নং আয়াত সূরা
1 এ সেই কিতাব যাতে কোনই সন্দেহ নেই। পথ প্রদর্শনকারী পরহেযগারদের জন্য,
This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah;		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২)
2 তোমরা কি মানুষকে সৎকর্মের নির্দেশ দাও এবং নিজেরা নিজেদেরকে ভূলে যাও, অথচ তোমরা কিতাব পাঠ কর? তবুও কি তোমরা চিন্তা কর না?
Do ye enjoin right conduct on the people, and forget (To practise it) yourselves, and yet ye study the Scripture? Will ye not understand?		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
3 আর (স্মরণ কর) যখন আমি মূসাকে কিতাব এবং সত্য-মিথ্যার পার্থক্য বিধানকারী নির্দেশ দান করেছি, যাতে তোমরা সরল পথ প্রাপ্ত হতে পার।
And remember We gave Moses the Scripture and the Criterion (Between right and wrong): There was a chance for you to be guided aright.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
4 আর আমি যখন তোমাদের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলাম এবং তুর পর্বতকে তোমাদের মাথার উপর তুলে ধরেছিলাম এই বলে যে, তোমাদিগকে যে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাকে ধর সুদৃঢ়ভাবে এবং এতে যা কিছু রয়েছে তা মনে রেখো যাতে তোমরা ভয় কর।
And remember We took your covenant and We raised above you (The towering height) of Mount (Sinai): (Saying): "Hold firmly to what We have given you and bring (ever) to remembrance what is therein: Perchance ye may fear Allah."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
5 অবশ্যই আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি। এবং তার পরে পর্যায়ক্রমে রসূল পাঠিয়েছি। আমি মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসাকে সুস্পষ্ট মোজেযা দান করেছি এবং পবিত্র রূহের মাধ্যমে তাকে শক্তিদান করেছি। অতঃপর যখনই কোন রসূল এমন নির্দেশ নিয়ে তোমাদের কাছে এসেছে, যা তোমাদের মনে ভাল লাগেনি, তখনই তোমরা অহংকার করেছ। শেষ পর্যন্ত তোমরা একদলকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছ এবং একদলকে হত্যা করেছ।
We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
6 যখন তাদের কাছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে কিতাব এসে পৌঁছাল, যা সে বিষয়ের সত্যায়ন করে, যা তাদের কাছে রয়েছে এবং তারা পূর্বে করত। অবশেষে যখন তাদের কাছে পৌঁছল যাকে তারা চিনে রেখেছিল, তখন তারা তা অস্বীকার করে বসল। অতএব, অস্বীকারকারীদের উপর আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত।
And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them,- although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without Faith,- when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognised, they refuse to believe in it but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৯)
7 যখন তাদের কাছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে একজন রসূল আগমন করলেন-যিনি ঐ কিতাবের সত্যায়ন করেন, যা তাদের কাছে রয়েছে, তখন আহলে কেতাবদের একদল আল্লাহর গ্রন্থকে পশ্চাতে নিক্ষেপ করল-যেন তারা জানেই না।
And when there came to them a messenger from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know!		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১০১)
8 আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরিকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদের মনঃপুত নয় যে, তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি কোন কল্যাণ অবতীর্ণ হোক। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা বিশেষ ভাবে স্বীয় অনুগ্রহ দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহান অনুগ্রহদাতা।
It is never the wish of those without Faith among the People of the Book, nor of the Pagans, that anything good should come down to you from your Lord. But Allah will choose for His special Mercy whom He will - for Allah is Lord of grace abounding.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫)
9 আহলে কিতাবদের অনেকেই প্রতিহিংসাবশতঃ চায় যে, মুসলমান হওয়ার পর তোমাদেরকে কোন রকমে কাফের বানিয়ে দেয়। তাদের কাছে সত্য প্রকাশিত হওয়ার পর (তারা এটা চায়)। যাক তোমরা আল্লাহর নির্দেশ আসা পর্যন্ত তাদের ক্ষমা কর এবং উপেক্ষা কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সব কিছুর উপর ক্ষমতাবান।
Quite a number of the People of the Book wish they could Turn you (people) back to infidelity after ye have believed, from selfish envy, after the Truth hath become Manifest unto them: But forgive and overlook, Till Allah accomplish His purpose; for Allah Hath power over all things.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১০৯)
10 ইহুদীরা বলে, খ্রীস্টানরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয় এবং খ্রীস্টানরা বলে, ইহুদীরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয়। অথচ ওরা সবাই কিতাব পাঠ করে! এমনিভাবে যারা মূর্খ, তারাও ওদের মতই উক্তি করে। অতএব, আল্লাহ কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছিল।
The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (To stand) upon." Yet they (Profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
11 হে পরওয়ারদেগার! তাদের মধ্যে থেকেই তাদের নিকট একজন পয়গম্বর প্রেরণ করুণ যিনি তাদের কাছে তোমার আয়াতসমূহ তেলাওয়াত করবেন, তাদেরকে কিতাব ও হেকমত শিক্ষা দিবেন। এবং তাদের পবিত্র করবেন। নিশ্চয় তুমিই পরাক্রমশালী হেকমতওয়ালা।
"Our Lord! send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in scripture and wisdom, and sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise."		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৯)
12 নিশ্চয়ই আমি আপনাকে বার বার আকাশের দিকে তাকাতে দেখি। অতএব, অবশ্যই আমি আপনাকে সে কেবলার দিকেই ঘুরিয়ে দেব যাকে আপনি পছন্দ করেন। এখন আপনি মসজিদুল-হারামের দিকে মুখ করুন এবং তোমরা যেখানেই থাক, সেদিকে মুখ কর। যারা আহলে-কিতাব, তারা অবশ্যই জানে যে, এটাই ঠিক পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে। আল্লাহ বেখবর নন, সে সমস্ত কর্ম সম্পর্কে যা তারা করে।
We see the turning of thy face (for guidance to the heavens: now Shall We turn thee to a Qibla that shall please thee. Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction. The people of the Book know well that that is the truth from their Lord. Nor is Allah unmindful of what they do.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৪)
13 যদি আপনি আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে সমুদয় নিদর্শন উপস্থাপন করেন, তবুও তারা আপনার কেবলা মেনে নেবে না এবং আপনিও তাদের কেবলা মানেন না। তারাও একে অন্যের কেবলা মানে না। যদি আপনি তাদের বাসনার অনুসরণ করেন, সে জ্ঞানলাভের পর, যা আপনার কাছে পৌঁছেছে, তবে নিশ্চয় আপনি অবিচারকারীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন।
Even if thou wert to bring to the people of the Book all the Signs (together), they would not follow Thy Qibla; nor art thou going to follow their Qibla; nor indeed will they follow each other's Qibla. If thou after the knowledge hath reached thee, Wert to follow their (vain) desires,-then wert thou Indeed (clearly) in the wrong.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৫)
14 আমি যাদেরকে কিতাব দান করেছি, তারা তাকে চেনে, যেমন করে চেনে নিজেদের পুত্রদেরকে। আর নিশ্চয়ই তাদের একটি সম্প্রদায় জেনে শুনে সত্যকে গোপন করে।
The people of the Book know this as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves know.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪৬)
15 যেমন, আমি পাঠিয়েছি তোমাদেরই মধ্য থেকে তোমাদের জন্যে একজন রসূল, যিনি তোমাদের নিকট আমার বাণীসমুহ পাঠ করবেন এবং তোমাদের পবিত্র করবেন; আর তোমাদের শিক্ষা দেবেন কিতাব ও তাঁর তত্ত্বজ্ঞান এবং শিক্ষা দেবেন এমন বিষয় যা কখনো তোমরা জানতে না।
A similar (favour have ye already received) in that We have sent among you a Messenger of your own, rehearsing to you Our Signs, and sanctifying you, and instructing you in Scripture and Wisdom, and in new knowledge.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫১)
16 নিশ্চয় যারা গোপন করে, আমি যেসব বিস্তারিত তথ্য এবং হেদায়েতের কথা নাযিল করেছি মানুষের জন্য কিতাবের মধ্যে বিস্তারিত বর্ণনা করার পরও; সে সমস্ত লোকের প্রতিই আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত এবং অন্যান্য অভিসম্পাতকারীগণের ও।
Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,-		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৯)
17 নিশ্চয় যারা সেসব বিষয় গোপন করে, যা আল্লাহ কিতাবে নাযিল করেছেন এবং সেজন্য অল্প মূল্য গ্রহণ করে, তারা আগুন ছাড়া নিজের পেটে আর কিছুই ঢুকায় না। আর আল্লাহ কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের সাথে না কথা বলবেন, না তাদের পবিত্র করা হবে, বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
Those who conceal Allah's revelations in the Book, and purchase for them a miserable profit,- they swallow into themselves naught but Fire; Allah will not address them on the Day of Resurrection. Nor purify them: Grievous will be their penalty.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৪)
18 আর এটা এজন্যে যে, আল্লাহ নাযিল করেছেন সত্যপূর্ণ কিতাব। আর যারা কেতাবের মাঝে মতবিরোধ সৃষ্টি করেছে নিশ্চয়ই তারা জেদের বশবর্তী হয়ে অনেক দূরে চলে গেছে।
(Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth but those who seek causes of dispute in the Book are in a schism Far (from the purpose).		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৬)
19 সকল মানুষ একই জাতি সত্তার অন্তর্ভুক্ত ছিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তা’আলা পয়গম্বর পাঠালেন সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতি প্রদর্শনকরী হিসাবে। আর তাঁদের সাথে অবর্তীণ করলেন সত্য কিতাব, যাতে মানুষের মাঝে বিতর্কমূলক বিষয়ে মীমাংসা করতে পারেন। বস্তুতঃ কিতাবের ব্যাপারে অন্য কেউ মতভেদ করেনি; কিন্তু পরিষ্কার নির্দেশ এসে যাবার পর নিজেদের পারস্পরিক জেদবশতঃ তারাই করেছে, যারা কিতাব প্রাপ্ত হয়েছিল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ ঈমানদারদেরকে হেদায়েত করেছেন সেই সত্য বিষয়ে, যে ব্যাপারে তারা মতভেদ লিপ্ত হয়েছিল। আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা, সরল পথ বাতলে দেন।
Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy. Allah by His Grace Guided the believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guided whom He will to a path that is straight.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২১৩)
20 আর যখন তোমরা স্ত্রীদেরকে তালাক দিয়ে দাও, অতঃপর তারা নির্ধারিত ইদ্দত সমাপ্ত করে নেয়, তখন তোমরা নিয়ম অনুযায়ী তাদেরকে রেখে দাও অথবা সহানুভুতির সাথে তাদেরকে মুক্ত করে দাও। আর তোমরা তাদেরকে জ্বালাতন ও বাড়াবাড়ি করার উদ্দেশ্যে আটকে রেখো না। আর যারা এমন করবে, নিশ্চয়ই তারা নিজেদেরই ক্ষতি করবে। আর আল্লাহর নির্দেশকে হাস্যকর বিষয়ে পরিণত করো না। আল্লাহর সে অনুগ্রহের কথা স্মরণ কর, যা তোমাদের উপর রয়েছে এবং তাও স্মরণ কর, যে কিতাব ও জ্ঞানের কথা তোমাদের উপর নাযিল করা হয়েছে যার দ্বারা তোমাদেরকে উপদেশ দান করা হয়। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং জেনে রাখ যে, আল্লাহ সর্ববিষয়েই জ্ঞানময়।
When ye divorce women, and they fulfil the term of their ('Iddat), either take them back on equitable terms or set them free on equitable terms; but do not take them back to injure them, (or) to take undue advantage; if any one does that; He wrongs his own soul. Do not treat Allah's Signs as a jest, but solemnly rehearse Allah's favours on you, and the fact that He sent down to you the Book and Wisdom, for your instruction. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is well acquainted with all things.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৩১)
21 তিনি আপনার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন সত্যতার সাথে; যা সত্যায়ন করে পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবসমুহের।
It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
22 নাযিল করেছেন তাওরত ও ইঞ্জিল, এ কিতাবের পূর্বে, মানুষের হেদায়েতের জন্যে এবং অবতীর্ণ করেছেন মীমাংসা। নিঃসন্দেহে যারা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে, তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠিন আযাব। আর আল্লাহ হচ্ছেন পরাক্রমশীল, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী।
Then those who reject Faith in the Signs of Allah will suffer the severest penalty, and Allah is Exalted in Might, Lord of Retribution.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
23 তিনিই আপনার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন। তাতে কিছু আয়াত রয়েছে সুস্পষ্ট, সেগুলোই কিতাবের আসল অংশ। আর অন্যগুলো রূপক। সুতরাং যাদের অন্তরে কুটিলতা রয়েছে, তারা অনুসরণ করে ফিৎনা বিস্তার এবং অপব্যাখ্যার উদ্দেশে তন্মধ্যেকার রূপকগুলোর। আর সেগুলোর ব্যাখ্যা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত কেউ জানে না। আর যারা জ্ঞানে সুগভীর, তারা বলেনঃ আমরা এর প্রতি ঈমান এনেছি। এই সবই আমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। আর বোধশক্তি সম্পন্নেরা ছাড়া অপর কেউ শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করে না।
He it is Who has sent down to thee the Book: In it are verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning); they are the foundation of the Book: others are allegorical. But those in whose hearts is perversity follow the part thereof that is allegorical, seeking discord, and searching for its hidden meanings, but no one knows its hidden meanings except Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in the Book; the whole of it is from our Lord:" and none will grasp the Message except men of understanding.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
24 নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহর নিকট গ্রহণযোগ্য দ্বীন একমাত্র ইসলাম। এবং যাদের প্রতি কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তাদের নিকট প্রকৃত জ্ঞান আসার পরও ওরা মতবিরোধে লিপ্ত হয়েছে, শুধুমাত্র পরস্পর বিদ্বেষবশতঃ, যারা আল্লাহর নিদর্শনসমূহের প্রতি কুফরী করে তাদের জানা উচিত যে, নিশ্চিতরূপে আল্লাহ হিসাব গ্রহণে অত্যন্ত দ্রুত।
The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
25 যদি তারা তোমার সাথে বিতর্কে অবতীর্ণ হয় তবে বলে দাও, "আমি এবং আমার অনুসরণকারীগণ আল্লাহর প্রতি আত্নসমর্পণ করেছি।" আর আহলে কিতাবদের এবং নিরক্ষরদের বলে দাও যে, তোমরাও কি আত্নসমর্পণ করেছ? তখন যদি তারা আত্নসমর্পণ করে, তবে সরল পথ প্রাপ্ত হলো, আর যদি মুখ ঘুরিয়ে নেয়, তাহলে তোমার দায়িত্ব হলো শুধু পৌছে দেয়া। আর আল্লাহর দৃষ্টিতে রয়েছে সকল বান্দা।
So if they dispute with thee, say: "I have submitted My whole self to Allah and so have those who follow me." And say to the People of the Book and to those who are unlearned: "Do ye (also) submit yourselves?" If they do, they are in right guidance, but if they turn back, Thy duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah's sight are (all) His servants.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
26 আপনি কি তাদের দেখেননি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ পেয়েছে-আল্লাহর কিতাবের প্রতি তাদের আহবান করা হয়েছিল যাতে তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করা যায়। অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে একদল তা অমান্য করে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah, to settle their dispute, but a party of them Turn back and decline (The arbitration).		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
27 আর তাকে তিনি শিখিয়ে দেবেন কিতাব, হিকমত, তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল।
"And Allah will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
28 আর এটি পূর্ববর্তী কিতাব সমুহকে সত্যায়ন করে, যেমন তওরাত। আর তা এজন্য যাতে তোমাদের জন্য হালাল করে দেই কোন কোন বস্তু যা তোমাদের জন্য হারাম ছিল। আর আমি তোমাদের নিকট এসেছি তোমাদের পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসহ। কাজেই আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং আমার অনুসরণ কর।
"'(I have come to you), to attest the Law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was (Before) forbidden to you; I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. So fear Allah, and obey me.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৫০)
29 বলুনঃ ‘হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! একটি বিষয়ের দিকে আস-যা আমাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সমান-যে, আমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কারও ইবাদত করব না, তাঁর সাথে কোন শরীক সাব্যস্ত করব না এবং একমাত্র আল্লাহকে ছাড়া কাউকে পালনকর্তা বানাব না। তারপর যদি তারা স্বীকার না করে, তাহলে বলে দাও যে, ‘সাক্ষী থাক আমরা তো অনুগত।
Say: "O People of the Book! come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but Allah; that we associate no partners with him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah." If then they turn back, say ye: "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allah's Will).		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৪)
30 হে আহলে কিতাবগণ! কেন তোমরা ইব্রাহীমের বিষয়ে বাদানুবাদ কর? অথচ তওরাত ও ইঞ্জিল তাঁর পরেই নাযিল হয়েছে। তোমরা কি বুঝ না?
Ye People of the Book! Why dispute ye about Abraham, when the Law and the Gospel Were not revealed Till after him? Have ye no understanding?		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
31 কোন কোন আহলে-কিতাবের আকাঙ্খা, যাতে তোমাদের গোমরাহ করতে পারে, কিন্তু তারা নিজেদের ছাড়া অন্য কাউকেই গোমরাহ করে না। অথচ তারা বুঝতে পারে না।
It is the wish of a section of the People of the Book to lead you astray. But they shall lead astray (Not you), but themselves, and they do not perceive!		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
32 হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ, কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর কালামকে অস্বীকার কর, অথচ তোমরাই তাঁর প্রবক্তা?
Ye People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, of which ye are (Yourselves) witnesses?		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
33 হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, কেন তোমরা সত্যকে মিথ্যার সাথে সংমিশ্রণ করছ এবং সত্যকে গোপন করছ, অথচ তোমরা তা জান।
Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge?		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
34 আর আহলে-কিতাবগণের একদল বললো, মুসলমানগণের উপর যা কিছু অবর্তীণ হয়েছে তাকে দিনের প্রথম ভাগে মেনে নাও, আর দিনের শেষ ভাগে অস্বীকার ক র, হয়তো তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিতে পারে।
A section of the People of the Book say: "Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers, but reject it at the end of the day; perchance they may (themselves) Turn back;		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
35 কোন কোন আহলে কিতাব এমনও রয়েছে, তোমরা যদি তাদের কাছে বহু ধন-সম্পদ আমানত রাখ, তাহলেও তা তোমাদের যথারীতি পরিশোধ করবে। আর তোদের মধ্যে অনেক এমনও রয়েছে যারা একটি দীনার গচ্ছিত রাখলেও ফেরত দেবে না-যে পর্যন্ত না তুমি তার মাথার উপর দাঁড়াতে পারবে। এটা এজন্য যে, তারা বলে রেখেছে যে, উম্মীদের অধিকার বিনষ্ট করাতে আমাদের কোন পাপ নেই। আর তারা আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে জেনে শুনেই মিথ্যা বলে।
Among the People of the Book are some who, if entrusted with a hoard of gold, will (readily) pay it back; others, who, if entrusted with a single silver coin, will not repay it unless thou constantly stoodest demanding, because, they say, "there is no call on us (to keep faith) with these ignorant (Pagans)." but they tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
36 আর তাদের মধ্যে একদল রয়েছে, যারা বিকৃত উচ্চারণে মুখ বাঁকিয়ে কিতাব পাঠ করে, যাতে তোমরা মনে কর যে, তার কিতাব থেকেই পাঠ করছে। অথচ তারা যা আবৃত্তি করছে তা আদৌ কিতাব নয়। এবং তারা বলে যে, এসব কথা আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে আগত। অথচ এসব আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে প্রেরিত নয়। তারা বলে যে, এটি আল্লাহর কথা অথচ এসব আল্লাহর কথা নয়। আর তারা জেনে শুনে আল্লাহরই প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে।
There is among them a section who distort the Book with their tongues: (As they read) you would think it is a part of the Book, but it is no part of the Book; and they say, "That is from Allah," but it is not from Allah: It is they who tell a lie against Allah, and (well) they know it!		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
37 কোন মানুষকে আল্লাহ কিতাব, হেকমত ও নবুওয়ত দান করার পর সে বলবে যে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহকে পরিহার করে আমার বান্দা হয়ে যাও’-এটা সম্ভব নয়। বরং তারা বলবে, ‘তোমরা আল্লাহওয়ালা হয়ে যাও, যেমন, তোমরা কিতাব শিখাতে এবং যেমন তোমরা নিজেরা ও পড়তে।
It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's": on the contrary (He would say) "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: For ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৭৯)
38 আর আল্লাহ যখন নবীগনের কাছ থেকে অস্বীকার গ্রহন করলেন যে, আমি যা কিছু তোমাদের দান করেছি কিতাব ও জ্ঞান এবং অতঃপর তোমাদের নিকট কোন রসূল আসেন তোমাদের কিতাবকে সত্য বলে দেয়ার জন্য, তখন সে রসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনবে এবং তার সাহায্য করবে। তিনি বললেন, ‘তোমার কি অঙ্গীকার করছো এবং এই শর্তে আমার ওয়াদা গ্রহণ করে নিয়েছ? তারা বললো, ‘আমরা অঙ্গীকার করেছি’। তিনি বললেন, তাহলে এবার সাক্ষী থাক। আর আমিও তোমাদের সাথে সাক্ষী রইলাম।
Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
39 বলুন, হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর কিতাব অমান্য করছো, অথচ তোমরা যা কিছু কর, তা আল্লাহর সামনেই রয়েছে।
Say: "O People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, when Allah is Himself witness to all ye do?"		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৯৮)
40 বলুন, হে আহলে কিতাবগণ! কেন তোমরা আল্লাহর পথে ঈমানদারদিগকে বাধা দান কর-তোমরা তাদের দ্বীনের মধ্যে বক্রতা অনুপ্রবেশ করানোর পন্থা অনুসন্ধান কর, অথচ তোমরা এ পথের সত্যতা প্রত্যক্ষ করছ। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদের কার্যকলাপ সম্পর্কে অনবগত নন।
Say: "O ye People of the Book! Why obstruct ye those who believe, from the path of Allah, Seeking to make it crooked, while ye were yourselves witnesses (to Allah's Covenant)? but Allah is not unmindful of all that ye do."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৯৯)
41 হে ঈমানদারগণ! তোমরা যদি আহলে কিতাবদের কোন ফেরকার কথা মান, তাহলে ঈমান আনার পর তারা তোমাদিগকে কাফেরে পরিণত করে দেবে।
O ye who believe! If ye listen to a faction among the People of the Book, they would (indeed) render you apostates after ye have believed!		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১০০)
42 তোমরাই হলে সর্বোত্তম উম্মত, মানবজাতির কল্যানের জন্যেই তোমাদের উদ্ভব ঘটানো হয়েছে। তোমরা সৎকাজের নির্দেশ দান করবে ও অন্যায় কাজে বাধা দেবে এবং আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমান আনবে। আর আহলে-কিতাবরা যদি ঈমান আনতো, তাহলে তা তাদের জন্য মঙ্গলকর হতো। তাদের মধ্যে কিছু তো রয়েছে ঈমানদার আর অধিকাংশই হলো পাপাচারী।
Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১০)
43 তারা সবাই সমান নয়। আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে কিছু লোক এমনও আছে যারা অবিচলভাবে আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করে এবং রাতের গভীরে তারা সেজদা করে।
Not all of them are alike: Of the People of the Book are a portion that stand (For the right): They rehearse the Signs of Allah all night long, and they prostrate themselves in adoration.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
44 দেখ! তোমরাই তাদের ভালবাস, কিন্তু তারা তোমাদের প্রতি মোটেও সদভাব পোষণ করে না। আর তোমরা সমস্ত কিতাবেই বিশ্বাস কর। অথচ তারা যখন তোমাদের সাথে এসে মিশে, বলে, আমরা ঈমান এনেছি। পক্ষান্তরে তারা যখন পৃথক হয়ে যায়, তখন তোমাদের উপর রোষবশতঃ আঙ্গুল কামড়াতে থাকে। বলুন, তোমরা আক্রোশে মরতে থাক। আর আল্লাহ মনের কথা ভালই জানেন।
Ah! ye are those who love them, but they love you not,- though ye believe in the whole of the Book. When they meet you, they say, "We believe": But when they are alone, they bite off the very tips of their fingers at you in their rage. Say: "Perish in your rage; Allah knoweth well all the secrets of the heart."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১১৯)
45 আল্লাহ ঈমানদারদের উপর অনুগ্রহ করেছেন যে, তাদের মাঝে তাদের নিজেদের মধ্য থেকে নবী পাঠিয়েছেন। তিনি তাদের জন্য তাঁর আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন। তাদেরকে পরিশোধন করেন এবং তাদেরকে কিতাব ও কাজের কথা শিক্ষা দেন। বস্তুতঃ তারা ছিল পূর্ব থেকেই পথভ্রষ্ট।
Allah did confer a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a messenger from among themselves, rehearsing unto them the Signs of Allah, sanctifying them, and instructing them in Scripture and Wisdom, while, before that, they had been in manifest error.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৪)
46 অবশ্য ধন-সম্পদে এবং জনসম্পদে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা হবে এবং অবশ্য তোমরা শুনবে পূর্ববর্তী আহলে কিতাবদের কাছে এবং মুশরেকদের কাছে বহু অশোভন উক্তি। আর যদি তোমরা ধৈর্য্য ধারণ কর এবং পরহেযগারী অবলম্বন কর, তবে তা হবে একান্ত সৎসাহসের ব্যাপার।
Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৬)
47 আর আল্লাহ যখন আহলে কিতাবদের কাছ থেকে প্রতিজ্ঞা গ্রহণ করলেন যে, তা মানুষের নিকট বর্ণনা করবে এবং গোপন করবে না, তখন তারা সে প্রতিজ্ঞাকে নিজেদের পেছনে ফেলে রাখল আর তার কেনা-বেচা করল সামান্য মূল্যের বিনিময়ে। সুতরাং কতই না মন্দ তাদের এ বেচা-কেনা।
And remember Allah took a covenant from the People of the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And vile was the bargain they made!		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৭)
48 আর আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ এমনও রয়েছে, যারা আল্লাহর উপর ঈমান আনে এবং যা কিছু তোমার উপর অবতীর্ণ হয় আর যা কিছু তাদের উপর অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে সেগুলোর উপর, আল্লাহর সামনে বিনয়াবনত থাকে এবং আল্লার আয়াতসমুহকে স্বল্পমুল্যের বিনিময়ে সওদা করে না, তারাই হলো সে লোক যাদের জন্য পারিশ্রমিক রয়েছে তাদের পালনকর্তার নিকট। নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ যথাশীঘ্র হিসাব চুকিয়ে দেন।
And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book, those who believe in Allah, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to Allah: They will not sell the Signs of Allah for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and Allah is swift in account.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৯)
49 তুমি কি ওদের দেখনি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, (অথচ) তারা পথভ্রষ্টতা খরিদ করে এবং কামনা করে, যাতে তোমরাও আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে যাও।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they traffic in error, and wish that ye should lose the right path.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
50 তুমি কি তাদেরকে দেখনি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, যারা মান্য করে প্রতিমা ও শয়তানকে এবং কাফেরদেরকে বলে যে, এরা মুসলমানদের তুলনায় অধিকতর সরল সঠিক পথে রয়েছে।
Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they believe in sorcery and Evil, and say to the Unbelievers that they are better guided in the (right) way Than the believers!		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
51 নাকি যাকিছু আল্লাহ তাদেরকে স্বীয় অনুগ্রহে দান করেছেন সে বিষয়ের জন্য মানুষকে হিংসা করে। অবশ্যই আমি ইব্রাহীমের বংশধরদেরকে কিতাব ও হেকমত দান করেছিলাম আর তাদেরকে দান করেছিলাম বিশাল রাজ্য।
Or do they envy mankind for what Allah hath given them of his bounty? but We had already given the people of Abraham the Book and Wisdom, and conferred upon them a great kingdom.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
52 নিশ্চয় আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করেছি, যাতে আপনি মানুষের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করেন, যা আল্লাহ আপনাকে হৃদয়ঙ্গম করান। আপনি বিশ্বাসঘাতকদের পক্ষ থেকে বিতর্ককারী হবেন না।
We have sent down to thee the Book in truth, that thou mightest judge between men, as guided by Allah: so be not (used) as an advocate by those who betray their trust;		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১০৫)
53 তোমাদের আশার উপর ও ভিত্তি নয় এবং আহলে-কিতাবদের আশার উপরও না। যে কেউ মন্দ কাজ করবে, সে তার শাস্তি পাবে এবং সে আল্লাহ ছাড়া নিজের কোন সমর্থক বা সাহায্যকারী পাবে না।
Not your desires, nor those of the People of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides Allah, any protector or helper.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৩)
54 হে ঈমানদারগণ, আল্লাহর উপর পরিপূর্ণ বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর এবং বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর তাঁর রসূলও তাঁর কিতাবের উপর, যা তিনি নাযিল করেছেন স্বীয় রসূলের উপর এবং সেসমস্ত কিতাবের উপর, যেগুলো নাযিল করা হয়েছিল ইতিপূর্বে। যে আল্লাহর উপর, তাঁর ফেরেশতাদের উপর, তাঁর কিতাব সমূহের উপর এবং রসূলগণের উপর ও কিয়ামতদিনের উপর বিশ্বাস করবে না, সে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়ে বহু দূরে গিয়ে পড়বে।
O ye who believe! Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and the scripture which He hath sent to His Messenger and the scripture which He sent to those before (him). Any who denieth Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Day of Judgment, hath gone far, far astray.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৬)
55 আপনার নিকট আহলে-কিতাবরা আবেদন জানায় যে, আপনি তাদের উপর আসমান থেকে লিখিত কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করিয়ে নিয়ে আসুন। বস্তুতঃ এরা মূসার কাছে এর চেয়েও বড় জিনিস চেয়েছে। বলেছে, একেবারে সামনাসামনিভাবে আমাদের আল্লাহকে দেখিয়ে দাও। অতএব, তাদের উপর বজ্রপাত হয়েছে তাদের পাপের দরুন; অতঃপর তাদের নিকট সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ-নিদর্শন প্রকাশিত হবার পরেও তারা গো-বৎসকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করেছিল; তাও আমি ক্ষমা করে দিয়েছিলাম এবং আমি মূসাকে প্রকৃষ্ট প্রভাব দান করেছিলাম।
The people of the Book ask thee to cause a book to descend to them from heaven: Indeed they asked Moses for an even greater (miracle), for they said: "Show us Allah in public," but they were dazed for their presumption, with thunder and lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৩)
56 আর আহলে-কিতাবদের মধ্যে যত শ্রেণী রয়েছে তারা সবাই ঈমান আনবে ঈসার উপর তাদের মৃত্যুর পূর্বে। আর কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের জন্য সাক্ষীর উপর সাক্ষী উপস্থিত হবে।
And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৯)
57 হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! তোমরা দ্বীনের ব্যাপারে বাড়াবাড়ি করো না এবং আল্লাহর শানে নিতান্ত সঙ্গত বিষয় ছাড়া কোন কথা বলো না। নিঃসন্দেহে মরিয়ম পুত্র মসীহ ঈসা আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর বাণী যা তিনি প্রেরণ করেছেন মরিয়মের নিকট এবং রূহ-তাঁরই কাছ থেকে আগত। অতএব, তোমরা আল্লাহকে এবং তার রসূলগণকে মান্য কর। আর একথা বলো না যে, আল্লাহ তিনের এক, একথা পরিহার কর; তোমাদের মঙ্গল হবে। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহ একক উপাস্য। সন্তান-সন্ততি হওয়াটা তাঁর যোগ্য বিষয় নয়। যা কিছু আসমান সমূহ ও যমীনে রয়েছে সবই তার। আর কর্মবিধানে আল্লাহই যথেষ্ট।
O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not "Trinity": desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭১)
58 আজ তোমাদের জন্য পবিত্র বস্তুসমূহ হালাল করা হল। আহলে কিতাবদের খাদ্য তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল এবং তোমাদের খাদ্য তাদের জন্য হালাল। তোমাদের জন্যে হালাল সতী-সাধ্বী মুসলমান নারী এবং তাদের সতী-সাধ্বী নারী, যাদেরকে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছে তোমাদের পূর্বে, যখন তোমরা তাদেরকে মোহরানা প্রদান কর তাদেরকে স্ত্রী করার জন্যে, কামবাসনা চরিতার্থ করার জন্যে কিংবা গুপ্ত প্রেমে লিপ্ত হওয়ার জন্যে নয়। যে ব্যক্তি বিশ্বাসের বিষয় অবিশ্বাস করে, তার শ্রম বিফলে যাবে এবং পরকালে সে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হবে।
This day are (all) things good and pure made lawful unto you. The food of the People of the Book is lawful unto you and yours is lawful unto them. (Lawful unto you in marriage) are (not only) chaste women who are believers, but chaste women among the People of the Book, revealed before your time,- when ye give them their due dowers, and desire chastity, not lewdness, nor secret intrigues if any one rejects faith, fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good).		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
59 হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! তোমাদের কাছে আমার রাসূল আগমন করেছেন! কিতাবের যেসব বিষয় তোমরা গোপন করতে, তিনি তার মধ্য থেকে অনেক বিষয় প্রকাশ করেন এবং অনেক বিষয় মার্জনা করেন। তোমাদের কাছে একটি উজ্জল জ্যোতি এসেছে এবং একটি সমুজ্জল গ্রন্থ।
O people of the Book! There hath come to you our Messenger, revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): There hath come to you from Allah a (new) light and a perspicuous Book, -		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
60 হে আহলে-কিতাবগণ! তোমাদের কাছে আমার রসূল আগমণ করেছেন, যিনি পয়গম্বরদের বিরতির পর তোমাদের কাছে পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ বর্ণনা করেন-যাতে তোমরা একথা বলতে না পার যে, আমাদের কাছে কোন সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতিপ্রদর্শক আগমন করে নি। অতএব, তোমাদের কাছে সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভীতি প্রদর্শক আগমন করেননি। অতএব, তোমাদের কাছে সুসংবাদদাতা ও ভয় প্রদর্শক এসে গেছেন। আল্লাহ সবকিছুর উপর শক্তিমান।
O People of the Book! Now hath come unto you, making (things) clear unto you, Our Messenger, after the break in (the series of) our messengers, lest ye should say: "There came unto us no bringer of glad tidings and no warner (from evil)": But now hath come unto you a bringer of glad tidings and a warner (from evil). And Allah hath power over all things.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
61 হে মুমিনগণ, আহলে কিতাবদের মধ্য থেকে যারা তোমাদের ধর্মকে উপহাস ও খেলা মনে করে, তাদেরকে এবং অন্যান্য কাফেরকে বন্ধু রূপে গ্রহণ করো না। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর, যদি তোমরা ঈমানদার হও।
O ye who believe! take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport,- whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed).		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৭)
62 বলুনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, আমাদের সাথে তোমাদের এছাড়া কি শত্রুতা যে, আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি আল্লাহর প্রতি, আমাদের উপর অবতীর্ণ গ্রন্থের প্রতি এবং পূর্বে অবতীর্ণ গ্রন্থের প্রতি। আর তোমাদের অধিকাংশই নাফরমান।
Say: "O people of the Book! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah, and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us), and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?"		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
63 আর যদি আহলে-কিতাবরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করত এবং খোদাভীতি অবলম্বন করত, তবে আমি তাদের মন্দ বিষয়সমূহ ক্ষমা করে দিতাম এবং তাদেরকে নেয়ামতের উদ্যানসমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করতাম।
If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
64 বলে দিনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগণ, তোমরা কোন পথেই নও, যে পর্যন্ত না তোমরা তওরাত, ইঞ্জিল এবং যে গ্রন্থ তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের প্রতি অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে তাও পুরোপুরি পালন না কর। আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছ থেকে আপনার প্রতি যা অবর্তীণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে তাদের অনেকের অবাধ্যতা ও কুফর বৃদ্ধি পাবে। অতএব, এ কাফের সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে দুঃখ করবেন না।
Say: "O People of the Book! ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to thee from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
65 বলুনঃ হে আহলে কিতাবগন, তোমরা স্বীয় ধর্মে অন্যায় বাড়াবাড়ি করো না এবং এতে ঐ সম্প্রদায়ের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করো না, যারা পূর্বে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়েছে এবং অনেককে পথভ্রষ্ট করেছে। তারা সরল পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে পড়েছে।
Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
66 যাদেরকে আমি কিতাব দান করেছি, তারা তাকে চিনে, যেমন তাদের সন্তানদেরকে চিনে। যারা নিজেদেরকে ক্ষতির মধ্যে ফেলেছে, তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না।
Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
67 তারপর তাদের পেছনে এসেছে কিছু অপদার্থ, যারা উত্তরাধিকারী হয়েছে কিতাবের; তারা নিকৃষ্ট পার্থিব উপকরণ আহরণ করছে এবং বলছে, আমাদের ক্ষমা করে দেয়া হবে। বস্তুতঃ এমনি ধরনের উপকরণ যদি আবারো তাদের সামনে উপস্থিত হয়, তবে তাও তুলে নেবে। তাদের কাছথেকে কিতাবে কি অঙ্গীকার নেয়া হয়নি যে, আল্লাহর প্রতি সত্য ছাড়া কিছু বলবে না? অথচ তারা সে সবই পাঠ করেছে, যা তাতে লেখা রয়েছে। বস্তুতঃ আখেরাতের আলয় ভীতদের জন্য উত্তম-তোমরা কি তা বোঝ না ?
After them succeeded an (evil) generation: They inherited the Book, but they chose (for themselves) the vanities of this world, saying (for excuse): "(Everything) will be forgiven us." (Even so), if similar vanities came their way, they would (again) seize them. Was not the covenant of the Book taken from them, that they would not ascribe to Allah anything but the truth? and they study what is in the Book. But best for the righteous is the home in the Hereafter. Will ye not understand?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬৯)
68 আর যেসব লোক সুদৃঢ়ভাবে কিতাবকে আঁকড়ে থাকে এবং নামায প্রতিষ্ঠা করে নিশ্চয়ই আমি বিনষ্ট করব না সৎকর্মীদের সওয়াব।
As to those who hold fast by the Book and establish regular prayer,- never shall We suffer the reward of the righteous to perish.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭০)
69 আমার সহায় তো হলেন আল্লাহ, যিনি কিতাব অবতীর্ণ করেছেন। বস্তুত; তিনিই সাহায্য করেন সৎকর্মশীল বান্দাদের।
"For my Protector is Allah, Who revealed the Book (from time to time), and He will choose and befriend the righteous.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৬)
70 তোমরা যুদ্ধ কর আহলে-কিতাবের ঐ লোকদের সাথে, যারা আল্লাহ ও রোজ হাশরে ঈমান রাখে না, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল যা হারাম করে দিয়েছেন তা হারাম করে না এবং গ্রহণ করে না সত্য ধর্ম, যতক্ষণ না করজোড়ে তারা জিযিয়া প্রদান করে।
Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.		 (আত তাওবাহ:

71 আলিফ-লাম-র, এগুলো হেকমতপূর্ণ কিতাবের আয়াত।
A. L. R. These are the ayats of the Book of Wisdom.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ১)
72 বস্তুতঃ যে কোন অবস্থাতেই তুমি থাক এবং কোরআনের যে কোন অংশ থেকেই পাঠ করা কিংবা যে কোন কাজই তোমরা কর অথচ আমি তোমাদের নিকটে উপস্থিত থাকি যখন তোমরা তাতে আত্ননিয়োগ কর। আর তোমার পরওয়ারদেগার থেকে গোপন থাকে না একটি কনাও, না যমীনের এবং না আসমানের। না এর চেয়ে ক্ষুদ্র কোন কিছু আছে, না বড় যা এই প্রকৃষ্ট কিতাবে নেই।
In whatever business thou mayest be, and whatever portion thou mayest be reciting from the Qur'an,- and whatever deed ye (mankind) may be doing,- We are witnesses thereof when ye are deeply engrossed therein. Nor is hidden from thy Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in heaven. And not the least and not the greatest of these things but are recorded in a clear record.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
73 সুতরাং তুমি যদি সে বস্তু সম্পর্কে কোন সন্দেহের সম্মুখীন হয়ে থাক যা তোমার প্রতি আমি নাযিল করেছি, তবে তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করো যারা তোমার পূর্ব থেকে কিতাব পাঠ করছে। এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই যে, তোমার পরওয়ারদেগারের নিকট থেকে তোমার নিকট সত্য বিষয় এসেছে। কাজেই তুমি কস্মিনকালেও সন্দেহকারী হয়ো না।
If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
74 আলিফ, লা-ম, রা; এটি এমন এক কিতাব, যার আয়াত সমূহ সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত অতঃপর সবিস্তারে বর্ণিত এক মহাজ্ঞানী, সর্বজ্ঞ সত্তার পক্ষ হতে।
A. L. R. (This is) a Book, with verses basic or fundamental (of established meaning), further explained in detail,- from One Who is Wise and Well-acquainted (with all things):		 (হুদ:

75 আর পৃথিবীতে কোন বিচরণশীল নেই, তবে সবার জীবিকার দায়িত্ব আল্লাহ নিয়েছেন তিনি জানেন তারা কোথায় থাকে এবং কোথায় সমাপিত হয়। সবকিছুই এক সুবিন্যস্ত কিতাবে রয়েছে।
There is no moving creature on earth but its sustenance dependeth on Allah: He knoweth the time and place of its definite abode and its temporary deposit: All is in a clear Record.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
76 আচ্ছা বল তো, যে ব্যক্তি তার প্রভুর সুস্পষ্ট পথে রয়েছে, আর সাথে সাথে আল্লাহর তরফ থেকে একটি সাক্ষীও বর্তমান রয়েছে এবং তার পূর্ববর্তী মূসা (আঃ) এর কিতাবও সাক্ষী যা ছিল পথনির্দেশক ও রহমত স্বরূপ, (তিনি কি অন্যান্যের সমান) অতএব তাঁরা কোরআনের প্রতি ঈমান আনেন। আর ঐসব দলগুলি যে কেউ তা অস্বীকার করে, দোযখই হবে তার ঠিকানা। অতএব, আপনি তাতে কোন সন্দেহে থাকবেন না। নিঃসন্দেহে তা আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে ধ্রুব সত্য; তথাপি অনেকেই তা বিশ্বাস করে না।
Can they be (like) those who accept a Clear (Sign) from their Lord, and whom a witness from Himself doth teach, as did the Book of Moses before it,- a guide and a mercy? They believe therein; but those of the Sects that reject it,- the Fire will be their promised meeting-place. Be not then in doubt thereon: for it is the truth from thy Lord: yet many among men do not believe!		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
77 আর আমি মূসা (আঃ)-কে অবশ্যই কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম অতঃপর তাতে বিরোধ সৃষ্টি হল; বলাবাহুল্য তোমার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে, একটি কথা যদি আগেই বলা না হত, তাহলে তাদের মধ্যে চুড়ান্ত ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত তারা এ ব্যাপারে এমনই সন্দেহ প্রবণ যে, কিছুতেই নিশ্চিত হতে পারছে না।
We certainly gave the Book to Moses, but differences arose therein: had it not been that a word had gone forth before from thy Lord, the matter would have been decided between them, but they are in suspicious doubt concerning it.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১০)
78 আলিফ-লাম-মীম-রা; এগুলো কিতাবের আয়াত। যা কিছু আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, তা সত্য। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ মানুষ এতে বিশ্বাস করে না।
A. L. M. R. These are the signs (or verses) of the Book: that which hath been revealed unto thee from thy Lord is the Truth; but most men believe not.		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ১)
79 আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি এবং সেটিকে বনী-ইসরাঈলের জন্যে হেদায়েতে পরিণত করেছি যে, তোমরা আমাকে ছাড়া কাউকে কার্যনিবাহী স্থির করো না।
We gave Moses the Book, and made it a Guide to the Children of Israel, (commanding): "Take not other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs."		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ২)
80 আমি বনী ইসরাঈলকে কিতাবে পরিষ্কার বলে দিয়েছি যে, তোমরা পৃথিবীর বুকে দুবার অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করবে এবং অত্যন্ত বড় ধরনের অবাধ্যতায় লিপ্ত হবে।
And We gave (Clear) Warning to the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do mischief on the earth and be elated with mighty arrogance (and twice would they be punished)!		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
81 আমি প্রত্যেক মানুষের কর্মকে তার গ্রীবলগ্ন করে রেখেছি। কেয়ামতের দিন বের করে দেখাব তাকে একটি কিতাব, যা সে খোলা অবস্থায় পাবে।
Every man's fate We have fastened on his own neck: On the Day of Judgment We shall bring out for him a scroll, which he will see spread open.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
82 পাঠ কর তুমি তোমার কিতাব। আজ তোমার হিসাব গ্রহণের জন্যে তুমিই যথেষ্ট।
(It will be said to him:) "Read thine (own) record: Sufficient is thy soul this day to make out an account against thee."		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
83 আপনার প্রতি আপনার পালনকর্তার যে, কিতাব প্রত্যাদিষ্ট করা হয়েছে, তা পাঠ করুন। তাঁর বাক্য পরিবর্তন করার কেউ নাই। তাঁকে ব্যতীত আপনি কখনই কোন আশ্রয় স্থল পাবেন না।
And recite (and teach) what has been revealed to thee of the Book of thy Lord: none can change His Words, and none wilt thou find as a refuge other than Him.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
84 এই কিতাবে মারইয়ামের কথা বর্ণনা করুন, যখন সে তার পরিবারের লোকজন থেকে পৃথক হয়ে পূর্বদিকে এক স্থানে আশ্রয় নিল।
Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
85 সন্তান বললঃ আমি তো আল্লাহর দাস। তিনি আমাকে কিতাব দিয়েছেন এবং আমাকে নবী করেছেন।
He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
86 আপনি এই কিতাবে ইব্রাহীমের কথা বর্ণনা করুন। নিশ্চয় তিনি ছিলেন সত্যবাদী, নবী।
(Also mention in the Book (the story of) Abraham: He was a man of Truth, a prophet.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
87 এই কিতাবে মূসার কথা বর্ণনা করুন, তিনি ছিলেন মনোনীত এবং তিনি ছিলেন রাসূল, নবী।
Also mention in the Book (the story of) Moses: for he was specially chosen, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
88 এই কিতাবে ইসমাঈলের কথা বর্ণনা করুন, তিনি প্রতিশ্রুতি পালনে সত্যাশ্রয়ী এবং তিনি ছিলেন রসূল, নবী।
Also mention in the Book (the story of) Isma'il: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet.		 (মারইয়াম:

89 এই কিতাবে ইদ্রীসের কথা আলোচনা করুন, তিনি ছিলেন সত্যবাদী নবী।

90 মানুষের হিসাব-কিতাবের সময় নিকটবর্তী; অথচ তারা বেখবর হয়ে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিচ্ছে।
Closer and closer to mankind comes their Reckoning: yet they heed not and they turn away.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১)
91 আমি তোমাদের প্রতি একটি কিতাব অবর্তীর্ণ করেছি; এতে তোমাদের জন্যে উপদেশ রয়েছে। তোমরা কি বোঝ না?
We have revealed for you (O men!) a book in which is a Message for you: will ye not then understand?		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
92 কতক মানুষ জ্ঞান; প্রমাণ ও উজ্জ্বল কিতাব ছাড়াই আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে বিতর্ক করে।
Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about Allah, without Knowledge, without Guidance, and without a Book of Enlightenment,-		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
93 তুমি কি জান না যে, আল্লাহ জানেন যা কিছু আকাশে ও ভুমন্ডলে আছে এসব কিতাবে লিখিত আছে। এটা আল্লাহর কাছে সহজ।
Knowest thou not that Allah knows all that is in heaven and on earth? Indeed it is all in a Record, and that is easy for Allah.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
94 আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম যাতে তারা সৎপথ পায়।
And We gave Moses the Book, in order that they might receive guidance.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
95 আমি কাউকে তার সাধ্যাতীত দায়িত্ব অর্পন করি না। আমার এক কিতাব আছে, যা সত্য ব্যক্ত করে এবং তাদের প্রতি জুলুম করা হবে না।
On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
96 আমি তো মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি এবং তাঁর সাথে তাঁর ভ্রাতা হারুনকে সাহায্যকারী করেছি।
(Before this,) We sent Moses The Book, and appointed his brother Aaron with him as minister;		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
97 এগুলো সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের আয়াত।
These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২)
98 নিশ্চয় এর উল্লেখ আছে পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবসমূহে।
Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৬)
99 ত্বা-সীন; এগুলো আল-কোরআনের আয়াত এবং আয়াত সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের।
These are verses of the Qur'an,-a book that makes (things) clear;		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ১)
100 কিতাবের জ্ঞান যার ছিল, সে বলল, আপনার দিকে আপনার চোখের পলক ফেলার পূর্বেই আমি তা আপনাকে এনে দেব। অতঃপর সুলায়মান যখন তা সামনে রক্ষিত দেখলেন, তখন বললেন এটা আমার পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ, যাতে তিনি আমাকে পরীক্ষা করেন যে, আমি কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করি, না অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করি। যে কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে, সে নিজের উপকারের জন্যেই কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে এবং যে অকৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে সে জানুক যে, আমার পালনকর্তা অভাবমুক্ত কৃপাশীল।
Said one who had knowledge of the Book: "I will bring it to thee within the twinkling of an eye!" Then when (Solomon) saw it placed firmly before him, he said: "This is by the Grace of my Lord!- to test me whether I am grateful or ungrateful! and if any is grateful, truly his gratitude is (a gain) for his own soul; but if any is ungrateful, truly my Lord is Free of all Needs, Supreme in Honour!"		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
101 আকাশে ও পৃথিবীতে এমন কোন গোপন ভেদ নেই, যা সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবে না আছে।
Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
102 এগুলো সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের আয়াত।
These are Verses of the Book that makes (things) clear.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ২)
103 আমি পূর্ববর্তী অনেক সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করার পর মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি মানুষের জন্যে জ্ঞানবর্তিকা। হেদায়েত ও রহমত, যাতে তারা স্মরণ রাখে।
We did reveal to Moses the Book after We had destroyed the earlier generations, (to give) Insight to men, and guidance and Mercy, that they might receive admonition.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
104 বলুন, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে এখন আল্লাহর কাছ থেকে কোন কিতাব আন, যা এতদুভয় থেকে উত্তম পথপ্রদর্শক হয়। আমি সেই কিতাব অনুসরণ করব।
Say: "Then bring ye a Book from Allah, which is a better guide than either of them, that I may follow it! (do), if ye are truthful!"		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
105 কোরআনের পূর্বে আমি যাদেরকে কিতাব দিয়েছি, তারা এতে বিশ্বাস করে।
Those to whom We sent the Book before this,- they do believe in this (revelation):		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
106 আপনি আশা করতেন না যে, আপনার প্রতি কিতাব অবর্তীর্ণ হবে। এটা কেবল আপনার পালনকর্তার রহমত। অতএব আপনি কাফেরদের সাহায্যকারী হবেন না।
And thou hadst not expected that the Book would be sent to thee except as a Mercy from thy Lord: Therefore lend not thou support in any way to those who reject (Allah's Message).		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
107 আমি তাকে দান করলাম ইসহাক ও ইয়াকুব, তাঁর বংশধরদের মধ্যে নবুওয়ত ও কিতাব রাখলাম এবং দুনিয়াতে তাঁকে পুরস্কৃত করলাম। নিশ্চয় পরকালে ও সে সৎলোকদর অন্তর্ভূক্ত হবে।
And We gave (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob, and ordained among his progeny Prophethood and Revelation, and We granted him his reward in this life; and he was in the Hereafter (of the company) of the Righteous.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
108 আপনি আপনার প্রতি প্রত্যাদিষ্ট কিতাব পাঠ করুন এবং নামায কায়েম করুন। নিশ্চয় নামায অশ্লীল ও গর্হিত কার্য থেকে বিরত রাখে। আল্লাহর স্মরণ সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ। আল্লাহ জানেন তোমরা যা কর।
Recite what is sent of the Book by inspiration to thee, and establish regular Prayer: for Prayer restrains from shameful and unjust deeds; and remembrance of Allah is the greatest (thing in life) without doubt. And Allah knows the (deeds) that ye do.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
109 তোমরা কিতাবধারীদের সাথে তর্ক-বিতর্ক করবে না, কিন্তু উত্তম পন্থায়; তবে তাদের সাথে নয়, যারা তাদের মধ্যে বে-ইনসাফ। এবং বল, আমাদের প্রতি ও তোমাদের প্রতি যা নাযিল করা হয়েছে, তাতে আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমাদের উপাস্য ও তোমাদের উপাস্য একই এবং আমরা তাঁরই আজ্ঞাবহ।
And dispute ye not with the People of the Book, except with means better (than mere disputation), unless it be with those of them who inflict wrong (and injury): but say, "We believe in the revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you; Our Allah and your Allah is one; and it is to Him we bow (in Islam)."		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
110 এভাবেই আমি আপনার প্রতি কিতাব অবর্তীণ করেছি। অতঃপর যাদের কে আমি কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম, তারা একে মেনে চলে এবং এদেরও (মক্কাবাসীদেরও) কেউ কেউ এতে বিশ্বাস রাখে। কেবল কাফেররাই আমার আয়াতসমূহ অস্বীকার করে।
And thus (it is) that We have sent down the Book to thee. So the People of the Book believe therein, as also do some of these (pagan Arabs): and none but Unbelievers reject our signs.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
111 আপনি তো এর পূর্বে কোন কিতাব পাঠ করেননি এবং স্বীয় দক্ষিণ হস্ত দ্বারা কোন কিতাব লিখেননি। এরূপ হলে মিথ্যাবাদীরা অবশ্যই সন্দেহ পোষণ করত।
And thou wast not (able) to recite a Book before this (Book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: In that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
112 এটাকি তাদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট নয় যে, আমি আপনার প্রতি কিতাব নাযিল করেছি, যা তাদের কাছে পাঠ করা হয়। এতে অবশ্যই বিশ্বাসী লোকদের জন্যে রহমত ও উপদেশ আছে।
And is it not enough for them that we have sent down to thee the Book which is rehearsed to them? Verily, in it is Mercy and a Reminder to those who believe.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
113 যাদের জ্ঞান ও ঈমান দেয়া হয়েছে, তারা বলবে আমরা আল্লাহর কিতাব মতে পুনরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত অবস্থান করেছি। এটাই পুনরুত্থান দিবস, কিন্তু তোমরা তা জানতে না।
But those endued with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed ye did tarry, within Allah's Decree, to the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection: but ye - ye were not aware!"		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৬)
114 এগুলো প্রজ্ঞাময় কিতাবের আয়াত।
These are Verses of the Wise Book,-		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২)
115 তোমরা কি দেখ না আল্লাহ নভোমন্ডল ও ভূ-মন্ডলে যাকিছু আছে, সবই তোমাদের কাজে নিয়োজিত করে দিয়েছেন এবং তোমাদের প্রতি তাঁর প্রকাশ্য ও অপ্রকাশ্য নেয়ামতসমূহ পরিপূর্ন করে দিয়েছেন? এমন লোক ও আছে; যারা জ্ঞান, পথনির্দেশ ও উজ্জল কিতাব ছাড়াই আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে বাকবিতন্ডা করে।
Do ye not see that Allah has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth, and has made his bounties flow to you in exceeding measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about Allah, without knowledge and without guidance, and without a Book to enlighten them!		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
116 এ কিতাবের অবতরণ বিশ্বপালনকর্তার নিকট থেকে এতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই।
(This is) the Revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt,- from the Lord of the Worlds.		 (সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২)
117 আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি, অতএব আপনি কোরআন প্রাপ্তির বিষয়ে কোন সন্দেহ করবেন না। আমি একে বনী ইসরাঈলের জন্যে পথ প্রদর্শক করেছিলাম।
We did indeed aforetime give the Book to Moses: be not then in doubt of its reaching (thee): and We made it a guide to the Children of Israel.		 (সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
118 কিতাবীদের মধ্যে যারা কাফেরদের পৃষ্টপোষকতা করেছিল, তাদেরকে তিনি তাদের দূর্গ থেকে নামিয়ে দিলেন এবং তাদের অন্তরে ভীতি নিক্ষেপ করলেন। ফলে তোমরা একদলকে হত্যা করছ এবং একদলকে বন্দী করছ।
And those of the People of the Book who aided them - Allah did take them down from their strongholds and cast terror into their hearts. (So that) some ye slew, and some ye made prisoners.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
119 কাফেররা বলে আমাদের উপর কেয়ামত আসবে না। বলুন কেন আসবে না? আমার পালনকর্তার শপথ-অবশ্যই আসবে। তিনি অদৃশ্য সম্পর্কে জ্ঞাত। নভোমন্ডলে ও ভূ-মন্ডলে তাঁর আগোচরে নয় অণু পরিমাণ কিছু, না তদপেক্ষা ক্ষুদ্র এবং না বৃহৎ-সমস্তই আছে সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবে।
The Unbelievers say, "Never to us will come the Hour": Say, "Nay! but most surely, by my Lord, it will come upon you;- by Him Who knows the unseen,- from Whom is not hidden the least little atom in the heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less than that, or greater, but is in the Record Perspicuous:		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
120 কাফেররা বলে, আমরা কখনও এ কোরআনে বিশ্বাস করব না এবং এর পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবেও নয়। আপনি যদি পাপিষ্ঠদেরকে দেখতেন, যখন তাদেরকে তাদের পালনকর্তার সামনে দাঁড় করানো হবে, , তখন তারা পরস্পর কথা কাটাকাটি করবে। যাদেরকে দুর্বল মনে করা হত, তারা অহংকারীদেরকে বলবে, তোমরা না থাকলে আমরা অবশ্যই মুমিন হতাম।
The Unbelievers say: "We shall neither believe in this scripture nor in (any) that (came) before it." Couldst thou but see when the wrong-doers will be made to stand before their Lord, throwing back the word (of blame) on one another! Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Had it not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!"		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
121 আমি তাদেরকে কোন কিতাব দেইনি, যা তারা অধ্যয়ন করবে এবং আপনার পূর্বে তাদের কাছে কোন সতর্ককারী প্রেরণ করিনি।
But We had not given them Books which they could study, nor sent messengers to them before thee as Warners.		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
122 আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মাটি থেকে, অতঃপর বীর্য থেকে, তারপর করেছেন তোমাদেরকে যুগল। কোন নারী গর্ভধারণ করে না এবং সন্তান প্রসব করে না; কিন্তু তাঁর জ্ঞাতসারে। কোন বয়স্ক ব্যক্তি বয়স পায় না। এবং তার বয়স হ্রাস পায় না; কিন্তু তা লিখিত আছে কিতাবে। নিশ্চয় এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে সহজ।
And Allah did create you from dust; then from a sperm-drop; then He made you in pairs. And no female conceives, or lays down (her load), but with His knowledge. Nor is a man long-lived granted length of days, nor is a part cut off from his life, but is in a Decree (ordained). All this is easy to Allah.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
123 তারা যদি আপনার প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে, তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যারোপ করেছিল। তাদের কাছে তাদের রসূলগণ স্পষ্ট নিদর্শন, সহীফা এবং উজ্জল কিতাবসহ এসেছিলেন।
And if they reject thee, so did their predecessors, to whom came their messengers with Clear Signs, Books of dark prophecies, and the Book of Enlightenment.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
124 যারা আল্লাহর কিতাব পাঠ করে, নামায কায়েম করে, এবং আমি যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে গোপনে ও প্রকাশ্যে ব্যয় করে, তারা এমন ব্যবসা আশা কর, যাতে কখনও লোকসান হবে না।
Those who rehearse the Book of Allah, establish regular Prayer, and spend (in Charity) out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, hope for a commerce that will never fail:		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
125 আমি আপনার প্রতি যে কিতাব প্রত্যাদেশ করেছি, তা সত্য-পূর্ববর্তী কিতাবের সত্যায়ন কারী নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদের ব্যাপারে সব জানেন, দেখেন।
That which We have revealed to thee of the Book is the Truth,- confirming what was (revealed) before it: for Allah is assuredly- with respect to His Servants - well acquainted and Fully Observant.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
126 অতঃপর আমি কিতাবের অধিকারী করেছি তাদেরকে যাদেরকে আমি আমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে মনোনীত করেছি। তাদের কেউ কেউ নিজের প্রতি অত্যাচারী, কেউ মধ্যপন্থা অবলম্বনকারী এবং তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ আল্লাহর নির্দেশক্রমে কল্যাণের পথে এগিয়ে গেছে। এটাই মহা অনুগ্রহ।
Then We have given the Book for inheritance to such of Our Servants as We have chosen: but there are among them some who wrong their own souls; some who follow a middle course; and some who are, by Allah's leave, foremost in good deeds; that is the highest Grace.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
127 বলুন, তোমরা কি তোমাদের সে শরীকদের কথা ভেবে দেখেছ, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা ডাক? তারা পৃথিবীতে কিছু সৃষ্টি করে থাকলে আমাকে দেখাও। না আসমান সৃষ্টিতে তাদের কোন অংশ আছে, না আমি তাদেরকে কোন কিতাব দিয়েছি যে, তারা তার দলীলের উপর কায়েম রয়েছে, বরং জালেমরা একে অপরকে কেবল প্রতারণামূলক ওয়াদা দিয়ে থাকে।
Say: "Have ye seen (these) 'Partners' of yours whom ye call upon besides Allah? Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- Nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
128 আমিই মৃতদেরকে জীবিত করি এবং তাদের কর্ম ও কীর্তিসমূহ লিপিবদ্ধ করি। আমি প্রত্যেক বস্তু স্পষ্ট কিতাবে সংরক্ষিত রেখেছি।
Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence).		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
129 আমি উভয়কে দিয়েছিলাম সুস্পষ্ট কিতাব।
And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear;		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১১৭)
130 তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে তোমাদের কিতাব আন।
Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful!		 (আস-সাফফাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
131 এটি একটি বরকতময় কিতাব, যা আমি আপনার প্রতি বরকত হিসেবে অবতীর্ণ করেছি, যাতে মানুষ এর আয়াতসূহ লক্ষ্য করে এবং বুদ্ধিমানগণ যেন তা অনুধাবন করে।
(Here is) a Book which We have sent down unto thee, full of blessings, that they may mediate on its Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition.		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
132 কিতাব অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময় আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে।
The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ১)
133 আমি আপনার প্রতি এ কিতাব যথার্থরূপে নাযিল করেছি। অতএব, আপনি নিষ্ঠার সাথে আল্লাহর এবাদত করুন।
Verily it is We Who have revealed the Book to thee in Truth: so serve Allah, offering Him sincere devotion.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২)
134 আল্লাহ উত্তম বাণী তথা কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন, যা সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ, পূনঃ পূনঃ পঠিত। এতে তাদের লোম কাঁটা দিয়ে উঠে চামড়ার উপর, যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করে, এরপর তাদের চামড়া ও অন্তর আল্লাহর স্মরণে বিনম্র হয়। এটাই আল্লাহর পথ নির্দেশ, এর মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ প্রদর্শন করেন। আর আল্লাহ যাকে গোমরাহ করেন, তার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নেই।
Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
135 আমি আপনার প্রতি সত্য ধর্মসহ কিতাব নাযিল করেছি মানুষের কল্যাণকল্পে। অতঃপর যে সৎপথে আসে, সে নিজের কল্যাণের জন্যেই আসে, আর যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়, সে নিজেরই অনিষ্টের জন্যে পথভ্রষ্ট হয়। আপনি তাদের জন্যে দায়ী নন।
Verily We have revealed the Book to thee in Truth, for (instructing) mankind. He, then, that receives guidance benefits his own soul: but he that strays injures his own soul. Nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৪১)
136 কিতাব অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে, যিনি পরাক্রমশালী, সর্বজ্ঞ।
The revelation of this Book is from Allah, Exalted in Power, Full of Knowledge,-		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ২)
137 নিশ্চয় আমি মূসাকে হেদায়েত দান করেছিলাম এবং বনী ইসরাঈলকে কিতাবের উত্তরাধিকারী করেছিলাম।
We did aforetime give Moses the (Book of) Guidance, and We gave the book in inheritance to the Children of Israel,-		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
138 যারা কিতাবের প্রতি এবং যে বিষয় দিয়ে আমি পয়গম্বরগণকে প্রেরণ করেছি, সে বিষয়ের প্রতি মিথ্যারোপ করে। অতএব, সত্বরই তারা জানতে পারবে।
Those who reject the Book and the (revelations) with which We sent our messengers: but soon shall they know,-		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
139 এটা কিতাব, এর আয়াতসমূহ বিশদভাবে বিবৃত আরবী কোরআনরূপে জ্ঞানী লোকদের জন্য।
A Book, whereof the verses are explained in detail;- a Qur'an in Arabic, for people who understand;-		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
140 আমি যদি একে অনারব ভাষায় কোরআন করতাম, তবে অবশ্যই তারা বলত, এর আয়াতসমূহ পরিস্কার ভাষায় বিবৃত হয়নি কেন? কি আশ্চর্য যে, কিতাব অনারব ভাষায় আর রসূল আরবী ভাষী! বলুন, এটা বিশ্বাসীদের জন্য হেদায়েত ও রোগের প্রতিকার। যারা মুমিন নয়, তাদের কানে আছে ছিপি, আর কোরআন তাদের জন্যে অন্ধত্ব। তাদেরকে যেন দূরবর্তী স্থান থেকে আহবান করা হয়।
Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!"		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
141 আমি মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছিলাম, অতঃপর তাতে মতভেদ সৃষ্টি হয়। আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে পূর্ব সিদ্ধান্ত না থাকলে তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত। তারা কোরআন সমন্ধে এক অস্বস্তিকর সন্দেহে লিপ্ত।
We certainly gave Moses the Book aforetime: but disputes arose therein. Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord, (their differences) would have been settled between them: but they remained in suspicious disquieting doubt thereon.		 (হা-মীম সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
142 তাদের কাছে জ্ঞান আসার পরই তারা পারস্পরিক বিভেদের কারণে মতভেদ করেছে। যদি আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত অবকাশের পূর্ব সিদ্ধান্ত না থাকত, তবে তাদের ফয়সালা হয়ে যেত। তাদের পর যারা কিতাব প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, তারা অস্বস্তিকর সন্দেহে পতিত রয়েছে।
And they became divided only after Knowledge reached them,- through selfish envy as between themselves. Had it not been for a Word that went forth before from thy Lord, (tending) to a Term appointed, the matter would have been settled between them: But truly those who have inherited the Book after them are in suspicious (disquieting) doubt concerning it.		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
143 সুতরাং আপনি এর প্রতিই দাওয়াত দিন এবং হুকুম অনুযায়ী অবিচল থাকুন; আপনি তাদের খেয়ালখুশীর অনুসরণ করবেন না। বলুন, আল্লাহ যে কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন, আমি তাতে বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। আমি তোমাদের মধ্যে ন্যায় বিচার করতে আদিষ্ট হয়েছি। আল্লাহ আমাদের পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তা। আমাদের জন্যে আমাদের কর্ম এবং তোমাদের জন্যে তোমাদের কর্ম। আমাদের মধ্যে ও তোমাদের মধ্যে বিবাদ নেই। আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে সমবেত করবেন এবং তাঁরই দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তণ হবে।
Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and stand steadfast as thou art commanded, nor follow thou their vain desires; but say: "I believe in the Book which Allah has sent down; and I am commanded to judge justly between you. Allah is our Lord and your Lord: for us (is the responsibility for) our deeds, and for you for your deeds. There is no contention between us and you. Allah will bring us together, and to Him is (our) Final Goal.		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
144 আল্লাহই সত্যসহ কিতাব ও ইনসাফের মানদন্ড নাযিল করেছেন। আপনি কি জানেন, সম্ভবতঃ কেয়ামত নিকটবর্তী।
It is Allah Who has sent down the Book in Truth, and the Balance (by which to weigh conduct). And what will make thee realise that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
145 এমনিভাবে আমি আপনার কাছে এক ফেরেশতা প্রেরণ করেছি আমার আদেশক্রমে। আপনি জানতেন না, কিতাব কি এবং ঈমান কি? কিন্তু আমি একে করেছি নূর, যাদ্দ্বারা আমি আমার বান্দাদের মধ্য থেকে যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ প্রদর্শন করি। নিশ্চয় আপনি সরল পথ প্রদর্শন করেন-
And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not (before) what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur'an) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way,-		 (আশ-শুরা:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
146 শপথ সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের,
By the Book that makes things clear,-		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ২)
147 আমি কি তাদেরকে কোরআনের পূর্বে কোন কিতাব দিয়েছি, অতঃপর তারা তাকে আঁকড়ে রেখেছে?
What! have We given them a Book before this, to which they are holding fast?		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
148 শপথ সুস্পষ্ট কিতাবের।
By the Book that makes things clear;-		 (আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ২)
149 পরাক্রান্ত, প্রজ্ঞাময় আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ এ কিতাব।
The revelation of the Book is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.		 (আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ২)
150 আমি বনী ইসরাঈলকে কিতাব, রাজত্ব ও নবুওয়ত দান করেছিলাম এবং তাদেরকে পরিচ্ছন্ন রিযিক দিয়েছিলাম এবং বিশ্ববাসীর উপর শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব দিয়েছিলাম।
We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations.		 (আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
151 এই কিতাব পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময় আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে অবতীর্ণ।
The Revelation of the Book is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২)
152 বলুন, তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদের পূজা কর, তাদের বিষয়ে ভেবে দেখেছ কি? দেখাও আমাকে তারা পৃথিবীতে কি সৃষ্টি করেছে? অথবা নভোমন্ডল সৃজনে তাদের কি কোন অংশ আছে? এর পূর্ববর্তী কোন কিতাব অথবা পরস্পরাগত কোন জ্ঞান আমার কাছে উপস্থিত কর, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও।
Say: "Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides Allah? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens bring me a book (revealed) before this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth!		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
153 এর আগে মূসার কিতাব ছিল পথপ্রদর্শক ও রহমতস্বরূপ। আর এই কিতাব তার সমর্থক আরবী ভাষায়, যাতে যালেমদেরকে সতর্ক করে এবং সৎকর্মপরায়ণদেরকে সুসংবাদ দেয়।
And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
154 তারা বলল, হে আমাদের সম্প্রদায়, আমরা এমন এক কিতাব শুনেছি, যা মূসার পর অবর্তীণ হয়েছে। এ কিতাব পূর্ববর্তী সব কিতাবের প্রত্যায়ন করে, সত্যধর্ম ও সরলপথের দিকে পরিচালিত করে।
They said, "O our people! We have heard a Book revealed after Moses, confirming what came before it: it guides (men) to the Truth and to a Straight Path.		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
155 এটা এজন্য যে, তারা তাদেরকে বলে, যারা আল্লাহর অবতীর্ণ কিতাব অপছন্দ করেঃ আমরা কোন কোন ব্যাপারে তোমাদের কথা মান্য করব। আল্লাহ তাদের গোপন পরামর্শ অবগত আছেন।
This, because they said to those who hate what Allah has revealed, "We will obey you in part of (this) matter"; but Allah knows their (inner) secrets.		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
156 মৃত্তিকা তাদের কতটুকু গ্রাস করবে, তা আমার জানা আছে এবং আমার কাছে আছে সংরক্ষিত কিতাব।
We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account).		 (ক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
157 এবং লিখিত কিতাবের,
By a Decree inscribed		 (আত্ব তূর:
আয়াতঃ ২)
158 তাকে কি জানানো হয়নি যা আছে মূসার কিতাবে,
Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses-		 (আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
159 এবং ইব্রাহীমের কিতাবে, যে তার দায়িত্ব পালন করেছিল?
And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?-		 (আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
160 কিতাবে এই আছে যে, কোন ব্যক্তি কারও গোনাহ নিজে বহন করবে না।
Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another;		 (আন-নাজম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
161 তোমাদের মধ্যকার কাফেররা কি তাদের চাইতে শ্রেষ্ঠ ? না তোমাদের মুক্তির সনদপত্র রয়েছে কিতাবসমূহে?
Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books?		 (আল ক্বামার:
আয়াতঃ ৪৩)
162 যা আছে এক গোপন কিতাবে,
In Book well-guarded,		 (আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৭৮)
163 যদি তোমাদের হিসাব-কিতাব না হওয়াই ঠিক হয়,
Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-		 (আল ওয়াক্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
164 যারা মুমিন, তাদের জন্যে কি আল্লাহর স্মরণে এবং যে সত্য অবর্তীর্ণ হয়েছে, তার কারণে হৃদয় বিগলিত হওয়ার সময় আসেনি? তারা তাদের মত যেন না হয়, যাদেরকে পূর্বে কিতাব দেয়া হয়েছিল। তাদের উপর সুদীর্ঘকাল অতিক্রান্ত হয়েছে, অতঃপর তাদের অন্তঃকরণ কঠিন হয়ে গেছে। তাদের অধিকাংশই পাপাচারী।
Has not the Time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
165 পৃথিবীতে এবং ব্যক্তিগতভাবে তোমাদের উপর কোন বিপদ আসে না; কিন্তু তা জগত সৃষ্টির পূর্বেই কিতাবে লিপিবদ্ধ আছে। নিশ্চয় এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে সহজ।
No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before We bring it into existence: That is truly easy for Allah:		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
166 আমি আমার রসূলগণকে সুস্পষ্ট নিদর্শনসহ প্রেরণ করেছি এবং তাঁদের সাথে অবতীর্ণ করেছি কিতাব ও ন্যায়নীতি, যাতে মানুষ ইনসাফ প্রতিষ্ঠা করে। আর আমি নাযিল করেছি লৌহ, যাতে আছে প্রচন্ড রণশক্তি এবং মানুষের বহুবিধ উপকার। এটা এজন্যে যে, আল্লাহ জেনে নিবেন কে না দেখে তাঁকে ও তাঁর রসূলগণকে সাহায্য করে। আল্লাহ শক্তিধর, পরাক্রমশালী।
We sent aforetime our messengers with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is (material for) mighty war, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, Unseen, Him and His messengers: For Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might (and able to enforce His Will).		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
167 আমি নূহ ও ইব্রাহীমকে রসূলরূপে প্রেরণ করেছি এবং তাদের বংশধরের মধ্যে নবুওয়ত ও কিতাব অব্যাহত রেখেছি। অতঃপর তাদের কতক সৎপথপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছে এবং অধিকাংশই হয়েছে পাপাচারী।
And We sent Noah and Abraham, and established in their line Prophethood and Revelation: and some of them were on right guidance. But many of them became rebellious transgressors.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
168 যাতে কিতাবধারীরা জানে যে, আল্লাহর সামান্য অনুগ্রহের উপর ও তাদের কোন ক্ষমতা নেই, দয়া আল্লাহরই হাতে; তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা, তা দান করেন। আল্লাহ মহা অনুগ্রহশীল।
That the People of the Book may know that they have no power whatever over the Grace of Allah, that (His) Grace is (entirely) in His Hand, to bestow it on whomsoever He wills. For Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
169 তিনিই কিতাবধারীদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তাদেরকে প্রথমবার একত্রিত করে তাদের বাড়ী-ঘর থেকে বহিস্কার করেছেন। তোমরা ধারণাও করতে পারনি যে, তারা বের হবে এবং তারা মনে করেছিল যে, তাদের দূর্গগুলো তাদেরকে আল্লাহর কবল থেকে রক্ষা করবে। অতঃপর আল্লাহর শাস্তি তাদের উপর এমনদিক থেকে আসল, যার কল্পনাও তারা করেনি। আল্লাহ তাদের অন্তরে ত্রাস সঞ্চার করে দিলেন। তারা তাদের বাড়ী-ঘর নিজেদের হাতে এবং মুসলমানদের হাতে ধ্বংস করছিল। অতএব, হে চক্ষুষ্মান ব্যক্তিগণ, তোমরা শিক্ষা গ্রহণ কর।
It is He Who got out the Unbelievers among the People of the Book from their homes at the first gathering (of the forces). Little did ye think that they would get out: And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But the (Wrath of) Allah came to them from quarters from which they little expected (it), and cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their dwellings by their own hands and the hands of the Believers, take warning, then, O ye with eyes (to see)!		 (আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ২)
170 আপনি কি মুনাফিকদেরকে দেখেন নি? তারা তাদের কিতাবধারী কাফের ভাইদেরকে বলেঃ তোমরা যদি বহিস্কৃত হও, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদের সাথে দেশ থেকে বের হয়ে যাব এবং তোমাদের ব্যাপারে আমরা কখনও কারও কথা মানব না। আর যদি তোমরা আক্রান্ত হও, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে সাহায্য করব। আল্লাহ তা’আলা সাক্ষ্য দেন যে, ওরা নিশ্চয়ই মিথ্যাবাদী।
Hast thou not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving brethren among the People of the Book? - "If ye are expelled, we too will go out with you, and we will never hearken to any one in your affair; and if ye are attacked (in fight) we will help you". But Allah is witness that they are indeed liars.		 (আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
171 তিনিই নিরক্ষরদের মধ্য থেকে একজন রসূল প্রেরণ করেছেন, যিনি তাদের কাছে পাঠ করেন তার আয়াতসমূহ, তাদেরকে পবিত্র করেন এবং শিক্ষা দেন কিতাব ও হিকমত। ইতিপূর্বে তারা ছিল ঘোর পথভ্রষ্টতায় লিপ্ত।
It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error;-		 (আল জুমুআহ:

172 আর দৃষ্টান্ত বর্ণনা করেছেন এমরান-তনয়া মরিয়মের, যে তার সতীত্ব বজায় রেখেছিল। অতঃপর আমি তার মধ্যে আমার পক্ষ থেকে জীবন ফুঁকে দিয়েছিলাম এবং সে তার পালনকর্তার বানী ও কিতাবকে সত্যে পরিণত করেছিল। সে ছিল বিনয় প্রকাশকারীনীদের একজন।
And Mary the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity; and We breathed into (her body) of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of the words of her Lord and of His Revelations, and was one of the devout (servants).		 (আত-তাহরীম:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
173 তোমাদের কি কোন কিতাব আছে, যা তোমরা পাঠ কর।
Or have ye a book through which ye learn-		 (আল কলম:
আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
174 আমি জাহান্নামের তত্ত্বাবধায়ক ফেরেশতাই রেখেছি। আমি কাফেরদেরকে পরীক্ষা করার জন্যেই তার এই সংখ্যা করেছি-যাতে কিতাবীরা দৃঢ়বিশ্বাসী হয়, মুমিনদের ঈমান বৃদ্ধি পায় এবং কিতাবীরা ও মুমিনগণ সন্দেহ পোষণ না করে এবং যাতে যাদের অন্তরে রোগ আছে, তারা এবং কাফেররা বলে যে, আল্লাহ এর দ্বারা কি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন। এমনিভাবে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথভ্রষ্ট করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছা সৎপথে চালান। আপনার পালনকর্তার বাহিনী সম্পর্কে একমাত্র তিনিই জানেন এটা তো মানুষের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।
And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers,- in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith,- and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind.		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
175 এটা লিখিত রয়েছে পূর্ববতী কিতাবসমূহে;
And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),-		 (আল আ'লা:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
176 ইব্রাহীম ও মূসার কিতাবসমূহে।
The Books of Abraham and Moses.		 (আল আ'লা:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
177 আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরেকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের ছিল, তারা প্রত্যাবর্তন করত না যতক্ষণ না তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ আসত।
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, were not going to depart (from their ways) until there should come to them Clear Evidence,-		 (বাইয়্যিনাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১)
178 অপর কিতাব প্রাপ্তরা যে বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছে, তা হয়েছে তাদের কাছে সুস্পষ্ট প্রমাণ আসার পরেই।
Nor did the People of the Book make schisms, until after there came to them Clear Evidence.		 (বাইয়্যিনাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
179 আহলে-কিতাব ও মুশরেকদের মধ্যে যারা কাফের, তারা জাহান্নামের আগুনে স্থায়ীভাবে থাকবে। তারাই সৃষ্টির অধম।
Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures.		 (বাইয়্যিনাহ:
