নং আয়াত সূরা
1 আর আল্লাহ তা’আলা শিখালেন আদমকে সমস্ত বস্তু-সামগ্রীর নাম। তারপর সে সমস্ত বস্তু-সামগ্রীকে ফেরেশতাদের সামনে উপস্থাপন করলেন। অতঃপর বললেন, আমাকে তোমরা এগুলোর নাম বলে দাও, যদি তোমরা সত্য হয়ে থাক।
And He taught Adam the names of all things; then He placed them before the angels, and said: "Tell me the names of these if ye are right."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
2 বলে দিন, যদি আখেরাতের বাসস্থান আল্লাহর কাছে একমাত্র তোমাদের জন্যই বরাদ্দ হয়ে থাকে-অন্য লোকদের বাদ দিয়ে, তবে মৃত্যু কামনা কর, যদি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক।
Say: "If the last Home, with Allah, be for you specially, and not for anyone else, then seek ye for death, if ye are sincere."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
3 হে মুমিন গণ, তোমরা ‘রায়িনা’ বলো না-‘উনযুরনা’ বল এবং শুনতে থাক। আর কাফেরদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক শাস্তি।
O ye of Faith! Say not (to the Messenger) words of ambiguous import, but words of respect; and hearken (to him): To those without Faith is a grievous punishment.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪)
4 আর তোমরা আল্লাহর উদ্দেশ্যে হজ্জ্ব ওমরাহ পরিপূর্ণ ভাবে পালন কর। যদি তোমরা বাধা প্রাপ্ত হও, তাহলে কোরবানীর জন্য যাকিছু সহজলভ্য, তাই তোমাদের উপর ধার্য। আর তোমরা ততক্ষণ পর্যন্ত মাথা মুন্ডন করবে না, যতক্ষণ না কোরবাণী যথাস্থানে পৌছে যাবে। যারা তোমাদের মধ্যে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়বে কিংবা মাথায় যদি কোন কষ্ট থাকে, তাহলে তার পরিবর্তে রোজা করবে কিংবা খয়রাত দেবে অথবা কুরবানী করবে। আর তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা হজ্জ্ব ওমরাহ একত্রে একই সাথে পালন করতে চাও, তবে যাকিছু সহজলভ্য, তা দিয়ে কুরবানী করাই তার উপর কর্তব্য। বস্তুতঃ যারা কোরবানীর পশু পাবে না, তারা হজ্জ্বের দিনগুলোর মধ্যে রোজা রাখবে তিনটি আর সাতটি রোযা রাখবে ফিরে যাবার পর। এভাবে দশটি রোযা পূর্ণ হয়ে যাবে। এ নির্দেশটি তাদের জন্য, যাদের পরিবার পরিজন মসজিদুল হারামের আশে-পাশে বসবাস করে না। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। সন্দেহাতীতভাবে জেনো যে, আল্লাহর আযাব বড়ই কঠিন।
And complete the Hajj or 'umra in the service of Allah. But if ye are prevented (From completing it), send an offering for sacrifice, such as ye may find, and do not shave your heads until the offering reaches the place of sacrifice. And if any of you is ill, or has an ailment in his scalp, (Necessitating shaving), (He should) in compensation either fast, or feed the poor, or offer sacrifice; and when ye are in peaceful conditions (again), if any one wishes to continue the 'umra on to the hajj, He must make an offering, such as he can afford, but if he cannot afford it, He should fast three days during the hajj and seven days on his return, Making ten days in all. This is for those whose household is not in (the precincts of) the Sacred Mosque. And fear Allah, and know that Allah Is strict in punishment.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৬)
5 আর তোমার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে হায়েয (ঋতু) সম্পর্কে। বলে দাও, এটা অশুচি। কাজেই তোমরা হায়েয অবস্থায় স্ত্রীগমন থেকে বিরত থাক। তখন পর্যন্ত তাদের নিকটবর্তী হবে না, যতক্ষণ না তারা পবিত্র হয়ে যায়। যখন উত্তম রূপে পরিশুদ্ধ হয়ে যাবে, তখন গমন কর তাদের কাছে, যেভাবে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে হুকুম দিয়েছেন। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তওবাকারী এবং অপবিত্রতা থেকে যারা বেঁচে থাকে তাদেরকে পছন্দ করেন।
They ask thee concerning women's courses. Say: They are a hurt and a pollution: So keep away from women in their courses, and do not approach them until they are clean. But when they have purified themselves, ye may approach them in any manner, time, or place ordained for you by Allah. For Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২২২)
