“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”

নং আয়াত সূরা
1 নিঃসন্দেহে যারা মুসলমান হয়েছে এবং যারা ইহুদী, নাসারা ও সাবেঈন, (তাদের মধ্য থেকে) যারা ঈমান এনেছে আল্লাহর প্রতি ও কিয়ামত দিবসের প্রতি এবং সৎকাজ করেছে, তাদের জন্য রয়েছে তার সওয়াব তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে। আর তাদের কোনই ভয়-ভীতি নেই, তারা দুঃখিতও হবে না।
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
2 নিশ্চয়ই যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে, সৎকাজ করেছে, নামায প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছে এবং যাকাত দান করেছে, তাদের জন্যে তাদের পুরষ্কার তাদের পালনকর্তার কছে রয়েছে। তাদের কোন শঙ্কা নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, and establish regular prayers and regular charity, will have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭৭)
3 আর তোমরা নিরাশ হয়ো না এবং দুঃখ করো না। যদি তোমরা মুমিন হও তবে, তোমরাই জয়ী হবে।
So lose not heart, nor fall into despair: For ye must gain mastery if ye are true in Faith.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৯)
4 আর তোমরা উপরে উঠে যাচ্ছিলে এবং পেছন দিকে ফিরে তাকাচ্ছিলে না কারো প্রতি, অথচ রসূল ডাকছিলেন তোমাদিগকে তোমাদের পেছন দিক থেকে। অতঃপর তোমাদের উপর এলো শোকের ওপরে শোক, যাতে তোমরা হাত থেকে বেরিয়ে যাওয়া বস্তুর জন্য দুঃখ না কর এবং যার সম্মুখীণ হচ্ছ সেজন্য বিমর্ষ না হও। আর আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজের ব্যাপারে অবহিত রয়েছেন।
Behold! ye were climbing up the high ground, without even casting a side glance at any one, and the Messenger in your rear was calling you back. There did Allah give you one distress after another by way of requital, to teach you not to grieve for (the booty) that had escaped you and for (the ill) that had befallen you. For Allah is well aware of all that ye do.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৩)
5 বললেনঃ এ দেশ চল্লিশ বছর পর্যন্ত তাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হল। তারা ভুপৃষ্ঠে উদভ্রান্ত হয়ে ফিরবে। অতএব, আপনি অবাধ্য সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না।
Allah said: "Therefore will the land be out of their reach for forty years: In distraction will they wander through the land: But sorrow thou not over these rebellious people.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
6 হে রসূল, তাদের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না, যারা দৌড়ে গিয়ে কুফরে পতিত হয়; যারা মুখে বলেঃ আমরা মুসলমান, অথচ তাদের অন্তর মুসলমান নয় এবং যারা ইহুদী; মিথ্যাবলার জন্যে তারা গুপ্তচর বৃত্তি করে। তারা অন্যদলের গুপ্তচর, যারা আপনার কাছে আসেনি। তারা বাক্যকে স্বস্থান থেকে পরিবর্তন করে। তারা বলেঃ যদি তোমরা এ নির্দেশ পাও, তবে কবুল করে নিও এবং যদি এ নির্দেশ না পাও, তবে বিরত থেকো। আল্লাহ যাকে পথভ্রষ্ট করতে চান, তার জন্যে আল্লাহর কাছে আপনি কিছু করতে পারবেন না। এরা এমনিই যে, আল্লাহ এদের অন্তরকে পবিত্র করতে চান না। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে দুনিয়াতে লাঞ্ছনা এবং পরকালে বিরাট শাস্তি।
O Messenger! let not those grieve thee, who race each other into unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say "We believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews,- men who will listen to any lie,- will listen even to others who have never so much as come to thee. They change the words from their (right) times and places: they say, "If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware!" If any one's trial is intended by Allah, thou hast no authority in the least for him against Allah. For such - it is not Allah's will to purify their hearts. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a heavy punishment.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
7 বলে দিনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, তোমরা কোন পথেই নও, যে পর্যন্ত না তোমরা তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল এবং যে গ্রন্থ তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে তাও পুরোপুরি পালন না কর। আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে আপনার প্রতি যা অবর্তীণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে তাদের অনেকের অবাধ্যতা ও কুফর বৃদ্ধি পাবে। অতএব, এ কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না।
Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
8 নিশ্চয় যারা মুসলমান, যারা ইহুদী, ছাবেয়ী বা খ্রীষ্টান, তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে আল্লাহর প্রতি, কিয়ামতের প্রতি এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করে, তাদের কোন ভয় নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
Those who believe (in the Qur'an), those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Sabians and the Christians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness,- on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
9 আমার জানা আছে যে, তাদের উক্তি আপনাকে দুঃখিত করে। অতএব, তারা আপনাকে মিথ্যা প্রতিপন্ন করে না, বরং জালেমরা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনাবলীকে অস্বীকার করে।
We know indeed the grief which their words do cause thee: It is not thee they reject: it is the signs of Allah, which the wicked contemn.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
10 আমি পয়গম্বরদেরকে প্রেরণ করি না, কিন্তু সুসংবাদাতা ও ভীতি প্রদর্শকরূপে অতঃপর যে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সংশোধিত হয়, তাদের কোন শঙ্কা নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
We send the messengers only to give good news and to warn: so those who believe and mend (their lives),- upon them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
11 আপনি বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তা থেকে মুক্তি দেন এব সব দুঃখ-বিপদ থেকে। তথাপি তোমরা শেরক কর।
Say "It is Allah that delivereth you from these and all (other) distresses: and yet ye worship false gods!"		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
12 হে বনী-আদম, যদি তোমাদের কাছে তোমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বর আগমন করে তোমাদেরকে আমার আয়াত সমূহ শুনায়, তবে যে ব্যক্তি সংযত হয় এবং সৎকাজ অবলম্বন করে, তাদের কোন আশঙ্কা নেই এবং তারা দুঃখিত হবে না।
O ye Children of Adam! whenever there come to you messengers from amongst you, rehearsing My signs unto you,- those who are righteous and mend (their lives),- on them shall be no fear nor shall they grieve.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
13 তাদের অন্তরে যা কিছু দুঃখ ছিল, আমি তা বের করে দেব। তাদের তলদেশ দিয়ে নির্ঝরণী প্রবাহিত হবে। তারা বলবেঃ আল্লাহ শোকর, যিনি আমাদেরকে এ পর্যন্ত পৌছিয়েছেন। আমরা কখনও পথ পেতাম না, যদি আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন না করতেন। আমাদের প্রতিপালকের রসূল আমাদের কাছে সত্যকথা নিয়ে এসেছিলেন। আওয়াজ আসবেঃ এটি জান্নাত। তোমরা এর উত্তরাধিকারী হলে তোমাদের কর্মের প্রতিদানে।
And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury;- beneath them will be rivers flowing;- and they shall say: "Praise be to Allah, who hath guided us to this (felicity): never could we have found guidance, had it not been for the guidance of Allah: indeed it was the truth, that the messengers of our Lord brought unto us." And they shall hear the cry: "Behold! the garden before you! Ye have been made its inheritors, for your deeds (of righteousness)."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
14 এরা কি তারাই; যাদের সম্পর্কে তোমরা কসম খেয়ে বলতে যে, আল্লাহ এদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ করবেন না। প্রবেশ কর জান্নাতে। তোমাদের কোন আশঙ্কা নেই এবং তোমরা দুঃখিত হবে না।
"Behold! are these not the men whom you swore that Allah with His Mercy would never bless? Enter ye the Garden: no fear shall be on you, nor shall ye grieve."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
15 অনন্তর সে তাদের কাছ থেকে প্রস্থান করল এবং বললঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, আমি তোমাদেরকে প্রতিপালকের পয়গাম পৌছে দিয়েছি এবং তোমাদের হিত কামনা করেছি। এখন আমি কাফেরদের জন্যে কেন দুঃখ করব।
So Shu'aib left them, saying: "O my people! I did indeed convey to you the messages for which I was sent by my Lord: I gave you good counsel, but how shall I lament over a people who refuse to believe!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
16 আর না আছে তাদের উপর যারা এসেছে তোমার নিকট যেন তুমি তাদের বাহন দান কর এবং তুমি বলেছ, আমার কাছে এমন কোন বস্তু নেই যে, তার উপর তোমাদের সওয়ার করাব তখন তারা ফিরে গেছে অথচ তখন তাদের চোখ দিয়ে অশ্রু বইতেছিল এ দুঃখে যে, তারা এমন কোন বস্তু পাচ্ছে না যা ব্যয় করবে।
Nor (is there blame) on those who came to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst, "I can find no mounts for you," they turned back, their eyes streaming with tears of grief that they had no resources wherewith to provide the expenses.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯২)
17 তোমাদের কাছে এসেছে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকেই একজন রসূল। তোমাদের দুঃখ-কষ্ট তার পক্ষে দুঃসহ। তিনি তোমাদের মঙ্গলকামী, মুমিনদের প্রতি স্নেহশীল, দয়াময়।
Now hath come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২৮)
18 আর তাদের কথায় দুঃখ নিয়ো না। আসলে সমস্ত ক্ষমতা আল্লাহর। তিনিই শ্রবণকারী, সর্বজ্ঞ।
Let not their speech grieve thee: for all power and honour belong to Allah: It is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
19 আর যদি তার উপর আপতিত দুঃখ কষ্টের পরে তাকে সুখভোগ করতে দেই, তবে সে বলতে থাকে যে, আমার অমঙ্গল দূর হয়ে গেছে, আর সে আনন্দে আত্নহারা হয়, অহঙ্কারে উদ্দত হয়ে পড়ে।
But if We give him a taste of (Our) favours after adversity hath touched him, he is sure to say, "All evil has departed from me:" Behold! he falls into exultation and pride.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
20 যখন তারা ইউসুফের কাছে উপস্থিত হল, তখন সে আপন ভ্রাতাকে নিজের কাছে রাখল। বললঃ নিশ্চই আমি তোমার সহোদর। অতএব তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে দুঃখ করো না।
Now when they came into Joseph's presence, he received his (full) brother to stay with him. He said (to him): "Behold! I am thy (own) brother; so grieve not at aught of their doings."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
21 এবং তাদের দিক থেকে তিনি মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিলেন এবং বললেনঃ হায় আফসোস ইউসুফের জন্যে। এবং দুঃখে তাঁর চক্ষুদ্বয় সাদা হয়ে গেল। এবং অসহনীয় মনস্তাপে তিনি ছিলেন ক্লিষ্ট।
And he turned away from them, and said: "How great is my grief for Joseph!" And his eyes became white with sorrow, and he fell into silent melancholy.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪)
22 তিনি বললেনঃ আমি তো আমার দুঃখ ও অস্থিরতা আল্লাহর সমীপেই নিবেদন করছি এবং আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে আমি যা জানি, তা তোমরা জান না।
He said: "I only complain of my distraction and anguish to Allah, and I know from Allah that which ye know not...		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
23 তোমাদের কাছে যে সমস্ত নেয়ামত আছে, তা আল্লাহরই পক্ষ থেকে। অতঃপর তোমরা যখন দুঃখে-কষ্টে পতিত হও তখন তাঁরই নিকট কান্নাকাটি কর।
And ye have no good thing but is from Allah: and moreover, when ye are touched by distress, unto Him ye cry with groans;		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
24 তাকে শোনানো সুসংবাদের দুঃখে সে লোকদের কাছ থেকে মুখ লুকিয়ে থাকে। সে ভাবে, অপমান সহ্য করে তাকে থাকতে দেবে, না তাকে মাটির নীচে পুতে ফেলবে। শুনে রাখ, তাদের ফয়সালা খুবই নিকৃষ্ট।
With shame does he hide himself from his people, because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain it on (sufferance and) contempt, or bury it in the dust? Ah! what an evil (choice) they decide on?		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
25 যারা দুঃখ-কষ্ট ভোগের পর দেশত্যাগী হয়েছে অতঃপর জেহাদ করেছে, নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা এসব বিষয়ের পরে অবশ্যই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
But verily thy Lord,- to those who leave their homes after trials and persecutions,- and who thereafter strive and fight for the faith and patiently persevere,- Thy Lord, after all this is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১১০)
26 আপনি সবর করবেন। আপনার সবর আল্লাহর জন্য ব্যতীত নয়, তাদের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না এবং তাদের চক্রান্তের কারণে মন ছোট করবেন না।
And do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from Allah; nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১২৭)
27 অতঃপর ফেরেশতা তাকে নিম্নদিক থেকে আওয়ায দিলেন যে, তুমি দুঃখ করো না। তোমার পালনকর্তা তোমার পায়ের তলায় একটি নহর জারি করেছেন।
But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
28 যখন তোমার ভগিনী এসে বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলে দেব কে তাকে লালন পালন করবে। অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে তোমার মাতার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, যাতে তার চক্ষু শীতল হয় এবং দুঃখ না পায়। তুমি এক ব্যক্তিকে হত্যা করেছিলে, অতঃপর আমি তোমাকে এই দুশ্চিন্তা থেকে মুক্তি দেই; আমি তোমাকে অনেক পরীক্ষা করেছি। অতঃপর তুমি কয়েক বছর মাদইয়ান বাসীদের মধ্যে অবস্থান করেছিলে; হে মূসা, অতঃপর তুমি নির্ধারিত সময়ে এসেছ।
"Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses!		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
29 এবং স্মরণ করুন আইয়্যুবের কথা, যখন তিনি তাঁর পালনকর্তাকে আহবান করে বলেছিলেনঃ আমি দুঃখকষ্টে পতিত হয়েছি এবং আপনি দয়াবানদের চাইতেও সর্বশ্রেষ্ট দয়াবান।
And (remember) Job, when He cried to his Lord, "Truly distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful."		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
30 অতঃপর আমি তাঁর আহবানে সাড়া দিলাম এবং তাঁর দুঃখকষ্ট দূর করে দিলাম এবং তাঁর পরিবরাবর্গ ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, আর তাদের সাথে তাদের সমপরিমাণ আরও দিলাম আমার পক্ষ থেকে কৃপাবশতঃ আর এটা এবাদত কারীদের জন্যে উপদেশ স্বরূপ।
So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his people to him, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who serve Us.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪)
31 তাদের কারণে আপনি দুঃখিত হবেন না এবং তারা যে চক্রান্ত করেছে এতে মনঃক্ষুন্ন হবেন না।
But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
32 আমি মূসা-জননীকে আদেশ পাঠালাম যে, তাকে স্তন্য দান করতে থাক। অতঃপর যখন তুমি তার সম্পর্কে বিপদের আশংকা কর, তখন তাকে দরিয়ায় নিক্ষেপ কর এবং ভয় করো না, দুঃখও করো না। আমি অবশ্যই তাকে তোমার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দেব এবং তাকে পয়গম্বরগণের একজন করব।
So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our messengers."		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
33 অতঃপর ফেরাউন পরিবার মূসাকে কুড়িয়ে নিল, যাতে তিনি তাদের শত্রু ও দুঃখের কারণ হয়ে যান। নিশ্চয় ফেরাউন, হামান, ও তাদের সৈন্যবাহিনী অপরাধী ছিল।
Then the people of Pharaoh picked him up (from the river): (It was intended) that (Moses) should be to them an adversary and a cause of sorrow: for Pharaoh and Haman and (all) their hosts were men of sin.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
34 অতঃপর আমি তাকে জননীর কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, যাতে তার চক্ষু জুড়ায় এবং তিনি দুঃখ না করেন এবং যাতে তিনি জানেন যে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, কিন্তু অনেক মানুষ তা জানে না।
Thus did We restore him to his mother, that her eye might be comforted, that she might not grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true: but most of them do not understand.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
35 যখন আমার প্রেরিত ফেরেশতাগণ লূতের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন তাদের কারণে সে বিষন্ন হয়ে পড়ল এবং তার মন সংকীর্ণ হয়ে গেল। তারা বলল, ভয় করবেন না এবং দুঃখ করবেন না। আমরা আপনাকে ও আপনার পরিবারবর্গকে রক্ষা করবই আপনার স্ত্রী ব্যতীত, সে ধ্বংস প্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত থাকবে।
And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
36 মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন তারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে আহবান করে তাঁরই অভিমুখী হয়ে। অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাদেরকে রহমতের স্বাদ আস্বাদন করান, তখন তাদের একদল তাদের পালনকর্তার সাথে শিরক করতে থাকে,
When trouble touches men, they cry to their Lord, turning back to Him in repentance: but when He gives them a taste of Mercy as from Himself, behold, some of them pay part-worship to other god's besides their Lord,-		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
37 আপনি তাদের মধ্যে যাকে ইচ্ছা দূরে রাখতে পারেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা কাছে রাখতে পারেন। আপনি যাকে দূরে রেখেছেন, তাকে কামনা করলে তাতে আপনার কোন দোষ নেই। এতে অধিক সম্ভাবনা আছে যে, তাদের চক্ষু শীতল থাকবে; তারা দুঃখ পাবে না এবং আপনি যা দেন, তাতে তারা সকলেই সন্তুষ্ট থাকবে। তোমাদের অন্তরে যা আছে, আল্লাহ জানেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, সহনশীল।
Thou mayest defer (the turn of) any of them that thou pleasest, and thou mayest receive any thou pleasest: and there is no blame on thee if thou invite one whose (turn) thou hadst set aside. This were nigher to the cooling of their eyes, the prevention of their grief, and their satisfaction - that of all of them - with that which thou hast to give them: and Allah knows (all) that is in your hearts: and Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
38 অতএব তাদের কথা যেন আপনাকে দুঃখিত না করে। আমি জানি যা তারা গোপনে করে এবং যা তারা প্রকাশ্যে করে।
Let not their speech, then, grieve thee. Verily We know what they hide as well as what they disclose.		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
39 যখন মানুষকে দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে একাগ্রচিত্তে তার পালনকর্তাকে ডাকে, অতঃপর তিনি যখন তাকে নেয়ামত দান করেন, তখন সে কষ্টের কথা বিস্মৃত হয়ে যায়, যার জন্যে পূর্বে ডেকেছিল এবং আল্লাহর সমকক্ষ স্থির করে; যাতে করে অপরকে আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত করে। বলুন, তুমি তোমার কুফর সহকারে কিছুকাল জীবনোপভোগ করে নাও। নিশ্চয় তুমি জাহান্নামীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত।
When some trouble toucheth man, he crieth unto his Lord, turning to Him in repentance: but when He bestoweth a favour upon him as from Himself, (man) doth forget what he cried and prayed for before, and he doth set up rivals unto Allah, thus misleading others from Allah's Path. Say, "Enjoy thy blasphemy for a little while: verily thou art (one) of the Companions of the Fire!"		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
40 মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে আমাকে ডাকতে শুরু করে, এরপর আমি যখন তাকে আমার পক্ষ থেকে নেয়ামত দান করি, তখন সে বলে, এটা তো আমি পূর্বের জানা মতেই প্রাপ্ত হয়েছি। অথচ এটা এক পরীক্ষা, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বোঝে না।
Now, when trouble touches man, he cries to Us: But when We bestow a favour upon him as from Ourselves, he says, "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge (I have)!" Nay, but this is but a trial, but most of them understand not!		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
41 হে আমার বান্দাগণ, তোমাদের আজ কোন ভয় নেই এবং তোমরা দুঃখিতও হবে না।
My devotees! no fear shall be on you that Day, nor shall ye grieve,-		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
42 এটা এজন্যে বলা হয়, যাতে তোমরা যা হারাও তজ্জন্যে দুঃখিত না হও এবং তিনি তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছেন, তজ্জন্যে উল্লসিত না হও। আল্লাহ কোন উদ্ধত অহংকারীকে পছন্দ করেন না,
In order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by, nor exult over favours bestowed upon you. For Allah loveth not any vainglorious boaster,-		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
43 এই কানাঘুষা তো শয়তানের কাজ; মুমিনদেরকে দুঃখ দেয়ার দেয়ার জন্যে। তবে আল্লাহর অনুমতি ব্যতীত সে তাদের কোন ক্ষতি করতে পারবে না। মুমিনদের উচিত আল্লাহর উপর ভরসা করা।
Secret counsels are only (inspired) by the Evil One, in order that he may cause grief to the Believers; but he cannot harm them in the least, except as Allah permits; and on Allah let the Believers put their trust.		 (আল মুজাদালাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
44 আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তার আদেশের অপেক্ষায় সবর করুন এবং মাছওয়ালা ইউনুসের মত হবেন না, যখন সে দুঃখাকুল মনে প্রার্থনা করেছিল।
So wait with patience for the Command of thy Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish,- when he cried out in agony.		 (আল কলম:
