নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	অতঃপর আমি এ ঘটনাকে তাদের সমসাময়িক ও পরবর্তীদের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত এবং আল্লাহভীরুদের জন্য উপদেশ গ্রহণের উপাদান করে দিয়েছি। So We made it an example to their own time and to their posterity, and a lesson to those who fear Allah.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
2	তুমি কি সে লোককে দেখনি যে এমন এক জনপদ দিয়ে যাচ্ছিল যার বাড়ীঘরগুলো ভেঙ্গে ছাদের উপর পড়ে ছিল? বলল, কেমন করে আল্লাহ মরনের পর একে জীবিত করবেন? অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে মৃত অবস্থায় রাখলেন একশ বছর। তারপর তাকে উঠালেন। বললেন, কত কাল এভাবে ছিলে? বলল আমি ছিলাম, একদিন কংবা একদিনের কিছু কম সময়। বললেন, তা নয়; বরং তুমি তো একশ বছর ছিলে। এবার চেয়ে দেখ নিজের খাবার ও পানীয়ের দিকে-সেগুলো পচে যায় নি এবং দেখ নিজের গাধাটির দিকে। আর আমি তোমাকে মানুষের জন্য দৃষ্টান্ত বানাতে চেয়েছি। আর হাড়গুলোর দিকে চেয়ে দেখ যে, আমি এগুলোকে কেমন করে জুড়ে দেই এবং সেগুলোর উপর মাংসের আবরণ পরিয়ে দেই। অতঃপর যখন তার উপর এ অবস্থা প্রকাশিত হল, তখন বলে উঠল-আমি জানি, নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে ক্ষমতাশীল। Or (take) the similitude of one who passed by a hamlet, all in ruins to its roofs. He said: "Oh! how shall Allah bring it (ever) to life, after (this) its death?" but Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him up (again). He said: "How long didst thou tarry (thus)?" He said: (Perhaps) a day or part of a day." He said: "Nay, thou hast tarried thus a hundred years; but look at thy food and thy drink; they show no signs of age; and look at thy donkey: And that We may make of thee a sign unto the people, Look further at the bones, how We bring them together and clothe them with flesh." When this was shown clearly to him, he said: "I know that Allah hath power over all things."	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৫৯)
3	হে ঈমানদারগণ!তোমরা অনুগ্রহের কথা প্রকাশ করে এবং কষ্ট দিয়ে নিজেদের দান খয়রাত বরবাদ করো না সে ব্যক্তির মত যে নিজের ধন-সম্পদ লোক দেখানোর উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যয় করে এবং আল্লাহ ও পরকালের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখে না। অতএব, এ ব্যাক্তির দৃষ্টান্ত একটি মসৃণ পাথরের মত যার উপর কিছু মাটি পড়েছিল। অতঃপর এর উপর প্রবল বৃষ্টি বর্ষিত হলো, অনন্তর তাকে সম্পূর্ণ পরিষ্কার করে দিল। তারা ঐ বস্তুর কোন সওয়াব পায় না, যা তারা উপার্জন করেছে। আল্লাহ কাফের সম্প্রদায়কে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না। O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury,- like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৬৪)
4	নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহর নিকট ঈসার দৃষ্টান্ত হচ্ছে আদমেরই মতো। তাকে মাটি দিয়ে তৈরী করেছিলেন এবং তারপর তাকে বলেছিলেন হয়ে যাও, সঙ্গে সঙ্গে হয়ে গেলেন। The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
5	উভয় পক্ষের দৃষ্টান্ত হচ্ছে যেমন অন্ধ ও বধির এবং যে দেখতে পায় ও শুনতে পায় উভয়ের অবস্থা কি এক সমান? তবুও তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখ না? These two kinds (of men) may be compared to the blind and deaf, and those who can see and hear well. Are they equal when compared? Will ye not then take heed?	(হুদ: আয়াতঃ ২৪)
6	সত্যের আহবান একমাত্র তাঁরই এবং তাকে ছাড়া যাদেরকে ডাকে, তারা তাদের কোন কাজে আসে না; ওদের দৃষ্টান্ত সেরূপ, যেমন কেউ দু’ হাত পানির দিকে প্রসারিত করে যাতে পানি তার মুখে পৌঁছে যায়। অথচ পানি কোন সময় পৌঁছাবে না। কাফেরদের যত আহবান তার সবই পথভ্রষ্টতা। For Him (alone) is prayer in Truth: any others that they call upon besides Him hear them no more than if they were to stretch forth their hands for water to reach their mouths but it reaches them not: for the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile) wandering (in the mind).	(রা'দ: আয়াতঃ ১৪)
