| 1 | তারা বলেঃ এসব চতুষ্পদ জন্তু ও শস্যক্ষেত্র নিষিদ্ধ। আমরা যাকে ইচছা করি, সে ছাড়া এগুলো কেউ খেতে পারবে না, তাদের ধারণা অনুসারে। আর কিছুসংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর পিঠে আরোহন হারাম করা হয়েছে এবং কিছু সংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর উপর তারা ভ্রান্ত ধারনা বশতঃ আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করে না, তাদের মনগড়া বুলির কারণে, অচিরেই তিনি তাদের কে শাস্তি দিবেন। And they say that such and such cattle and crops are taboo, and none should eat of them except those whom - so they say - We wish; further, there are cattle forbidden to yoke or burden, and cattle on which, (at slaughter), the name of Allah is not pronounced; - inventions against Allah's name: soon will He requite them for their inventions. |

| 2 | আপনি বণী-ইসরাঈলকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, আমি মূসাকে নয়টি প্রকাশ্য নিদর্শন দান করেছি। যখন তিনি তাদের কাছে আগমন করেন, ফেরাউন তাকে বললঃ হে মূসা, আমার ধারনায় তুমি তো জাদুগ্রস্থ। To Moses We did give Nine Clear Signs: As the Children of Israel: when he came to them, Pharaoh said to him: "O Moses! I consider thee, indeed, to have been worked upon by sorcery! |