6 তোমাদের স্ত্রীরা হলো তোমাদের জন্য শস্য ক্ষেত্র। তোমরা যেভাবে ইচ্ছা তাদেরকে ব্যবহার কর। আর নিজেদের জন্য আগামী দিনের ব্যবস্থা কর এবং আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। আর নিশ্চিতভাবে জেনে রাখ যে, আল্লাহর সাথে তোমাদেরকে সাক্ষাত করতেই হবে। আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে তাদেরকে সুসংবাদ জানিয়ে দাও।
Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will; but do some good act for your souls beforehand; and fear Allah. And know that ye are to meet Him (in the Hereafter), and give (these) good tidings to those who believe.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২২৩)
7 আর যদি তোমরা আকার ইঙ্গিতে সে নারীর বিয়ের পয়গাম দাও, কিংবা নিজেদের মনে গোপন রাখ, তবে তাতেও তোমাদের কোন পাপ নেই, আল্লাহ জানেন যে, তোমরা অবশ্যই সে নারীদের কথা উল্লেখ করবে। কিন্তু তাদের সাথে বিয়ে করার গোপন প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়ে রেখো না। অবশ্য শরীয়তের নির্ধারিত প্রথা অনুযায়ী কোন কথা সাব্যস্ত করে নেবে। আর নির্ধারিত ইদ্দত সমাপ্তি পর্যায়ে না যাওয়া অবধি বিয়ে করার কোন ইচ্ছা করো না। আর একথা জেনে রেখো যে, তোমাদের মনে যে কথা রয়েছে, আল্লাহর তা জানা আছে। কাজেই তাঁকে ভয় করতে থাক। আর জেনে রেখো যে, আল্লাহ ক্ষমাকারী ও ধৈর্য্যশীল।
There is no blame on you if ye make an offer of betrothal or hold it in your hearts. Allah knows that ye cherish them in your hearts: But do not make a secret contract with them except in terms Honourable, nor resolve on the tie of marriage till the term prescribed is fulfilled. And know that Allah Knoweth what is in your hearts, and take heed of Him; and know that Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Forbearing.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৩৫)
8 হে ঈমানদারগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং সুদের যে সমস্ত বকেয়া আছে, তা পরিত্যাগ কর, যদি তোমরা ঈমানদার হয়ে থাক।
O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and give up what remains of your demand for usury, if ye are indeed believers.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৭৮)
9 আর আল্লাহ যখন নবীগনের কাছ থেকে অস্বীকার গ্রহন করলেন যে, আমি যা কিছু তোমাদের দান করেছি কিতাব ও জ্ঞান এবং অতঃপর তোমাদের নিকট কোন রসূল আসেন তোমাদের কিতাবকে সত্য বলে দেয়ার জন্য, তখন সে রসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনবে এবং তার সাহায্য করবে। তিনি বললেন, ‘তোমার কি অঙ্গীকার করছো এবং এই শর্তে আমার ওয়াদা গ্রহণ করে নিয়েছ? তারা বললো, ‘আমরা অঙ্গীকার করেছি’। তিনি বললেন, তাহলে এবার সাক্ষী থাক। আর আমিও তোমাদের সাথে সাক্ষী রইলাম।
Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
10 তওরাত নাযিল হওয়ার পূর্বে ইয়াকুব যেগুলো নিজেদের জন্য হারাম করে নিয়েছিলেন, সেগুলো ব্যতীত সমস্ত আহার্য বস্তুই বনী-ইসরায়ীলদের জন্য হালাল ছিল। তুমি বলে দাও, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক। তাহলে তওরাত নিয়ে এসো এবং তা পাঠ কর।
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what Israel Made unlawful for itself, before the Law (of Moses) was revealed. Say: "Bring ye the Law and study it, if ye be men of truth."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
11 হে ঈমানদারগণ! আল্লাহকে যেমন ভয় করা উচিৎ ঠিক তেমনিভাবে ভয় করতে থাক। এবং অবশ্যই মুসলমান না হয়ে মৃত্যুবরণ করো না।
O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
12 দেখ! তোমরাই তাদের ভালবাস, কিন্তু তারা তোমাদের প্রতি মোটেও সদভাব পোষণ করে না। আর তোমরা সমস্ত কিতাবেই বিশ্বাস কর। অথচ তারা যখন তোমাদের সাথে এসে মিশে, বলে, আমরা ঈমান এনেছি। পক্ষান্তরে তারা যখন পৃথক হয়ে যায়, তখন তোমাদের উপর রোষবশতঃ আঙ্গুল কামড়াতে থাকে। বলুন, তোমরা আক্রোশে মরতে থাক। আর আল্লাহ মনের কথা ভালই জানেন।
Ah! ye are those who love them, but they love you not,- though ye believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, "We believe": But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: "Perish in your rage; Allah knoweth well all the secrets of the heart."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৯)
