| 1 | বিদ্যুতালোকে যখন সামান্য আলোকিত হয়, তখন কিছুটা পথ চলে। আবার যখন অন্ধকার হয়ে যায়, তখন ঠাঁয় দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে। যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করেন, তাহলে তাদের শ্রবণশক্তি ও দৃষ্টিশক্তি ছিনিয়ে নিতে পারেন। আল্লাহ যাবতীয় বিষয়ের উপর সর্বময় ক্ষমতাশীল। The lightning all but snatches away their sight; every time the light (Helps) them, they walk therein, and when the darkness grows on them, they stand still. And if Allah willed, He could take away their faculty of hearing and seeing; for Allah hath power over all things. |

| 2 | তারপর, মরে যাবার পর তোমাদিগকে আমি তুলে দাঁড় করিয়েছি, যাতে করে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করে নাও। Then We raised you up after your death: Ye had the chance to be grateful. |

| 3 | যখন আমি কা’বা গৃহকে মানুষের জন্যে সম্মিলন স্থল ও শান্তির আলয় করলাম, আর তোমরা ইব্রাহীমের দাঁড়ানোর জায়গাকে নামাযের জায়গা বানাও এবং আমি ইব্রাহীম ও ইসমাঈলকে আদেশ করলাম, তোমরা আমার গৃহকে তওয়াফকারী, অবস্থানকারী ও রুকু-সেজদাকারীদের জন্য পবিত্র রাখ। Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Isma'il, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, or bow, or prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). |

| 4 | সম্মানিত মাস সম্পর্কে তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, তাতে যুদ্ধ করা কেমন? বলে দাও এতে যুদ্ধ করা ভীষণ বড় পাপ। আর আল্লাহর পথে প্রতিবন্দ্বকতা সৃষ্টি করা এবং কুফরী করা, মসজিদে-হারামের পথে বাধা দেয়া এবং সেখানকার অধিবাসীদেরকে বহিস্কার করা, আল্লাহর নিকট তার চেয়েও বড় পাপ। আর ধর্মের ব্যাপারে ফেতনা সৃষ্টি করা নরহত্যা অপেক্ষাও মহা পাপ। বস্তুতঃ তারা তো সর্বদাই তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করতে থাকবে, যাতে করে তোমাদিগকে দ্বীন থেকে ফিরিয়ে দিতে পারে যদি সম্ভব হয়। তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা নিজের দ্বীন থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে এবং কাফের অবস্থায় মৃত্যুবরণ করবে, দুনিয়া ও আখেরাতে তাদের যাবতীয় আমল বিনষ্ট হয়ে যাবে। আর তারাই হলো দোযখবাসী। তাতে তারা চিরকাল বাস করবে। They ask thee concerning fighting in the Prohibited Month. Say: "Fighting therein is a grave (offence); but graver is it in the sight of Allah to prevent access to the path of Allah, to deny Him, to prevent access to the Sacred Mosque, and drive out its members." Tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter. Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can. And if any of you Turn back from their faith and die in unbelief, their works will bear no fruit in this life and in the Hereafter; they will be companions of the Fire and will abide therein. |

| 5 | সমস্ত নামাযের প্রতি যত্নবান হও, বিশেষ করে মধ্যবর্তী নামাযের ব্যাপারে। আর আল্লাহর সামনে একান্ত আদবের সাথে দাঁড়াও। Guard strictly your (habit of) prayers, especially the Middle Prayer; and stand before Allah in a devout (frame of mind). |

