| 1 | সে বলল-কি দুর্ভাগ্য আমার! আমি সন্তান প্রসব করব? অথচ আমি বার্ধক্যের শেষ প্রান্তে এসে উপনীত হয়েছি আর আমার স্বামীও বৃদ্ধ, এতো ভারী আশ্চর্য কথা। She said: "Alas for me! shall I bear a child, seeing I am an old woman, and my husband here is an old man? That would indeed be a wonderful thing!" |

| 2 | মূসা (আঃ) তাদেরকে বললেনঃ দুর্ভাগ্য তোমাদের; তোমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি মিথ্যা আরোপ করো না। তাহলে তিনি তোমাদেরকে আযাব দ্বারা ধবংস করে দেবেন। যে মিথ্যা উদভাবন করে, সেই বিফল মনোরথ হয়েছে। Moses said to him: Woe to you! Forge not ye a lie against Allah, lest He destroy you (at once) utterly by chastisement: the forger must suffer frustration!" |

| 3 | আপনার পালনকর্তার আযাবের কিছুমাত্রও তাদেরকে স্পর্শ করলে তারা বলতে থাকবে, হায় আমাদের দুর্ভাগ্য, আমরা অবশ্যই পাপী ছিলাম। If but a breath of the Wrath of thy Lord do touch them, they will then say, "Woe to us! we did wrong indeed!" |
