| 1 | আর যখন আমি বললাম, তোমরা প্রবেশ কর এ নগরীতে এবং এতে যেখানে খুশী খেয়ে স্বাচ্ছন্দ্যে বিচরণ করতে থাক এবং দরজার ভিতর দিয়ে প্রবেশ করার সময় সেজদা করে ঢুক, আর বলতে থাক-‘আমাদিগকে ক্ষমা করে দাও’-তাহলে আমি তোমাদের অপরাধ ক্ষমা করব এবং সৎ কর্মশীলদেরকে অতিরিক্ত দানও করব। And remember We said: "Enter this town, and eat of the plenty therein as ye wish; but enter the gate with humility, in posture and in words, and We shall forgive you your faults and increase (the portion of) those who do good." |

| 2 | তারা উভয়ে ছুটে দরজার দিকে গেল এবং মহিলা ইউসুফের জামা পিছন দিক থেকে ছিঁড়ে ফেলল। উভয়ে মহিলার স্বামীকে দরজার কাছে পেল। মহিলা বললঃ যে ব্যক্তি তোমার পরিজনের সাথে কুকর্মের ইচ্ছা করে, তাকে কারাগারে পাঠানো অথবা অন্য কোন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি দেয়া ছাড়া তার আর কি শাস্তি হতে পারে? So they both raced each other to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back: they both found her lord near the door. She said: "What is the (fitting) punishment for one who formed an evil design against thy wife, but prison or a grievous chastisement?" |