| 6 | মূসার পরে তুমি কি বনী ইসরাঈলের একটি দলকে দেখনি, যখন তারা বলেছে নিজেদের নবীর কাছে যে, আমাদের জন্য একজন বাদশাহ নির্ধারিত করে দিন যাতে আমরা আল্লাহর পথে যুদ্ধ করতে পারি। নবী বললেন, তোমাদের প্রতিও কি এমন ধারণা করা যায় যে, লড়াইর হুকুম যদি হয়, তাহলে তখন তোমরা লড়বে না? তারা বলল, আমাদের কি হয়েছে যে, আমরা আল্লাহর পথে লড়াই করব না। অথচ আমরা বিতাড়িত হয়েছি নিজেদের ঘর-বাড়ী ও সন্তান-সন্ততি থেকে। অতঃপর যখন লড়াইয়ের নির্দেশ হলো, তখন সামান্য কয়েকজন ছাড়া তাদের সবাই ঘুরে দাঁড়ালো। আর আল্লাহ তা’আলা জালেমদের ভাল করেই জানেন। Hast thou not Turned thy vision to the Chiefs of the Children of Israel after (the time of) Moses? they said to a prophet (That was) among them: "Appoint for us a king, that we May fight in the cause of Allah." He said: "Is it not possible, if ye were commanded to fight, that that ye will not fight?" They said: "How could we refuse to fight in the cause of Allah, seeing that we were turned out of our homes and our families?" but when they were commanded to fight, they turned back, except a small band among them. But Allah Has full knowledge of those who do wrong. |

| 7 | কিন্তু তখন কি অবস্থা দাঁড়াবে যখন আমি তাদেরকে একদিন সমবেত করবো যে দিনের আগমনে কোন সন্দেহ নেই আর নিজেদের কৃতকর্ম তাদের প্রত্যেকেই পাবে তাদের প্রাপ্য প্রদান মোটেই অন্যায় করা হবে না। But how (will they fare) when we gather them together against a day about which there is no doubt, and each soul will be paid out just what it has earned, without (favour or) injustice? |

| 8 | যখন তিনি কামরার ভেতরে নামাযে দাঁড়িয়েছিলেন, তখন ফেরেশতারা তাঁকে ডেকে বললেন যে, আল্লাহ তোমাকে সুসংবাদ দিচ্ছেন ইয়াহইয়া সম্পর্কে, যিনি সাক্ষ্য দেবেন আল্লাহর নির্দেশের সত্যতা সম্পর্কে, যিনি নেতা হবেন এবং নারীদের সংস্পর্শে যাবেন না, তিনি অত্যন্ত সৎকর্মশীল নবী হবেন। While he was standing in prayer in the chamber, the angels called unto him: "Allah doth give thee glad tidings of Yahya, witnessing the truth of a Word from Allah, and (be besides) noble, chaste, and a prophet,- of the (goodly) company of the righteous." |

| 9 | কোন কোন আহলে কিতাব এমনও রয়েছে, তোমরা যদি তাদের কাছে বহু ধন-সম্পদ আমানত রাখ, তাহলেও তা তোমাদের যথারীতি পরিশোধ করবে। আর তোদের মধ্যে অনেক এমনও রয়েছে যারা একটি দীনার গচ্ছিত রাখলেও ফেরত দেবে না-যে পর্যন্ত না তুমি তার মাথার উপর দাঁড়াতে পারবে। এটা এজন্য যে, তারা বলে রেখেছে যে, উম্মীদের অধিকার বিনষ্ট করাতে আমাদের কোন পাপ নেই। আর তারা আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে জেনে শুনেই মিথ্যা বলে। Among the People of the Book are some who, if entrusted with a hoard of gold, will (readily) pay it back; others, who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not repay it unless thou constantly stoodest demanding, because, they say, "there is no call on us (to keep faith) with these ignorant (Pagans)." but they tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it. |

| 10 | অতঃপর যে লোক এই ওয়াদা থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে, সেই হবে নাফরমান। If any turn back after this, they are perverted transgressors. |
(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ৮২) |
| 11 | তোমাদের যে দুটি দল লড়াইয়ের দিনে ঘুরে দাঁড়িয়েছিল শয়তান তাদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেছিল, তাদেরই পাপের দরুন। Those of you who turned back on the day the two hosts Met,-it was Satan who caused them to fail, because of some (evil) they had done. But Allah Has blotted out (their fault): For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing. |
(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৫৫) |
| 12 | যাঁরা দাঁড়িয়ে, বসে, ও শায়িত অবস্থায় আল্লাহকে স্মরণ করে এবং চিন্তা গবেষণা করে আসমান ও জমিন সৃষ্টির বিষযে, (তারা বলে) পরওয়ারদেগার! এসব তুমি অনর্থক সৃষ্টি করনি। সকল পবিত্রতা তোমারই, আমাদিগকে তুমি দোযখের শাস্তি থেকে বাঁচাও। Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire. |

| 13 | আর তখন কি অবস্থা দাঁড়াবে, যখন আমি ডেকে আনব প্রতিটি উম্মতের মধ্য থেকে অবস্থা বর্ণনাকারী এবং আপনাকে ডাকব তাদের উপর অবস্থা বর্ণনাকারীরূপে। How then if We brought from each people a witness, and We brought thee as a witness against these people! |
(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৪১) |
| 14 | যখন আপনি তাদের মধ্যে থাকেন, অতঃপর নামাযে দাঁড়ান, তখন যেন একদল দাঁড়ায় আপনার সাথে এবং তারা যেন স্বীয় অস্ত্র সাথে নেয়। অতঃপর যখন তারা সেজদা সম্পন্ন করে, তখন আপনার কাছ থেকে যেন সরে যায় এবং অন্য দল যেন আসে, যারা নামায পড়েনি। অতঃপর তারা যেন আপনার সাথে নামায পড়ে এবং আত্মরক্ষার হাতিয়ার সাথে নেয়। কাফেররা চায় যে, তোমরা কোন রূপে অসতর্ক থাক, যাতে তারা একযোগে তোমাদেরকে আক্রমণ করে বসে। যদি বৃষ্টির কারণে তোমাদের কষ্ট হয় অথবা তোমরা অসুস্থ হও তবে স্বীয় অস্ত্র পরিত্যাগ করায় তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই এবং সাথে নিয়ে নাও তোমাদের আত্নরক্ষার অস্ত্র। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কাফেরদের জন্যে অপমানকর শাস্তি প্রস্তুত করে রেখেছেন। When thou (O Messenger) art with them, and standest to lead them in prayer, Let one party of them stand up (in prayer) with thee, Taking their arms with them: When they finish their prostrations, let them Take their position in the rear. And let the other party come up which hath not yet prayed - and let them pray with thee, Taking all precaution, and bearing arms: the Unbelievers wish, if ye were negligent of your arms and your baggage, to assault you in a single rush. But there is no blame on you if ye put away your arms because of the inconvenience of rain or because ye are ill; but take (every) precaution for yourselves. For the Unbelievers Allah hath prepared a humiliating punishment. |

| 15 | অবশ্যই মুনাফেকরা প্রতারণা করছে আল্লাহর সাথে, অথচ তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতারিত করে। বস্তুতঃ তারা যখন নামাযে দাঁড়ায় তখন দাঁড়ায়, একান্ত শিথিল ভাবে লোক দেখানোর জন্য। আর তারা আল্লাহকে অল্পই স্মরণ করে। The Hypocrites - they think they are over-reaching Allah, but He will over-reach them: When they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen of men, but little do they hold Allah in remembrance; |

| 16 | আর আপনি যদি দেখেন, যখন তাদেরকে দোযখের উপর দাঁড় করানো হবে! তারা বলবেঃ কতই না ভাল হত, যদি আমরা পুনঃ প্রেরিত হতাম; তা হলে আমরা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসমূহে মিথ্যারোপ করতাম না এবং আমরা বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যেতাম। If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!" |

| 17 | আর যদি আপনি দেখেন; যখন তাদেরকে প্রতিপালকের সামনে দাঁড় করানো হবে। তিনি বলবেনঃ এটা কি বাস্তব সত্য নয়? তারা বলবেঃ হঁ্যা আমাদের প্রতিপালকের কসম। তিনি বলবেনঃ অতএব, স্বীয় কুফরের কারণে শাস্তি আস্বাদন কর। If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with their Lord! He will say: "Is not this the truth?" They will say: "Yea, by our Lord!" He will say: "Taste ye then the penalty, because ye rejected Faith." |
(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ৩০) |
| 18 | আর তাদের মধ্য থেকে কারো মৃত্যু হলে তার উপর কখনও নামায পড়বেন না এবং তার কবরে দাঁড়াবেন না। তারা তো আল্লাহর প্রতি অস্বীকৃতি জ্ঞাপন করেছে এবং রসূলের প্রতিও। বস্তুতঃ তারা না ফরমান অবস্থায় মৃত্যু বরণ করেছে। Nor do thou ever pray for any of them that dies, nor stand at his grave; for they rejected Allah and His Messenger, and died in a state of perverse rebellion. |

| 19 | তুমি কখনো সেখানে দাড়াবে না, তবে যে মসজিদের ভিত্তি রাখা হয়েছে তাকওয়ার উপর প্রথম দিন থেকে, সেটিই তোমার দাঁড়াবার যোগ্য স্থান। সেখানে রয়েছে এমন লোক, যারা পবিত্রতাকে ভালবাসে। আর আল্লাহ পবিত্র লোকদের ভালবাসেন। Never stand thou forth therein. There is a mosque whose foundation was laid from the first day on piety; it is more worthy of the standing forth (for prayer) therein. In it are men who love to be purified; and Allah loveth those who make themselves pure. |

| 20 | আর যখন মানুষ কষ্টের সম্মুখীন হয়, শুয়ে বসে, দাঁড়িয়ে আমাকে ডাকতে থাকে। তারপর আমি যখন তা থেকে মুক্ত করে দেই, সে কষ্ট যখন চলে যায় তখন মনে হয় কখনো কোন কষ্টেরই সম্মুখীন হয়ে যেন আমাকে ডাকেইনি। এমনিভাবে মনঃপুত হয়েছে নির্ভয় লোকদের যা তারা করেছে। When trouble toucheth a man, He crieth unto Us (in all postures)- lying down on his side, or sitting, or standing. But when We have solved his trouble, he passeth on his way as if he had never cried to Us for a trouble that touched him! thus do the deeds of transgressors seem fair in their eyes! |

| 21 | আর যেদিন আমি তাদের সবাইকে সমবেত করব; আর যারা শেরক করত তাদেরকে বলবঃ তোমরা এবং তোমাদের শরীকরা নিজ নিজ জায়গায় দাঁড়িয়ে যাও-অতঃপর তাদেরকে পারস্পরিক বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দেব, তখন তাদের শরীকরা বলবে, তোমরা তো আমাদের উপাসনা-বন্দেগী করনি। One day shall We gather them all together. Then shall We say to those who joined gods (with Us): "To your place! ye and those ye joined as 'partners' We shall separate them, and their "Partners" shall say: "It was not us that ye worshipped! |

| 22 | সে বলল, আমি অচিরেই কোন পাহাড়ে আশ্রয় নেব, যা আমাকে পানি হতে রক্ষা করবে। নূহ (আঃ) বল্লেন আজকের দিনে আল্লাহর হুকুম থেকে কোন রক্ষাকারী নেই। একমাত্র তিনি যাকে দয়া করবেন। এমন সময় উভয়ের মাঝে তরঙ্গ আড়াল হয়ে দাঁড়াল, ফলে সে নিমজ্জিত হল। The son replied: "I will betake myself to some mountain: it will save me from the water." Noah said: "This day nothing can save, from the command of Allah, any but those on whom He hath mercy! "And the waves came between them, and the son was among those overwhelmed in the Flood. |

| 23 | যেদিন আমি প্রত্যেক উম্মত থেকে একজন বর্ণনাকারী দাঁড় করাব, তখন কাফেরদেরকে অনুমতি দেয়া হবে না এবং তাদের তওবা ও গ্রহণ করা হবে না। One Day We shall raise from all Peoples a Witness: then will no excuse be accepted from Unbelievers, nor will they receive any favours. |
(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ৮৪) |
| 24 | সেদিন প্রত্যেক উম্মতের মধ্যে আমি একজন বর্ণনাকারী দাঁড় করাব তাদের বিপক্ষে তাদের মধ্য থেকেই এবং তাদের বিষয়ে আপনাকে সাক্ষী স্বরূপ উপস্থাপন করব। আমি আপনার প্রতি গ্রন্থ নাযিল করেছি যেটি এমন যে তা প্রত্যেক বস্তুর সুস্পষ্ট বর্ণনা, হেদায়েত, রহমত এবং মুসলমানদের জন্যে সুসংবাদ। One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims. |

| 25 | মেপে দেয়ার সময় পূর্ণ মাপে দেবে এবং সঠিক দাঁড়িপালায় ওজন করবে। এটা উত্তম; এর পরিণাম শুভ। Give full measure when ye measure, and weigh with a balance that is straight: that is the most fitting and the most advantageous in the final determination. |
(বনী ইসরাঈল: আয়াতঃ ৩৫) |
| 26 | আমি তাদের মন দৃঢ় করেছিলাম, যখন তারা উঠে দাঁড়িয়েছিল। অতঃপর তারা বললঃ আমাদের পালনকর্তা আসমান ও যমীনের পালনকর্তা আমরা কখনও তার পরিবর্তে অন্য কোন উপাস্যকে আহবান করব না। যদি করি, তবে তা অত্যন্ত গর্হিত কাজ হবে। We gave strength to their hearts: Behold, they stood up and said: "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and of the earth: never shall we call upon any god other than Him: if we did, we should indeed have uttered an enormity! |

| 27 | অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগল, অবশেষে যখন একটি জনপদের অধিবাসীদের কাছে পৌছে তাদের কাছে খাবার চাইল, তখন তারা তাদের অতিথেয়তা করতে অস্বীকার করল। অতঃপর তারা সেখানে একটি পতনোম্মুখ প্রাচীর দেখতে পেলেন, সেটি তিনি সোজা করে দাঁড় করিয়ে দিলেন। মূসা বললেনঃ আপনি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদের কাছ থেকে এর পারিশ্রমিক আদায় করতে পারতেন। Then they proceeded: until, when they came to the inhabitants of a town, they asked them for food, but they refused them hospitality. They found there a wall on the point of falling down, but he set it up straight. (Moses) said: "If thou hadst wished, surely thou couldst have exacted some recompense for it!" |
(কাহফ: আয়াতঃ ৭৭) |
| 28 | এরপর আমি শুক্রবিন্দুকে জমাট রক্তরূপে সৃষ্টি করেছি, অতঃপর জমাট রক্তকে মাংসপিন্ডে পরিণত করেছি, এরপর সেই মাংসপিন্ড থেকে অস্থি সৃষ্টি করেছি, অতঃপর অস্থিকে মাংস দ্বারা আবৃত করেছি, অবশেষে তাকে নতুন রূপে দাঁড় করিয়েছি। নিপুণতম সৃষ্টিকর্তা আল্লাহ কত কল্যাণময়। Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create! |

| 29 | সোজা দাঁড়ি-পাল্লায় ওজন কর। "And weigh with scales true and upright. |
(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ১৮২) |
| 30 | কাফেররা বলে, আমরা কখনও এ কোরআনে বিশ্বাস করব না এবং এর পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবেও নয়। আপনি যদি পাপিষ্ঠদেরকে দেখতেন, যখন তাদেরকে তাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে দাঁড় করানো হবে, , তখন তারা পরস্পর কথা কাটাকাটি করবে। যাদেরকে দুর্বল মনে করা হত, তারা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, তোমরা না থাকলে আমরা অবশ্যই মুমিন হতাম। The Unbelievers say: "We shall neither believe in this scripture nor in (any) that (came) before it." Couldst thou but see when the wrong-doers will be made to stand before their Lord, throwing back the word (of blame) on one another! Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Had it not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!" |

| 31 | বলুন, আমি তোমাদেরকে একটি বিষয়ে উপদেশ দিচ্ছিঃ তোমরা আল্লাহর নামে এক একজন করে ও দু, দু জন করে দাঁড়াও, অতঃপর চিন্তা-ভাবনা কর-তোমাদের সঙ্গীর মধ্যে কোন উম্মাদনা নেই। তিনি তো আসন্ন কাঠোর শাস্তি সম্পর্কে তোমাদেরকে সতর্ক করেন মাত্র। Say: "I do admonish you on one point: that ye do stand up before Allah,- (It may be) in pairs, or (it may be) singly,- and reflect (within yourselves): your Companion is not possessed: he is no less than a warner to you, in face of a terrible Penalty." |

| 32 | শপথ তাদের যারা সারিবদ্ধ হয়ে দাঁড়ানো, By those who range themselves in ranks, |

| 33 | যে ব্যক্তি রাত্রিকালে সেজদার মাধ্যমে অথবা দাঁড়িয়ে এবাদত করে, পরকালের আশংকা রাখে এবং তার পালনকর্তার রহমত প্রত্যাশা করে, সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ করে না; বলুন, যারা জানে এবং যারা জানে না; তারা কি সমান হতে পারে? চিন্তা-ভাবনা কেবল তারাই করে, যারা বুদ্ধিমান। Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord - (like one who does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition. |

| 34 | মুহাম্মদ আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর সহচরগণ কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর, নিজেদের মধ্যে পরস্পর সহানুভূতিশীল। আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনায় আপনি তাদেরকে রুকু ও সেজদারত দেখবেন। তাদের মুখমন্ডলে রয়েছে সেজদার চিহ্ন । তওরাতে তাদের অবস্থা এরূপ এবং ইঞ্জিলে তাদের অবস্থা যেমন একটি চারা গাছ যা থেকে নির্গত হয় কিশলয়, অতঃপর তা শক্ত ও মজবুত হয় এবং কান্ডের উপর দাঁড়ায় দৃঢ়ভাবে-চাষীকে আনন্দে অভিভুত করে-যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের দ্বারা কাফেরদের অন্তর্জালা সৃষ্টি করেন। তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কারের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. |

| 35 | অতঃপর তারা দাঁড়াতে সক্ষম হল না এবং কোন প্রতিকারও করতে পারল না। Then they could not even stand (on their feet), nor could they help themselves. |

| 36 | তারা যখন কোন ব্যবসায়ের সুযোগ অথবা ক্রীড়াকৌতুক দেখে তখন আপনাকে দাঁড়ানো অবস্থায় রেখে তারা সেদিকে ছুটে যায়। বলুনঃ আল্লাহর কাছে যা আছে, তা ক্রীড়াকৌতুক ও ব্যবসায় অপেক্ষা উৎকৃষ্ট। আল্লাহ সর্বোত্তম রিযিকদাতা। But when they see some bargain or some amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave thee standing. Say: "The (blessing) from the Presence of Allah is better than any amusement or bargain! and Allah is the Best to provide (for all needs)." |

| 37 | যেদিন রূহ ও ফেরেশতাগণ সারিবদ্ধভাবে দাঁড়াবে। দয়াময় আল্লাহ যাকে অনুমতি দিবেন, সে ব্যতিত কেউ কথা বলতে পারবে না এবং সে সত্যকথা বলবে। The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by (Allah) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right. |

| 38 | যেদিন মানুষ দাঁড়াবে বিশ্ব পালনকর্তার সামনে। A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? |
