| 1 | নিঃসন্দেহে সাফা ও মারওয়া আল্লাহ তা’আলার নিদর্শন গুলোর অন্যতম। সুতরাং যারা কা’বা ঘরে হজ্ব বা ওমরাহ পালন করে, তাদের পক্ষে এ দুটিতে প্রদক্ষিণ করাতে কোন দোষ নেই। বরং কেউ যদি স্বেচ্ছায় কিছু নেকীর কাজ করে, তবে আল্লাহ তা’আলার অবশ্যই তা অবগত হবেন এবং তার সে আমলের সঠিক মুল্য দেবেন। Behold! Safa and Marwa are among the Symbols of Allah. So if those who visit the House in the Season or at other times, should compass them round, it is no sin in them. And if any one obeyeth his own impulse to good,- be sure that Allah is He Who recogniseth and knoweth. |

| 2 | এবং নারীদের মধ্যে তাদের ছাড়া সকল সধবা স্ত্রীলোক তোমাদের জন্যে নিষিদ্ধ; তোমাদের দক্ষিণ হস্ত যাদের মালিক হয়ে যায়-এটা তোমাদের জন্য আল্লাহর হুকুম। এদেরকে ছাড়া তোমাদের জন্যে সব নারী হালাল করা হয়েছে, শর্ত এই যে, তোমরা তাদেরকে স্বীয় অর্থের বিনিময়ে তলব করবে বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ করার জন্য-ব্যভিচারের জন্য নয়। অনন্তর তাদের মধ্যে যাকে তোমরা ভোগ করবে, তাকে তার নির্ধারিত হক দান কর। তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ হবে না যদি নির্ধারণের পর তোমরা পরস্পরে সম্মত হও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সুবিজ্ঞ, রহস্যবিদ। Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. |

| 3 | হে বনী-ইসরাঈল! আমি তোমাদেরকে তোমাদের শক্রুর কবল থেকে উদ্ধার করেছি, তুর পাহাড়ের দক্ষিণ পার্শ্বে তোমাদেরকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দান করেছি এবং তোমাদের কাছে ‘মান্না’ ও ‘সালওয়া’ নাযিল করেছি। O ye Children of Israel! We delivered you from your enemy, and We made a Covenant with you on the right side of Mount (Sinai), and We sent down to you Manna and quails: |

| 4 | আপনি তো এর পূর্বে কোন কিতাব পাঠ করেননি এবং স্বীয় দক্ষিণ হস্ত দ্বারা কোন কিতাব লিখেননি। এরূপ হলে মিথ্যাবাদীরা অবশ্যই সন্দেহ পোষণ করত। And thou wast not (able) to recite a Book before this (Book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: In that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted. |

| 5 | তারা জাহান্নামের অগ্নি ও ফুটন্ত পানির মাঝখানে প্রদক্ষিণ করবে। In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! |
