নং আয়াত সূরা
1 শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.		 (আল ফাতিহা:
আয়াতঃ ১)
2 তিনি তোমাদের উপর হারাম করেছেন, মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকর মাংস এবং সেসব জীব-জন্তু যা আল্লাহ ব্যাতীত অপর কারো নামে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। অবশ্য যে লোক অনন্যোপায় হয়ে পড়ে এবং নাফরমানী ও সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী না হয়, তার জন্য কোন পাপ নেই। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহান ক্ষমাশীল, অত্যন্ত দয়ালু।
He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then is he guiltless. For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৩)
3 এমরানের স্ত্রী যখন বললো-হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আমার গর্ভে যা রয়েছে আমি তাকে তোমার নামে উৎসর্গ করলাম সবার কাছ থেকে মুক্ত রেখে। আমার পক্ষ থেকে তুমি তাকে কবুল করে নাও, নিশ্চয়ই তুমি শ্রবণকারী, সর্বজ্ঞাত।
Behold! a woman of 'Imran said: "O my Lord! I do dedicate unto Thee what is in my womb for Thy special service: So accept this of me: For Thou hearest and knowest all things."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
4 যারা আল্লাহর নামে কৃত অঙ্গীকার এবং প্রতিজ্ঞা সামান্য মুল্যে বিক্রয় করে, আখেরাতে তাদের কেন অংশ নেই। আর তাদের সাথে কেয়ামতের দিন আল্লাহ কথা বলবেন না। তাদের প্রতি (করুণার) দৃষ্টিও দেবেন না। আর তাদেরকে পরিশুদ্ধও করবেন না। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক আযাব।
As for those who sell the faith they owe to Allah and their own plighted word for a small price, they shall have no portion in the Hereafter: Nor will Allah (Deign to) speak to them or look at them on the Day of Judgment, nor will He cleans them (of sin): They shall have a grievous penalty.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
5 হে মানব সমাজ! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর, যিনি তোমাদেরকে এক ব্যক্তি থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং যিনি তার থেকে তার সঙ্গীনীকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন; আর বিস্তার করেছেন তাদের দু’জন থেকে অগণিত পুরুষ ও নারী। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যাঁর নামে তোমরা একে অপরের নিকট যাচঞ্ঝা করে থাক এবং আত্নীয় জ্ঞাতিদের ব্যাপারে সতর্কতা অবলম্বন কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদের ব্যাপারে সচেতন রয়েছেন।
O mankind! reverence your Guardian-Lord, who created you from a single person, created, of like nature, His mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;- reverence Allah, through whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (That bore you): for Allah ever watches over you.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১)
6 এমতাবস্থায় যদি তাদের কৃতকর্মের দরুন বিপদ আরোপিত হয়, তবে তাতে কি হল! অতঃপর তারা আপনার কাছে আল্লাহর নামে কসম খেয়ে খেয়ে ফিরে আসবে যে, মঙ্গল ও সম্প্রীতি ছাড়া আমাদের অন্য কোন উদ্দেশ্য ছিল না।
How then, when they are seized by misfortune, because of the deeds which they hands have sent forth? Then their come to thee, swearing by Allah: "We meant no more than good-will and conciliation!"		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
7 যে কেউ রসূলের বিরুদ্ধাচারণ করে, তার কাছে সরল পথ প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর এবং সব মুসলমানের অনুসৃত পথের বিরুদ্ধে চলে, আমি তাকে ঐ দিকেই ফেরাব যে দিক সে অবলম্বন করেছে এবং তাকে জাহান্নামে নিক্ষেপ করব। আর তা নিকৃষ্টতর গন্তব্যস্থান।
If anyone contends with the Messenger even after guidance has been plainly conveyed to him, and follows a path other than that becoming to men of Faith, We shall leave him in the path he has chosen, and land him in Hell,- what an evil refuge!		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৫)
8 তাদের জন্য রয়েছে জাহান্নামের পথ। সেখানে তারা বাস করবে অনন্তকাল। আর এমন করাটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে সহজ।
Except the way of Hell, to dwell therein for ever. And this to Allah is easy.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৯)
9 তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হয়েছে মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস, যেসব জন্তু আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গকৃত হয়, যা কন্ঠরোধে মারা যায়, যা আঘাত লেগে মারা যায়, যা উচ্চ স্থান থেকে পতনের ফলে মারা যা, যা শিং এর আঘাতে মারা যায় এবং যাকে হিংস্র জন্তু ভক্ষণ করেছে, কিন্তু যাকে তোমরা যবেহ করেছ। যে জন্তু যজ্ঞবেদীতে যবেহ করা হয় এবং যা ভাগ্য নির্ধারক শর দ্বারা বন্টন করা হয়। এসব গোনাহর কাজ। আজ কাফেররা তোমাদের দ্বীন থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে ভয় করো না বরং আমাকে ভয় কর। আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের দ্বীনকে পূর্নাঙ্গ করে দিলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার অবদান সম্পূর্ণ করে দিলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্যে দ্বীন হিসেবে পছন্দ করলাম। অতএব যে ব্যাক্তি তীব্র ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে; কিন্তু কোন গোনাহর প্রতি প্রবণতা না থাকে, তবে নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল।
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
10 মুসলমানরা বলবেঃ এরাই কি সেসব লোক, যারা আল্লাহর নামে প্রতিজ্ঞা করত যে, আমরা তোমাদের সাথে আছি? তাদের কৃতকর্মসমূহ বিফল হয়ে গেছে, ফলে তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়ে আছে।
And those who believe will say: "Are these the men who swore their strongest oaths by Allah, that they were with you?" All that they do will be in vain, and they will fall into (nothing but) ruin.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
11 হে, মুমিনগণ, তোমাদের মধ্যে যখন কারও মৃত্যু উপস্থিত হয়, তখন ওছিয়ত করার সময় তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে ধর্মপরায়ন দুজনকে সাক্ষী রেখো। তোমরা সফরে থাকলে এবং সে অবস্থায় তোমাদের মৃত্যু উপস্থিত হলে তোমরা তোমাদের ছাড়াও দু ব্যক্তিকে সাক্ষী রেখো। যদি তোমাদের সন্দেহ হয়, তবে উভয়কে নামাযের পর থাকতে বলবে। অতঃপর উভয়েই আল্লাহর নামে কসম খাবে যে, আমরা এ কসমের বিনিময়ে কোন উপকার গ্রহণ করতে চাই না, যদিও কোন আত্নীয়ও হয় এবং আল্লাহর সাক্ষ্য আমরা গোপন করব না। এমতাবস্থায় কঠোর গোনাহগার হব।
O ye who believe! When death approaches any of you, (take) witnesses among yourselves when making bequests,- two just men of your own (brotherhood) or others from outside if ye are journeying through the earth, and the chance of death befalls you (thus). If ye doubt (their truth), detain them both after prayer, and let them both swear by Allah: "We wish not in this for any worldly gain, even though the (beneficiary) be our near relation: we shall hide not the evidence before Allah: if we do, then behold! the sin be upon us!"		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৬)
12 অতঃপর যদি জানা যায় যে, উভয় ওসি কোন গোনাহে জড়িত রয়েছে, তবে যাদের বিরুদ্ধে গোনাহ হয়েছিল, তাদের মধ্য থেকে মৃতু ব্যক্তির নিকটতম দু’ব্যক্তি তাদের স্থলাভিষিক্ত হবে। অতঃপর আল্লাহর নামে কসম খাবে যে, অবশ্যই আমাদের সাক্ষ্য তাদের সাক্ষ্যর চাইতে অধিক সত্য এবং আমরা সীমা অতিক্রম করিনি। এমতাবস্থায় আমরা অবশ্যই অত্যাচারী হব।
But if it gets known that these two were guilty of the sin (of perjury), let two others stand forth in their places,- nearest in kin from among those who claim a lawful right: let them swear by Allah: "We affirm that our witness is truer than that of those two, and that we have not trespassed (beyond the truth): if we did, behold! the wrong be upon us!"		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৭)
13 আপনি বলে দিনঃ যা কিছু বিধান ওহীর মাধ্যমে আমার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তন্মধ্যে আমি কোন হারাম খাদ্য পাই না কোন ভক্ষণকারীর জন্যে, যা সে ভক্ষণ করে; কিন্তু মৃত অথবা প্রবাহিত রক্ত অথবা শুকরের মাংস এটা অপবিত্র অথবা অবৈধ; যবেহ করা জন্তু যা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। অতপর যে ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে এমতাবস্থায় যে অবাধ্যতা করে না এবং সীমালঙ্গন করে না, নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা ক্ষমাশীল দয়ালু।
Say: "I find not in the message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine,- for it is an abomination - or, what is impious, (meat) on which a name has been invoked, other than Allah's". But (even so), if a person is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- thy Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৫)
14 আর আল্লাহর জন্য রয়েছে সব উত্তম নাম। কাজেই সে নাম ধরেই তাঁকে ডাক। আর তাদেরকে বর্জন কর, যারা তাঁর নামের ব্যাপারে বাঁকা পথে চলে। তারা নিজেদের কৃতকর্মের ফল শীঘ্রই পাবে।
The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on him by them; but shun such men as use profanity in his names: for what they do, they will soon be requited.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮০)
15 সে দিন জাহান্নামের আগুনে তা উত্তপ্ত করা হবে এবং তার দ্বারা তাদের ললাট, পার্শ্ব ও পৃষ্ঠদেশকে দগ্ধ করা হবে (সেদিন বলা হবে), এগুলো যা তোমরা নিজেদের জন্যে জমা রেখেছিলে, সুতরাং এক্ষণে আস্বাদ গ্রহণ কর জমা করে রাখার।
On the Day when heat will be produced out of that (wealth) in the fire of Hell, and with it will be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, their flanks, and their backs.- "This is the (treasure) which ye buried for yourselves: taste ye, then, the (treasures) ye buried!"		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
16 তারা আল্লাহর নামে হলফ করে বলে যে, তারা তোমাদেরই অন্তর্ভুক্ত, অথচ তারা তোমাদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত নয়, অবশ্য তারা তোমাদের ভয় করে।
They swear by Allah that they are indeed of you; but they are not of you: yet they are afraid (to appear in their true colours).		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
17 পেছনে থেকে যাওয়া লোকেরা আল্লাহর রসূল থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে বসে থাকতে পেরে আনন্দ লাভ করেছে; আর জান ও মালের দ্বারা আল্লাহর রাহে জেহাদ করতে অপছন্দ করেছে এবং বলেছে, এই গরমের মধ্যে অভিযানে বের হয়ো না। বলে দাও, উত্তাপে জাহান্নামের আগুন প্রচন্ডতম। যদি তাদের বিবেচনা শক্তি থাকত।
