the Mountains; but they refused to undertake it, being afraid thereof: but man undertook it;- He was indeed unjust and foolish;- |

| 2 | আমি ভূমিকে বিস্তৃত করেছি, তাতে পর্বতমালার ভার স্থাপন করেছি এবং তাতে সর্বপ্রকার নয়নাভিরাম উদ্ভিদ উদগত করেছি। And the earth- We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and produced therein every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs)- |
