নং আয়াত সূরা
1 আর যখন আমি মূসার সাথে ওয়াদা করেছি চল্লিশ রাত্রির অতঃপর তোমরা গোবৎস বানিয়ে নিয়েছ মূসার অনুপস্থিতিতে। বস্তুতঃ তোমরা ছিলে যালেম।
And remember We appointed forty nights for Moses, and in his absence ye took the calf (for worship), and ye did grievous wrong.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৫১)
2 শয়তান তোমাদেরকে অভাব অনটনের ভীতি প্রদর্শন করে এবং অশ্লীলতার আদেশ দেয়। পক্ষান্তরে আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে নিজের পক্ষ থেকে ক্ষমা ও বেশী অনুগ্রহের ওয়াদা করেন। আল্লাহ প্রাচুর্যময়, সুবিজ্ঞ।
The Evil one threatens you with poverty and bids you to conduct unseemly. Allah promiseth you His forgiveness and bounties. And Allah careth for all and He knoweth all things.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬৮)
3 হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! তুমি মানুষকে একদিন অবশ্যই একত্রিত করবেঃ এতে কোনই সন্দেহ নেই। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তাঁর ওয়াদার অন্যথা করেন না।
"Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind Together against a day about which there is no doubt; for Allah never fails in His promise."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
4 আর আল্লাহ যখন নবীগনের কাছ থেকে অস্বীকার গ্রহন করলেন যে, আমি যা কিছু তোমাদের দান করেছি কিতাব ও জ্ঞান এবং অতঃপর তোমাদের নিকট কোন রসূল আসেন তোমাদের কিতাবকে সত্য বলে দেয়ার জন্য, তখন সে রসূলের প্রতি ঈমান আনবে এবং তার সাহায্য করবে। তিনি বললেন, ‘তোমার কি অঙ্গীকার করছো এবং এই শর্তে আমার ওয়াদা গ্রহণ করে নিয়েছ? তারা বললো, ‘আমরা অঙ্গীকার করেছি’। তিনি বললেন, তাহলে এবার সাক্ষী থাক। আর আমিও তোমাদের সাথে সাক্ষী রইলাম।
Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৮১)
5 অতঃপর যে লোক এই ওয়াদা থেকে ফিরে দাঁড়াবে, সেই হবে নাফরমান।
If any turn back after this, they are perverted transgressors.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ৮২)
6 আর আল্লাহ সে ওয়াদাকে সত্যে পরিণত করেছেন, যখন তোমরা তাঁরই নির্দেশে ওদের খতম করছিলে। এমনকি যখন তোমরা ছত্রভঙ্গ হয়ে পড়েছে ও কর্তব্য স্থির করার ব্যাপারে বিবাদে লিপ্ত হয়েছে। আর যা তোমরা চাইতে তা দেখার পর কৃতঘ্নতা প্রদর্শন করেছ, তাতে তোমাদের কারো কাম্য ছিল দুনিয়া আর কারো বা কাম্য ছিল আখেরাত। অতঃপর তোমাদিগকে সরিয়ে দিলেন ওদের উপর থেকে যাতে তোমাদিগকে পরীক্ষা করেন। বস্তুতঃ তিনি তোমাদিগকে ক্ষমা করেছেন। আর আল্লাহর মুমিনদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহশীল।
Allah did indeed fulfil His promise to you when ye with His permission Were about to annihilate your enemy,-until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after He brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. Among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then did He divert you from your foes in order to test you but He forgave you: For Allah is full of grace to those who believe.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৫২)
7 হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমাদেরকে দাও, যা তুমি ওয়াদা করেছ তোমার রসূলগণের মাধ্যমে এবং কিয়ামতের দিন আমাদিগকে তুমি অপমানিত করো না। নিশ্চয় তুমি ওয়াদা খেলাফ করো না।
"Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine messengers, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For Thou never breakest Thy promise."		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৪)
8 গৃহে উপবিষ্ট মুসলমান-যাদের কোন সঙ্গত ওযর নেই এবং ঐ মুসলমান যারা জান ও মাল দ্বারা আল্লাহর পথে জেহাদ করে,-সমান নয়। যারা জান ও মাল দ্বারা জেহাদ করে, আল্লাহ তাদের পদমর্যাদা বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছেন গৃহে উপবিষ্টদের তুলনায় এবং প্রত্যেকের সাথেই আল্লাহ কল্যাণের ওয়াদা করেছেন। আল্লাহ মুজাহেদীনকে উপবিষ্টদের উপর মহান প্রতিদানে শ্রেষ্ঠ করেছেন।
Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward,-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
9 তিনিই রাত্রি বেলায় তোমাদেরকে করায়ত্ত করে নেন এবং যা কিছু তোমরা দিনের বেলায় কর, তা জানেন। অতঃপর তোমাদেরকে দিবসে সম্মুখিত করেন-যাতে নির্দিষ্ট ওয়াদা পূর্ণ হয়।
It is He who doth take your souls by night, and hath knowledge of all that ye have done by day: by day doth He raise you up again; that a term appointed be fulfilled; In the end unto Him will be your return; then will He show you the truth of all that ye did.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
10 যে বিষয়ের ওয়াদা তোমাদের সাথে করা হয়, তা অবশ্যই আগমন করবে এবং তোমরা অক্ষম করতে পারবে না।
All that hath been promised unto you will come to pass: nor can ye frustrate it (in the least bit).		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৪)
11 জান্নাতীরা দোযখীদেরকে ডেকে বলবেঃ আমাদের সাথে আমাদের প্রতিপালক যে ওয়াদা করেছিলেন, তা আমরা সত্য পেয়েছি? অতএব, তোমরাও কি তোমাদের প্রতিপালকের ওয়াদা সত্য পেয়েছ? তারা বলবেঃ হ্যাঁ। অতঃপর একজন ঘোষক উভয়ের মাঝখানে ঘোষণা করবেঃ আল্লাহর অভিসম্পাত জালেমদের উপর।
The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord's promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers;-		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
12 আর তাদের উপর যখন কোন আযাব পড়ে তখন বলে, হে মূসা আমাদের জন্য তোমার পরওয়ারদেগারের নিকট সে বিষয়ে দোয়া কর যা তিনি তোমার সাথে ওয়াদা করে রেখেছেন। যদি তুমি আমাদের উপর থেকে এ আযাব সরিয়ে দাও, তবে অবশ্যই আমরা ঈমান আনব তোমার উপর এবং তোমার সাথে বনী-ইসরাঈলদেরকে যেতে দেব।
Every time the penalty fell on them, they said: "O Moses! on your behalf call on thy Lord in virtue of his promise to thee: If thou wilt remove the penalty from us, we shall truly believe in thee, and we shall send away the Children of Israel with thee."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৩৪)
13 তারা কি প্রত্যক্ষ করেনি আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর রাজ্য সম্পর্কে এবং যা কিছু সৃষ্টি করেছেন আল্লাহ তা’আলা বস্তু সামগ্রী থেকে এবং এ ব্যাপারে যে, তাদের সাথে কৃত ওয়াদার সময় নিকটবর্তী হয়ে এসেছে? বস্তুতঃ এরপর কিসের উপর ঈমান আনবে?
Do they see nothing in the government of the heavens and the earth and all that Allah hath created? (Do they not see) that it may well be that their terms is nigh drawing to an end? In what message after this will they then believe?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৫)
14 আর যখন আল্লাহ দু’টি দলের একটির ব্যাপারে তোমাদের সাথে ওয়াদা করেছিলেন যে, সেটি তোমাদের হস্তগত হবে, আর তোমরা কামনা করছিলে যাতে কোন রকম কন্টক নেই, তাই তোমাদের ভাগে আসুক; অথচ আল্লাহ চাইতেন সত্যকে স্বীয় কালামের মাধ্যমে সত্যে পরিণত করতে এবং কাফেরদের মূল কর্তন করে দিতে,
Behold! Allah promised you one of the two (enemy) parties, that it should be yours: Ye wished that the one unarmed should be yours, but Allah willed to justify the Truth according to His words and to cut off the roots of the Unbelievers;-		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
15 আর যখন তোমরা ছিলে সমরাঙ্গনের এ প্রান্তে আর তারা ছিল সে প্রান্তে অথচ কাফেলা তোমাদের থেকে নীচে নেমে গিয়েছিল। এমতাবস্থায় যদি তোমরা পারস্পরিক অঙ্গীকারাবদ্ধ হতে, তবে তোমরা এক সঙ্গে সে ওয়াদা পালন করতে পারতে না। কিন্তু আল্লাহ তা’আলা এমন এক কাজ করতে চেয়েছিলেন, যা নির্ধারিত হয়ে গিয়েছিল যাতে সে সব লোক নিহত হওয়ার ছিল, প্রমাণ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর এবং যাদের বাঁচার ছিল, তারা বেঁচে থাকে প্রমাণ প্রতিষ্ঠার পর। আর নিশ্চিতই আল্লাহ শ্রবণকারী, বিজ্ঞ।
Remember ye were on the hither side of the valley, and they on the farther side, and the caravan on lower ground than ye. Even if ye had made a mutual appointment to meet, ye would certainly have failed in the appointment: But (thus ye met), that Allah might accomplish a matter already enacted; that those who died might die after a clear Sign (had been given), and those who lived might live after a Clear Sign (had been given). And verily Allah is He Who heareth and knoweth (all things).		 (আল-আনফাল:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
16 ওয়াদা করেছেন আল্লাহ, মুনাফেক পুরুষ ও মুনাফেক নারীদের এবং কাফেরদের জন্যে দোযখের আগুনের-তাতে পড়ে থাকবে সর্বদা। সেটাই তাদের জন্যে যথেষ্ট। আর আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি অভিসম্পাত করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে স্থায়ী আযাব।
Allah hath promised the Hypocrites men and women, and the rejecters, of Faith, the fire of Hell: Therein shall they dwell: Sufficient is it for them: for them is the curse of Allah, and an enduring punishment,-		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
17 তাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ রয়েছে যারা আল্লাহ তা’আলার সাথে ওয়াদা করেছিল যে, তিনি যদি আমাদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহ দান করেন, তবে অবশ্যই আমরা ব্যয় করব এবং সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়ে থাকব।
Amongst them are men who made a covenant with Allah, that if He bestowed on them of His bounty, they would give (largely) in charity, and be truly amongst those who are righteous.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
18 অতঃপর যখন তাদেরকে স্বীয় অনুগ্রহের মাধ্যমে দান করা হয়, তখন তাতে কার্পণ্য করেছে এবং কৃত ওয়াদা থেকে ফিরে গেছে তা ভেঙ্গে দিয়ে।
But when He did bestow of His bounty, they became covetous, and turned back (from their covenant), averse (from its fulfilment).		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
19 তারপর এরই পরিণতিতে তাদের অন্তরে কপটতা স্থান করে নিয়েছে সেদিন পর্যন্ত, যেদিন তার তাঁর সাথে গিয়ে মিলবে। তা এজন্য যে, তারা আল্লাহর সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা লংঘন করেছিল এবং এজন্যে যে, তারা মিথ্যা কথা বলতো।
So He hath put as a consequence hypocrisy into their hearts, (to last) till the Day, whereon they shall meet Him: because they broke their covenant with Allah, and because they lied (again and again).		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
20 তাঁর কাছেই ফিরে যেতে হবে তোমাদের সবাইকে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, তিনিই সৃষ্টি করেন প্রথমবার আবার পুনর্বার তৈরী করবেন তাদেরকে বদলা দেয়ার জন্য যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং নেক কাজ করেছে ইনসাফের সাথে। আর যারা কাফের হয়েছে, তাদের পান করতে হবে ফুটন্ত পানি এবং ভোগ করতে হবে যন্ত্রনাদায়ক আযাব এ জন্যে যে, তারা কুফরী করছিল।
To Him will be your return- of all of you. The promise of Allah is true and sure. It is He Who beginneth the process of creation, and repeateth it, that He may reward with justice those who believe and work righteousness; but those who reject Him will have draughts of boiling fluids, and a penalty grievous, because they did reject Him.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
21 আর যদি আমি দেখাই তোমাকে সে ওয়াদাসমূহের মধ্য থেকে কোন কিছু যা আমি তাদের সাথে করেছি, অথবা তোমাকে মৃত্যুদান করি, যাহোক, আমার কাছেই তাদেরকে প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। বস্তুতঃ আল্লাহ সে সমস্ত কর্মের সাক্ষী যা তারা করে।
Whether We show thee (realised in thy life-time) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (Before that),- in any case, to Us is their return: ultimately Allah is witness, to all that they do.		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৬)
22 তারা আরো বলে, এ ওয়াদা কবে আসবে, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক?
They say: "When will this promise come to pass,- if ye speak the truth?"		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
23 তুমি বল, আমি আমার নিজের ক্ষতি কিংবা লাভেরও মালিক নই, কিন্তু আল্লাহ যা ইচ্ছা করেন। প্রত্যেক সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যই একেকটি ওয়াদা রয়েছে, যখন তাদের সে ওয়াদা এসে পৌঁছে যাবে, তখন না একদন্ড পেছনে সরতে পারবে, না সামনে ফসকাতে পারবে,।
Say: "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah willeth. To every people is a term appointed: when their term is reached, not an hour can they cause delay, nor (an hour) can they advance (it in anticipation)."		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
24 আর নূহ (আঃ) তাঁর পালনকর্তাকে ডেকে বললেন-হে পরওয়ারদেগার, আমার পুত্র তো আমার পরিজনদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত; আর আপনার ওয়াদাও নিঃসন্দেহে সত্য আর আপনিই সর্বাপেক্ষা বিজ্ঞ ফয়সালাকারী।
And Noah called upon his Lord, and said: "O my Lord! surely my son is of my family! and Thy promise is true, and Thou art the justest of Judges!"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
25 তবু তারা উহার পা কেটে দিল। তখন সালেহ বললেন-তোমরা নিজেদের গৃহে তিনটি দিন উপভোগ করে নাও। ইহা এমন ওয়াদা যা মিথ্যা হবে না।
But they did ham-string her. So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days: (Then will be your ruin): (Behold) there a promise not to be belied!"		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৫)
26 আর আমি যে উহা বিলম্বিত করি, তা শুধু একটি ওয়াদার কারণে যা নির্ধারিত রয়েছে।
Nor shall We delay it but for a term appointed.		 (হুদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪)
27 যদি কোন কোরআন এমন হত, যার সাহায্যে পাহাড় চলমান হয় অথবা যমীন খন্ডিত হয় অথবা মৃতরা কথা বলে, তবে কি হত? বরং সব কাজ তো আল্লাহর হাতে। ঈমানদাররা কি এ ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিত নয় যে, যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে সব মানুষকে সৎপথে পরিচালিত করতেন? কাফেররা তাদের কৃতকর্মের কারণে সব সময় আঘাত পেতে থাকবে অথবা তাদের গৃহের নিকটবর্তী স্থানে আঘাত নেমে আসবে, যে, পর্যন্ত আল্লাহর ওয়াদা না আসে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ ওয়াদার খেলাফ করেন না।
If there were a Qur'an with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one!) But, truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the right)? But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for, verily, Allah will not fail in His promise.		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩১)
28 আপনার পূর্বে আমি অনেক রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি এবং তাঁদেরকে পত্নী ও সন্তান-সন্ততি দিয়েছি। কোন রসূলের এমন সাধ্য ছিল না যে আল্লাহর নির্দেশ ছাড়া কোন নিদর্শন উপস্থিত করে। প্রত্যেকটি ওয়াদা লিখিত আছে।
We did send messengers before thee, and appointed for them wives and children: and it was never the part of a messenger to bring a sign except as Allah permitted (or commanded). For each period is a Book (revealed).		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
29 আমি তাদের সাথে যে ওয়াদা করেছি, তার কোন একটি যদি আপনাকে দেখিয়ে দেই কিংবা আপনাকে উঠিয়ে নেই, তাতে কি আপনার দায়িত্ব তো পৌছে দেয়া এবং আমার দায়িত্ব হিসাব নেয়া।
Whether We shall show thee (within thy life-time) part of what we promised them or take to ourselves thy soul (before it is all accomplished),- thy duty is to make (the Message) reach them: it is our part to call them to account.		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
30 তাদের পর তোমাদেরকে দেশে আবাদ করব। এটা ঐ ব্যক্তি পায়, যে আমার সামনে দন্ডায়মান হওয়াকে এবং আমার আযাবের ওয়াদাকে ভয় করে।
"And verily We shall cause you to abide in the land, and succeed them. This for such as fear the Time when they shall stand before My tribunal,- such as fear the punishment denounced."		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
31 যখন সব কাজের ফায়সলা হয়ে যাবে, তখন শয়তান বলবেঃ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সত্য ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন এবং আমি তোমাদের সাথে ওয়াদা করেছি, অতঃপর তা ভঙ্গ করেছি। তোমাদের উপর তো আমার কোন ক্ষমতা ছিল না, কিন্তু এতটুকু যে, আমি তোমাদেরকে ডেকেছি, অতঃপর তোমরা আমার কথা মেনে নিয়েছ। অতএব তোমরা আমাকে ভৎর্সনা করো না এবং নিজেদেরকেই ভৎর্সনা কর। আমি তোমাদের উদ্ধারে সাহায্যকারী নই। এবং তোমরাও আমার উদ্ধারে সাহায্যকারী নও। ইতোপূর্বে তোমরা আমাকে যে আল্লাহর শরীক করেছিলে, আমি তা অস্বীকার করি। নিশ্চয় যারা জালেম তাদের জন্যে রয়েছে যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি।
And Satan will say when the matter is decided: "It was Allah Who gave you a promise of Truth: I too promised, but I failed in my promise to you. I had no authority over you except to call you but ye listened to me: then reproach not me, but reproach your own souls. I cannot listen to your cries, nor can ye listen to mine. I reject your former act in associating me with Allah. For wrong-doers there must be a grievous penalty."		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
32 অতএব আল্লাহর প্রতি ধারণা করো না যে, তিনি রসূলগণের সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা ভঙ্গ করবেন নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী, প্রতিশোধ গ্রহণকারী।
Never think that Allah would fail his messengers in His promise: for Allah is Exalted in power, - the Lord of Retribution.		 (ইব্রাহীম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
33 তারা আল্লাহর নামে কঠোর শপথ করে যে, যার মৃত্যু হয় আল্লাহ তাকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করবেন না। অবশ্যই এর পাকাপোক্ত ওয়াদা হয়ে গেছে। কিন্তু, অধিকাংশ লোক জানে না।
They swear their strongest oaths by Allah, that Allah will not raise up those who die: Nay, but it is a promise (binding) on Him in truth: but most among mankind realise it not.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
34 অতঃপর যখন প্রতিশ্রুতি সেই প্রথম সময়টি এল, তখন আমি তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে প্রেরণ করলাম আমার কঠোর যোদ্ধা বান্দাদেরকে। অতঃপর তারা প্রতিটি জনপদের আনাচে-কানাচে পর্যন্ত ছড়িয়ে পড়ল। এ ওয়াদা পূর্ণ হওয়ারই ছিল।
When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our servants given to terrible warfare: They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely) fulfilled.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
35 তারপর আমি বনী ইসলাঈলকে বললামঃ এ দেশে তোমরা বসবাস কর। অতঃপর যখন পরকালের ওয়াদা বাস্তবায়িত হবে, তখন তোমাদের কে জড়ো করে নিয়ে উপস্থিত হব।
And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel, "Dwell securely in the land (of promise)": but when the second of the warnings came to pass, We gathered you together in a mingled crowd.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪)
36 এবং বলেঃ আমাদের পালনকর্তা পবিত্র, মহান। নিঃসন্দেহে আমাদের পালকর্তার ওয়াদা অবশ্যই পূর্ণ হবে।
"And they say: 'Glory to our Lord! Truly has the promise of our Lord been fulfilled!'"		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ১০৮)
37 এমনিভাবে আমি তাদের খবর প্রকাশ করে দিলাম, যাতে তারা জ্ঞাত হয় যে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য এবং কেয়ামতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই। যখন তারা নিজেদের কর্তব্য বিষয়ে পরস্পর বিতর্ক করছিল, তখন তারা বললঃ তাদের উপর সৌধ নির্মাণ কর। তাদের পালনকর্তা তাদের বিষয়ে ভাল জানেন। তাদের কর্তব্য বিষয়ে যাদের মত প্রবল হল, তারা বললঃ আমরা অবশ্যই তাদের স্থানে মসজিদ নির্মান করব।
Thus did We make their case known to the people, that they might know that the promise of Allah is true, and that there can be no doubt about the Hour of Judgment. Behold, they dispute among themselves as to their affair. (Some) said, "Construct a building over them": Their Lord knows best about them: those who prevailed over their affair said, "Let us surely build a place of worship over them."		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
38 তাদের স্থায়ী বসবাস হবে যার ওয়াদা দয়াময় আল্লাহ তাঁর বান্দাদেরকে অদৃশ্যভাবে দিয়েছেন। অবশ্যই তাঁর ওয়াদার তারা পৌঁছাবে।
Gardens of Eternity, those which (Allah) Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the Unseen: for His promise must (necessarily) come to pass.		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৬১)
39 বলুন, যারা পথভ্রষ্টতায় আছে, দয়াময় আল্লাহ তাদেরকে যথেষ্ট অবকাশ দেবেন; এমনকি অবশেষে তারা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে যে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দেয়া হচ্ছে, তা আযাব হোক অথবা কেয়ামতই হোক। সুতরাং তখন তারা জানতে পারবে কে মর্তবায় নিকৃষ্ট ও দলবলে দূর্বল।
Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces!		 (মারইয়াম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
40 অতএব, আমরাও তোমার মোকাবেলায় তোমার নিকট অনুরূপ যাদু উপস্থিত করব। সুতরাং আমাদের ও তোমার মধ্যে একটি ওয়াদার দিন ঠিক কর, যার খেলাফ আমরাও করব না এবং তুমিও করবে না একটি পরিষ্কার প্রান্তরে।
"But we can surely produce magic to match thine! So make a tryst between us and thee, which we shall not fail to keep - neither we nor thou - in a place where both shall have even chances."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
41 মূসা বললঃ তোমাদের ওয়াদার দিন উৎসবের দিন এবং পূর্বাহেߠলোকজন সমবেত হবে।
Moses said: "Your tryst is the Day of the Festival, and let the people be assembled when the sun is well up."		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
42 অতঃপর মূসা তাঁর সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে ফিরে গেলেন ক্রদ্ধ ও অনুতপ্ত অবস্থায়। তিনি বললেনঃ হে আমার সম্প্রদায়, তোমাদের পালনকর্তা কি তোমাদেরকে একটি উত্তম প্রতিশ্রুতি দেননি? তবে কি প্রতিশ্রুতির সময়কাল তোমাদের কাছে দীর্ঘ হয়েছে, না তোমরা চেয়েছ যে, তোমাদের উপর তোমাদের পালনকর্তার ক্রোধ নেমে আসুক, যে কারণে তোমরা আমার সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা ভঙ্গ করলে?
So Moses returned to his people in a state of indignation and sorrow. He said: "O my people! did not your Lord make a handsome promise to you? Did then the promise seem to you long (in coming)? Or did ye desire that Wrath should descend from your Lord on you, and so ye broke your promise to me?"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৬)
43 তারা বললঃ আমরা তোমার সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা স্বেচ্ছায় ভঙ্গ করিনি; কিন্তু আমাদের উপর ফেরউনীদের অলংকারের বোঝা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছিল। অতঃপর আমরা তা নিক্ষেপ করে দিয়েছি। এমনি ভাবে সামেরীও নিক্ষেপ করেছে।
They said: "We broke not the promise to thee, as far as lay in our power: but we were made to carry the weight of the ornaments of the (whole) people, and we threw them (into the fire), and that was what the Samiri suggested.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৭)
44 মূসা বললেনঃ দূর হ, তোর জন্য সারা জীবন এ শাস্তিই রইল যে, তুই বলবি; আমাকে স্পর্শ করো না, এবং তোর জন্য একটি নির্দিষ্ট ওয়াদা আছে, যার ব্যতিক্রম হবে না। তুই তোর সেই ইলাহের প্রতি লক্ষ্য কর, যাকে তুই ঘিরে থাকতি। আমরা সেটি জালিয়ে দেবই। অতঃপর একে বিক্ষিপ্ত করে সাগরে ছড়িয়ে দেবই।
(Moses) said: "Get thee gone! but thy (punishment) in this life will be that thou wilt say, 'touch me not'; and moreover (for a future penalty) thou hast a promise that will not fail: Now look at thy god, of whom thou hast become a devoted worshipper: We will certainly (melt) it in a blazing fire and scatter it broadcast in the sea!"		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৭)
45 এবং তারা বলেঃ যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হও তবে এই ওয়াদা কবে পুর্ণ হবে?
They say: "When will this promise come to pass, if ye are telling the truth?"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
46 মহা ত্রাস তাদেরকে চিন্তান্বিত করবে না এবং ফেরেশতারা তাদেরকে অভ্যর্থনা করবেঃ আজ তোমাদের দিন, যে দিনের ওয়াদা তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছিল।
The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised."		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১০৩)
47 সেদিন আমি আকাশকে গুটিয়ে নেব, যেমন গুটানো হয় লিখিত কাগজপত্র। যেভাবে আমি প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করেছিলাম, সেভাবে পুনরায় সৃষ্টি করব। আমার ওয়াদা নিশ্চিত, আমাকে তা পূর্ণ করতেই হবে।
The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১০৪)
48 অতঃপর যদি তারা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, তবে বলে দিনঃ আমি তোমাদেরকে পরিস্কার ভাবে সতর্ক করেছি এবং আমি জানি না, তোমাদেরকে যে ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে, তা নিকটবর্তী না দূরবর্তী।
But if they turn back, Say: "I have proclaimed the Message to you all alike and in truth; but I know not whether that which ye are promised is near or far.		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১০৯)
49 তারা আপনাকে আযাব ত্বরান্বিত করতে বলে। অথচ আল্লাহ কখনও তাঁর ওয়াদা ভঙ্গ করেন না। আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে একদিন তোমাদের গণনার এক হাজার বছরের সমান।
Yet they ask thee to hasten on the Punishment! But Allah will not fail in His Promise. Verily a Day in the sight of thy Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৭)
50 যখন তাদের কাছে আমার সুস্পষ্ট আয়াতসমূহ আবৃত্তি করা হয়, তখন তুমি কাফেরদের চোখে মুখে অসন্তোষের লক্ষণ প্রত্যক্ষ করতে পারবে। যারা তাদের কাছে আমার আয়াত সমূহ পাঠ করে, তারা তাদের প্রতি মার মুখো হয়ে উঠে। বলুন, আমি কি তোমাদেরকে তদপেক্ষা মন্দ কিছুর সংবাদ দেব? তা আগুন; আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে এর ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। এটা কতই না নিকৃষ্ট প্রত্যাবর্তনস্থল।
When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!"		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৭২)
51 সে কি তোমাদেরকে এই ওয়াদা দেয় যে, তোমরা মারা গেলে এবং মৃত্তিকা ও অস্থিতে পরিণত হলে তোমাদেরকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করা হবে?
"Does he promise that when ye die and become dust and bones, ye shall be brought forth (again)?		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
52 তোমাদেরকে যে ওয়াদা দেয়া হচ্ছে, তা কোথায় হতে পারে?
"Far, very far is that which ye are promised!		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
53 অতীতে আমাদেরকে এবং আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে এই ওয়াদাই দেয়া হয়েছে। এটা তো পূর্ববতীদের কল্প-কথা বৈ কিছুই নয়।
"Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!"		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
54 বলুনঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা! যে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে তা যদি আমাকে দেখান,
Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,-		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
55 আমি তাদেরকে যে বিষয়ের ওয়াদা দিয়েছি, তা আপনাকে দেখাতে অবশ্যই সক্ষম।
And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৯৫)
56 তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন যে, তাদেরকে অবশ্যই পৃথিবীতে শাসনকর্তৃত্ব দান করবেন। যেমন তিনি শাসনকতৃꦣ2468;্ব দান করেছেন তাদের পূর্ববতীদেরকে এবং তিনি অবশ্যই সুদৃঢ় করবেন তাদের ধর্মকে, যা তিনি তাদের জন্যে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং তাদের ভয়-ভীতির পরিবর্তে অবশ্যই তাদেরকে শান্তি দান করবেন। তারা আমার এবাদত করবে এবং আমার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করবে না। এরপর যারা অকৃতজ্ঞ হবে, তারাই অবাধ্য।
Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫)
57 তারা চিরকাল বসবাসরত অবস্থায় সেখানে যা চাইবে, তাই পাবে। এই প্রার্থিত ওয়াদা পূরণ আপনার পালনকর্তার দায়িত্ব।
"For them there will be therein all that they wish for: they will dwell (there) for aye: A promise to be prayed for from thy Lord."		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
58 অতঃপর যে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দেয়া হত, তা তাদের কাছে এসে পড়ে।
Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised!		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২০৬)
59 এই ওয়াদাপ্রাপ্ত হয়েছি আমরা এবং পূর্ব থেকেই আমাদের বাপ-দাদারা। এটা তো পূর্ববর্তীদের উপকথা বৈ কিছু নয়।
"It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients."		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৮)
60 তারা বলে, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও তবে বল, এই ওয়াদা কখন পূর্ণ হবে?
They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful."		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
61 জুলুমের কারণে তাদের কাছে আযাবের ওয়াদা এসে গেছে। এখন তারা কোন কিছু বলতে পারবে না।
And the Word will be fulfilled against them, because of their wrong-doing, and they will be unable to speak (in plea).		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
62 অতঃপর আমি তাকে জননীর কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিলাম, যাতে তার চক্ষু জুড়ায় এবং তিনি দুঃখ না করেন এবং যাতে তিনি জানেন যে, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য, কিন্তু অনেক মানুষ তা জানে না।
Thus did We restore him to his mother, that her eye might be comforted, that she might not grieve, and that she might know that the promise of Allah is true: but most of them do not understand.		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ১৩)
63 অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন। আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। যারা বিশ্বাসী নয়, তারা যেন আপনাকে বিচলিত করতে না পারে।
So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith.		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৬০)
64 সেখানে তারা চিরকাল থাকবে। আল্লাহর ওয়াদা যথার্থ। তিনি পরাক্রমশালী ও প্রজ্ঞাময়।
To dwell therein. The promise of Allah is true: and He is Exalted in Power, Wise.		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
65 হে মানব জাতি! তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় কর এবং ভয় কর এমন এক দিবসকে, যখন পিতা পুত্রের কোন কাজে আসবে না এবং পুত্রও তার পিতার কোন উপকার করতে পারবে না। নিঃসন্দেহে আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। অতএব, পার্থিব জীবন যেন তোমাদেরকে ধোঁকা না দেয় এবং আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে প্রতারক শয়তানও যেন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারিত না করে।
O mankind! do your duty to your Lord, and fear (the coming of) a Day when no father can avail aught for his son, nor a son avail aught for his father. Verily, the promise of Allah is true: let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.		 (লোকমান:
আয়াতঃ ৩৩)
66 যখন মুমিনরা শক্রবাহিনীকে দেখল, তখন বলল, আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল এরই ওয়াদা আমাদেরকে দিয়েছিলেন এবং আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূল সত্য বলেছেন। এতে তাদের ঈমান ও আত্নসমর্পণই বৃদ্ধি পেল।
When the Believers saw the Confederate forces, they said: "This is what Allah and his Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger told us what was true." And it only added to their faith and their zeal in obedience.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
67 মুমিনদের মধ্যে কতক আল্লাহর সাথে কৃত ওয়াদা পূর্ণ করেছে। তাদের কেউ কেউ মৃত্যুবরণ করেছে এবং কেউ কেউ প্রতীক্ষা করছে। তারা তাদের সংকল্প মোটেই পরিবর্তন করেনি।
Among the Believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah: of them some have completed their vow (to the extreme), and some (still) wait: but they have never changed (their determination) in the least:		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
68 তারা বলে, তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও, তবে বল, এ ওয়াদা কখন বাস্তবায়িত হবে?
They say: "When will this promise (come to pass) if ye are telling the truth?"		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
69 বলুন, তোমাদের জন্যে একটি দিনের ওয়াদা রয়েছে যাকে তোমরা এক মহূর্তও বিলম্বিত করতে পারবে না এবং ত্বরান্বিত ও করতে পারবে না।
Say: "The appointment to you is for a Day, which ye cannot put back for an hour nor put forward."		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
70 হে মানুষ, নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। সুতরাং, পার্থিব জীবন যেন তোমাদেরকে প্রতারণা না করে। এবং সেই প্রবঞ্চক যেন কিছুতেই তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহ সম্পর্কে প্রবঞ্চিত না করে।
O men! Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
71 বলুন, তোমরা কি তোমাদের সে শরীকদের কথা ভেবে দেখেছ, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে তোমরা ডাক? তারা পৃথিবীতে কিছু সৃষ্টি করে থাকলে আমাকে দেখাও। না আসমান সৃষ্টিতে তাদের কোন অংশ আছে, না আমি তাদেরকে কোন কিতাব দিয়েছি যে, তারা তার দলীলের উপর কায়েম রয়েছে, বরং জালেমরা একে অপরকে কেবল প্রতারণামূলক ওয়াদা দিয়ে থাকে।
Say: "Have ye seen (these) 'Partners' of yours whom ye call upon besides Allah? Show Me what it is they have created in the (wide) earth. Or have they a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book from which they (can derive) clear (evidence)?- Nay, the wrong-doers promise each other nothing but delusions.		 (ফাতির:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
72 তারা বলে, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে বল এই ওয়াদা কবে পূর্ণ হবে?
Further, they say, "When will this promise (come to pass), if what ye say is true?"		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
73 তারা বলবে, হায় আমাদের দুর্ভোগ! কে আমাদেরকে নিদ্রাস্থল থেকে উখিত করল? রহমান আল্লাহ তো এরই ওয়াদা দিয়েছিলেন এবং রসূলগণ সত্য বলেছিলেন।
They will say: "Ah! Woe unto us! Who hath raised us up from our beds of repose?"... (A voice will say:) "This is what (Allah) Most Gracious had promised. And true was the word of the messengers!"		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
74 এই সে জাহান্নাম, যার ওয়াদা তোমাদেরকে দেয়া হতো।
"This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned!		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
75 তারা বলবে, সমস্ত প্রশংসা আল্লাহর, যিনি আমাদের প্রতি তাঁর ওয়াদা পূর্ণ করেছেন এবং আমাদেরকে এ ভূমির উত্তরাধিকারী করেছেন। আমরা জান্নাতের যেখানে ইচ্ছা বসবাস করব। মেহনতকারীদের পুরস্কার কতই চমৎকার।
They will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has truly fulfilled His Promise to us, and has given us (this) land in heritage: We can dwell in the Garden as we will: how excellent a reward for those who work (righteousness)!"		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
76 হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আর তাদেরকে দাখিল করুন চিরকাল বসবাসের জান্নাতে, যার ওয়াদা আপনি তাদেরকে দিয়েছেন এবং তাদের বাপ-দাদা, পতি-পত্নী ও সন্তানদের মধ্যে যারা সৎকর্ম করে তাদেরকে। নিশ্চয় আপনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
"And grant, our Lord! that they enter the Gardens of Eternity, which Thou hast promised to them, and to the righteous among their fathers, their wives, and their posterity! For Thou art (He), the Exalted in Might, Full of Wisdom.		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
77 অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। আপনি আপনার গোনাহের জন্যে ক্ষমা প্রর্থনা করুন এবং সকাল-সন্ধ্যায় আপনার পালনকর্তার প্রশংসাসহ পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করুন।
Patiently, then, persevere: for the Promise of Allah is true: and ask forgiveness for thy fault, and celebrate the Praises of thy Lord in the evening and in the morning.		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫)
78 অতএব আপনি সবর করুন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে যে শাস্তির ওয়াদা দেই, তার কিয়দংশ যদি আপনাকে দেখিয়ে দেই অথবা আপনার প্রাণ হরণ করে নেই, সর্বাবস্থায় তারা তো আমারই কাছে ফিরে আসবে।
So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return.		 (আল-মু'মিন:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
79 অথবা যদি আমি তাদেরকে যে আযাবের ওয়াদা দিয়েছি, তা আপনাকে দেখিয়ে দেই, তবু তাদের উপর আমার পূর্ণ ক্ষমতা রয়েছে।
Or We shall show thee that (accomplished) which We have promised them: for verily We shall prevail over them.		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
80 তারা বলল, হে যাদুকর, তুমি আমাদের জন্যে তোমার পালনকর্তার কাছে সে বিষয় প্রার্থনা কর, যার ওয়াদা তিনি তোমাকে দিয়েছেন; আমরা অবশ্যই সৎপথ অবলম্বন করব।
And they said, "O thou sorcerer! Invoke thy Lord for us according to His covenant with thee; for we shall truly accept guidance."		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
81 অতএব, তাদেরকে বাকচাতুরী ও ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করতে দিন সেই দিবসের সাক্ষাত পর্যন্ত, যার ওয়াদা তাদেরকে দেয়া হয়।
So leave them to babble and play (with vanities) until they meet that Day of theirs, which they have been promised.		 (যুখরুফ:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
82 যখন বলা হত, আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য এবং কেয়ামতে কোন সন্দেহ নেই, তখন তোমরা বলতে আমরা জানি না কেয়ামত কি ? আমরা কেবল ধারণাই করি এবং এ বিষয়ে আমরা নিশ্চিত নই।
"And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'"		 (আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
83 আমি এমন লোকদের সুকর্মগুলো কবুল করি এবং মন্দকর্মগুলো মার্জনা করি। তারা জান্নাতীদের তালিকাভুক্ত সেই সত্য ওয়াদার কারণে যা তাদেরকে দেওয়া হত।
Such are they from whom We shall accept the best of their deeds and pass by their ill deeds: (They shall be) among the Companions of the Garden: a promise! of truth, which was made to them (in this life).		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
84 আর যে ব্যক্তি তার পিতা-মাতাকে বলে, ধিক তোমাদেরকে, তোমরা কি আমাকে খবর দাও যে, আমি পুনরুত্থিত হব, অথচ আমার পূর্বে বহু লোক গত হয়ে গেছে? আর পিতা-মাতা আল্লাহর কাছে ফরিযাদ করে বলে, দুর্ভোগ তোমার তুমি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর ওয়াদা সত্য। তখন সে বলে, এটা তো পূর্ববর্তীদের উপকথা বৈ নয়।
But (there is one) who says to his parents, "Fie on you! Do ye hold out the promise to me that I shall be raised up, even though generations have passed before me (without rising again)?" And they two seek Allah's aid, (and rebuke the son): "Woe to thee! Have faith! for the promise of Allah is true." But he says, "This is nothing but tales of the ancients!"		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
85 তারা বলল, তুমি কি আমাদেরকে আমাদের উপাস্য দেব-দেবী থেকে নিবৃত্ত করতে আগমন করেছ? তুমি সত্যবাদী হলে আমাদেরকে যে বিষয়ের ওয়াদা দাও, তা নিয়ে আস।
They said: "Hast thou come in order to turn us aside from our gods? Then bring upon us the (calamity) with which thou dost threaten us, if thou art telling the truth?"		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
86 অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন, যেমন উচ্চ সাহসী পয়গম্বরগণ সবর করেছেন এবং ওদের বিষয়ে তড়িঘড়ি করবেন না। ওদেরকে যে বিষয়ে ওয়াদা দেয়া হত, তা যেদিন তারা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, সেদিন তাদের মনে হবে যেন তারা দিনের এক মুহুর্তের বেশী পৃথিবীতে অবস্থান করেনি। এটা সুস্পষ্ট অবগতি। এখন তারাই ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবে, যারা পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়।
Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) messengers of inflexible purpose; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers). On the Day that they see the (Punishment) promised them, (it will be) as if they had not tarried more than an hour in a single day. (Thine but) to proclaim the Message: but shall any be destroyed except those who transgress?		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
87 পরহেযগারদেরকে যে জান্নাতের ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে, তার অবস্থা নিম্নরূপঃ তাতে আছে পানির নহর, নির্মল দুধের নহর যারা স্বাদ অপরিবর্তনীয়, পানকারীদের জন্যে সুস্বাদু শরাবের নহর এবং পরিশোধিত মধুর নহর। তথায় তাদের জন্যে আছে রকমারি ফল-মূল ও তাদের পালনকর্তার ক্ষমা। পরহেযগাররা কি তাদের সমান, যারা জাহান্নামে অনন্তকাল থাকবে এবং যাদেরকে পান করতে দেয়া হবে ফুটন্ত পানি অতঃপর তা তাদের নাড়িভূঁড়ি ছিন্ন বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দেবে?
(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; and Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell for ever in the Fire, and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)?		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
88 আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে বিপুল পরিমাণ যুদ্ধলব্ধ সম্পদের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন, যা তোমরা লাভ করবে। তিনি তা তোমাদের জন্যে ত্বরান্বিত করবেন। তিনি তোমাদের থেকে শত্রুদের স্তব্দ করে দিয়েছেন-যাতে এটা মুমিনদের জন্যে এক নিদর্শন হয় এবং তোমাদেরকে সরল পথে পরিচালিত করেন।
Allah has promised you many gains that ye shall acquire, and He has given you these beforehand; and He has restrained the hands of men from you; that it may be a Sign for the Believers, and that He may guide you to a Straight Path;		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
89 মুহাম্মদ আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর সহচরগণ কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর, নিজেদের মধ্যে পরস্পর সহানুভূতিশীল। আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনায় আপনি তাদেরকে রুকু ও সেজদারত দেখবেন। তাদের মুখমন্ডলে রয়েছে সেজদার চিহ্ন । তওরাতে তাদের অবস্থা এরূপ এবং ইঞ্জিলে তাদের অবস্থা যেমন একটি চারা গাছ যা থেকে নির্গত হয় কিশলয়, অতঃপর তা শক্ত ও মজবুত হয় এবং কান্ডের উপর দাঁড়ায় দৃঢ়ভাবে-চাষীকে আনন্দে অভিভুত করে-যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের দ্বারা কাফেরদের অন্তর্জালা সৃষ্টি করেন। তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কারের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন।
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
90 তোমাদের প্রদত্ত ওয়াদা অবশ্যই সত্য।
Verily that which ye are promised is true;		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
91 তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করতে কিসে বাধা দেয়, যখন আল্লাহই নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের উত্তরাধিকারী? তোমাদের মধ্যে যে মক্কা বিজয়ের পূর্বে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে, সে সমান নয়। এরূপ লোকদের মর্যদা বড় তাদের অপেক্ষা, যার পরে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে। তবে আল্লাহ উভয়কে কল্যাণের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
92 অতএব, আপনি তাদেরকে ছেড়ে দিন, তারা বাকবিতন্ডা ও ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক করুক সেই দিবসের সম্মুখীন হওয়া পর্যন্ত, যে দিবসের ওয়াদা তাদের সাথে করা হচ্ছে।
So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!-		 (আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
93 তাদের দৃষ্টি থাকবে অবনমিত; তারা হবে হীনতাগ্রস্ত। এটাই সেইদিন, যার ওয়াদা তাদেরকে দেয়া হত।
Their eyes lowered in dejection,- ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised!		 (আল মা'আরিজ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
94 নিশ্চয়ই তোমাদেরকে প্রদত্ত ওয়াদা বাস্তবায়িত হবে।
Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass.		 (আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