Those who were left behind (in the Tabuk expedition) rejoiced in their inaction behind the back of the Messenger of Allah: they hated to strive and fight, with their goods and their persons, in the cause of Allah: they said, "Go not forth in the heat." Say, "The fire of Hell is fiercer in heat." If only they could understand!		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
18 আর তারা অল্প-বিস্তর যা কিছু ব্যয় করে, যত প্রান্তর তারা অতিক্রম করে, তা সবই তাদের নামে লেখা হয়, যেন আল্লাহ তাদের কৃতকর্মসমূহের উত্তম বিনিময় প্রদান করেন।
Nor could they spend anything (for the cause) - small or great- nor cut across a valley, but the deed is inscribed to their credit: that Allah may requite their deed with the best (possible reward).		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২১)
19 আর তিনি বললেন, তোমরা এতে আরোহন কর। আল্লাহর নামেই এর গতি ও স্থিতি। আমার পালনকর্তা অতি ক্ষমাপরায়ন, মেহেরবান।
So he said: "Embark ye on the Ark, In the name of Allah, whether it move or be at rest! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
20 কেয়ামতের দিন সে তার জাতির লোকদের আগে আগে থাকবে এবং তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আগুনে পৌঁছে দিবে। আর সেটা অতীব নিকৃষ্ট স্থান, সেখানে তারা পৌঁছেছে।।
He will go before his people on the Day of Judgment, and lead them into the Fire (as cattle are led to water): But woeful indeed will be the place to which they are led!		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৮)
21 তোমরা আল্লাহকে ছেড়ে নিছক কতগুলো নামের এবাদত কর, সেগুলো তোমরা এবং তোমাদের বাপ-দাদারা সাব্যস্ত করে নিয়েছে। আল্লাহ এদের কোন প্রমাণ অবতীর্ণ করেননি। আল্লাহ ছাড়া কারও বিধান দেবার ক্ষমতা নেই। তিনি আদেশ দিয়েছেন যে, তিনি ব্যতীত অন্য কারও এবাদত করো না। এটাই সরল পথ। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক তা জানে না।
"If not Him, ye worship nothing but names which ye have named,- ye and your fathers,- for which Allah hath sent down no authority: the command is for none but Allah: He hath commanded that ye worship none but Him: that is the right religion, but most men understand not...		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
22 বললেন, তাকে ততক্ষণ তোমাদের সাথে পাঠাব না, যতক্ষণ তোমরা আমাকে আল্লাহর নামে অঙ্গীকার না দাও যে, তাকে অবশ্যই আমার কাছে পৌঁছে দেবে; কিন্তু যদি তোমরা সবাই একান্তই অসহায় না হয়ে যাও। অতঃপর যখন সবাই তাঁকে অঙ্গীকার দিল, তখন তিনি বললেনঃ আমাদের মধ্যে যা কথাবার্তা হলো সে ব্যাপারে আল্লাহই মধ্যস্থ রইলেন।
(Jacob) said: "Never will I send him with you until ye swear a solemn oath to me, in Allah's name, that ye will be sure to bring him back to me unless ye are yourselves hemmed in (and made powerless). And when they had sworn their solemn oath, he said: "Over all that we say, be Allah the witness and guardian!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
23 অতঃপর যখন তারা তাঁর কাছ থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে গেল, তখন পরামর্শের জন্যে এখানে বসল। তাদের জ্যেষ্ঠ ভাই বললঃ তোমরা কি জান না যে, পিতা তোমাদের কাছ থেকে আল্লাহর নামে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছেন এবং পূর্বে ইউসুফের ব্যাপারেও তোমরা অন্যায় করেছো? অতএব আমি তো কিছুতেই এদেশ ত্যাগ করব না, যে পর্যন্ত না পিতা আমাকে আদেশ দেন অথবা আল্লাহ আমার পক্ষে কোন ব্যবস্থা করে দেন। তিনিই সর্বোত্তম ব্যবস্থাপক।
Now when they saw no hope of his (yielding), they held a conference in private. The leader among them said: "Know ye not that your father did take an oath from you in Allah's name, and how, before this, ye did fail in your duty with Joseph? Therefore will I not leave this land until my father permits me, or Allah commands me; and He is the best to command.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮০)
24 অতএব, জাহান্নামের দরজসমূহে প্রবেশ কর, এতেই অনন্তকাল বাস কর। আর অহংকারীদের আবাসস্থল কতই নিকৃষ্ট।
"So enter the gates of Hell, to dwell therein. Thus evil indeed is the abode of the arrogant."		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
25 তারা আল্লাহর নামে কঠোর শপথ করে যে, যার মৃত্যু হয় আল্লাহ তাকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করবেন না। অবশ্যই এর পাকাপোক্ত ওয়াদা হয়ে গেছে। কিন্তু, অধিকাংশ লোক জানে না।
They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that Allah will not raise up those who die: Nay, but it is a promise (binding) on Him in truth: but most among mankind realise it not.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
26 আল্লাহর নামে অঙ্গীকার করার পর সে অঙ্গীকার পূর্ণ কর এবং পাকাপাকি কসম করার পর তা ভঙ্গ করো না, অথচ তোমরা আল্লাহকে জামিন করেছ। তোমরা যা কর আল্লাহ তা জানেন।
Fulfil the Covenant of Allah when ye have entered into it, and break not your oaths after ye have confirmed them; indeed ye have made Allah your surety; for Allah knoweth all that ye do.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৯১)
27 এটা ঐ হিকমতের অন্তর্ভূক্ত, যা আপনার পালনকর্তা আপনাকে ওহী মারফত দান করেছেন। আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য কোন উপাস্য স্থির করবেন না। তাহলে অভিযুক্ত ও আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ থেকে বিতাড়িত অবস্থায় জাহান্নামে নিক্ষিপ্ত হবেন।
These are among the (precepts of) wisdom, which thy Lord has revealed to thee. Take not, with Allah, another object of worship, lest thou shouldst be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
28 বলুনঃ আল্লাহ বলে আহবান কর কিংবা রহমান বলে, যে নামেই আহবান কর না কেন, সব সুন্দর নাম তাঁরই। আপনি নিজের নামায আদায়কালে স্বর উচ্চগ্রাসে নিয়ে গিয়ে পড়বেন না এবং নিঃশব্দেও পড়বেন না। এতদুভয়ের মধ্যমপন্থা অবলম্বন করুন।
Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between."		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১১০)
29 হে যাকারিয়া, আমি তোমাকে এক পুত্রের সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছি, তার নাম হবে ইয়াহইয়া। ইতিপূর্বে এই নামে আমি কারও নাম করণ করিনি।
(His prayer was answered): "O Zakariya! We give thee good news of a son: His name shall be Yahya: on none by that name have We conferred distinction before."		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
30 সুতরাং আপনার পালনকর্তার কসম, আমি অবশ্যই তাদেরকে এবং শয়তানদেরকে একত্রে সমবেত করব, অতঃপর অবশ্যই তাদেরকে নতজানু অবস্থায় জাহান্নামের চারপাশে উপস্থিত করব।
So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell;		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
31 অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে যারা জাহান্নামে প্রবেশের অধিক যোগ্য, আমি তাদের বিষয়ে ভালোভাবে জ্ঞাত আছি।
And certainly We know best those who are most worthy of being burned therein.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
32 এবং অপরাধীদেরকে পিপাসার্ত অবস্থায় জাহান্নামের দিকে হাঁকিয়ে নিয়ে যাব।
And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,-		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
33 তাদের মধ্যে যে বলে যে, তিনি ব্যতীত আমিই উপাস্য, তাকে আমি জাহান্নামের শাস্তি দেব। আমি জালেমদেরকে এভাবেই প্রতিফল দিয়ে থাকি।
If any of them should say, "I am a god besides Him", such a one We should reward with Hell: thus do We reward those who do wrong.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
34 এই মূর্তিরা যদি উপাস্য হত, তবে জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করত না। প্রত্যেকেই তাতে চিরস্থায়ী হয়ে পড়ে থাকবে।
If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
35 যখন এক শিকলে কয়েকজন বাঁধা অবস্থায় জাহান্নামের কোন সংকীর্ণ স্থানে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে, তখন সেখানে তারা মৃত্যুকে ডাকবে।
And when they are cast, bound together into a constricted place therein, they will plead for destruction there and then!		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
36 যাদেরকে মুখ থুবড়ে পড়ে থাকা অবস্থায় জাহান্নামের দিকে একত্রিত করা হবে, তাদেরই স্থান হবে নিকৃষ্ট এবং তারাই পথভ্রষ্ট।
Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces,- they will be in an evil plight, and, as to Path, most astray.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
37 এবং যারা বলে, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাদের কাছথেকে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি হটিয়ে দাও। নিশ্চয় এর শাস্তি নিশ্চিত বিনাশ;
Those who say, "Our Lord! avert from us the Wrath of Hell, for its Wrath is indeed an affliction grievous,-		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
38 অতঃপর তাদেরকে এবং পথভ্রষ্টদেরকে আধোমুখি করে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে জাহান্নামে।
"Then they will be thrown headlong into the (Fire),- they and those straying in Evil,		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
39 সেই পত্র সুলায়মানের পক্ষ থেকে এবং তা এইঃ সসীম দাতা, পরম দয়ালু, আল্লাহর নামে শুরু;
"It is from Solomon, and is (as follows): 'In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful:		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
40 তারা বলল, তোমরা পরস্পরে আল্লাহর নামে শপথ গ্রহণ কর যে, আমরা রাত্রিকালে তাকে ও তার পরিবারবর্গকে হত্যা করব। অতঃপর তার দাবীদারকে বলে দেব যে, তার পরিবারবর্গের হত্যাকান্ড আমরা প্রত্যক্ষ করিনি। আমরা নিশ্চয়ই সত্যবাদী।
They said: "Swear a mutual oath by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his people, and that we shall then say to his heir (when he seeks vengeance): 'We were not present at the slaughter of his people, and we are positively telling the truth.'"		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
41 আমি তাদেরকে নেতা করেছিলাম। তারা জাহান্নামের দিকে আহবান করত। কেয়ামতের দিন তারা সাহায্য প্রাপ্ত হবে না।
And we made them (but) leaders inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
42 তাদেরকে যখন বলা হয়, আল্লাহ যা নাযিল করেছেন, তোমরা তার অনুসরণ কর, তখন তারা বলে, বরং আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদেরকে যে বিষয়ের উপর পেয়েছি, তারই অনুসরণ করব। শয়তান যদি তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের শাস্তির দিকে দাওয়াত দেয়, তবুও কি?
When they are told to follow the (Revelation) that Allah has sent down, they say: "Nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following). "What! even if it is Satan beckoning them to the Penalty of the (Blazing) Fire?		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
43 পক্ষান্তরে যারা অবাধ্য হয়, তাদের ঠিকানা জাহান্নাম। যখনই তারা জাহান্নাম থেকে বের হতে চাইবে, তখনই তাদেরকে তথায় ফিরিয়ে দেয়া হবে এবং তাদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা জাহান্নামের যে আযাবকে মিথ্যা বলতে, তার স্বাদ আস্বাদন কর।
As to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the Fire: every time they wish to get away therefrom, they will be forced thereinto, and it will be said to them: "Taste ye the Penalty of the Fire, the which ye were wont to reject as false."		 (সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
44 বলুন, আমি তোমাদেরকে একটি বিষয়ে উপদেশ দিচ্ছিঃ তোমরা আল্লাহর নামে এক একজন করে ও দু, দু জন করে দাঁড়াও, অতঃপর চিন্তা-ভাবনা কর-তোমাদের সঙ্গীর মধ্যে কোন উম্মাদনা নেই। তিনি তো আসন্ন কাঠোর শাস্তি সম্পর্কে তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করেন মাত্র।
Say: "I do admonish you on one point: that ye do stand up before Allah,- (It may be) in pairs, or (it may be) singly,- and reflect (within yourselves): your Companion is not possessed: he is no less than a warner to you, in face of a terrible Penalty."		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
45 আর যারা কাফের হয়েছে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের আগুন। তাদেরকে মৃত্যুর আদেশও দেয়া হবে না যে, তারা মরে যাবে এবং তাদের থেকে তার শাস্তিও লাঘব করা হবে না। আমি প্রত্যেক অকৃতজ্ঞকে এভাবেই শাস্তি দিয়ে থাকি।
But those who reject (Allah) - for them will be the Fire of Hell: No term shall be determined for them, so they should die, nor shall its Penalty be lightened for them. Thus do We reward every ungrateful one!		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
46 আল্লাহ ব্যতীত। অতঃপর তাদেরকে পরিচালিত কর জাহান্নামের পথে,
"Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
47 অপর সে উকি দিয়ে দেখবে এবং তাকে জাহান্নামের মাঝখানে দেখতে পাবে।
He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫)
48 এটি একটি বৃক্ষ, যা উদগত হয় জাহান্নামের মূলে।
For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire:		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
49 অতঃপর তাদের প্রত্যাবর্তন হবে জাহান্নামের দিকে।
Then shall their return be to the (Blazing) Fire.		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
50 শুধুমাত্র তাদের ছাড়া যারা জাহান্নামে পৌছাবে।
Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৩)
51 এই তো একদল তোমাদের সাথে প্রবেশ করছে। তাদের জন্যে অভিনন্দন নেই তারা তো জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।
Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire!		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
52 তারা বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, যে আমাদেরকে এর সম্মুখীন করেছে, আপনি জাহান্নামে তার শাস্তি দ্বিগুণ করে দিন।
They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!"		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
53 যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে মিথ্যা বলে এবং তার কাছে সত্য আগমন করার পর তাকে মিথ্যা সাব্যস্ত করে, তার চেয়ে অধিক যালেম আর কে হবে? কাফেরদের বাসস্থান জাহান্নামে নয় কি?
Who, then, doth more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah, and rejects the Truth when it comes to him; is there not in Hell an abode for blasphemers?		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
54 যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করে, কেয়ামতের দিন আপনি তাদের মুখ কাল দেখবেন। অহংকারীদের আবাসস্থল জাহান্নামে নয় কি?
On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those who told lies against Allah;- their faces will be turned black; Is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty?		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
55 কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের দিকে দলে দলে হাঁকিয়ে নেয়া হবে। তারা যখন সেখানে পৌছাবে, তখন তার দরজাসমূহ খুলে দেয়া হবে এবং জাহান্নামের রক্ষীরা তাদেরকে বলবে, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বর আসেনি, যারা তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদের পালনকর্তার আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করত এবং সতর্ক করত এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ব্যাপারে? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা, কিন্তু কাফেরদের প্রতি শাস্তির হুকুমই বাস্তবায়িত হয়েছে।
The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in crowd: until, when they arrive, there, its gates will be opened. And its keepers will say, "Did not messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Signs of your Lord, and warning you of the Meeting of This Day of yours?" The answer will be: "True: but the Decree of Punishment has been proved true against the Unbelievers!"		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
56 বলা হবে, তোমরা জাহান্নামের দরজা দিয়ে প্রবেশ কর, সেখানে চিরকাল অবস্থানের জন্যে। কত নিকৃষ্ট অহংকারীদের আবাসস্থল।
(To them) will be said: "Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) Abode of the Arrogant!"		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
57 যারা আরশ বহন করে এবং যারা তার চারপাশে আছে, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার সপ্রশংস পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করে, তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং মুমিনদের জন্যে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করে বলে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আপনার রহমত ও জ্ঞান সবকিছুতে পরিব্যাপ্ত। অতএব, যারা তওবা করে এবং আপনার পথে চলে, তাদেরকে ক্ষমা করুন এবং জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করুন।
Those who sustain the Throne (of Allah) and those around it Sing Glory and Praise to their Lord; believe in Him; and implore Forgiveness for those who believe: "Our Lord! Thy Reach is over all things, in Mercy and Knowledge. Forgive, then, those who turn in Repentance, and follow Thy Path; and preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire!		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
58 হে আমার কওম, ব্যাপার কি, আমি তোমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দেই মুক্তির দিকে, আর তোমরা আমাকে দাওয়াত দাও জাহান্নামের দিকে।
"And O my people! How (strange) it is for me to call you to Salvation while ye call me to the Fire!		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
59 যখন তারা জাহান্নামে পরস্পর বিতর্ক করবে, অতঃপর দূর্বলরা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, আমরা তোমাদের অনুসারী ছিলাম। তোমরা এখন জাহান্নামের আগুনের কিছু অংশ আমাদের থেকে নিবৃত করবে কি?
Behold, they will dispute with each other in the Fire! The weak ones (who followed) will say to those who had been arrogant, "We but followed you: Can ye then take (on yourselves) from us some share of the Fire?		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
60 অহংকারীরা বলবে, আমরা সবাই তো জাহান্নামে আছি। আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের ফয়সালা করে দিয়েছেন।
Those who had been arrogant will say: "We are all in this (Fire)! Truly, Allah has judged between (his) Servants!"		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
61 যারা জাহান্নামে আছে, তারা জাহান্নামের রক্ষীদেরকে বলবে, তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে বল, তিনি যেন আমাদের থেকে একদিনের আযাব লাঘব করে দেন।
Those in the Fire will say to the Keepers of Hell: "Pray to your Lord to lighten us the Penalty for a day (at least)!"		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
62 তোমাদের পালনকর্তা বলেন, তোমরা আমাকে ডাক, আমি সাড়া দেব। যারা আমার এবাদতে অহংকার করে তারা সত্বরই জাহান্নামে দাখিল হবে লাঞ্ছিত হয়ে।
And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!"		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
63 প্রবেশ কর তোমরা জাহান্নামের দরজা দিয়ে সেখানে চিরকাল বসবাসের জন্যে। কত নিকৃষ্ট দাম্ভিকদের আবাসস্থল।
"Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) abode of the arrogant!"		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
64 তারা যখন জাহান্নামের কাছে পৌঁছাবে, তখন তাদের কান, চক্ষু ও ত্বক তাদের কর্ম সম্পর্কে সাক্ষ্য দেবে।
At length, when they reach the (Fire), their hearing, their sight, and their skins will bear witness against them, as to (all) their deeds.		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
65 নিশ্চয় যারা আমার আয়াতসমূহের ব্যাপারে বক্রতা অবলম্বন করে, তারা আমার কাছে গোপন নয়। যে ব্যক্তি জাহান্নামে নিক্ষিপ্ত হবে সে শ্রেষ্ঠ, না যে কেয়ামতের দিন নিরাপদে আসবে? তোমরা যা ইচ্ছা কর, নিশ্চয় তিনি দেখেন যা তোমরা কর।
Those who pervert the Truth in Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Which is better?- he that is cast into the Fire, or he that comes safe through, on the Day of Judgment? Do what ye will: verily He seeth (clearly) all that ye do.		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
66 এমনি ভাবে আমি আপনার প্রতি আরবী ভাষায় কোরআন নাযিল করেছি, যাতে আপনি মক্কা ও তার আশ-পাশের লোকদের সতর্ক করেন এবং সতর্ক করেন সমাবেশের দিন সম্পর্কে, যাতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই। একদল জান্নাতে এবং একদল জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।
Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
67 জাহান্নামের সামনে উপস্থিত করার সময় আপনি তাদেরকে দেখবেন, অপমানে অবনত এবং অর্ধ নিমীলিত দৃষ্টিতে তাকায়। মুমিনরা বলবে, কেয়ামতের দিন ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত তারাই, যারা নিজেদের ও তাদের পরিবার-পরিজনের ক্ষতি সাধন করেছে। শুনে রাখ, পাপাচারীরা স্থায়ী আযাবে থাকবে।
And thou wilt see them brought forward to the (Penalty), in a humble frame of mind because of (their) disgrace, (and) looking with a stealthy glance. And the Believers will say: "Those are indeed in loss, who have given to perdition their own selves and those belonging to them on the Day of Judgment. Behold! Truly the Wrong-doers are in a lasting Penalty!"		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
68 নিশ্চয় অপরাধীরা জাহান্নামের আযাবে চিরকাল থাকবে।
The sinners will be in the Punishment of Hell, to dwell therein (for aye):		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
69 একে ধর এবং টেনে নিয়ে যাও জাহান্নামের মধ্যস্থলে,
(A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire!		 (আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
70 তারা সেখানে মৃত্যু আস্বাদন করবে না, প্রথম মৃত্যু ব্যতীত এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে রক্ষা করবেন।
Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,-		 (আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
71 যেদিন কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের কাছে উপস্থিত করা হবে সেদিন বলা হবে, তোমরা তোমাদের সুখ পার্থিব জীবনেই নিঃশেষ করেছ এবং সেগুলো ভোগ করেছ সুতরাং আজ তোমাদেরকে অপমানকর আযাবের শাস্তি দেয়া হবে; কারণ, তোমরা পৃথিবীতে অন্যায় ভাবে অহংকার করতে এবং তোমরা পাপাচার করতে।
And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (It will be said to them): "Ye received your good things in the life of the world, and ye took your pleasure out of them: but today shall ye be recompensed with a Penalty of humiliation: for that ye were arrogant on earth without just cause, and that ye (ever) transgressed."		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
72 যেদিন কাফেরদেরকে জাহান্নামের সামনে পেশ করা হবে, সেদিন বলা হবে, এটা কি সত্য নয়? তারা বলবে, হঁ্যা আমাদের পালনকর্তার শপথ। আল্লাহ বলবেন, আযাব আস্বাদন কর। কারণ, তোমরা কুফরী করতে।
And on the Day that the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?" they will say, "Yea, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then taste ye the Penalty, for that ye were wont to deny (Truth)!"		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
73 পরহেযগারদেরকে যে জান্নাতের ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে, তার অবস্থা নিম্নরূপঃ তাতে আছে পানির নহর, নির্মল দুধের নহর যারা স্বাদ অপরিবর্তনীয়, পানকারীদের জন্যে সুস্বাদু শরাবের নহর এবং পরিশোধিত মধুর নহর। তথায় তাদের জন্যে আছে রকমারি ফল-মূল ও তাদের পালনকর্তার ক্ষমা। পরহেযগাররা কি তাদের সমান, যারা জাহান্নামে অনন্তকাল থাকবে এবং যাদেরকে পান করতে দেয়া হবে ফুটন্ত পানি অতঃপর তা তাদের নাড়িভূঁড়ি ছিন্ন বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দেবে?
(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
74 মুমিনগণ, কেউ যেন অপর কাউকে উপহাস না করে। কেননা, সে উপহাসকারী অপেক্ষা উত্তম হতে পারে এবং কোন নারী অপর নারীকেও যেন উপহাস না করে। কেননা, সে উপহাসকারিণী অপেক্ষা শ্রেষ্ঠ হতে পারে। তোমরা একে অপরের প্রতি দোষারোপ করো না এবং একে অপরকে মন্দ নামে ডেকো না। কেউ বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলে তাদের মন্দ নামে ডাকা গোনাহ। যারা এহেন কাজ থেকে তওবা না করে তারাই যালেম।
O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong.		 (আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
75 তোমরা উভয়েই নিক্ষেপ কর জাহান্নামে প্রত্যেক অকৃতজ্ঞ বিরুদ্ধবাদীকে,
(The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!-		 (ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
76 সেদিন তোমাদেরকে জাহান্নামের অগ্নির দিকে ধাক্কা মেরে মেরে নিয়ে যাওয়া হবে।
That Day shall they be thrust down to the Fire of Hell, irresistibly.		 (আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
77 তারা উপভোগ করবে যা তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের দেবেন এবং তিনি জাহান্নামের আযাব থেকে তাদেরকে রক্ষা করবেন।
Enjoying the (Bliss) which their Lord hath bestowed on them, and their Lord shall deliver them from the Penalty of the Fire.		 (আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
78 যেদিন তাদেরকে মুখ হিঁচড়ে টেনে নেয়া হবে জাহান্নামে, বলা হবেঃ অগ্নির খাদ্য আস্বাদন কর।
The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!"		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
79 তারা জাহান্নামের অগ্নি ও ফুটন্ত পানির মাঝখানে প্রদক্ষিণ করবে।
In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round!		 (আর রহমান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
80 অতএব, আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামে পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন।
Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme!		 (আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
81 অতএব, আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামে পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন।
So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme.		 (আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৯৬)
82 আর যারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে তারাই তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে সিদ্দীক ও শহীদ বলে বিবেচিত। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে পুরস্কার ও জ্যোতি এবং যারা কাফের ও আমার নিদর্শন অস্বীকারকারী তারাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী হবে।
And those who believe in Allah and His messengers- they are the Sincere (lovers of Truth), and the witnesses (who testify), in the eyes of their Lord: They shall have their Reward and their Light. But those who reject Allah and deny Our Signs,- they are the Companions of Hell-Fire.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
83 আল্লাহর কবল থেকে তাদের ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তাদেরকে মোটেই বাঁচাতে পারবেনা। তারাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী তথায় তারা চিরকাল থাকবে।
Of no profit whatever to them, against Allah, will be their riches nor their sons: they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for aye)!		 (আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
84 আল্লাহ যদি তাদের জন্যে নির্বাসন অবধারিত না করতেন, তবে তাদেরকে দুনিয়াতে শাস্তি দিতেন। আর পরকালে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের আযাব।
And had it not been that Allah had decreed banishment for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world: And in the Hereafter they shall (certainly) have the Punishment of the Fire.		 (আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
85 অতঃপর উভয়ের পরিণতি হবে এই যে, তারা জাহান্নামে যাবে এবং চিরকাল তথায় বসবাস করবে। এটাই জালেমদের শাস্তি।
The end of both will be that they will go into the Fire, dwelling therein for ever. Such is the reward of the wrong-doers.		 (আল হাশর:

86 জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী এবং জান্নাতের অধিবাসী সমান হতে পারে না। যারা জান্নাতের অধিবাসী, তারাই সফলকাম।
Not equal are the Companions of the Fire and the Companions of the Garden: it is the Companions of the Garden, that will achieve Felicity.		 (আল হাশর:

87 আর যারা কাফের এবং আমার আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে, তারাই জাহান্নামের অধিবাসী, তারা তথায় অনন্তকাল থাকবে। কতই না মন্দ প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল এটা।
But those who reject Faith and treat Our Signs as falsehoods, they will be Companions of the Fire, to dwell therein for aye: and evil is that Goal.		 (আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
88 আল্লাহ তা’আলা কাফেরদের জন্যে নূহ-পত্নী ও লূত-পত্নীর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন। তারা ছিল আমার দুই ধর্মপরায়ণ বান্দার গৃহে। অতঃপর তারা তাদের সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করল। ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহ তা’আলার কবল থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারল না এবং তাদেরকে বলা হলঃ জাহান্নামীদের সাথে জাহান্নামে চলে যাও।
Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!"		 (আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
89 যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে অস্বীকার করেছে তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি। সেটা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট স্থান।
For those who reject their Lord (and Cherisher) is the Penalty of Hell: and evil is (such), Destination.		 (আল মুলক:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
90 অতএব, যারা এই কালামকে মিথ্যা বলে, তাদেরকে আমার হাতে ছেড়ে দিন, আমি এমন ধীরে ধীরে তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের দিকে নিয়ে যাব যে, তারা জানতে পারবে না।
Then leave Me alone with such as reject this Message: by degrees shall We punish them from directions they perceive not.		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
91 অতঃপর নিক্ষেপ কর জাহান্নামে।
"And burn ye him in the Blazing Fire.		 (আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
92 সে যদি আমার নামে কোন কথা রচনা করত,
And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name,		 (আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
93 অতএব, আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামের পবিত্রতা বর্ননা করুন।
So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High.		 (আল হাক্বক্বাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
94 তাদের গোনাহসমূহের দরুন তাদেরকে নিমজ্জিত করা হয়েছে, অতঃপর দাখিল করা হয়েছে জাহান্নামে। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহ তা’আলা ব্যতীত কাউকে সাহায্যকারী পায়নি।
Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood), and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found- in lieu of Allah- none to help them.		 (নূহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
95 আর যারা অন্যায়কারী, তারা তো জাহান্নামের ইন্ধন।
'But those who swerve,- they are (but) fuel for Hell-fire'-		 (আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
96 কিন্তু আল্লাহ তা’আলার বাণী পৌছানো ও তাঁর পয়গাম প্রচার করাই আমার কাজ। যে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলকে অমান্য করে, তার জন্যে রয়েছে জাহান্নামের অগ্নি। তথায় তারা চিরকাল থাকবে।
"Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein for ever."		 (আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
97 আমি জাহান্নামের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক ফেরেশতাই রেখেছি। আমি কাফেরদেরকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্যেই তার এই সংখ্যা করেছি-যাতে কিতাবীরা দৃঢ়বিশ্বাসী হয়, মুমিনদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং কিতাবীরা ও মুমিনগণ সন্দেহ পোষণ না করে এবং যাতে যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে, তারা এবং কাফেররা বলে যে, আল্লাহ এর দ্বারা কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে চালান। আপনার পালনকর্তার বাহিনী সম্পর্কে একমাত্র তিনিই জানেন এটা তো মানুষের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।
And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind.		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
98 বলবেঃ তোমাদেরকে কিসে জাহান্নামে নীত করেছে?
"What led you into Hell Fire?"		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
99 যখন জাহান্নামের অগ্নি প্রজ্বলিত করা হবে
When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat;		 (আত-তাকভীর:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
100 এবং দুষ্কর্মীরা থাকবে জাহান্নামে;
And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire,		 (আল ইনফিতার:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
101 অতঃপর তারা জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।
Further, they will enter the Fire of Hell.		 (আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
102 এবং জাহান্নামে প্রবেশ করবে।
And he will enter a Blazing Fire.		 (আল ইনশিক্বাক্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
103 যারা মুমিন পুরুষ ও নারীকে নিপীড়ন করেছে, অতঃপর তওবা করেনি, তাদের জন্যে আছে জাহান্নামের শাস্তি, আর আছে দহন যন্ত্রণা,
Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire.		 (আল বুরূজ:

104 আপনি আপনার মহান পালনকর্তার নামের পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করুন
Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High,		 (আল আ'লা:
আয়াতঃ ১)
105 পাঠ করুন আপনার পালনকর্তার নামে যিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন
Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-		 (আলাক:
আয়াতঃ ১)
106 আমিও আহবান করব জাহান্নামের প্রহরীদেরকে
We will call on the angels of punishment (to deal with him)!		 (আলাক:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
107 আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরেকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তারা জাহান্নামের আগুনে স্থায়ীভাবে থাকবে। তারাই সৃষ্টির অধম।
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures.		 (বাইয়্যিনাহ:
