| 1 | আর মাদইয়ানবাসীদের প্রতি তাদের ভাই শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) কে প্রেরণ করেছি। তিনি বললেন-হে আমার কওম! আল্লাহর বন্দেগী কর, তিনি ছাড়া আমাদের কোন মাবুদ নাই। আর পরিমাপে ও ওজনে কম দিও না, আজ আমি তোমাদেরকে ভাল অবস্থায়ই দেখছি, কিন্তু আমি তোমাদের উপর এমন একদিনের আযাবের আশঙ্কা করছি যেদিনটি পরিবেষ্টনকারী। To the Madyan People (We sent) Shu'aib, one of their own brethren: he said: "O my people! worship Allah: Ye have no other god but Him. And give not short measure or weight: I see you in prosperity, but I fear for you the penalty of a day that will compass (you) all round. |

| 2 | নিশ্চয় ইহার মধ্যে নিদর্শন রয়েছে এমন প্রতিটি মানুষের জন্য যে আখেরাতের আযাবকে ভয় করে। উহা এমন একদিন, যে দিন সব মানুষেই সমবেত হবে, সেদিনটি যে হাযিরের দিন। In that is a Sign for those who fear the penalty of the Hereafter: that is a Day for which mankind will be gathered together: that will be a Day of Testimony. |

| 3 | সেদিন সত্যিকার রাজত্ব হবে দয়াময় আল্লাহর এবং কাফেরদের পক্ষে দিনটি হবে কঠিন। That Day, the dominion as of right and truth, shall be (wholly) for (Allah) Most Merciful: it will be a Day of dire difficulty for the misbelievers. |
