নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	ইহুদীরা বলে, খ্রীস্টানরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয় এবং খ্রীস্টানরা বলে, ইহুদীরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয়। অথচ ওরা সবাই কিতাব পাঠ করে! এমনিভাবে যারা মূর্খ, তারাও ওদের মতই উক্তি করে। অতএব, আল্লাহ কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছিল। The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (To stand) upon." Yet they (Profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
2	যারা কিছু জানে না, তারা বলে, আল্লাহ আমাদের সঙ্গে কেন কথা বলেন না? অথবা আমাদের কাছে কোন নিদর্শন কেন আসে না? এমনি ভাবে তাদের পূর্বে যারা ছিল তারাও তাদেরই অনুরূপ কথা বলেছে। তাদের অন্তর একই রকম। নিশ্চয় আমি উজ্জ্বল নিদর্শনসমূহ বর্ণনা করেছি তাদের জন্যে যারা প্রত্যয়শীল। Say those without knowledge: "Why speaketh not Allah unto us? or why cometh not unto us a Sign?" So said the people before them words of similar import. Their hearts are alike. We have indeed made clear the Signs unto any people who hold firmly to Faith (in their hearts).	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১১৮)
3	যদি আপনি আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে সমুদয় নিদর্শন উপস্থাপন করেন, তবুও তারা আপনার কেবলা মেনে নেবে না এবং আপনিও তাদের কেবলা মানেন না। তারাও একে অন্যের কেবলা মানে না। যদি আপনি তাদের বাসনার অনুসরণ করেন, সে জ্ঞানলাভের পর, যা আপনার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তবে নিশ্চয় আপনি অবিচারকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন। Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow Thy Qibla; nor art thou going to follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qibla. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee, Wert to follow their (vain) desires,-then wert thou Indeed (clearly) in the wrong.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৪৫)
4	আর যখন তোমরা স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিয়ে দাও এবং তারপর তারাও নির্ধারিত ইদ্দত পূর্ন করতে থাকে, তখন তাদেরকে পূর্ব স্বামীদের সাথে পারস্পরিক সম্মতির ভিত্তিতে নিয়মানুযায়ী বিয়ে করতে বাধাদান করো না। এ উপদেশ তাকেই দেয়া হচ্ছে, যে আল্লাহ ও কেয়ামত দিনের উপর বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে। এর মধ্যে তোমাদের জন্য রয়েছে একান্ত পরিশুদ্ধতা ও অনেক পবিত্রতা। আর আল্লাহ জানেন, তোমরা জান না। When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), do not prevent them from marrying their (former) husbands, if they mutually agree on equitable terms. This instruction is for all amongst you, who believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is (the course Making for) most virtue and purity amongst you and Allah knows, and ye know not.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ২৩২)
5	তোমরা যদি আহত হয়ে থাক, তবে তারাও তো তেমনি আহত হয়েছে। আর এ দিনগুলোকে আমি মানুষের মধ্যে পালাক্রমে আবর্তন ঘটিয়ে থাকি। এভাবে আল্লাহ জানতে চান কারা ঈমানদার আর তিনি তোমাদের কিছু লোককে শহীদ হিসাবে গ্রহণ করতে চান। আর আল্লাহ অত্যাচারীদেরকে ভালবাসেন না। If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৪০)
6	তাদের ভয় করা উচিত, যারা নিজেদের পশ্চাতে দুর্বল অক্ষম সন্তান-সন্ততি ছেড়ে গেলে তাদের জন্যে তারাও আশঙ্কা করে; সুতরাং তারা যেন আল্লাহকে ভয় করে এবং সংগত কথা বলে। Let those (disposing of an estate) have the same fear in their minds as they would have for their own if they had left a helpless family behind: Let them fear Allah, and speak words of appropriate (comfort).	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৯)