13 ওরা হলো যে সব লোক, যারা বসে থেকে নিজেদের ভাইদের সম্বদ্ধে বলে, যদি তারা আমাদের কথা শুনত, তবে নিহত হত না। তাদেরকে বলে দিন, এবার তোমাদের নিজেদের উপর থেকে মৃত্যুকে সরিয়ে দাও, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক।
(They are) the ones that say, (of their brethren slain), while they themselves sit (at ease): "If only they had listened to us they would not have been slain." Say: "Avert death from your own selves, if ye speak the truth."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৮)
14 সে সমস্ত লোক, যারা বলে যে, আল্লাহ আমাদিগকে এমন কোন রসূলের ওপর বিশ্বাস না করতে বলে রেখেছেন যতক্ষণ না তারা আমাদের নিকট এমন কোরবানী নিয়ে আসবেন যাকে আগুন গ্রাস করে নেবে। তুমি তাদের বলে দাও, তোমাদের মাঝে আমার পূর্বে বহু রসূল নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং তোমরা যা আব্দার করেছ তা নিয়ে এসেছিলেন, তখন তোমরা কেন তাদেরকে হত্যা করলে যদি তোমরা সত্য হয়ে থাক।
They (also) said: "Allah took our promise not to believe in an messenger unless He showed us a sacrifice consumed by Fire (From heaven)." Say: "There came to you messengers before me, with clear Signs and even with what ye ask for: why then did ye slay them, if ye speak the truth?"		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৩)
15 হে ঈমানদারগণ! আল্লাহর নির্দেশ মান্য কর, নির্দেশ মান্য কর রসূলের এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিচারক তাদের। তারপর যদি তোমরা কোন বিষয়ে বিবাদে প্রবৃত্ত হয়ে পড়, তাহলে তা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের প্রতি প্রত্যর্পণ কর-যদি তোমরা আল্লাহ ও কেয়ামত দিবসের উপর বিশ্বাসী হয়ে থাক। আর এটাই কল্যাণকর এবং পরিণতির দিক দিয়ে উত্তম।
O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: That is best, and most suitable for final determination.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
16 তারা আপনার কাছে নারীদের বিবাহের অনুমতি চায়। বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তাদের সম্পর্কে অনুমতি দেন এবং কোরআনে তোমাদেরকে যা যা পাট করে শুনানো হয়, তা ঐ সব পিতৃহীনা-নারীদের বিধান, যাদের কে তোমরা নির্ধারিত অধিকার প্রদান কর না অথচ বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ করার বাসনা রাখ। আর অক্ষম শিশুদের বিধান এই যে, এতীমদের জন্যে ইনসাফের উপর কায়েম থাক। তোমরা যা ভাল কাজ করবে, তা আল্লাহ জানেন।
They ask thy instruction concerning the women say: Allah doth instruct you about them: And (remember) what hath been rehearsed unto you in the Book, concerning the orphans of women to whom ye give not the portions prescribed, and yet whom ye desire to marry, as also concerning the children who are weak and oppressed: that ye stand firm for justice to orphans. There is not a good deed which ye do, but Allah is well-acquainted therewith.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৭)
17 তারা আপনাকে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, কি বস্তু তাদের জন্যে হালাল? বলে দিন, তোমাদের জন্যে পবিত্র বস্তুসমূহ হালাল করা হয়েছে। যেসব শিকারী জন্তুকে তোমরা প্রশিক্ষণ দান কর শিকারের প্রতি প্রেরণের জন্যে এবং ওদেরকে ঐ পদ্ধতিতে প্রশিক্ষণ দাও, যা আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন। এমন শিকারী জন্তু যে শিকারকে তোমাদের জন্যে ধরে রাখে, তা খাও এবং তার উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ কর। আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সত্ত্বর হিসাব গ্রহণকারী।
They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say: lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah: eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah; for Allah is swift in taking account.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
