| 1 | তারা বলল, তুমি কি আমাদেরকে সে পথ থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে এসেছ যাতে আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের বাপ-দাদাদেরকে? আর যাতে তোমরা দুইজন এদেশের সর্দারী পেয়ে যেতে পার? আমরা তোমাদেরকে কিছুতেই মানব না। They said: "Hast thou come to us to turn us away from the ways we found our fathers following,- in order that thou and thy brother may have greatness in the land? But not we shall believe in you!" |

| 2 | তারা বললঃ এই দুইজন নিশ্চিতই যাদুকর, তারা তাদের যাদু দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করতে চায় এবং তোমাদের উৎকৃষ্ট জীবন ব্যবস্থা রহিত করতে চায়। They said: "These two are certainly (expert) magicians: their object is to drive you out from your land with their magic, and to do away with your most cherished institutions. |