7	তিনি আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেন। অতঃপর স্রোতধারা প্রবাহিত হতে থাকে নিজ নিজ পরিমাণ অনুযায়ী। অতঃপর স্রোতধারা স্ফীত ফেনারাশি উপরে নিয়ে আসে। এবং অলঙ্কার অথবা তৈজসপত্রের জন্যে যে বস্তুকে আগুনে উত্তপ্ত করে, তাতেও তেমনি ফেনারাশি থাকে। এমনি ভাবে আল্লাহ সত্য ও অসত্যের দৃষ্টান্ত প্রদান করেন। অতএব, ফেনা তো শুকিয়ে খতম হয়ে যায় এবং যা মানুষের উপকারে আসে, তা জমিতে অবশিষ্ট থাকে। আল্লাহ এমনিভাবে দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন। He sends down water from the skies, and the channels flow, each according to its measure: But the torrent bears away to foam that mounts up to the surface. Even so, from that (ore) which they heat in the fire, to make ornaments or utensils therewith, there is a scum likewise. Thus doth Allah (by parables) show forth Truth and Vanity. For the scum disappears like forth cast out; while that which is for the good of mankind remains on the earth. Thus doth Allah set forth parables.	(রা'দ: আয়াতঃ ১৭)
8	সে পালনকর্তার নির্দেশে অহরহ ফল দান করে। আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্যে দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণণা করেন-যাতে তারা চিন্তা-ভাবনা করে। It brings forth its fruit at all times, by the leave of its Lord. So Allah sets forth parables for men, in order that they may receive admonition.	(ইব্রাহীম: আয়াতঃ ২৫)
9	আল্লাহ একটি দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন, অপরের মালিকানাধীন গোলামের যে, কোন কিছুর উপর শক্তি রাখে না এবং এমন একজন যাকে আমি নিজের পক্ষ থেকে চমৎকার রুযী দিয়েছি। অতএব, সে তা থেকে ব্যয় করে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে উভয়ে কি সমান হয়? সব প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, কিন্তু অনেক মানুষ জানে না। Allah sets forth the Parable (of two men: one) a slave under the dominion of another; He has no power of any sort; and (the other) a man on whom We have bestowed goodly favours from Ourselves, and he spends thereof (freely), privately and publicly: are the two equal? (By no means;) praise be to Allah. But most of them understand not.	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
10	আল্লাহ আরেকটি দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন, দু’ব্যক্তির, একজন বোবা কোন কাজ করতে পারে না। সে মালিকের উপর বোঝা। যেদিকে তাকে পাঠায়, কোন সঠিক কাজ করে আসে না। সে কি সমান হবে ঐ ব্যক্তির, যে ন্যায় বিচারের আদেশ করে এবং সরল পথে কায়েম রয়েছে। Allah sets forth (another) Parable of two men: one of them dumb, with no power of any sort; a wearisome burden is he to his master; whichever way be directs him, he brings no good: is such a man equal with one who commands Justice, and is on a Straight Way?	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
11	আল্লাহ দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন একটি জনপদের, যা ছিল নিরাপদ ও নিশ্চিন্ত, তথায় প্রত্যেক জায়গা থেকে আসত প্রচুর জীবনোপকরণ। অতঃপর তারা আল্লাহর নেয়ামতের প্রতি অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করল। তখন আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে স্বাদ আস্বাদন করালেন, ক্ষুধা ও ভীতির। Allah sets forth a Parable: a city enjoying security and quiet, abundantly supplied with sustenance from every place: Yet was it ungrateful for the favours of Allah: so Allah made it taste of hunger and terror (in extremes) (closing in on it) like a garment (from every side), because of the (evil) which (its people) wrought.	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ১১২)
