নং আয়াত সূরা
1 নিশ্চয়ই আসমান ও যমীনের সৃষ্টিতে, রাত ও দিনের বিবর্তনে এবং নদীতে নৌকাসমূহের চলাচলে মানুষের জন্য কল্যাণ রয়েছে। আর আল্লাহ তা’ আলা আকাশ থেকে যে পানি নাযিল করেছেন, তদ্দ্বারা মৃত যমীনকে সজীব করে তুলেছেন এবং তাতে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন সবরকম জীব-জন্তু। আর আবহাওয়া পরিবর্তনে এবং মেঘমালার যা তাঁরই হুকুমের অধীনে আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝে বিচরণ করে, নিশ্চয়ই সে সমস্ত বিষয়ের মাঝে নিদর্শন রয়েছে বুদ্ধিমান সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে।
Behold! in the creation of the heavens and the earth; in the alternation of the night and the day; in the sailing of the ships through the ocean for the profit of mankind; in the rain which Allah Sends down from the skies, and the life which He gives therewith to an earth that is dead; in the beasts of all kinds that He scatters through the earth; in the change of the winds, and the clouds which they Trail like their slaves between the sky and the earth;- (Here) indeed are Signs for a people that are wise.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৪)
2 তিনি তোমাদের উপর হারাম করেছেন, মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকর মাংস এবং সেসব জীব-জন্তু যা আল্লাহ ব্যাতীত অপর কারো নামে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। অবশ্য যে লোক অনন্যোপায় হয়ে পড়ে এবং নাফরমানী ও সীমালঙ্ঘনকারী না হয়, তার জন্য কোন পাপ নেই। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ মহান ক্ষমাশীল, অত্যন্ত দয়ালু।
He hath only forbidden you dead meat, and blood, and the flesh of swine, and that on which any other name hath been invoked besides that of Allah. But if one is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- then is he guiltless. For Allah is Oft-forgiving Most Merciful.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৩)
3 মুমিনগণ, তোমরা অঙ্গীকারসমূহ পূর্ন কর। তোমাদের জন্য চতুষ্পদ জন্তু হালাল করা হয়েছে, যা তোমাদের কাছে বিবৃত হবে তা ব্যতীত। কিন্তু এহরাম বাধাঁ অবস্থায় শিকারকে হালাল মনে করো না! নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা যা ইচ্ছা করেন, নির্দেশ দেন।
O ye who believe! fulfil (all) obligations. Lawful unto you (for food) are all four-footed animals, with the exceptions named: But animals of the chase are forbidden while ye are in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb: for Allah doth command according to His will and plan.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১)
4 হে মুমিনগণ! হালাল মনে করো না আল্লাহর নিদর্শনসমূহ এবং সম্মানিত মাসসমূহকে এবং হরমে কুরবানীর জন্যে নির্দিষ্ট জন্তুকে এবং ঐসব জন্তুকে, যাদের গলায় কন্ঠাভরণ রয়েছে এবং ঐসব লোককে যারা সম্মানিত গৃহ অভিমুখে যাচ্ছে, যারা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনা করে। যখন তোমরা এহরাম থেকে বের হয়ে আস, তখন শিকার কর। যারা পবিত্র মসজিদ থেকে তোমাদেরকে বাধা প্রদান করেছিল, সেই সম্প্রদায়ের শুত্রুতা যেন তোমাদেরকে সীমালঙ্ঘনে প্ররোচিত না করে। সৎকর্ম ও খোদাভীতিতে একে অন্যের সাহায্য কর। পাপ ও সীমালঙ্ঘনের ব্যাপারে একে অন্যের সহায়তা করো না। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তা’আলা কঠোর শাস্তিদাতা।
O ye who believe! Violate not the sanctity of the symbols of Allah, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the garlands that mark out such animals, nor the people resorting to the sacred house, seeking of the bounty and good pleasure of their Lord. But when ye are clear of the sacred precincts and of pilgrim garb, ye may hunt and let not the hatred of some people in (once) shutting you out of the Sacred Mosque lead you to transgression (and hostility on your part). Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancour: fear Allah: for Allah is strict in punishment.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:

5 তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করা হয়েছে মৃত জীব, রক্ত, শুকরের মাংস, যেসব জন্তু আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গকৃত হয়, যা কন্ঠরোধে মারা যায়, যা আঘাত লেগে মারা যায়, যা উচ্চ স্থান থেকে পতনের ফলে মারা যা, যা শিং এর আঘাতে মারা যায় এবং যাকে হিংস্র জন্তু ভক্ষণ করেছে, কিন্তু যাকে তোমরা যবেহ করেছ। যে জন্তু যজ্ঞবেদীতে যবেহ করা হয় এবং যা ভাগ্য নির্ধারক শর দ্বারা বন্টন করা হয়। এসব গোনাহর কাজ। আজ কাফেররা তোমাদের দ্বীন থেকে নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে। অতএব তাদেরকে ভয় করো না বরং আমাকে ভয় কর। আজ আমি তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের দ্বীনকে পূর্নাঙ্গ করে দিলাম, তোমাদের প্রতি আমার অবদান সম্পূর্ণ করে দিলাম এবং ইসলামকে তোমাদের জন্যে দ্বীন হিসেবে পছন্দ করলাম। অতএব যে ব্যাক্তি তীব্র ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে; কিন্তু কোন গোনাহর প্রতি প্রবণতা না থাকে, তবে নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ তা’আলা ক্ষমাশীল।
Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah; that which hath been killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored to death; that which hath been (partly) eaten by a wild animal; unless ye are able to slaughter it (in due form); that which is sacrificed on stone (altars); (forbidden) also is the division (of meat) by raffling with arrows: that is impiety. This day have those who reject faith given up all hope of your religion: yet fear them not but fear Me. This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion. But if any is forced by hunger, with no inclination to transgression, Allah is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
6 তারা আপনাকে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, কি বস্তু তাদের জন্যে হালাল? বলে দিন, তোমাদের জন্যে পবিত্র বস্তুসমূহ হালাল করা হয়েছে। যেসব শিকারী জন্তুকে তোমরা প্রশিক্ষণ দান কর শিকারের প্রতি প্রেরণের জন্যে এবং ওদেরকে ঐ পদ্ধতিতে প্রশিক্ষণ দাও, যা আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন। এমন শিকারী জন্তু যে শিকারকে তোমাদের জন্যে ধরে রাখে, তা খাও এবং তার উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ কর। আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সত্ত্বর হিসাব গ্রহণকারী।
They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say: lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah: eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah; for Allah is swift in taking account.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
7 মুমিনগণ, তোমরা এহরাম অবস্থায় শিকার বধ করো না। তোমাদের মধ্যে যে জেনেশুনে শিকার বধ করবে, তার উপর বিনিময় ওয়াজেব হবে, যা সমান হবে ঐ জন্তুর, যাকে সে বধ করেছে। দু’জন নির্ভরযোগ্য ব্যক্তি এর ফয়সালা করবে-বিনিময়ের জন্তুটি উৎসর্গ হিসেবে কাবায় পৌছাতে হবে। অথবা তার উপর কাফফারা ওয়াজেব-কয়েকজন দরিদ্রকে খাওয়ানো অথবা তার সমপরিমাণ রোযা রাখতে যাতে সে স্বীয় কৃতকর্মের প্রতিফল আস্বাদন করে। যা হয়ে গেছে, তা আল্লাহ মাফ করেছেন। যে পুনরায় এ কান্ড করবে, আল্লাহ তার কাছ থেকে প্রতিশোধ নিবেন। আল্লাহ পরাক্রান্ত, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণে সক্ষম।
O ye who believe! Kill not game while in the sacred precincts or in pilgrim garb. If any of you doth so intentionally, the compensation is an offering, brought to the Ka'ba, of a domestic animal equivalent to the one he killed, as adjudged by two just men among you; or by way of atonement, the feeding of the indigent; or its equivalent in fasts: that he may taste of the penalty of his deed. Allah forgives what is past: for repetition Allah will exact from him the penalty. For Allah is Exalted, and Lord of Retribution.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
8 আল্লাহ সম্মানিত গৃহ কাবাকে মানুষের স্থীতিশীলতার কারণ করেছেন এবং সম্মানিত মাসসমূকে, হারাম কোরবানীর জন্তুকে ও যাদের গলায় আবরণ রয়েছে। এর কারণ এই যে, যাতে তোমরা জেনে নাও যে, আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের সব কিছু জানেন এবং আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ে মহাজ্ঞানী।
Allah made the Ka'ba, the Sacred House, an asylum of security for men, as also the Sacred Months, the animals for offerings, and the garlands that mark them: That ye may know that Allah hath knowledge of what is in the heavens and on earth and that Allah is well acquainted with all things.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
9 অতঃপর যে জন্তুর উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারিত হয়, তা থেকে ভক্ষণ কর যদি তোমরা তাঁর বিধানসমূহে বিশ্বাসী হও।
So eat of (meats) on which Allah's name hath been pronounced, if ye have faith in His signs.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১১৮)
10 কোন কারণে তোমরা এমন জন্তু থেকে ভক্ষণ করবে না, যার উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারিত হয়, অথচ আল্লাহ ঐ সব জন্তুর বিশদ বিবরণ দিয়েছেন, যেগুলোকে তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন; কিন্তু সেগুলোও তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল, যখন তোমরা নিরুপায় হয়ে যাও। অনেক লোক স্বীয় ভ্রান্ত প্রবৃত্তি দ্বারা না জেনে বিপথগামী করতে থাকে। আপনার প্রতিপালক সীমাতিক্রম কারীদেরকে যথার্থই জানেন।
Why should ye not eat of (meats) on which Allah's name hath been pronounced, when He hath explained to you in detail what is forbidden to you - except under compulsion of necessity? But many do mislead (men) by their appetites unchecked by knowledge. Thy Lord knoweth best those who transgress.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১১৯)
11 যেসব জন্তুর উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারিত হয় না, সেগুলো থেকে ভক্ষণ করো না; এ ভক্ষণ করা গোনাহ। নিশ্চয় শয়তানরা তাদের বন্ধুদেরকে প্রত্যাদেশ করে-যেন তারা তোমাদের সাথে তর্ক করে। যদি তোমরা তাদের আনুগত্য কর, তোমরাও মুশরেক হয়ে যাবে।
Eat not of (meats) on which Allah's name hath not been pronounced: That would be impiety. But the evil ones ever inspire their friends to contend with you if ye were to obey them, ye would indeed be Pagans.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১২১)
12 আল্লাহ যেসব শস্যক্ষেত্র ও জীবজন্তু সৃষ্টি করেছেন, সেগুলো থেকে তারা এক অংশ আল্লাহর জন্য নির্ধারণ করে অতঃপর নিজ ধারণা অনুসারে বলে এটা আল্লাহর এবং এটা আমাদের অংশীদারদের। অতঃপর যে অংশ তাদের অংশীদারদের, তা তো আল্লাহর দিকে পৌঁছে না এবং যা আল্লাহর তা তাদের উপাস্যদের দিকে পৌছে যায়। তাদের বিচার কতই না মন্দ।
Out of what Allah hath produced in abundance in tilth and in cattle, they assigned Him a share: they say, according to their fancies: "This is for Allah, and this" - for our "partners"! but the share of their" partners "reacheth not Allah, whilst the share of Allah reacheth their "partners"! evil (and unjust) is their assignment!		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৬)
13 তারা বলেঃ এসব চতুষ্পদ জন্তু ও শস্যক্ষেত্র নিষিদ্ধ। আমরা যাকে ইচছা করি, সে ছাড়া এগুলো কেউ খেতে পারবে না, তাদের ধারণা অনুসারে। আর কিছুসংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর পিঠে আরোহন হারাম করা হয়েছে এবং কিছু সংখ্যক চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর উপর তারা ভ্রান্ত ধারনা বশতঃ আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করে না, তাদের মনগড়া বুলির কারণে, অচিরেই তিনি তাদের কে শাস্তি দিবেন।
And they say that such and such cattle and crops are taboo, and none should eat of them except those whom - so they say - We wish; further, there are cattle forbidden to yoke or burden, and cattle on which, (at slaughter), the name of Allah is not pronounced; - inventions against Allah's name: soon will He requite them for their inventions.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৮)