18 আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেন না তোমাদের অনর্থক শপথের জন্যে; কিন্তু পাকড়াও করেন ঐ শপথের জন্যে যা তোমরা মজবুত করে বাধ। অতএব, এর কাফফরা এই যে, দশজন দরিদ্রকে খাদ্য প্রদান করবে; মধ্যম শ্রেনীর খাদ্য যা তোমরা স্বীয় পরিবারকে দিয়ে থাক। অথবা, তাদেরকে বস্তু প্রদান করবে অথবা, একজন ক্রীতদাস কিংবা দাসী মুক্ত করে দিবে। যে ব্যক্তি সামর্থ্য রাখে না, সে তিন দিন রোযা রাখবে। এটা কাফফরা তোমাদের শপথের, যখন শপথ করবে। তোমরা স্বীয় শপথসমূহ রক্ষা কর এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্য স্বীয় নির্দেশ বর্ণনা করেন, যাতে তোমরা কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার কর।
Allah will not call you to account for what is futile in your oaths, but He will call you to account for your deliberate oaths: for expiation, feed ten indigent persons, on a scale of the average for the food of your families; or clothe them; or give a slave his freedom. If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
19 তোমাদের জন্য সমুদ্রের শিকার ও সুমুদ্রের খাদ্য হালাল করা হয়েছে তোমাদের উপকারার্থে এবং তোমাদের এহরামকারীদের জন্যে হারাম করা হয়েছে স্থল শিকার যতক্ষণ এহরাম অবস্থায় থাক। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যার কাছে তোমরা একত্রিত হবে।
Lawful to you is the pursuit of water-game and its use for food,- for the benefit of yourselves and those who travel; but forbidden is the pursuit of land-game;- as long as ye are in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. And fear Allah, to Whom ye shall be gathered back.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৬)
20 যাদেরকে তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করে রেখেছ, তাদেরকে কিরূপে ভয় কর, অথচ তোমরা ভয় কর না যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে এমন বস্তুকে শরীক করছ, যাদের সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি কোন প্রমাণ অবতীর্ণ করেননি। অতএব, উভয় সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে শাস্তি লাভের অধিক যোগ্য কে, যদি তোমরা জ্ঞানী হয়ে থাক।
"How should I fear (the beings) ye associate with Allah, when ye fear not to give partners to Allah without any warrant having been given to you? Which of (us) two parties hath more right to security? (tell me) if ye know.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
21 অতঃপর তারা উষ্ট্রীকে হত্যা করল এবং স্বীয় প্রতিপালকের আদেশ অমান্য করল। তারা বললঃ হে ছালেহ, নিয়ে এস যদ্দ্বারা আমাদেরকে ভয় দেখাতে, যদি তুমি রসূল হয়ে থাক।
Then they ham-strung the she-camel, and insolently defied the order of their Lord, saying: "O Salih! bring about thy threats, if thou art a messenger (of Allah)!"		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
22 সে বলল, যদি তুমি কোন নিদর্শন নিয়ে এসে থাক, তাহলে তা উপস্থিত কর যদি তুমি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক।
(Pharaoh) said: "If indeed thou hast come with a Sign, show it forth,- if thou tellest the truth."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৬)
23 আর আমি মূসাকে প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছি ত্রিশ রাত্রির এবং সেগুলোকে পূর্ন করেছি আরো দশ দ্বারা। বস্তুতঃ এভাবে চল্লিশ রাতের মেয়াদ পূর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। আর মূসা তাঁর ভাই হারুনকে বললেন, আমার সম্প্রদায়ে তুমি আমার প্রতিনিধি হিসাবে থাক। তাদের সংশোধন করতে থাক এবং হাঙ্গামা সৃষ্টিকারীদের পথে চলো না।
We appointed for Moses thirty nights, and completed (the period) with ten (more): thus was completed the term (of communion) with his Lord, forty nights. And Moses had charged his brother Aaron (before he went up): "Act for me amongst my people: Do right, and follow not the way of those who do mischief."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪২)
24 (পরওয়ারদেগার) বললেন, হে মূসা, আমি তোমাকে আমার বার্তা পাঠানোর এবং কথা বলার মাধ্যমে লোকদের উপর বিশিষ্টতা দান করেছি। সুতরাং যা কিছু আমি তোমাকে দান করলাম, গ্রহণ কর এবং কৃতজ্ঞ থাক।
(Allah) said: "O Moses! I have chosen thee above (other) men, by the mission I (have given thee) and the words I (have spoken to thee): take then the (revelation) which I give thee, and be of those who give thanks."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৪)
25 আর ক্ষমা করার অভ্যাস গড়ে তোল, সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দাও এবং মূর্খ জাহেলদের থেকে দূরে সরে থাক।
Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৯)
26 আপনার কাছে জিজ্ঞেস করে, গনীমতের হুকুম। বলে দিন, গণীমতের মাল হল আল্লাহর এবং রসূলের। অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং নিজেদের অবস্থা সংশোধন করে নাও। আর আল্লাহ এবং তাঁর রসূলের হুকুম মান্য কর, যদি ঈমানদার হয়ে থাক।
They ask thee concerning (things taken as) spoils of war. Say: "(such) spoils are at the disposal of Allah and the Messenger: So fear Allah, and keep straight the relations between yourselves: Obey Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe."		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ১)
27 সুতরাং তোমরা খাও গনীমত হিসাবে তোমরা যে পরিচ্ছন্ন ও হালাল বস্তু অর্জন করেছ তা থেকে। আর আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, মেহেরবান।
But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, lawful and good: but fear Allah: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
28 অতঃপর নিষিদ্ধ মাস অতিবাহিত হলে মুশরিকদের হত্যা কর যেখানে তাদের পাও, তাদের বন্দী কর এবং অবরোধ কর। আর প্রত্যেক ঘাঁটিতে তাদের সন্ধানে ওঁৎ পেতে বসে থাক। কিন্তু যদি তারা তওবা করে, নামায কায়েম করে, যাকাত আদায় করে, তবে তাদের পথ ছেড়ে দাও। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ অতি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
29 মুশরিকদের চুক্তি আল্লাহর নিকট ও তাঁর রসূলের নিকট কিরূপে বলবৎ থাকবে। তবে যাদের সাথে তোমরা চুক্তি সম্পাদন করেছ মসজিদুল-হারামের নিকট। অতএব, যে পর্যন্ত তারা তোমাদের জন্যে সরল থাকে, তোমরাও তাদের জন্য সরল থাক। নিঃসন্দেহের আল্লাহ সাবধানীদের পছন্দ করেন।
How can there be a league, before Allah and His Messenger, with the Pagans, except those with whom ye made a treaty near the sacred Mosque? As long as these stand true to you, stand ye true to them: for Allah doth love the righteous.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
30 আর যদি তারা বের হবার সংকল্প নিত, তবে অবশ্যই কিছু সরঞ্জাম প্রস্তুত করতো। কিন্তু তাদের উত্থান আল্লাহর পছন্দ নয়, তাই তাদের নিবৃত রাখলেন এবং আদেশ হল বসা লোকদের সাথে তোমরা বসে থাক।
If they had intended to come out, they would certainly have made some preparation therefor; but Allah was averse to their being sent forth; so He made them lag behind, and they were told, "Sit ye among those who sit (inactive)."		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
31 বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ যদি তোমাকে তাদের মধ্য থেকে কোন শ্রেণীবিশেষের দিকে ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে যান এবং অতঃপর তারা তোমার কাছে অভিযানে বেরোবার অনুমতি কামনা করে, তবে তুমি বলো যে, তোমরা কখনো আমার সাথে বেরোবে না এবং আমার পক্ষ হয়ে কোন শত্রুর সাথে যুদ্ধ করবে না, তোমরা তো প্রথমবারে বসে থাকা পছন্দ করেছ, কাজেই পেছনে পড়ে থাকা লোকদের সাথেই বসে থাক।
If, then, Allah bring thee back to any of them, and they ask thy permission to come out (with thee), say: "Never shall ye come out with me, nor fight an enemy with me: for ye preferred to sit inactive on the first occasion: Then sit ye (now) with those who lag behind."		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
32 হে ঈমানদারগণ, আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং সত্যবাদীদের সাথে থাক।
O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed).		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১৯)
33 মানুষ কি বলে যে, এটি বানিয়ে এনেছ? বলে দাও, তোমরা নিয়ে এসো একটিই সূরা, আর ডেকে নাও, যাদেরকে নিতে সক্ষম হও আল্লাহ ব্যতীত, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক।
Or do they say, "He forged it"? say: "Bring then a Sura like unto it, and call (to your aid) anyone you can besides Allah, if it be ye speak the truth!"		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
34 তারপর যখন যাদুকররা এল, মূসা তাদেরকে বলল, নিক্ষেপ কর, তোমরা যা কিছু নিক্ষেপ করে থাক।
When the sorcerers came, Moses said to them: "Throw ye what ye (wish) to throw!"		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৮০)
35 আর মূসা বলল, হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমরা যদি আল্লাহর উপর ঈমান এনে থাক, তবে তারই উপর ভরসা কর যদি তোমরা ফরমাবরদার হয়ে থাক।
Moses said: "O my people! If ye do (really) believe in Allah, then in Him put your trust if ye submit (your will to His)."		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৪)
36 বাদশাহ বললঃ আমি স্বপ্নে দেখলাম, সাতটি মোটাতাজা গাভী-এদেরকে সাতটি শীর্ণ গাভী খেয়ে যাচ্ছে এবং সাতটি সবুজ শীষ ও অন্যগুলো শুষ্ক। হে পরিষদবর্গ! তোমরা আমাকে আমার স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যা বল, যদি তোমরা স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যায় পারদর্শী হয়ে থাক।
The king (of Egypt) said: "I do see (in a vision) seven fat kine, whom seven lean ones devour, and seven green ears of corn, and seven (others) withered. O ye chiefs! Expound to me my vision if it be that ye can interpret visions."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
37 চতুষ্পদ জন্তুকে তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এতে তোমাদের জন্যে শীত বস্ত্রের উপকরণ আছে। আর অনেক উপকার হয়েছে এবং কিছু সংখ্যককে তোমরা আহার্যে?2474;রিণত করে থাক।
And cattle He has created for you (men): from them ye derive warmth, and numerous benefits, and of their (meat) ye eat.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
38 আমি প্রত্যেক উম্মতের মধ্যেই রাসূল প্রেরণ করেছি এই মর্মে যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর এবং তাগুত থেকে নিরাপদ থাক। অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে কিছু সংখ্যককে আল্লাহ হেদায়েত করেছেন এবং কিছু সংখ্যকের জন্যে বিপথগামিতা অবধারিত হয়ে গেল। সুতরাং তোমরা পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ কর এবং দেখ মিথ্যারোপকারীদের কিরূপ পরিণতি হয়েছে।
For We assuredly sent amongst every People a messenger, (with the Command), "Serve Allah, and eschew Evil": of the People were some whom Allah guided, and some on whom error became inevitably (established). So travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those who denied (the Truth).		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
39 অতএব, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যেসব হালাল ও পবিত্র বস্তু দিয়েছেন, তা তোমরা আহার কর এবং আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহের জন্যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর যদি তোমরা তাঁরই এবাদতকারী হয়ে থাক।
So eat of the sustenance which Allah has provided for you, lawful and good; and be grateful for the favours of Allah, if it is He Whom ye serve.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ১১৪)
40 তোমরা আমাকে লোহার পাত এনে দাও। অবশেষে যখন পাহাড়ের মধ্যবর্তী ফাঁকা স্থান পূর্ণ হয়ে গেল, তখন তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা হাঁপরে দম দিতে থাক। অবশেষে যখন তা আগুনে পরিণত হল, তখন তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা গলিত তামা নিয়ে এস, আমি তা এর উপরে ঢেলে দেই।
"Bring me blocks of iron." At length, when he had filled up the space between the two steep mountain-sides, He said, "Blow (with your bellows)" Then, when he had made it (red) as fire, he said: "Bring me, that I may pour over it, molten lead."		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৬)
41 এবং আমি তোমাকে মনোনীত করেছি, অতএব যা প্রত্যাদেশ করা হচ্ছে, তা শুনতে থাক।
"I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee).		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
42 বলুন, প্রত্যেকেই পথপানে চেয়ে আছে, সুতরাং তোমরাও পথপানে চেয়ে থাক। অদূর ভবিষ্যতে তোমরা জানতে পারবে কে সরল পথের পথিক এবং কে সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে।
Say: "Each one (of us) is waiting: wait ye, therefore, and soon shall ye know who it is that is on the straight and even way, and who it is that has received Guidance."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৫)
43 তোমরা আল্লাহর জন্যে শ্রম স্বীকার কর যেভাবে শ্রম স্বীকার করা উচিত। তিনি তোমাদেরকে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং ধর্মের ব্যাপারে তোমাদের উপর কোন সংকীর্ণতা রাখেননি। তোমরা তোমাদের পিতা ইব্রাহীমের ধর্মে কায়েম থাক। তিনিই তোমাদের নাম মুসলমান রেখেছেন পূর্বেও এবং এই কোরআনেও, যাতে রসূল তোমাদের জন্যে সাক্ষ্যদাতা এবং তোমরা সাক্ষ্যদাতা হও মানবমন্ডলির জন্যে। সুতরাং তোমরা নামায কায়েম কর, যাকাত দাও এবং আল্লাহকে শক্তভাবে ধারণ কর। তিনিই তোমাদের মালিক। অতএব তিনি কত উত্তম মালিক এবং কত উত্তম সাহায্যকারী।
And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help!		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
44 অতঃপর আমি তা দ্বারা তোমাদের জন্যে খেজুর ও আঙ্গুরের বাগান সৃষ্টি করেছি। তোমাদের জন্যে এতে প্রচুর ফল আছে এবং তোমরা তা থেকে আহার করে থাক।
With it We grow for you gardens of date-palms and vines: in them have ye abundant fruits: and of them ye eat (and have enjoyment),-		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
45 তাদের পিঠে ও জলযানে তোমরা আরোহণ করে চলাফেরা করে থাক।
And on them, as well as in ships, ye ride.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
46 তিনি তোমাদের কান, চোখ ও অন্তঃকরণ সৃষ্টি করেছেন; তোমরা খুবই অল্প কৃতজ্ঞতা স্বীকার করে থাক।
It is He Who has created for you (the faculties of) hearing, sight, feeling and understanding: little thanks it is ye give!		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
47 ব্যভিচারিণী নারী ব্যভিচারী পুরুষ; তাদের প্রত্যেককে একশ’ করে বেত্রাঘাত কর। আল্লাহর বিধান কার্যকর কারণে তাদের প্রতি যেন তোমাদের মনে দয়ার উদ্রেক না হয়, যদি তোমরা আল্লাহর প্রতি ও পরকালের প্রতি বিশ্বাসী হয়ে থাক। মুসলমানদের একটি দল যেন তাদের শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করে।
The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ২)
48 অতঃপর যখন দূত সুলায়মানের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন সুলায়মান বললেন, তোমরা কি ধনসম্পদ দ্বারা আমাকে সাহায্য করতে চাও? আল্লাহ আমাকে যা দিয়েছেন, তা তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত বস্তু থেকে উত্তম। বরং তোমরাই তোমাদের উপঢৌকন নিয়ে সুখে থাক।
Now when (the embassy) came to Solomon, he said: "Will ye give me abundance in wealth? But that which Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay it is ye who rejoice in your gift!		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
49 আমি মূসা-জননীকে আদেশ পাঠালাম যে, তাকে স্তন্য দান করতে থাক। অতঃপর যখন তুমি তার সম্পর্কে বিপদের আশংকা কর, তখন তাকে দরিয়ায় নিক্ষেপ কর এবং ভয় করো না, দুঃখও করো না। আমি অবশ্যই তাকে তোমার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দেব এবং তাকে পয়গম্বরগণের একজন করব।
So We sent this inspiration to the mother of Moses: "Suckle (thy child), but when thou hast fears about him, cast him into the river, but fear not nor grieve: for We shall restore him to thee, and We shall make him one of Our messengers."		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
50 তাদের কতিপয় বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তি একথা বলে প্রস্থান করে যে, তোমরা চলে যাও এবং তোমাদের উপাস্যদের পূজায় দৃঢ় থাক। নিশ্চয়ই এ বক্তব্য কোন বিশেষ উদ্দেশ্যে প্রণোদিত।
And the leader among them go away (impatiently), (saying), "Walk ye away, and remain constant to your gods! For this is truly a thing designed (against you)!		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
51 অন্ধ ও চক্ষুষ্মান সমান নয়, আর যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং কুকর্মী। তোমরা অল্পই অনুধাবন করে থাক।
Not equal are the blind and those who (clearly) see: Nor are (equal) those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and those who do evil. Little do ye learn by admonition!		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