12	আমি তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ, তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের কিছু দৃষ্টান্ত এবং আল্লাহ ভীরুদের জন্যে দিয়েছি উপদেশ। We have already sent down to you verses making things clear, an illustration from (the story of) people who passed away before you, and an admonition for those who fear (Allah).	(আন-নূর: আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
13	আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের জ্যোতি, তাঁর জ্যোতির উদাহরণ যেন একটি কুলঙ্গি, যাতে আছে একটি প্রদীপ, প্রদীপটি একটি কাঁচপাত্রে স্থাপিত, কাঁচপাত্রটি উজ্জ্বল নক্ষত্র সদৃশ্য। তাতে পুতঃপবিত্র যয়তুন বৃক্ষের তৈল প্রজ্বলিত হয়, যা পূর্বমুখী নয় এবং পশ্চিমমুখীও নয়। অগ্নি স্পর্শ না করলেও তার তৈল যেন আলোকিত হওয়ার নিকটবর্তী। জ্যোতির উপর জ্যোতি। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ দেখান তাঁর জ্যোতির দিকে। আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্যে দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন এবং আল্লাহ সব বিষয়ে জ্ঞাত। Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.	(আন-নূর: আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
14	দেখুন, তারা আপনার কেমন দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করে! অতএব তারা পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে, এখন তারা পথ পেতে পারে না। See what kinds of comparisons they make for thee! But they have gone astray, and never a way will they be able to find!	(আল-ফুরকান: আয়াতঃ ৯)
15	আমি প্রত্যেকের জন্যেই দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছি এবং প্রত্যেককেই সম্পুর্ণরূপে ধ্বংস করেছি। To each one We set forth Parables and examples; and each one We broke to utter annihilation (for their sins).	(আল-ফুরকান: আয়াতঃ ৩৯)
16	আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে একটি দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেনঃ তোমাদের আমি যে রুযী দিয়েছি, তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্ত দাস-দাসীরা কি তাতে তোমাদের সমান সমান অংশীদার? তোমরা কি তাদেরকে সেরূপ ভয় কর, যেরূপ নিজেদের লোককে ভয় কর? এমনিভাবে আমি সমঝদার সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা করি। He does propound to you a similitude from your own (experience): do ye have partners among those whom your right hands possess, to share as equals in the wealth We have bestowed on you? Do ye fear them as ye fear each other? Thus do we explain the Signs in detail to a people that understand.	(আর-রূম: আয়াতঃ ২৮)
17	আমি এই কোরআনে মানুষের জন্য সর্বপ্রকার দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছি। আপনি যদি তাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন উপস্থিত করেন, তবে কাফেররা অবশ্যই বলবে, তোমরা সবাই মিথ্যাপন্থী। verily We have propounded for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable: But if thou bring to them any Sign, the Unbelievers are sure to say, "Ye do nothing but talk vanities."	(আর-রূম: আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
18	আপনি তাদের কাছে সে জনপদের অধিবাসীদের দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করুন, যখন সেখানে রসূল আগমন করেছিলেন। Set forth to them, by way of a parable, the (story of) the Companions of the City. Behold!, there came messengers to it.	(ইয়াসীন: আয়াতঃ ১৩)
19	আমি এ কোরআনে মানুষের জন্যে সব দৃষ্টান্তই বর্ণনা করেছি, যাতে তারা অনুধাবন করে; We have put forth for men, in this Qur'an every kind of Parable, in order that they may receive admonition.	(আল-যুমার: আয়াতঃ ২৭)
20	আল্লাহ এক দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেনঃ একটি লোকের উপর পরস্পর বিরোধী কয়জন মালিক রয়েছে, আরেক ব্যক্তির প্রভু মাত্র একজন-তাদের উভয়ের অবস্থা কি সমান? সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই জানে না। Allah puts forth a Parable a man belonging to many partners at variance with each other, and a man belonging entirely to one master: are those two equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! but most of them have no knowledge.	(আল-যুমার: আয়াতঃ ২৯)
