| 1 | যারা আল্লাহর রাস্তায় স্বীয় ধন সম্পদ ব্যয় করে, তাদের উদাহরণ একটি বীজের মত, যা থেকে সাতটি শীষ জন্মায়। প্রত্যেকটি শীষে একশ করে দানা থাকে। আল্লাহ অতি দানশীল, সর্বজ্ঞ। The parable of those who spend their substance in the way of Allah is that of a grain of corn: it groweth seven ears, and each ear Hath a hundred grains. Allah giveth manifold increase to whom He pleaseth: And Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things. |

| 2 | আমি কেয়ামতের দিন ন্যায়বিচারের মানদন্ড স্থাপন করব। সুতরাং কারও প্রতি জুলুম হবে না। যদি কোন আমল সরিষার দানা পরিমাণও হয়, আমি তা উপস্থিত করব এবং হিসাব গ্রহণের জন্যে আমিই যথেষ্ট। We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account. |

| 3 | হে বৎস, কোন বস্তু যদি সরিষার দানা পরিমাণও হয় অতঃপর তা যদি থাকে প্রস্তর গর্ভে অথবা আকাশে অথবা ভূ-গর্ভে, তবে আল্লাহ তাও উপস্থিত করবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ গোপন ভেদ জানেন, সবকিছুর খবর রাখেন। "O my son!" (said Luqman), "If there be (but) the weight of a mustard-seed and it were (hidden) in a rock, or (anywhere) in the heavens or on earth, Allah will bring it forth: for Allah understands the finest mysteries, (and) is well-acquainted (with them). |