52 তোমরা যদি আমার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন না কর, তবে আমার কাছ থেকে দূরে থাক।
"If ye believe me not, at least keep yourselves away from me."		 (আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
53 যখন আমি একদল জিনকে আপনার প্রতি আকৃষ্ট করেছিলাম, তারা কোরআন পাঠ শুনছিল,। তারা যখন কোরআন পাঠের জায়গায় উপস্থিত হল, তখন পরস্পর বলল, চুপ থাক। অতঃপর যখন পাঠ সমাপ্ত হল, তখন তারা তাদের সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে সতর্ককারীরূপে ফিরে গেল।
Behold, We turned towards thee a company of Jinns (quietly) listening to the Qur'an: when they stood in the presence thereof, they said, "Listen in silence!" When the (reading) was finished, they returned to their people, to warn (them of their sins).		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
54 মুমিনগণ, তোমরা অনেক ধারণা থেকে বেঁচে থাক। নিশ্চয় কতক ধারণা গোনাহ। এবং গোপনীয় বিষয় সন্ধান করো না। তোমাদের কেউ যেন কারও পশ্চাতে নিন্দা না করে। তোমাদের কেউ কি তারা মৃত ভ্রাতার মাংস ভক্ষণ করা পছন্দ করবে? বস্তুতঃ তোমরা তো একে ঘৃণাই কর। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তওবা কবুলকারী, পরম দয়ালু।
O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it... But fear Allah: For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.		 (আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
55 তারা মুসলমান হয়ে আপনাকে ধন্য করেছে মনে করে। বলুন, তোমরা মুসলমান হয়ে আমাকে ধন্য করেছ মনে করো না। বরং আল্লাহ ঈমানের পথে পরিচালিত করে তোমাদেরকে ধন্য করেছেন, যদি তোমরা সত্যনিষ্ঠ হয়ে থাক।
They impress on thee as a favour that they have embraced Islam. Say, "Count not your Islam as a favour upon me: Nay, Allah has conferred a favour upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if ye be true and sincere.		 (আল হুজরাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
56 তিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডল সৃষ্টি করেছেন ছয়দিনে, অতঃপর আরশের উপর সমাসীন হয়েছেন। তিনি জানেন যা ভূমিতে প্রবেশ করে ও যা ভূমি থেকে নির্গত হয় এবং যা আকাশ থেকে বর্ষিত হয় ও যা আকাশে উত্থিত হয়। তিনি তোমাদের সাথে আছেন তোমরা যেখানেই থাক। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা দেখেন।
He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and is moreover firmly established on the Throne (of Authority). He knows what enters within the earth and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven and what mounts up to it. And He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah sees well all that ye do.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
57 মুমিনগণ, তোমরা আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে ভয় কর। প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তির উচিত, আগামী কালের জন্যে সে কি প্রেরণ করে, তা চিন্তা করা। আল্লাহ তা’আলাকে ভয় করতে থাক। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ তা’আলা সে সম্পর্কে খবর রাখেন।
O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and let every soul look to what (provision) He has sent forth for the morrow. Yea, fear Allah: for Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do.		 (আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
58 হে মুমিনগণ, তোমাদের কোন কোন স্ত্রী ও সন্তান-সন্ততি তোমাদের দুশমন। অতএব তাদের ব্যাপারে সতর্ক থাক। যদি মার্জনা কর, উপেক্ষা কর, এবং ক্ষমা কর, তবে আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, করুনাময়।
O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আত-তাগাবুন:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
59 অতঃপর আল্লাহর রসূল তাদেরকে বলেছিলেনঃ আল্লাহর উষ্ট্রী ও তাকে পানি পান করানোর ব্যাপারে সতর্ক থাক।
But the Messenger of Allah said to them: "It is a She-camel of Allah! And (bar her not from) having her drink!"		 (আশ-শামস:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