7	তাদের পশ্চাদ্ধাবনে শৈথিল্য করো না। যদি তোমরা আঘাত প্রাপ্ত, তবে তারাও তো তোমাদের মতই হয়েছে আঘাতপ্রাপ্ত এবং তোমরা আল্লাহর কাছে আশা কর, যা তারা আশা করে না। আল্লাহ মহাজ্ঞানী, প্রজ্ঞাময়। And slacken not in following up the enemy: If ye are suffering hardships, they are suffering similar hardships; but ye have Hope from Allah, while they have none. And Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ১০৪)
8	যারা বলেঃ আমরা নাছারা, আমি তাদের কাছ থেকেও তাদের অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলাম। অতঃপর তারাও যে উপদেশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল, তা থেকে উপকার লাভ করা ভুলে গেল। অতঃপর আমি কেয়ামত পর্যন্ত তাদের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক শত্রুতা ও বিদ্বেষ সঞ্চারিত করে দিয়েছি। অবশেষে আল্লাহ তাদেরকে তাদের কৃতকর্ম সম্পর্কে অবহিত করবেন। From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ১৪)
9	আর যারা ঈমান এনেছে পরবর্তী পর্যায়ে এবং ঘর-বাড়ী ছেড়েছে এবং তোমাদের সাথে সম্মিলিত হয়ে জেহাদ করেছে, তারাও তোমাদেরই অন্তর্ভুক্ত। বস্তুতঃ যারা আত্নীয়, আল্লাহর বিধান মতে তারা পরস্পর বেশী হকদার। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ যাবতীয় বিষয়ে সক্ষম ও অবগত। And those who accept Faith subsequently, and adopt exile, and fight for the Faith in your company,- they are of you. But kindred by blood have prior rights against each other in the Book of Allah. Verily Allah is well-acquainted with all things.	(আল-আনফাল: আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
10	নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর বিধান ও গননায় মাস বারটি, আসমানসমূহ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টির দিন থেকে। তন্মধ্যে চারটি সম্মানিত। এটিই সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত বিধান; সুতরাং এর মধ্যে তোমরা নিজেদের প্রতি অত্যাচার করো না। আর মুশরিকদের সাথে তোমরা যুদ্ধ কর সমবেতভাবে, যেমন তারাও তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করে যাচ্ছে সমবেতভাবে। আর মনে রেখো, আল্লাহ মুত্তাকীনদের সাথে রয়েছেন। The number of months in the sight of Allah is twelve (in a year)- so ordained by Him the day He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are sacred: that is the straight usage. So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
11	আর যারা সর্বপ্রথম হিজরতকারী ও আনছারদের মাঝে পুরাতন, এবং যারা তাদের অনুসরণ করেছে, আল্লাহ সে সমস্ত লোকদের প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছেন এবং তারাও তাঁর প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট হয়েছে। আর তাদের জন্য প্রস্তুত রেখেছেন কানন-কুঞ্জ, যার তলদেশ দিয়ে প্রবাহিত প্রস্রবণসমূহ। সেখানে তারা থাকবে চিরকাল। এটাই হল মহান কৃতকার্যতা। The vanguard (of Islam)- the first of those who forsook (their homes) and of those who gave them aid, and (also) those who follow them in (all) good deeds,- well-pleased is Allah with them, as are they with Him: for them hath He prepared gardens under which rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that is the supreme felicity.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ১০০)
12	তারা তো আপনাকে এ ভুখন্ড থেকে উৎখাত করে দিতে চুড়ান্ত চেষ্টা করেছিল যাতে আপনাকে এখান থেকে বহিস্কার করে দেয়া যায়। তখন তারাও আপনার পর সেখানে অল্প কালই মাত্র টিকে থাকত। Their purpose was to scare thee off the land, in order to expel thee; but in that case they would not have stayed (therein) after thee, except for a little while.	(বনী ইসরাঈল: আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
13	তোমাদের সন্তান-সন্ততিরা যখন বায়োপ্রাপ্ত হয়, তারাও যেন তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের ন্যায় অনুমতি চায়। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ তাঁর আয়াতসমূহ তোমাদের কাছে বর্ণনা করেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ, প্রজ্ঞাময়। But when the children among you come of age, let them (also) ask for permission, as do those senior to them (in age): Thus does Allah make clear His Signs to you: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.	(আন-নূর: আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
14	সে বলল, রাজা বাদশারা যখন কোন জনপদে প্রবেশ করে, তখন তাকে বিপর্যস্ত করে দেয় এবং সেখানকার সম্ভ্রান্ত ব্যক্তিবর্গকে অপদস্থ করে। তারাও এরূপই করবে। She said: "Kings, when they enter a country, despoil it, and make the noblest of its people its meanest thus do they behave.	(নমল: আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
15	অতএব আপনি তাদের থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিন এবং অপেক্ষা করুন, তারাও অপেক্ষা করছে। So turn away from them, and wait: they too are waiting.	(সেজদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৩০)
16	এবং তাদেরকে দেখতে থাকুন। শীঘ্রই তারাও এর পরিণাম দেখে নেবে। And watch them (how they fare), and they soon shall see (how thou farest)!	(আস-সাফফাত: আয়াতঃ ১৭৫)
17	এবং দেখতে থাকুন, শীঘ্রই তারাও এর পরিণাম দেখে নেবে। And watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)!	(আস-সাফফাত: আয়াতঃ ১৭৯)
18	অতএব, আপনি অপেক্ষা করুন, তারাও অপেক্ষা করছে। So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting.	(আদ দোখান: আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
19	তাদের সামনে রয়েছে জাহান্নাম। তারা যা উপার্জন করেছে, তা তাদের কোন কাজে আসবে না, তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যাদেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করেছে তারাও নয়। তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে মহাশাস্তি। In front of them is Hell: and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides Allah: for them is a tremendous Penalty.	(আল জাসিয়া: আয়াতঃ ১০)
20	মুমিনগণ, যখন তোমাদের কাছে ঈমানদার নারীরা হিজরত করে আগমন করে, তখন তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা কর। আল্লাহ তাদের ঈমান সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত আছেন। যদি তোমরা জান যে, তারা ঈমানদার, তবে আর তাদেরকে কাফেরদের কাছে ফেরত পাঠিও না। এরা কাফেরদের জন্যে হালাল নয় এবং কাফেররা এদের জন্যে হালাল নয়। কাফেররা যা ব্যয় করেছে, তা তাদের দিয়ে দাও। তোমরা, এই নারীদেরকে প্রাপ্য মোহরানা দিয়ে বিবাহ করলে তোমাদের অপরাধ হবে না। তোমরা কাফের নারীদের সাথে দাম্পত্য সম্পর্ক বজায় রেখো না। তোমরা যা ব্যয় করেছ, তা চেয়ে নাও এবং তারাও চেয়ে নিবে যা তারা ব্যয় করেছে। এটা আল্লাহর বিধান; তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ প্রজ্ঞাময়। O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.	(আল মুমতাহিনা: আয়াতঃ ১০)
21	হে নবী, তোমরা যখন স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিতে চাও, তখন তাদেরকে তালাক দিয়ো ইদ্দতের প্রতি লক্ষ্য রেখে এবং ইদ্দত গণনা করো। তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় করো। তাদেরকে তাদের গৃহ থেকে বহিস্কার করো না এবং তারাও যেন বের না হয় যদি না তারা কোন সুস্পষ্ট নির্লজ্জ কাজে লিপ্ত হয়। এগুলো আল্লাহর নির্ধারিত সীমা। যে ব্যক্তি আল্লাহর সীমালংঘন করে, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্ট করে। সে জানে না, হয়তো আল্লাহ এই তালাকের পর কোন নতুন উপায় করে দেবেন। O Prophet! When ye do divorce women, divorce them at their prescribed periods, and count (accurately), their prescribed periods: And fear Allah your Lord: and turn them not out of their houses, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open lewdness, those are limits set by Allah: and any who transgresses the limits of Allah, does verily wrong his (own) soul: thou knowest not if perchance Allah will bring about thereafter some new situation.	(আত্ব-ত্বালাক্ব: আয়াতঃ ১)
22	সত্ত্বরই আপনি দেখে নিবেন এবং তারাও দেখে নিবে। Soon wilt thou see, and they will see,	(আল কলম: আয়াতঃ ৫)
23	তারা চায় যদি আপনি নমনীয় হন, তবে তারাও নমনীয় হবে। Their desire is that thou shouldst be pliant: so would they be pliant.	(আল কলম: আয়াতঃ ৯)
