| 1 | হে জ্বিন ও মানব সম্প্রদায়, তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে পয়গম্বরগণ আগমন করেনি? যাঁরা তোমাদেরকে আমার বিধানাবলী বর্ণনা করতেন এবং তোমাদেরকে আজকের এ দিনের সাক্ষাতের ভীতি প্রদর্শন করতেন? তারা বলবেঃ আমরা স্বীয় গোনাহ স্বীকার করে নিলাম। পার্থিব জীবন তাদেরকে প্রতারিত করেছে। তারা নিজেদের বিরুদ্ধে স্বীকার করে নিয়েছে যে, তারা কাফের ছিল। "O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith. |

| 2 | আর আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি দোযখের জন্য বহু জ্বিন ও মানুষ। তাদের অন্তর রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা বিবেচনা করে না, তাদের চোখ রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা দেখে না, আর তাদের কান রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা শোনে না। তারা চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং তাদের চেয়েও নিকৃষ্টতর। তারাই হল গাফেল, শৈথিল্যপরায়ণ। Many are the Jinns and men we have made for Hell: They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not. They are like cattle,- nay more misguided: for they are heedless (of warning). |

| 3 | তোমার পালনকর্তা যাদের উপর রহমত করেছেন, তারা ব্যতীত সবাই চিরদিন মতভেদ করতেই থাকবে এবং এজন্যই তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন। আর তোমার আল্লাহর কথাই পূর্ণ হল যে, অবশ্যই আমি জাহান্নামকে জ্বিন ও মানুষ দ্বারা একযোগে ভর্তি করব। Except those on whom thy Lord hath bestowed His Mercy: and for this did He create them: and the Word of thy Lord shall be fulfilled: "I will fill Hell with jinns and men all together." |

| 4 | বলুনঃ যদি মানব ও জ্বিন এই কোরআনের অনুরূপ রচনা করে আনয়নের জন্যে জড়ো হয়, এবং তারা পরস্পরের সাহায্যকারী হয়; তবুও তারা কখনও এর অনুরূপ রচনা করে আনতে পারবে না। Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support. |

| 5 | সুলায়মানের সামনে তার সেনাবাহিনীকে সমবেত করা হল। জ্বিন-মানুষ ও পক্ষীকুলকে, অতঃপর তাদেরকে বিভিন্ন ব্যূহে বিভক্ত করা হল। And before Solomon were marshalled his hosts,- of Jinns and men and birds, and they were all kept in order and ranks. |

| 6 | তারা আল্লাহ ও জ্বিনদের মধ্যে সম্পর্ক সাব্যস্ত করেছে, অথচ জ্বিনেরা জানে যে, তারা গ্রেফতার হয়ে আসবে। And they have invented a blood-relationship between Him and the Jinns: but the Jinns know (quite well) that they have indeed to appear (before his Judgment-Seat)! |

| 7 | তাদের পূর্বে যে সব জ্বিন ও মানুষ গত হয়েছে, তাদের মধ্যে এ ধরনের লোকদের প্রতিও শাস্তিবানী অবধারিত হয়ে গেছে। নিশ্চয় তারা ছিল ক্ষতিগ্রস্থ। Such are they against whom is proved the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, that have passed away; for they will be (utterly) lost. |