21	অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে করে দিলাম অতীত লোক ও দৃষ্টান্ত পরবর্তীদের জন্যে। And We made them (a people) of the Past and an Example to later ages.	(যুখরুফ: আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
22	যখনই মরিয়ম তনয়ের দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করা হল, তখনই আপনার সম্প্রদায় হঞ্জগোল শুরু করে দিল When (Jesus) the son of Mary is held up as an example, behold, thy people raise a clamour thereat (in ridicule)!	(যুখরুফ: আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
23	এটা এ কারণে যে, যারা কাফের, তারা বাতিলের অনুসরণ করে এবং যারা বিশ্বাসী, তারা তাদের পালনকর্তার নিকট থেকে আগত সত্যের অনুসরণ করে। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ মানুষের জন্যে তাদের দৃষ্টান্তসমূহ বর্ণনা করেন। This because those who reject Allah follow vanities, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord: Thus does Allah set forth for men their lessons by similitudes.	(মুহাম্মদ: আয়াতঃ ৩)
24	যদি আমি এই কোরআন পাহাড়ের উপর অবতীর্ণ করতাম, তবে তুমি দেখতে যে, পাহাড় বিনীত হয়ে আল্লাহ তা’আলার ভয়ে বিদীর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। আমি এসব দৃষ্টান্ত মানুষের জন্যে বর্ণনা করি, যাতে তারা চিন্তা-ভাবনা করে। Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.	(আল হাশর: আয়াতঃ ২১)
25	যাদেরকে তওরাত দেয়া হয়েছিল, অতঃপর তারা তার অনুসরণ করেনি, তাদের দৃষ্টান্ত সেই গাধা, যে পুস্তক বহন করে, যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে মিথ্যা বলে, তাদের দৃষ্টান্ত কত নিকৃষ্ট। আল্লাহ জালেম সম্প্রদায়কে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না। The similitude of those who were charged with the (obligations of the) Mosaic Law, but who subsequently failed in those (obligations), is that of a donkey which carries huge tomes (but understands them not). Evil is the similitude of people who falsify the Signs of Allah: and Allah guides not people who do wrong.	(আল জুমুআহ: আয়াতঃ ৫)
26	আল্লাহ তা’আলা কাফেরদের জন্যে নূহ-পত্নী ও লূত-পত্নীর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন। তারা ছিল আমার দুই ধর্মপরায়ণ বান্দার গৃহে। অতঃপর তারা তাদের সাথে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করল। ফলে নূহ ও লূত তাদেরকে আল্লাহ তা’আলার কবল থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারল না এবং তাদেরকে বলা হলঃ জাহান্নামীদের সাথে জাহান্নামে চলে যাও। Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!"	(আত-তাহরীম: আয়াতঃ ১০)
27	আল্লাহ তা’আলা মুমিনদের জন্যে ফেরাউন-পত্নীর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন। সে বললঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আপনার সন্নিকটে জান্নাতে আমার জন্যে একটি গৃহ নির্মাণ করুন, আমাকে ফেরাউন ও তার দুস্কর্ম থেকে উদ্ধার করুন এবং আমাকে যালেম সম্প্রদায় থেকে মুক্তি দিন। And Allah sets forth, as an example to those who believe the wife of Pharaoh: Behold she said: "O my Lord! Build for me, in nearness to Thee, a mansion in the Garden, and save me from Pharaoh and his doings, and save me from those that do wrong";	(আত-তাহরীম: আয়াতঃ ১১)
28	আর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন এমরান-তনয়া মরিয়মের, যে তার সতীত্ব বজায় রেখেছিল। অতঃপর আমি তার মধ্যে আমার পক্ষ থেকে জীবন ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম এবং সে তার পালনকর্তার বানী ও কিতাবকে সত্যে পরিণত করেছিল। সে ছিল বিনয় প্রকাশকারীনীদের একজন। And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).	(আত-তাহরীম: আয়াতঃ ১২)
