| 1 | আল্লাহ ঈমানদারদের উপর অনুগ্রহ করেছেন যে, তাদের মাঝে তাদের নিজেদের মধ্য থেকে নবী পাঠিয়েছেন। তিনি তাদের জন্য তাঁর আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন। তাদেরকে পরিশোধন করেন এবং তাদেরকে কিতাব ও কাজের কথা শিক্ষা দেন। বস্তুতঃ তারা ছিল পূর্ব থেকেই পথভ্রষ্ট। Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a messenger from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error. |

| 2 | স্মরণ কর, যখন ইব্রাহীম পিতা আযরকে বললেনঃ তুমি কি প্রতিমা সমূহকে উপাস্য মনে কর? আমি দেখতে পাচ্ছি যে, তুমি ও তোমার সম্প্রদায় প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্ট। Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: "Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error." |

| 3 | যাদেরকে মুখ থুবড়ে পড়ে থাকা অবস্থায় জাহান্নামের দিকে একত্রিত করা হবে, তাদেরই স্থান হবে নিকৃষ্ট এবং তারাই পথভ্রষ্ট। Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces,- they will be in an evil plight, and, as to Path, most astray. |

| 4 | সে তো আমাদেরকে আমাদের উপাস্যগণের কাছ থেকে সরিয়েই দিত, যদি আমরা তাদেরকে আঁকড়ে ধরে না থাকতাম। তারা যখন শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, তখন জানতে পারবে কে অধিক পথভ্রষ্ট। "He indeed would well-nigh have misled us from our gods, had it not been that we were constant to them!" - Soon will they know, when they see the Penalty, who it is that is most misled in Path! |
