| 1 | তিনিই তোমাদের ভ্রমন করান স্থলে ও সাগরে। এমনকি যখন তোমরা নৌকাসমূহে আরোহণ করলে আর তা লোকজনকে অনুকূল হাওয়ায় বয়ে নিয়ে চলল এবং তাতে তারা আনন্দিত হল, নৌকাগুলোর উপর এল তীব্র বাতাস, আর সর্বদিক থেকে সেগুলোর উপর ঢেউ আসতে লাগল এবং তারা জানতে পারল যে, তারা অবরুদ্ধ হয়ে পড়েছে, তখন ডাকতে লাগল আল্লাহকে তাঁর এবাদতে নিঃস্বার্থ হয়ে যদি তুমি আমাদেরকে এ বিপদ থেকে উদ্ধার করে তোল, তাহলে নিঃসন্দেহে আমরা কৃতজ্ঞ থাকব। He it is Who enableth you to traverse through land and sea; so that ye even board ships;- they sail with them with a favourable wind, and they rejoice thereat; then comes a stormy wind and the waves come to them from all sides, and they think they are being overwhelmed: they cry unto Allah, sincerely offering (their) duty unto Him saying, "If thou dost deliver us from this, we shall truly show our gratitude!" |

| 2 | তুমি একেবারে ব্যয়-কুষ্ঠ হয়োনা এবং একেবারে মুক্ত হস্তও হয়ো না। তাহলে তুমি তিরস্কৃতি, নিঃস্ব হয়ে বসে থাকবে। Make not thy hand tied (like a niggard's) to thy neck, nor stretch it forth to its utmost reach, so that thou become blameworthy and destitute. |

| 3 | তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিবাহহীন, তাদের বিবাহ সম্পাদন করে দাও এবং তোমাদের দাস ও দাসীদের মধ্যে যারা সৎকর্মপরায়ন, তাদেরও। তারা যদি নিঃস্ব হয়, তবে আল্লাহ নিজ অনুগ্রহে তাদেরকে সচ্ছল করে দেবেন। আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যময়, সর্বজ্ঞ। Marry those among you who are single, or the virtuous ones among yourselves, male or female: if they are in poverty, Allah will give them means out of His grace: for Allah encompasseth all, and he knoweth all things. |

| 4 | এই ধন-সম্পদ দেশত্যাগী নিঃস্বদের জন্যে, যারা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টিলাভের অন্বেষণে এবং আল্লাহ তাঁর রসূলের সাহায্যার্থে নিজেদের বাস্তুভিটা ও ধন-সম্পদ থেকে বহিস্কৃত হয়েছে। তারাই সত্যবাদী। (Some part is due) to the indigent Muhajirs, those who were expelled from their homes and their property, while seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure, and aiding Allah and His Messenger: such are indeed the sincere ones:- |

| 5 | তিনি আপনাকে পেয়েছেন নিঃস্ব, অতঃপর অভাবমুক্ত করেছেন। And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. |