14 তারা বলেঃ এসব চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর পেটে যা আছে, তা বিশেষ ভাবে আমাদের পুরুষদের জন্যে এবং আমাদের মহিলাদের জন্যে তা হারাম। যদি তা মৃত হয়, তবে তার প্রাপক হিসাবে সবাই সমান। অচিরেই তিনি তাদেরকে তাদের বর্ণনার শাস্তি দিবেন। তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, মহাজ্ঞানী।
They say: "What is in the wombs of such and such cattle is specially reserved (for food) for our men, and forbidden to our women; but if it is still-born, then all have share therein. For their (false) attribution (of superstitions to Allah), He will soon punish them: for He is full of wisdom and knowledge.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৯)
15 তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মধ্যে বোঝা বহনকারীকে এবং খর্বাকৃতিকে। আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে যা কিছু দিয়েছেন, তা থেকে খাও এবং শয়তানের পদাঙ্ক অনুসরণ করো না। সে তোমাদের প্রকাশ্য শত্রু।
Of the cattle are some for burden and some for meat: eat what Allah hath provided for you, and follow not the footsteps of Satan: for he is to you and avowed enemy.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪২)
16 আপনি বলে দিনঃ যা কিছু বিধান ওহীর মাধ্যমে আমার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তন্মধ্যে আমি কোন হারাম খাদ্য পাই না কোন ভক্ষণকারীর জন্যে, যা সে ভক্ষণ করে; কিন্তু মৃত অথবা প্রবাহিত রক্ত অথবা শুকরের মাংস এটা অপবিত্র অথবা অবৈধ; যবেহ করা জন্তু যা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্যের নামে উৎসর্গ করা হয়। অতপর যে ক্ষুধায় কাতর হয়ে পড়ে এমতাবস্থায় যে অবাধ্যতা করে না এবং সীমালঙ্গন করে না, নিশ্চয় আপনার পালনকর্তা ক্ষমাশীল দয়ালু।
Say: "I find not in the message received by me by inspiration any (meat) forbidden to be eaten by one who wishes to eat it, unless it be dead meat, or blood poured forth, or the flesh of swine,- for it is an abomination - or, what is impious, (meat) on which a name has been invoked, other than Allah's". But (even so), if a person is forced by necessity, without wilful disobedience, nor transgressing due limits,- thy Lord is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৫)
17 ইহুদীদের জন্যে আমি প্রত্যেক নখবিশিষ্ট জন্তু হারাম করেছিলাম এবং ছাগল ও গরু থেকে এতদুভয়ের চর্বি আমি তাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছিলাম, কিন্তু ঐ চর্বি, যা পৃষ্টে কিংবা অন্ত্রে সংযুক্ত থাকে অথবা অস্থির সাথে মিলিত থাকে। তাদের অবাধ্যতার কারণে আমি তাদেরকে এ শাস্তি দিয়েছিলাম। আর আমি অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।
For those who followed the Jewish Law, We forbade every (animal) with undivided hoof, and We forbade them that fat of the ox and the sheep, except what adheres to their backs or their entrails, or is mixed up with a bone: this in recompense for their wilful disobedience: for We are true (in Our ordinances).		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৬)
18 আর আমি সৃষ্টি করেছি দোযখের জন্য বহু জ্বিন ও মানুষ। তাদের অন্তর রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা বিবেচনা করে না, তাদের চোখ রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা দেখে না, আর তাদের কান রয়েছে, তার দ্বারা শোনে না। তারা চতুষ্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং তাদের চেয়েও নিকৃষ্টতর। তারাই হল গাফেল, শৈথিল্যপরায়ণ।
Many are the Jinns and men we have made for Hell: They have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not. They are like cattle,- nay more misguided: for they are heedless (of warning).		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৯)
19 পার্থিব জীবনের উদাহরণ তেমনি, যেমনি আমি আসমান থেকে পানি বর্ষন করলাম, পরে তা মিলিত সংমিশ্রিত হয়ে তা থেকে যমীনের শ্যামল উদ্ভিদ বেরিয়ে এল যা মানুষ ও জীব-জন্তুরা খেয়ে থাকে। এমনকি যমীন যখন সৌন্দর্য সুষমায় ভরে উঠলো আর যমীনের অধিকর্তারা ভাবতে লাগল, এগুলো আমাদের হাতে আসবে, হঠাৎ করে তার উপর আমার নির্দেশ এল রাত্রে কিংবা দিনে, তখন সেগুলোকে কেটে স্তুপাকার করে দিল যেন কাল ও এখানে কোন আবাদ ছিল না। এমনিভাবে আমি খোলাখুলি বর্ণনা করে থাকি নিদর্শণসমূহ সে সমস্ত লোকদের জন্য যারা লক্ষ্য করে।
The likeness of the life of the present is as the rain which We send down from the skies: by its mingling arises the produce of the earth- which provides food for men and animals: (It grows) till the earth is clad with its golden ornaments and is decked out (in beauty): the people to whom it belongs think they have all powers of disposal over it: There reaches it Our command by night or by day, and We make it like a harvest clean-mown, as if it had not flourished only the day before! thus do We explain the Signs in detail for those who reflect.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
20 চতুষ্পদ জন্তুকে তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এতে তোমাদের জন্যে শীত বস্ত্রের উপকরণ আছে। আর অনেক উপকার হয়েছে এবং কিছু সংখ্যককে তোমরা আহার্যে?2474;রিণত করে থাক।
And cattle He has created for you (men): from them ye derive warmth, and numerous benefits, and of their (meat) ye eat.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
21 তোমাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তুদের মধ্যে চিন্তা করার অবকাশ রয়েছে। আমি তোমাদেরকে পান করাই তাদের উদরস্থিত বস্তুসমুহের মধ্যে থেকে গোবর ও রক্ত নিঃসৃত দুগ্ধ যা পানকারীদের জন্যে উপাদেয়।
And verily in cattle (too) will ye find an instructive sign. From what is within their bodies between excretions and blood, We produce, for your drink, milk, pure and agreeable to those who drink it.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
22 আল্লাহ করে দিয়েছেন তোমাদের গৃহকে অবস্থানের জায়গা এবং চতুস্পদ জন্তুর চামড়া দ্বারা করেছেন তোমার জন্যে তাঁবুর ব্যবস্থা। তোমরা এগুলোকে সফরকালে ও অবস্থান কালে পাও। ভেড়ার পশম, উটের বাবরি চুল ও ছাগলের লোম দ্বারা কত আসবাবপত্র ও ব্যবহারের সামগ্রী তৈরী করেছেন এক নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত।
It is Allah Who made your habitations homes of rest and quiet for you; and made for you, out of the skins of animals, (tents for) dwellings, which ye find so light (and handy) when ye travel and when ye stop (in your travels); and out of their wool, and their soft fibres (between wool and hair), and their hair, rich stuff and articles of convenience (to serve you) for a time.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৮০)
23 তোমরা আহার কর এবং তোমাদের চতুস্পদ জন্তু চরাও। নিশ্চয় এতে বিবেক বানদের জন্যে নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
24 তুমি কি দেখনি যে, আল্লাহকে সেজদা করে যা কিছু আছে নভোমন্ডলে, যা কিছু আছে ভুমন্ডলে, সূর্য, চন্দ্র, তারকারাজি পর্বতরাজি বৃক্ষলতা, জীবজন্তু এবং অনেক মানুষ। আবার অনেকের উপর অবধারিত হয়েছে শাস্তি। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা লাঞ্ছিত করেন, তাকে কেউ সম্মান দিতে পারে না। আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা তাই করেন
Seest thou not that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth,- the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a great number among mankind? But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such as Allah shall disgrace,- None can raise to honour: for Allah carries out all that He wills.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
25 যাতে তারা তাদের কল্যাণের স্থান পর্যন্ত পৌছে এবং নির্দিষ্ট দিনগুলোতে আল্লাহর নাম স্মরণ করে তাঁর দেয়া চতুস্পদ জন্তু যবেহ করার সময়। অতঃপর তোমরা তা থেকে আহার কর এবং দুঃস্থ-অভাবগ্রস্থকে আহার করাও।
"That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them, and celebrate the name of Allah, through the Days appointed, over the cattle which He has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat ye thereof and feed the distressed ones in want.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:

26 এটা শ্রবণযোগ্য। আর কেউ আল্লাহর সম্মানযোগ্য বিধানাবলীর প্রতি সম্মান প্রদর্শন করলে পালনকর্তার নিকট তা তার জন্যে উত্তম। উল্লেখিত ব্যতিক্রমগুলো ছাড়া তোমাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তু হালাল করা হয়েছে। সুতরাং তোমরা মূর্তিদের অপবিত্রতা থেকে বেঁচে থাক এবং মিথ্যা কথন থেকে দূরে সরে থাক;
Such (is the Pilgrimage): whoever honours the sacred rites of Allah, for him it is good in the Sight of his Lord. Lawful to you (for food in Pilgrimage) are cattle, except those mentioned to you (as exception): but shun the abomination of idols, and shun the word that is false,-		 (হাজ্জ্ব:

27 চতুস্পদ জন্তুসমূহের মধ্যে তোমাদের জন্যে নির্দিষ্টকাল পর্যন্ত উপকার রয়েছে। অতঃপর এগুলোকে পৌছাতে হবে মুক্ত গৃহ পর্যন্ত।
In them ye have benefits for a term appointed: in the end their place of sacrifice is near the Ancient House.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
28 আমি প্রত্যেক উম্মতের জন্যে কোরবানী নির্ধারণ করেছি, যাতে তারা আল্লাহর দেয়া চতুস্পদ জন্তু যবেহ কারার সময় আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ করে। অতএব তোমাদের আল্লাহ তো একমাত্র আল্লাহ সুতরাং তাঁরই আজ্ঞাধীন থাক এবং বিনয়ীগণকে সুসংবাদ দাও;
To every people did We appoint rites (of sacrifice), that they might celebrate the name of Allah over the sustenance He gave them from animals (fit for food). But your god is One God: submit then your wills to Him (in Islam): and give thou the good news to those who humble themselves,-		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
29 এবং তোমাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তু সমূহের মধ্যে চিন্তা করার বিষয় রয়েছে। আমি তোমাদেরকে তাদের উদরস্থিত বস্তু থেকে পান করাই এবং তোমাদের জন্যে তাদের মধ্যে প্রচুর উপকারিতা আছে। তোমরা তাদের কতককে ভক্ষণ কর।
And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat;		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
30 আপনি কি মনে করেন যে, তাদের অধিকাংশ শোনে অথবা বোঝে ? তারা তো চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মত; বরং আরও পথভ্রান্ত
Or thinkest thou that most of them listen or understand? They are only like cattle;- nay, they are worse astray in Path.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
31 তদ্দ্বারা মৃত ভূভাগকে সঞ্জীবিত করার জন্যে এবং আমার সৃষ্ট জীবজন্তু ও অনেক মানুষের তৃষ্ণা নিবারণের জন্যে।
That with it We may give life to a dead land, and slake the thirst of things We have created,- cattle and men in great numbers.		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
32 তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছেন চতুষ্পদ জন্তু ও পুত্র-সন্তান,
"Freely has He bestowed on you cattle and sons,-		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৩)
33 যখন তিনি মাদইয়ানের কূপের ধারে পৌছলেন, তখন কূপের কাছে একদল লোককে পেলেন তারা জন্তুদেরকে পানি পান করানোর কাজে রত। এবং তাদের পশ্চাতে দূ’জন স্ত্রীলোককে দেখলেন তারা তাদের জন্তুদেরকে আগলিয়ে রাখছে। তিনি বললেন, তোমাদের কি ব্যাপার? তারা বলল, আমরা আমাদের জন্তুদেরকে পানি পান করাতে পারি না, যে পর্যন্ত রাখালরা তাদের জন্তুদেরকে নিয়ে সরে না যায়। আমাদের পিতা খুবই বৃদ্ধ।
And when he arrived at the watering (place) in Madyan, he found there a group of men watering (their flocks), and besides them he found two women who were keeping back (their flocks). He said: "What is the matter with you?" They said: "We cannot water (our flocks) until the shepherds take back (their flocks): And our father is a very old man."		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
34 অতঃপর মূসা তাদের জন্তুদেরকে পানি পান করালেন। অতঃপর তিনি ছায়ার দিকে সরে গেলেন এবং বললেন, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, তুমি আমার প্রতি যে অনুগ্রহ নাযিল করবে, আমি তার মুখাপেক্ষী।
So he watered (their flocks) for them; then he turned back to the shade, and said:"O my Lord! truly am I in (desperate) need of any good that Thou dost send me!"		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
35 এমন অনেক জন্তু আছে, যারা তাদের খাদ্য সঞ্চিত রাখে না। আল্লাহই রিযিক দেন তাদেরকে এবং তোমাদেরকেও। তিনি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
How many are the creatures that carry not their own sustenance? It is Allah who feeds (both) them and you: for He hears and knows (all things).		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
36 তিনি খুঁটি ব্যতীত আকাশমন্ডলী সৃষ্টি করেছেন; তোমরা তা দেখছ। তিনি পৃথিবীতে স্থাপন করেছেন পর্বতমালা, যাতে পৃথিবী তোমাদেরকে নিয়ে ঢলে না পড়ে এবং এতে ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন সর্বপ্রকার জন্তু। আমি আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেছি, অতঃপর তাতে উদগত করেছি সর্বপ্রকার কল্যাণকর উদ্ভিদরাজি।
He created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; He set on the earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you; and He scattered through it beasts of all kinds. We send down rain from the sky, and produce on the earth every kind of noble creature, in pairs.		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
37 তারা কি লক্ষ্য করে না যে, আমি উষর ভূমিতে পানি প্রবাহিত করে শস্য উদগত করি, যা থেকে ভক্ষণ করে তাদের জন্তুরা এবং তারা কি দেখে না?
And do they not see that We do drive rain to parched soil (bare of herbage), and produce therewith crops, providing food for their cattle and themselves? Have they not the vision?		 (সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
38 অনুরূপ ভাবে বিভিন্ন বর্ণের মানুষ, জন্তু, চতুস্পদ প্রাণী রয়েছে। আল্লাহর বান্দাদের মধ্যে জ্ঞানীরাই কেবল তাঁকে ভয় করে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী ক্ষমাময়।
And so amongst men and crawling creatures and cattle, are they of various colours. Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
39 তারা কি দেখে না, তাদের জন্যে আমি আমার নিজ হাতের তৈরী বস্তুর দ্বারা চতুস্পদ জন্তু সৃষ্টি করেছি, অতঃপর তারাই এগুলোর মালিক।
See they not that it is We Who have created for them - among the things which Our hands have fashioned - cattle, which are under their dominion?-		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
40 তাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মধ্যে অনেক উপকারিতা ও পানীয় রয়েছে। তবুও কেন তারা শুকরিয়া আদায় করে না?
And they have (other) profits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink. Will they not then be grateful?		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
41 আমি তার পরিবর্তে দিলাম যবেহ করার জন্যে এক মহান জন্তু।
And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice:		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১০৭)
42 তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদেরকে একই ব্যক্তি থেকে। অতঃপর তা থেকে তার যুগল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের জন্যে আট প্রকার চতুষ্পদ জন্তু অবতীর্ণ করেছেন। তিনি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমাদের মাতৃগর্ভে পর্যায়ক্রমে একের পর এক ত্রিবিধ অন্ধকারে। তিনি আল্লাহ তোমাদের পালনকর্তা, সাম্রাজ্য তাঁরই। তিনি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই। অতএব, তোমরা কোথায় বিভ্রান্ত হচ্ছ?
He created you (all) from a single person: then created, of like nature, his mate; and he sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs: He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness. such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)?		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
43 আল্লাহ তোমাদের জন্যে চতুস্পদ জন্তু সৃষ্টি করেছেন, যাতে কোন কোনটিই বাহন হিসাবে ব্যবহার কর এবং কোন কোনটিকে ভক্ষণ কর।
It is Allah Who made cattle for you, that ye may use some for riding and some for food;		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
44 তিনি নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের স্রষ্টা। তিনি তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে যুগল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং চতুস্পদ জন্তুদের মধ্য থেকে জোড়া সৃষ্টি করেছেন। এভাবে তিনি তোমাদের বংশ বিস্তার করেন। কোন কিছুই তাঁর অনুরূপ নয়। তিনি সব শুনেন, সব দেখেন।
(He is) the Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does He multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all things).		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
45 তাঁর এক নিদর্শন নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের সৃষ্টি এবং এতদুভয়ের মধ্যে তিনি যেসব জীব-জন্তু ছড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন। তিনি যখন ইচ্ছা এগুলোকে একত্রিত করতে সক্ষম।
And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills.		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
46 এবং যিনি সবকিছুর যুগল সৃষ্টি করেছেন এবং নৌকা ও চতুস্পদ জন্তুকে তোমাদের জন্যে যানবাহনে পরিণত করেছেন,
That has created pairs in all things, and has made for you ships and cattle on which ye ride,		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
47 আর তোমাদের সৃষ্টিতে এবং চারদিকে ছড়িয়ে রাখা জীব জন্তুর সৃজনের মধ্যেও নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে বিশ্বাসীদের জন্য।
And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith.		 (আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
48 যারা বিশ্বাস করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে জান্নাতে দাখিল করবেন, যার নিম্নদেশে নির্ঝরিণীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। আর যারা কাফের, তারা ভোগ-বিলাসে মত্ত থাকে এবং চতুস্পদ জন্তুর মত আহার করে। তাদের বাসস্থান জাহান্নাম।
Verily Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode.		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
49 তারাই তো কুফরী করেছে এবং বাধা দিয়েছে তোমাদেরকে মসজিদে হারাম থেকে এবং অবস্থানরত কোরবানীর জন্তুদেরকে যথাস্থানে পৌছতে। যদি মক্কায় কিছুসংখ্যক ঈমানদার পুরুষ ও ঈমানদার নারী না থাকত, যাদেরকে তোমরা জানতে না। অর্থাৎ তাদের পিষ্ট হয়ে যাওয়ার আশংকা না থাকত, অতঃপর তাদের কারণে তোমরা অজ্ঞাতসারে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হতে, তবে সব কিছু চুকিয়ে দেয়া হত; কিন্তু এ কারণে চুকানো হয়নি, যাতে আল্লাহ তা’আলা যাকে ইচ্ছা স্বীয় রহমতে দাখিল করে নেন। যদি তারা সরে যেত, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তাদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের তাদেরকে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শস্তি দিতাম।
They are the ones who denied Revelation and hindered you from the Sacred Mosque and the sacrificial animals, detained from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom ye did not know that ye were trampling down and on whose account a crime would have accrued to you without (your) knowledge, (Allah would have allowed you to force your way, but He held back your hands) that He may admit to His Mercy whom He will. If they had been apart, We should certainly have punished the Unbelievers among them with a grievous Punishment.		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
50 তোমাদের ও তোমাদের চতুস্পদ জন্তুদের উপকারার্থে।
For use and convenience to you and your cattle.		 (আন-নযিআ'ত:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
51 তোমাদেরও তোমাদের চতুস্পদ জন্তুদের উপাকারার্থে।
For use and convenience to you and your cattle.		 (আবাসা:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
