| 1 | অতঃপর তওয়াফের জন্যে দ্রুতগতিতে সেখান থেকে ফিরে আস, যেখান থেকে সবাই ফিরে। আর আল্লাহর কাছেই মাগফেরাত কামনা কর। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ক্ষমাকারী, করুনাময়। Then pass on at a quick pace from the place whence it is usual for the multitude so to do, and ask for Allah's forgiveness. For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

| 2 | এদেরই জন্য অংশ রয়েছে নিজেদের উপার্জিত সম্পদের। আর আল্লাহ দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী। To these will be allotted what they have earned; and Allah is quick in account. |

| 3 | নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহর নিকট গ্রহণযোগ্য দ্বীন একমাত্র ইসলাম। এবং যাদের প্রতি কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাদের নিকট প্রকৃত জ্ঞান আসার পরও ওরা মতবিরোধে লিপ্ত হয়েছে, শুধুমাত্র পরস্পর বিদ্বেষবশতঃ, যারা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনসমূহের প্রতি কুফরী করে তাদের জানা উচিত যে, নিশ্চিতরূপে আল্লাহ হিসাব গ্রহণে অত্যন্ত দ্রুত। The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account. |

| 4 | অতঃপর সবাইকে সত্যিকার প্রভু আল্লাহর কাছে পৌঁছানো হবে। শুনে রাখ, ফয়সালা তাঁরই এবং তিনি দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণ করবেন। Then are men returned unto Allah, their protector, the (only) reality: Is not His the command? and He is the swiftest in taking account. |

| 5 | তিনিই তোমাদেরকে পৃথিবীতে প্রতিনিধি করেছেন এবং একে অন্যের উপর মর্যাদা সমুন্নত করেছেন, যাতে তোমাদের কে এ বিষয়ে পরীক্ষা করেন, যা তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন। আপনার প্রতিপালক দ্রুত শাস্তি দাতা এবং তিনি অত্যন্ত ক্ষমাশীল, দয়ালু। It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. |

| 6 | আর যখন সুদৃশ্য করে দিল শয়তান তাদের দৃষ্টিতে তাদের কার্যকলাপকে এবং বলল যে, আজকের দিনে কোন মানুষই তোমাদের উপর বিজয়ী হতে পারবে না আর আমি হলাম তোমাদের সমর্থক, অতঃপর যখন সামনাসামনী হল উভয় বাহিনী তখন সে অতি দ্রুত পায়ে পেছনে দিকে পালিয়ে গেল এবং বলল, আমি তোমাদের সাথে না-আমি দেখছি, যা তোমরা দেখছ না; আমি ভয় করি আল্লাহকে। আর আল্লাহর আযাব অত্যন্ত কঠিন। Remember Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them, and said: "No one among men can overcome you this day, while I am near to you": But when the two forces came in sight of each other, he turned on his heels, and said: "Lo! I am clear of you; lo! I see what ye see not; Lo! I fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment." |

| 7 | তারা কোন আশ্রয়স্থল, কোন গুহা বা মাথা গোঁজার ঠাই পেলে সেদিকে পলায়ন করবে দ্রুতগতিতে। If they could find a place to flee to, or caves, or a place of concealment, they would turn straightaway thereto, with an obstinate rush. |

| 8 | আর যখন আমি আস্বাদন করাই স্বীয় রহমত সে কষ্টের পর, যা তাদের ভোগ করতে হয়েছিল, তখনই তারা আমার শক্তিমত্তার মাঝে নানা রকম ছলনা তৈরী করতে আরম্ভ করবে। আপনি বলে দিন, আল্লাহ সবচেয়ে দ্রুত কলা-কৌশল তৈরী করতে পারেন। নিশ্চয়ই আমাদের ফেরেশতারা লিখে রাখে তোমাদের ছল-চাতুরী। When We make mankind taste of some mercy after adversity hath touched them, behold! they take to plotting against Our Signs! Say: "Swifter to plan is Allah!" Verily, Our messengers record all the plots that ye make! |

| 9 | এরা আপনার কাছে মঙ্গলের পরিবর্তে দ্রুত অমঙ্গল কামনা করে। তাদের পূর্বে অনুরূপ অনেক শাস্তিপ্রাপ্ত জনগোষ্ঠী অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছে। আপনার পালনকর্তা মানুষকে তাদের অন্যায় সত্বেও ক্ষমা করেন এবং আপনার পালনকর্তা কঠিন শাস্তিদাতা ও বটে। They ask thee to hasten on the evil in preference to the good: Yet have come to pass, before them, (many) exemplary punishments! But verily thy Lord is full of forgiveness for mankind for their wrong-doing, and verily thy Lord is (also) strict in punishment. |

| 10 | তারা কি দেখে না যে, আমি তাদের দেশকে চতুর্দিক থেকে সমানে সঙ্কুচিত করে আসছি? আল্লাহ নির্দেশ দেন। তাঁর নির্দেশকে পশ্চাতে নিক্ষেপকারী কেউ নেই। তিনি দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণ করেন। See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? (Where) Allah commands, there is none to put back His Command: and He is swift in calling to account. |

| 11 | যাতে আল্লাহ প্রত্যেককে তার কৃতকর্মের প্রতিদান দেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী। That Allah may requite each soul according to its deserts; and verily Allah is swift in calling to account. |

| 12 | মানুষ যেভাবে কল্যাণ কামনা করে, সেভাবেই অকল্যাণ কামনা করে। মানুষ তো খুবই দ্রুততা প্রিয়। The prayer that man should make for good, he maketh for evil; for man is given to hasty (deeds). |

| 13 | যে পর্যন্ত না ইয়াজুজ ও মাজুজকে বন্ধন মুক্ত করে দেয়া হবে এবং তারা প্রত্যেক উচ্চভুমি থেকে দ্রুত ছুটে আসবে। Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill. |

| 14 | তাতে করে তাদেরকে দ্রুত মঙ্গলের দিকে নিয়ে যাচ্ছি? বরং তারা বোঝে না। We would hasten them on in every good? Nay, they do not understand. |
(আল মু'মিনূন: আয়াতঃ ৫৬) |
| 15 | তারাই কল্যাণ দ্রুত অর্জন করে এবং তারা তাতে অগ্রগামী। It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them. |
(আল মু'মিনূন: আয়াতঃ ৬১) |
| 16 | যারা কাফের, তাদের কর্ম মরুভুমির মরীচিকা সদৃশ, যাকে পিপাসার্ত ব্যক্তি পানি মনে করে। এমনকি, সে যখন তার কাছে যায়, তখন কিছুই পায় না এবং পায় সেখানে আল্লাহকে, অতঃপর আল্লাহ তার হিসাব চুকিয়ে দেন। আল্লাহ দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী। But the Unbelievers,- their deeds are like a mirage in sandy deserts, which the man parched with thirst mistakes for water; until when he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing: But he finds Allah (ever) with him, and Allah will pay him his account: and Allah is swift in taking account. |

| 17 | তারা কি আমার শাস্তি দ্রুত কামনা করে? Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? |
(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ২০৪) |
| 18 | সালেহ বললেন, হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা কল্যাণের পূর্বে দ্রুত অকল্যাণ কামনা করছ কেন? তোমরা আল্লাহর কাছে ক্ষমা প্রার্থনা করছ না কেন? সম্ভবতঃ তোমরা দয়াপ্রাপ্ত হবে। He said: "O my people! why ask ye to hasten on the evil in preference to the good? If only ye ask Allah for forgiveness, ye may hope to receive mercy. |

| 19 | বলুন, অসম্ভব কি, তোমরা যত দ্রুত কামনা করছ তাদের কিয়দংশ তোমাদের পিঠের উপর এসে গেছে। Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" |

| 20 | আমার আযাব কি তারা দ্রুত কামনা করে? Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? |
(আস-সাফফাত: আয়াতঃ ১৭৬) |
| 21 | আজ প্রত্যেকেই তার কৃতকর্মের প্রতিদান পাবে। আজ যুলুম নেই। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ দ্রুত হিসাব গ্রহণকারী। That Day will every soul be requited for what it earned; no injustice will there be that Day, for Allah is Swift in taking account. |

| 22 | সে দিন তারা কবর থেকে দ্রুতবেগে বের হবে, যেন তারা কোন এক লক্ষ্যস্থলের দিকে ছুটে যাচ্ছে। The Day whereon they will issue from their sepulchres in sudden haste as if they were rushing to a goal-post (fixed for them),- |

| 23 | তাড়াতাড়ি শিখে নেয়ার জন্যে আপনি দ্রুত ওহী আবৃত্তি করবেন না। Move not thy tongue concerning the (Qur'an) to make haste therewith. |
(আল ক্বেয়ামাহ: আয়াতঃ ১৬) |
| 24 | শপথ তাদের, যারা সন্তরণ করে দ্রুতগতিতে, And by those who glide along (on errands of mercy), |

| 25 | শপথ তাদের, যারা দ্রুতগতিতে অগ্রসর হয় এবং Then press forward as in a race, |
