নং	আয়াত	সূরা
1	ওরা বলে, ইহুদী অথবা খ্রীস্টান ব্যতীত কেউ জান্নাতে যাবে না। এটা ওদের মনের বাসনা। বলে দিন, তোমরা সত্যবাদী হলে, প্রমাণ উপস্থিত কর। And they say: "None shall enter Paradise unless he be a Jew or a Christian." Those are their (vain) desires. Say: "Produce your proof if ye are truthful."	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১১১)
2	ইহুদীরা বলে, খ্রীস্টানরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয় এবং খ্রীস্টানরা বলে, ইহুদীরা কোন ভিত্তির উপরেই নয়। অথচ ওরা সবাই কিতাব পাঠ করে! এমনিভাবে যারা মূর্খ, তারাও ওদের মতই উক্তি করে। অতএব, আল্লাহ কেয়ামতের দিন তাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তারা মতবিরোধ করছিল। The Jews say: "The Christians have naught (to stand) upon; and the Christians say: "The Jews have naught (To stand) upon." Yet they (Profess to) study the (same) Book. Like unto their word is what those say who know not; but Allah will judge between them in their quarrel on the Day of Judgment.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১১৩)
3	যে ব্যাক্তি আল্লাহর মসজিদসমূহে তাঁর নাম উচ্চারণ করতে বাধা দেয় এবং সেগুলোকে উজাড় করতে চেষ্টা করে, তার চাইতে বড় যালেম আর কে? এদের পক্ষে মসজিদসমূহে প্রবেশ করা বিধেয় নয়, অবশ্য ভীত-সন্ত্রস্ত অবস্থায়। ওদের জন্য ইহকালে লাঞ্ছনা এবং পরকালে কঠিন শাস্তি রয়েছে। And who is more unjust than he who forbids that in places for the worship of Allah, Allah's name should be celebrated?-whose zeal is (in fact) to ruin them? It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them except in fear. For them there is nothing but disgrace in this world, and in the world to come, an exceeding torment.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১১৪)
4	আর কোন লোক এমনও রয়েছে যারা অন্যান্যকে আল্লাহর সমকক্ষ সাব্যস্ত করে এবং তাদের প্রতি তেমনি ভালবাসা পোষণ করে, যেমন আল্লাহর প্রতি ভালবাসা হয়ে থাকে। কিন্তু যারা আল্লাহর প্রতি ঈমানদার তাদের ভালবাসা ওদের তুলনায় বহুগুণ বেশী। আর কতইনা উত্তম হ’ত যদি এ জালেমরা পার্থিব কোন কোন আযাব প্রত্যক্ষ করেই উপলব্ধি করে নিত যে, যাবতীয় ক্ষমতা শুধুমাত্র আল্লাহরই জন্য এবং আল্লাহর আযাবই সবচেয়ে কঠিনতর। Yet there are men who take (for worship) others besides Allah, as equal (with Allah): They love them as they should love Allah. But those of Faith are overflowing in their love for Allah. If only the unrighteous could see, behold, they would see the penalty: that to Allah belongs all power, and Allah will strongly enforce the penalty.	(আল বাকারা: আয়াতঃ ১৬৫)
5	আল্লাহর প্রতিশ্রুতি কিংবা মানুষের প্রতিশ্রুতি ব্যতিত ওরা যেখানেই অবস্থান করেছে সেখানেই তাদের ওপর লাঞ্ছনা চাপিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে। আর ওরা উপার্জন করেছে আল্লাহর গযব। ওদের উপর চাপানো হয়েছে গলগ্রহতা। তা এজন্যে যে, ওরা আল্লাহর আয়াতসমূহকে অনবরত অস্বীকার করেছে এবং নবীগনকে অন্যায়ভাবে হত্যা করেছে। তার কারণ, ওরা নাফরমানী করেছে এবং সীমা লংঘন করেছে। Shame is pitched over them (Like a tent) wherever they are found, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah and from men; they draw on themselves wrath from Allah, and pitched over them is (the tent of) destitution. This because they rejected the Signs of Allah, and slew the prophets in defiance of right; this because they rebelled and transgressed beyond bounds.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১১২)
6	খুব শীঘ্রই আমি কাফেরদের মনে ভীতির সঞ্চার করবো। কারণ, ওরা আল্লাহর সাথে অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করে যে সম্পর্কে কোন সনদ অবতীর্ণ করা হয়নি। আর ওদের ঠিকানা হলো দোযখের আগুন। বস্তুতঃ জালেমদের ঠিকানা অত্যন্ত নিকৃষ্ট। Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority: their abode will be the Fire: And evil is the home of the wrong-doers!	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৫১)
7	আর আল্লাহ সে ওয়াদাকে সত্যে পরিণত করেছেন, যখন তোমরা তাঁরই নির্দেশে ওদের খতম করছিলে। এমনকি যখন তোমরা ছত্রভঙ্গ হয়ে পড়েছে ও কর্তব্য স্থির করার ব্যাপারে বিবাদে লিপ্ত হয়েছে। আর যা তোমরা চাইতে তা দেখার পর কৃতঘ্নতা প্রদর্শন করেছ, তাতে তোমাদের কারো কাম্য ছিল দুনিয়া আর কারো বা কাম্য ছিল আখেরাত। অতঃপর তোমাদিগকে সরিয়ে দিলেন ওদের উপর থেকে যাতে তোমাদিগকে পরীক্ষা করেন। বস্তুতঃ তিনি তোমাদিগকে ক্ষমা করেছেন। আর আল্লাহর মুমিনদের প্রতি অনুগ্রহশীল। Allah did indeed fulfil His promise to you when ye with His permission Were about to annihilate your enemy,-until ye flinched and fell to disputing about the order, and disobeyed it after He brought you in sight (of the booty) which ye covet. Among you are some that hanker after this world and some that desire the Hereafter. Then did He divert you from your foes in order to test you but He forgave you: For Allah is full of grace to those who believe.	(আল ইমরান: আয়াতঃ ১৫২)
8	তুমি কি ওদের দেখনি, যারা কিতাবের কিছু অংশ প্রাপ্ত হয়েছে, (অথচ) তারা পথভ্রষ্টতা খরিদ করে এবং কামনা করে, যাতে তোমরাও আল্লাহর পথ থেকে বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে যাও। Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they traffic in error, and wish that ye should lose the right path.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
9	এরা হলো সে সমস্ত লোক, যাদের মনের গোপন বিষয় সম্পর্কেও আল্লাহ তা’আলা অবগত। অতএব, আপনি ওদেরকে উপেক্ষা করুন এবং ওদেরকে সদুপদেশ দিয়ে এমন কোন কথা বলুন যা তাদের জন্য কল্যাণকর। Those men,-Allah knows what is in their hearts; so keep clear of them, but admonish them, and speak to them a word to reach their very souls.	(আন নিসা: আয়াতঃ ৬৩)
10	তারা আপনাকে জিজ্ঞেস করে যে, কি বস্তু তাদের জন্যে হালাল? বলে দিন, তোমাদের জন্যে পবিত্র বস্তুসমূহ হালাল করা হয়েছে। যেসব শিকারী জন্তুকে তোমরা প্রশিক্ষণ দান কর শিকারের প্রতি প্রেরণের জন্যে এবং ওদেরকে ঐ পদ্ধতিতে প্রশিক্ষণ দাও, যা আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন। এমন শিকারী জন্তু যে শিকারকে তোমাদের জন্যে ধরে রাখে, তা খাও এবং তার উপর আল্লাহর নাম উচ্চারণ কর। আল্লাহকে ভয় করতে থাক। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সত্ত্বর হিসাব গ্রহণকারী। They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food). Say: lawful unto you are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah: eat what they catch for you, but pronounce the name of Allah over it: and fear Allah; for Allah is swift in taking account.	(আল মায়িদাহ: আয়াতঃ ৪)
11	এগুলো হল সে সব জনপদ যার কিছু বিবরণ আমি আপনাকে অবহিত করছি। আর নিশ্চিতই ওদের কাছে পৌছেছিলেন রসূল নিদর্শন সহকারে। অতঃপর কস্মিনকালও এরা ঈমান আনবার ছিল না, তারপরে যা তার ইতিপূর্বে মিথ্যা বলে প্রতিপন্ন করেছে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ কাফেরদের অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেন। Such were the towns whose story We (thus) relate unto thee: There came indeed to them their messengers with clear (signs): But they would not believe what they had rejected before. Thus doth Allah seal up the hearts of those who reject faith.	(আল আ'রাফ: আয়াতঃ ১০১)
12	যুদ্ধ কর ওদের সাথে, আল্লাহ তোমাদের হস্তে তাদের শাস্তি দেবেন। তাদের লাঞ্ছিত করবেন, তাদের বিরুদ্ধে তোমাদের জয়ী করবেন এবং মুসলমানদের অন্তরসমূহ শান্ত করবেন। Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers,	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ১৪)
13	আর যখনই কোন সূরা অবতীর্ণ হয়, তখন তারা একে অন্যের দিকে তাকায় যে, কোন মুসলমান তোমাদের দেখছে কি-না-অতঃপর সরে পড়ে। আল্লাহ ওদের অন্তরকে সত্য বিমুখ করে দিয়েছেন! নিশ্চয়ই তারা নির্বোধ সম্প্রদায়। Whenever there cometh down a Sura, they look at each other, (saying), "Doth anyone see you?" Then they turn aside: Allah hath turned their hearts (from the light); for they are a people that understand not.	(আত তাওবাহ: আয়াতঃ ১২৭)
14	মেহমান ফেরেশতাগন বলল-হে লূত (আঃ) আমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার পক্ষ হতে প্রেরিত ফেরেশতা। এরা কখনো তোমার দিকে পৌঁছাতে পারবে না। ব্যস তুমি কিছুটা রাত থাকতে থাকতে নিজের লোকজন নিয়ে বাইরে চলে যাও। আর তোমাদের কেউ যেন পিছনে ফিরে না তাকায়। কিন্তু তোমার স্ত্রী নিশ্চয় তার উপরও তা আপতিত হবে, যা ওদের উপর আপতিত হবে। ভোর বেলাই তাদের প্রতিশ্রুতির সময়, ভোর কি খুব নিকটে নয়? (The Messengers) said: "O Lut! We are Messengers from thy Lord! By no means shall they reach thee! now travel with thy family while yet a part of the night remains, and let not any of you look back: but thy wife (will remain behind): To her will happen what happens to the people. Morning is their time appointed: Is not the morning nigh?"	(হুদ: আয়াতঃ ৮১)
15	তারা ওদের দিকে মুখ করে বললঃ তোমাদের কি হারিয়েছে? They said, turning towards them: "What is it that ye miss?"	(ইউসূফ: আয়াতঃ ৭১)
16	তাঁর পক্ষ থেকে অনুসরণকারী রয়েছে তাদের অগ্রে এবং পশ্চাতে, আল্লাহর নির্দেশে তারা ওদের হেফাযত করে। আল্লাহ কোন জাতির অবস্থা পরিবর্তন করেন না, যে পর্যন্ত না তারা তাদের নিজেদের অবস্থা পরিবর্তন করে। আল্লাহ যখন কোন জাতির উপর বিপদ চান, তখন তা রদ হওয়ার নয় এবং তিনি ব্যতীত তাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই। For each (such person) there are (angels) in succession, before and behind him: They guard him by command of Allah. Allah does not change a people's lot unless they change what is in their hearts. But when (once) Allah willeth a people's punishment, there can be no turning it back, nor will they find, besides Him, any to protect.	(রা'দ: আয়াতঃ ১১)
17	সত্যের আহবান একমাত্র তাঁরই এবং তাকে ছাড়া যাদেরকে ডাকে, তারা তাদের কোন কাজে আসে না; ওদের দৃষ্টান্ত সেরূপ, যেমন কেউ দু’ হাত পানির দিকে প্রসারিত করে যাতে পানি তার মুখে পৌঁছে যায়। অথচ পানি কোন সময় পৌঁছাবে না। কাফেরদের যত আহবান তার সবই পথভ্রষ্টতা। For Him (alone) is prayer in Truth: any others that they call upon besides Him hear them no more than if they were to stretch forth their hands for water to reach their mouths but it reaches them not: for the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile) wandering (in the mind).	(রা'দ: আয়াতঃ ১৪)
18	এবং যারা আল্লাহর অঙ্গীকারকে দৃঢ় ও পাকা-পোক্ত করার পর তা ভঙ্গ করে, আল্লাহ যে, সম্পর্ক বজায় রাখতে আদেশ করেছেন, তা ছিন্ন করে এবং পৃথিবীতে অশান্তি সৃষ্টি করে, ওরা ঐ সমস্ত লোক যাদের জন্যে রয়েছে অভিসম্পাত এবং ওদের জন্যে রয়েছে কঠিন আযাব। But those who break the Covenant of Allah, after having plighted their word thereto, and cut asunder those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, and work mischief in the land;- on them is the curse; for them is the terrible home!	(রা'দ: আয়াতঃ ২৫)
19	তোমরা তাদের বাসভূমিতেই বসবাস করতে, যারা নিজেদের উপর জুলুম করেছে এবং তোমাদের জানা হয়ে গিয়েছিল যে, আমি তাদের সাথে কিরূপ ব্যবহার করেছি এবং আমি তোমাদেরকে ওদের সব কাহিনীই বর্ণনা করেছি। "And ye dwelt in the dwellings of men who wronged their own souls; ye were clearly shown how We dealt with them; and We put forth (many) parables in your behoof!"	(ইব্রাহীম: আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
20	ওদের কাছে এমন কোন রসূল আসেননি, যাদের সাথে ওরা ঠাট্টাবিদ্রূপ করতে থাকেনি। But never came a messenger to them but they mocked him.	(হিজর: আয়াতঃ ১১)
21	যদি আমি ওদের সামনে আকাশের কোন দরজাও খুলে দেই আর তাতে ওরা দিনভর আরোহণ ও করতে থাকে। Even if We opened out to them a gate from heaven, and they were to continue (all day) ascending therein,	(হিজর: আয়াতঃ ১৪)
22	আমি নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল এবং এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী যা আছে তা তাৎপর্যহীন সৃষ্টি করিনি। কেয়ামত অবশ্যই আসবে। অতএব পরম ঔদাসীন্যের সাথে ওদের ক্রিয়াকর্ম উপক্ষো করুন। We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends. And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any human faults) with gracious forgiveness.	(হিজর: আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
23	অতএব আপনার পালনকর্তার কসম, আমি অবশ্যই ওদের সবাইকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করব। Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account,	(হিজর: আয়াতঃ ৯২)
24	ওদের কাজকর্ম সম্পর্কে। For all their deeds.	(হিজর: আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
25	ফলে কেয়ামতের দিন ওরা পূর্ণমাত্রায় বহন করবে ওদের পাপভার এবং পাপভার তাদেরও যাদেরকে তারা তাদের অজ্ঞতাহেতু বিপথগামী করে শুনে নাও, খুবই নিকৃষ্ট বোঝা যা তারা বহন করে। Let them bear, on the Day of Judgment, their own burdens in full, and also (something) of the burdens of those without knowledge, whom they misled. Alas, how grievous the burdens they will bear!	(নাহল: আয়াতঃ ২৫)
26	এদেরকে এবং ওদেরকে প্রত্যেককে আমি আপনার পালনকর্তার দান পৌছে দেই এবং আপনার পালকর্তার দান অবধারিত। Of the bounties of thy Lord We bestow freely on all- These as well as those: The bounties of thy Lord are not closed (to anyone).	(বনী ইসরাঈল: আয়াতঃ ২০)
27	তোমাদের পালনকর্তা তোমাদের সম্পর্কে ভালভাবে জ্ঞাত আছেন। তিনি যদি চান, তোমাদের প্রতি রহমত করবেন কিংবা যদি চান, তোমাদের আযাব দিবেন। আমি আপনাকে ওদের সবার তত্ত্বাবধায়ক রূপে প্রেরণ করিনি। It is your Lord that knoweth you best: If He please, He granteth you mercy, or if He please, punishment: We have not sent thee to be a disposer of their affairs for them.	(বনী ইসরাঈল: আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
28	অতঃপর তিনি সেগুলোকে চূর্ণ-বিচুর্ণ করে দিলেন ওদের প্রধানটি ব্যতীতঃ যাতে তারা তাঁর কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করে। So he broke them to pieces, (all) but the biggest of them, that they might turn (and address themselves) to it.	(আম্বিয়া: আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
29	ধিক তোমাদের জন্যে এবং তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত যাদেরই এবাদত কর, ওদের জন্যে। তোমরা কি বোঝ না? "Fie upon you, and upon the things that ye worship besides Allah! Have ye no sense?"..	(আম্বিয়া: আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
30	যখন ওদের সামনে আমার আয়তসমূহ পাঠ করা হয়, তখন ওরা দম্ভের সাথে এমনভাবে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নেয়, যেন ওরা তা শুনতেই পায়নি অথবা যেন ওদের দু’কান বধির। সুতরাং ওদেরকে কষ্টদায়ক আযাবের সংবাদ দাও। When Our Signs are rehearsed to such a one, he turns away in arrogance, as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in both his ears: announce to him a grievous Penalty.	(লোকমান: আয়াতঃ ৭)
31	ওদের সবাইকে সমবেত অবস্থায় আমার দরবারে উপস্থিত হতেই হবে। But each one of them all - will be brought before Us (for judgment).	(ইয়াসীন: আয়াতঃ ৩২)
32	ওদেরকে বিতাড়নের উদ্দেশে। ওদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিরামহীন শাস্তি। Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty,	(আস-সাফফাত: আয়াতঃ ৯)
33	এক্ষেত্রে বহু বাহিনীর মধ্যে ওদেরও এক বাহিনী আছে, যা পরাজিত হবে। But there - will be put to flight even a host of confederates.	(ছোয়াদ: আয়াতঃ ১১)
34	যেদিন আল্লাহর শত্রুদেরকে অগ্নিকুন্ডের দিকে ঠেলে নেওয়া হবে। এবং ওদের বিন্যস্ত করা হবে বিভিন্ন দলে। On the Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered together to the Fire, they will be marched in ranks.	(হা-মীম সেজদাহ: আয়াতঃ ১৯)
35	তারা বলে, রহমান আল্লাহ ইচছা না করলে আমরা ওদের পূজা করতাম না। এ বিষয়ে তারা কিছুই জানে না। তারা কেবল অনুমানে কথা বলে। ("Ah!") they say, "If it had been the will of (Allah) Most Gracious, we should not have worshipped such (deities)!" Of that they have no knowledge! they do nothing but lie!	(যুখরুফ: আয়াতঃ ২০)
36	ওরা শ্রেষ্ঠ, না তুব্বার সম্প্রদায় ও তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা? আমি ওদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি। ওরা ছিল অপরাধী। What! Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin.	(আদ দোখান: আয়াতঃ ৩৭)
37	অতএব, আপনি সবর করুন, যেমন উচ্চ সাহসী পয়গম্বরগণ সবর করেছেন এবং ওদের বিষয়ে তড়িঘড়ি করবেন না। ওদেরকে যে বিষয়ে ওয়াদা দেয়া হত, তা যেদিন তারা প্রত্যক্ষ করবে, সেদিন তাদের মনে হবে যেন তারা দিনের এক মুহুর্তের বেশী পৃথিবীতে অবস্থান করেনি। এটা সুস্পষ্ট অবগতি। এখন তারাই ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবে, যারা পাপাচারী সম্প্রদায়। Therefore patiently persevere, as did (all) messengers of inflexible purpose; and be in no haste about the (Unbelievers). On the Day that they see the (Punishment) promised them, (it will be) as if they had not tarried more than an hour in a single day. (Thine but) to proclaim the Message: but shall any be destroyed except those who transgress?	(আল আহক্বাফ: আয়াতঃ ৩৫)
38	অতএব, আপনি ওদের থেকে মুখ ফিরিয়ে নিন। এতে আপনি অপরাধী হবেন না। So turn away from them: not thine is the blame.	(আয-যারিয়াত: আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
39	অতএব, এই যালেমদের প্রাপ্য তাই, যা ওদের অতীত সহচরদের প্রাপ্য ছিল। কাজেই ওরা যেন আমার কাছে তা তাড়াতাড়ি না চায়। For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)!	(আয-যারিয়াত: আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
40	অতএব, কাফেরদের জন্যে দুর্ভোগ সেই দিনের, যেদিনের প্রতিশ্রুতি ওদেরকে দেয়া হয়েছে। Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised!	(আয-যারিয়াত: আয়াতঃ ৬০)
41	অতএব, আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তার আদেশের জন্যে ধৈর্য্য সহকারে অপেক্ষা করুন এবং ওদের মধ্যকার কোন পাপিষ্ঠ কাফেরের আনুগত্য করবেন না। Therefore be patient with constancy to the Command of thy Lord, and hearken not to the sinner or the ingrate among them.	(আদ-দাহর: আয়াতঃ ২৪)
