নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	পক্ষান্তরে তোমাদের প্রতি আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে কোন অনুগ্রহ আসলে তারা এমন ভাবে বলতে শুরু করবে যেন তোমাদের মধ্যে এবং তাদের মধ্যে কোন মিত্রতাই ছিল না। (বলবে) হায়, আমি যদি তাদের সাথে থাকতাম, তাহলে আমি ও যে সফলতা লাভ করতাম। But if good fortune comes to you from Allah, they would be sure to say - as if there had never been Ties of affection between you and them - "Oh! I wish I had been with them; a fine thing should I then have made of it!"	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৭৩)
2	আর যদি আহলে-কিতাবরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করত এবং খোদাভীতি অবলম্বন করত, তবে আমি তাদের মন্দ বিষয়সমূহ ক্ষমা করে দিতাম এবং তাদেরকে নেয়ামতের উদ্যানসমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করতাম। If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
3	যদি আমি কাগজে লিখিত কোন বিষয় তাদের প্রতি নাযিল করতাম, অতঃপর তারা তা সহস্তে স্পর্শ করত, তবুও অবিশ্বাসীরা একথাই বলত যে, এটা প্রকাশ্য জাদু বৈ কিছু নয়। If We had sent unto thee a written (message) on parchment, so that they could touch it with their hands, the Unbelievers would have been sure to say: "This is nothing but obvious magic!"	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ৭)
4	তারা আরও বলে যে, তাঁর কাছে কোন ফেরেশতা কেন প্রেরণ করা হল না ? যদি আমি কোন ফেরেশতা প্রেরণ করতাম, তবে গোটা ব্যাপারটাই শেষ হয়ে যেত। অতঃপর তাদেরকে সামান্যও অবকাশ দেওয়া হতনা। They say: "Why is not an angel sent down to him?" If we did send down an angel, the matter would be settled at once, and no respite would be granted them.	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ৮)
5	আর আপনি যদি দেখেন, যখন তাদেরকে দোযখের উপর দাঁড় করানো হবে! তারা বলবেঃ কতই না ভাল হত, যদি আমরা পুনঃ প্রেরিত হতাম; তা হলে আমরা স্বীয় পালনকর্তার নিদর্শনসমূহে মিথ্যারোপ করতাম না এবং আমরা বিশ্বাসীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে যেতাম। If thou couldst but see when they are confronted with the Fire! They will say: "Would that we were but sent back! Then would we not reject the signs of our Lord, but would be amongst those who believe!"	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ২৭)
6	আমি যদি তাদের কাছে ফেরেশতাদেরকে অবতারণ করতাম এবং তাদের সাথে মৃতরা কথাবার্তা বলত এবং আমি সব বস্তুকে তাদের সামনে জীবিত করে দিতাম, তথাপি তারা কখনও বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারী নয়; কিন্তু যদি আল্লাহ চান। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই মুর্খ। Even if We did send unto them angels, and the dead did speak unto them, and We gathered together all things before their very eyes, they are not the ones to believe, unless it is in Allah's plan. But most of them ignore (the truth).	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ১১১)
7	এখন মুশরেকরা বলবেঃ যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করতেন, তবে না আমরা শিরক করতাম, না আমাদের বাপ দাদারা এবং না আমরা কোন বস্তুকে হারাম করতাম। এমনিভাবে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা মিথ্যারোপ করেছে, এমন কি তারা আমার শাস্তি আস্বাদন করেছে। আপনি বলুনঃ তোমাদের কাছে কি কোন প্রমাণ আছে যা আমাদেরকে দেখাতে পার। তোমরা শুধুমাত্র আন্দাজের অনুসরণ কর এবং তোমরা শুধু অনুমান করে কথা বল। Those who give partners (to Allah) will say: "If Allah had wished, we should not have given partners to Him nor would our fathers; nor should we have had any taboos." So did their ancestors argue falsely, until they tasted of Our wrath. Say: "Have ye any (certain) knowledge? If so, produce it before us. Ye follow nothing but conjecture: ye do nothing but lie."	(আল আনআম: আয়াতঃ ১৪৮)
8	তারা কি এখন এ অপেক্ষায়ই আছে যে, এর বিষয়বস্তু প্রকাশিত হোক? যেদিন এর বিষয়বস্তু প্রকাশিত হবে, সেদিন পূর্বে যারা একে ভূলে গিয়েছিল, তারা বলবেঃ বাস্তবিকই আমাদের প্রতিপালকের পয়গম্বরগণ সত্যসহ আগমন করেছিলেন। অতএব, আমাদের জন্যে কোন সুপারিশকারী আছে কি যে, সুপারিশ করবে অথবা আমাদেরকে পুনঃ প্রেরণ করা হলে আমরা পূর্বে যা করতাম তার বিপরীত কাজ করে আসতাম। নিশ্চয় তারা নিজেদেরকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করেছে। তারা মনগড়া যা বলত, তা উধাও হয়ে যাবে। Do they just wait for the final fulfilment of the event? On the day the event is finally fulfilled, those who disregarded it before will say: "The messengers of our Lord did indeed bring true (tidings). Have we no intercessors now to intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back? then should we behave differently from our behaviour in the past." In fact they will have lost their souls, and the things they invented will leave them in the lurch.	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ৫৩)
9	তাদের নিকট কি একথা প্রকাশিত হয়নি, যারা উত্তারাধিকার লাভ করেছে। সেখানকার লোকদের ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবার পর যদি আমি ইচ্ছা করতাম, , তবে তাদেরকে তাদের পাপের দরুন পাকড়াও করে ফেলতাম। বস্তুতঃ আমি মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছি তাদের অন্তরসমূহের উপর। কাজেই এরা শুনতে পায় না। To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear?	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১০০)
10	তারা বলল-হে শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) আপনি যা বলেছেন তার অনেক কথাই আমরা বুঝি নাই, আমারা তো আপনাকে আমাদের মধ্যে দূর্বল ব্যক্তি রূপে মনে করি। আপনার ভাই বন্ধুরা না থাকলে আমরা আপনাকে প্রস্তরাঘাতে হত্যা করতাম। আমাদের দৃষ্টিতে আপনি কোন মর্যাদাবান ব্যক্তি নন। They said: "O Shu'aib! much of what thou sayest we do not understand! In fact among us we see that thou hast no strength! Were it not for thy family, we should certainly have stoned thee! for thou hast among us no great position!"	(হুদ: আয়াতঃ ৯১)
11	আপনার পূর্বে আমি যতজনকে রসূল করে পাঠিয়েছি, তারা সবাই পুরুষই ছিল জনপদবাসীদের মধ্য থেকে। আমি তাঁদের কাছে ওহী প্রেরণ করতাম। তারা কি দেশ-বিদেশ ভ্রমণ করে না, যাতে দেখে নিত কিরূপ পরিণতি হয়েছে তাদের যারা পূর্বে ছিল ? সংযমকারীদের জন্যে পরকালের আবাসই উত্তম। তারা কি এখনও বোঝে না? Nor did We send before thee (as messengers) any but men, whom we did inspire,- (men) living in human habitations. Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the end of those before them? But the home of the hereafter is best, for those who do right. Will ye not then understand?	(ইউসূফ: আয়াতঃ ১০৯)
12	ফেরেশতারা তাদের জান এমতাঅবস্থায় কবজ করে যে, তারা নিজেদের উপর যুলুম করেছে। তখন তারা অনুগত্য প্রকাশ করবে যে, আমরা তো কোন মন্দ কাজ করতাম না। হঁ্যা নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সববিষয় অবগত আছেন, যা তোমরা করতে। "(Namely) those whose lives the angels take in a state of wrong-doing to their own souls." Then would they offer submission (with the pretence), "We did no evil (knowingly)." (The angels will reply), "Nay, but verily Allah knoweth all that ye did;	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ২৮)
13	মুশরিকরা বললঃ যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে আমরা তাঁকে ছাড়া কারও এবাদত করতাম না এবং আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষেরাও করত না এবং তাঁর নির্দেশ ছাড়া কোন বস্তুই আমরা হারাম করতাম না। তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা এমনই করেছে। রাসূলের দায়িত্ব তো শুধুমাত্র সুস্পষ্ট বাণী পৌছিয়ে দেয়া। The worshippers of false gods say: "If Allah had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him - neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His." So did those who went before them. But what is the mission of messengers but to preach the Clear Message?	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
14	বলুনঃ যদি পৃথিবীতে ফেরেশতারা স্বচ্ছন্দে বিচরণ করত, তবে আমি আকাশ থেকে কোন ফেরেশতাকেই তাদের নিকট পয়গাম্বর করে প্রেরণ করতাম। Say, "If there were settled, on earth, angels walking about in peace and quiet, We should certainly have sent them down from the heavens an angel for a messenger."	(বনী ইসরাঈল: আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
15	অতঃপর তার সব ফল ধ্বংস হয়ে গেল এবং সে তাতে যা ব্যয় করেছিল, তার জন্য সকালে হাত কচলিয়ে আক্ষেপ করতে লাগল। বাগনটি কাঠসহ পুড়ে গিয়েছিল। সে বলতে লাগলঃ হায়, আমি যদি কাউকে আমার পালনকর্তার সাথে শরীক না করতাম। So his fruits (and enjoyment) were encompassed (with ruin), and he remained twisting and turning his hands over what he had spent on his property, which had (now) tumbled to pieces to its very foundations, and he could only say, "Woe is me! Would I had never ascribed partners to my Lord and Cherisher!"	(কাহফ: আয়াতঃ ৪২)
16	যদি আমি এদেরকে ইতিপূর্বে কোন শাস্তি দ্বারা ধ্বংস করতাম, তবে এরা বলতঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আপনি আমাদের কাছে একজন রসূল প্রেরণ করলেন না কেন? তাহলে তো আমরা অপমানিত ও হেয় হওয়ার পূর্বেই আপনার নিদর্শন সমূহ মেনে চলতাম। And if We had inflicted on them a penalty before this, they would have said: "Our Lord! If only Thou hadst sent us a messenger, we should certainly have followed Thy Signs before we were humbled and put to shame."	(ত্বোয়া-হা: আয়াতঃ ১৩৪)
17	আমি যদি ক্রীড়া উপকরণ সৃষ্টি করতে চাইতাম, তবে আমি আমার কাছে যা আছে তা দ্বারাই তা করতাম, যদি আমাকে করতে হত। If it had been Our wish to take (just) a pastime, We should surely have taken it from the things nearest to Us, if We would do (such a thing)!	(আম্বিয়া: আয়াতঃ ১৭)
18	জালেম সেদিন আপন হস্তদ্বয় দংশন করতে করতে বলবে, হায় আফসোস! আমি যদি রসূলের সাথে পথ অবলম্বন করতাম। The Day that the wrong-doer will bite at his hands, he will say, "Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path with the Messenger!	(আল-ফুরকান: আয়াতঃ ২৭)
19	হায় আমার দূর্ভাগ্য, আমি যদি অমুককে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ না করতাম। "Ah! woe is me! Would that I had never taken such a one for a friend!	(আল-ফুরকান: আয়াতঃ ২৮)
20	যখন আমরা তোমাদেরকে বিশ্ব-পালনকর্তার সমতুল্য গন্য করতাম। "'When we held you as equals with the Lord of the Worlds;	(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ৯৮)
21	যদি আমি একে কোন ভিন্নভাষীর প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করতাম, Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs,	(আশ-শো'আরা: আয়াতঃ ১৯৮)
22	আর এ জন্য যে, তাদের কৃতকর্মের জন্যে তাদের কোন বিপদ হলে তারা বলত, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, তুমি আমাদের কাছে কোন রসূল প্রেরণ করলে না কেন? করলে আমরা তোমার আয়াতসমূহের অনুসরণ করতাম এবং আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপনকারী হয়ে যেতাম। If (We had) not (sent thee to the Quraish),- in case a calamity should seize them for (the deeds) that their hands have sent forth, they might say: "Our Lord! why didst Thou not sent us a messenger? We should then have followed Thy Signs and been amongst those who believe!"	(আল কাসাস: আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
23	যেদিন অগ্নিতে তাদের মুখমন্ডল ওলট পালট করা হবে; সেদিন তারা বলবে, হায়। আমরা যদি আল্লাহর আনুগত্য করতাম ও রসূলের আনুগত্য করতাম। The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!"	(আল আহযাব: আয়াতঃ ৬৬)
24	সেখানে তারা আর্ত চিৎকার করে বলবে, হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, বের করুন আমাদেরকে, আমরা সৎকাজ করব, পূর্বে যা করতাম, তা করব না। (আল্লাহ বলবেন) আমি কি তোমাদেরকে এতটা বয়স দেইনি, যাতে যা চিন্তা করার বিষয় চিন্তা করতে পারতে? উপরন্তু তোমাদের কাছে সতর্ককারীও আগমন করেছিল। অতএব আস্বাদন কর। জালেমদের জন্যে কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই। Therein will they cry aloud (for assistance): "Our Lord! Bring us out: we shall work righteousness, not the (deeds) we used to do!" - "Did We not give you long enough life so that he that would should receive admonition? and (moreover) the warner came to you. So taste ye (the fruits of your deeds): for the wrong-doers there is no helper."	(ফাতির: আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
25	তারা আরও বলবে, আমাদের কি হল যে, আমরা যাদেরকে মন্দ লোক বলে গণ্য করতাম, তাদেরকে এখানে দেখছি না। And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones?	(ছোয়াদ: আয়াতঃ ৬২)
26	আল্লাহ ব্যতীত? তারা বলবে, তারা আমাদের কাছ থেকে উধাও হয়ে গেছে; বরং আমরা তো ইতিপূর্বে কোন কিছুর পূজাই করতাম না। এমনি ভাবে আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে বিভ্রান্ত করেন। "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray.	(আল-মু'মিন: আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
27	তারা যখন আমার শাস্তি প্রত্যক্ষ করল, তখন বলল, আমরা এক আল্লাহর প্রতি বিশ্বাস করলাম এবং যাদেরকে শরীক করতাম, তাদেরকে পরিহার করলাম। But when they saw Our Punishment, they said: "We believe in Allah,- the one Allah - and we reject the partners we used to join with Him."	(আল-মু'মিন: আয়াতঃ ৮৪)
28	আমি যদি একে অনারব ভাষায় কোরআন করতাম, তবে অবশ্যই তারা বলত, এর আয়াতসমূহ পরিস্কার ভাষায় বিবৃত হয়নি কেন? কি আশ্চর্য যে, কিতাব অনারব ভাষায় আর রসূল আরবী ভাষী! বলুন, এটা বিশ্বাসীদের জন্য হেদায়েত ও রোগের প্রতিকার। যারা মুমিন নয়, তাদের কানে আছে ছিপি, আর কোরআন তাদের জন্যে অন্ধত্ব। তাদেরকে যেন দূরবর্তী স্থান থেকে আহবান করা হয়। Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!"	(হা-মীম সেজদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
29	তারা বলে, রহমান আল্লাহ ইচছা না করলে আমরা ওদের পূজা করতাম না। এ বিষয়ে তারা কিছুই জানে না। তারা কেবল অনুমানে কথা বলে। ("Ah!") they say, "If it had been the will of (Allah) Most Gracious, we should not have worshipped such (deities)!" Of that they have no knowledge! they do nothing but lie!	(যুখরুফ: আয়াতঃ ২০)
30	আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তোমাদের থেকে ফেরেশতা সৃষ্টি করতাম, যারা পৃথিবীতে একের পর এক বসবাস করত। And if it were Our Will, We could make angels from amongst you, succeeding each other on the earth.	(যুখরুফ: আয়াতঃ ৬০)
31	আমার কাছে রক্ষিত এই আমলনামা তোমাদের সম্পর্কে সত্য কথা বলবে। তোমরা যা করতে আমি তা লিপিবদ্ধ করতাম। "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did."	(আল জাসিয়া: আয়াতঃ ২৯)
32	যদি আমি এই কোরআন পাহাড়ের উপর অবতীর্ণ করতাম, তবে তুমি দেখতে যে, পাহাড় বিনীত হয়ে আল্লাহ তা’আলার ভয়ে বিদীর্ণ হয়ে গেছে। আমি এসব দৃষ্টান্ত মানুষের জন্যে বর্ণনা করি, যাতে তারা চিন্তা-ভাবনা করে। Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect.	(আল হাশর: আয়াতঃ ২১)
33	আমি তোমাদেরকে যা দিয়েছি, তা থেকে মৃত্যু আসার আগেই ব্যয় কর। অন্যথায় সে বলবেঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে আরও কিছুকাল অবকাশ দিলে না কেন? তাহলে আমি সদকা করতাম এবং সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হতাম। and spend something (in charity) out of the substance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good".	(মুনাফিকুন: আয়াতঃ ১০)
34	অথচ আমরা মনে করতাম, মানুষ ও জিন কখনও আল্লাহ তা’আলা সম্পর্কে মিথ্যা বলতে পারে না। 'But we do think that no man or spirit should say aught that untrue against Allah.	(আল জিন: আয়াতঃ ৫)
35	আর এই প্রত্যাদেশ করা হয়েছে যে, তারা যদি সত্যপথে কায়েম থাকত, তবে আমি তাদেরকে প্রচুর পানি বর্ষণে সিক্ত করতাম। (And Allah's Message is): "If they (the Pagans) had (only) remained on the (right) Way, We should certainly have bestowed on them Rain in abundance.	(আল জিন: আয়াতঃ ১৬)
36	আমরা সমালোচকদের সাথে সমালোচনা করতাম। "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers;	(আল মুদ্দাসসির: আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
37	এবং আমরা প্রতিফল দিবসকে অস্বীকার করতাম। "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment,	(আল মুদ্দাসসির: আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
38	সে বলবেঃ হায়, এ জীবনের জন্যে আমি যদি কিছু অগ্রে প্রেরণ করতাম! He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth (good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life!"	(আল ফজর: আয়াতঃ ২৪)
