“বিতাড়িত শয়তান হতে আল্লাহর নিকট আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করছি। পরম করুণাময় ও অসীম দয়ালু আল্লাহর নামে আরম্ভ করছি।”

নং আয়াত সূরা
1 আল্লাহ পাক নিঃসন্দেহে মশা বা তদুর্ধ্ব বস্তু দ্বারা উপমা পেশ করতে লজ্জাবোধ করেন না। বস্তুতঃ যারা মুমিন তারা নিশ্চিতভাবে বিশ্বাস করে যে, তাদের পালনকর্তা কর্তৃক উপস্থাপিত এ উপমা সম্পূর্ণ নির্ভূল ও সঠিক। আর যারা কাফের তারা বলে, এরূপ উপমা উপস্থাপনে আল্লাহর মতলবই বা কি ছিল। এ দ্বারা আল্লাহ তা’আলা অনেককে বিপথগামী করেন, আবার অনেককে সঠিক পথও প্রদর্শন করেন। তিনি অনুরূপ উপমা দ্বারা অসৎ ব্যক্তিবর্গ ভিন্ন কাকেও বিপথগামী করেন না।
Allah disdains not to use the similitude of things, lowest as well as highest. Those who believe know that it is truth from their Lord; but those who reject Faith say: "What means Allah by this similitude?" By it He causes many to stray, and many He leads into the right path; but He causes not to stray, except those who forsake (the path),-		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
2 অতঃপর তোমরাই পরস্পর খুনাখুনি করছ এবং তোমাদেরই একদলকে তাদের দেশ থেকে বহিস্কার করছ। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে পাপ ও অন্যায়ের মাধ্যমে আক্রমণ করছ। আর যদি তারাই কারও বন্দী হয়ে তোমাদের কাছে আসে, তবে বিনিময় নিয়ে তাদের মুক্ত করছ। অথচ তাদের বহিস্কার করাও তোমাদের জন্য অবৈধ। তবে কি তোমরা গ্রন্থের কিয়দংশ বিশ্বাস কর এবং কিয়দংশ অবিশ্বাস কর? যারা এরূপ করে পার্থিব জীবনে দূগর্তি ছাড়া তাদের আর কোনই পথ নেই। কিয়ামতের দিন তাদের কঠোরতম শাস্তির দিকে পৌঁছে দেয়া হবে। আল্লাহ তোমাদের কাজ-কর্ম সম্পর্কে বে-খবর নন।
After this it is ye, the same people, who slay among yourselves, and banish a party of you from their homes; assist (Their enemies) against them, in guilt and rancour; and if they come to you as captives, ye ransom them, though it was not lawful for you to banish them. Then is it only a part of the Book that ye believe in, and do ye reject the rest? but what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?- and on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous penalty. For Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৮৫)
3 আপনি তাদেরকে জীবনের প্রতি সবার চাইতে, এমনকি মুশরিকদের চাইতেও অধিক লোভী দেখবেন। তাদের প্রত্যেকে কামনা করে, যেন হাজার বছর আয়ু পায়। অথচ এরূপ আয়ু প্রাপ্তি তাদেরকে শাস্তি থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারবে না। আল্লাহ দেখেন যা কিছু তারা করে।
Thou wilt indeed find them, of all people, most greedy of life,-even more than the idolaters: Each one of them wishes He could be given a life of a thousand years: But the grant of such life will not save him from (due) punishment. For Allah sees well all that they do.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৯৬)
4 হে মুমিনগণ! যখন তোমরা কোন নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্যে ঋনের আদান-প্রদান কর, তখন তা লিপিবদ্ধ করে নাও এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে কোন লেখক ন্যায়সঙ্গতভাবে তা লিখে দেবে; লেখক লিখতে অস্বীকার করবে না। আল্লাহ তাকে যেমন শিক্ষা দিয়েছেন, তার উচিত তা লিখে দেয়া। এবং ঋন গ্রহীতা যেন লেখার বিষয় বলে দেয় এবং সে যেন স্বীয় পালনকর্তা আল্লাহকে ভয় করে এবং লেখার মধ্যে বিন্দুমাত্রও বেশ কম না করে। অতঃপর ঋণগ্রহীতা যদি নির্বোধ হয় কিংবা দূর্বল হয় অথবা নিজে লেখার বিষয়বস্তু বলে দিতে অক্ষম হয়, তবে তার অভিভাবক ন্যায়সঙ্গতভাবে লিখাবে। দুজন সাক্ষী কর, তোমাদের পুরুষদের মধ্যে থেকে। যদি দুজন পুরুষ না হয়, তবে একজন পুরুষ ও দুজন মহিলা। ঐ সাক্ষীদের মধ্য থেকে যাদেরকে তোমরা পছন্দ কর যাতে একজন যদি ভুলে যায়, তবে একজন অন্যজনকে স্মরণ করিয়ে দেয়। যখন ডাকা হয়, তখন সাক্ষীদের অস্বীকার করা উচিত নয়। তোমরা এটা লিখতে অলসতা করোনা, তা ছোট হোক কিংবা বড়, নির্দিষ্ট সময় পর্যন্ত। এ লিপিবদ্ধ করণ আল্লাহর কাছে সুবিচারকে অধিক কায়েম রাখে, সাক্ষ্যকে অধিক সুসংহত রাখে এবং তোমাদের সন্দেহে পতিত না হওয়ার পক্ষে অধিক উপযুক্ত। কিন্তু যদি কারবার নগদ হয়, পরস্পর হাতে হাতে আদান-প্রদান কর, তবে তা না লিখলে তোমাদের প্রতি কোন অভিযোগ নেই। তোমরা ক্রয়-বিক্রয়ের সময় সাক্ষী রাখ। কোন লেখক ও সাক্ষীকে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত করো না। যদি তোমরা এরূপ কর, তবে তা তোমাদের পক্ষে পাপের বিষয়। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর তিনি তোমাদেরকে শিক্ষা দেন। আল্লাহ সব কিছু জানেন।
O ye who believe! When ye deal with each other, in transactions involving future obligations in a fixed period of time, reduce them to writing Let a scribe write down faithfully as between the parties: let not the scribe refuse to write: as Allah Has taught him, so let him write. Let him who incurs the liability dictate, but let him fear His Lord Allah, and not diminish aught of what he owes. If they party liable is mentally deficient, or weak, or unable Himself to dictate, Let his guardian dictate faithfully, and get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her. The witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (For evidence). Disdain not to reduce to writing (your contract) for a future period, whether it be small or big: it is juster in the sight of Allah, More suitable as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves but if it be a transaction which ye carry out on the spot among yourselves, there is no blame on you if ye reduce it not to writing. But take witness whenever ye make a commercial contract; and let neither scribe nor witness suffer harm. If ye do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So fear Allah; For it is Good that teaches you. And Allah is well acquainted with all things. If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, let the trustee (faithfully) discharge his trust, and let him Fear his Lord conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it, - his heart is tainted with sin. And Allah knoweth all that ye do.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৮২)
5 মুমিনগন যেন অন্য মুমিনকে ছেড়ে কেন কাফেরকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ না করে। যারা এরূপ করবে আল্লাহর সাথে তাদের কেন সম্পর্ক থাকবে না। তবে যদি তোমরা তাদের পক্ষ থেকে কোন অনিষ্টের আশঙ্কা কর, তবে তাদের সাথে সাবধানতার সাথে থাকবে আল্লাহ তা’আলা তাঁর সম্পর্কে তোমাদের সতর্ক করেছেন। এবং সবাই কে তাঁর কাছে ফিরে যেতে হবে।
Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself; for the final goal is to Allah.		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ২৮)
6 আর যদি তোমরা ভয় কর যে, এতীম মেয়েদের হক যথাথভাবে পুরণ করতে পারবে না, তবে সেসব মেয়েদের মধ্যে থেকে যাদের ভাল লাগে তাদের বিয়ে করে নাও দুই, তিন, কিংবা চারটি পর্যন্ত। আর যদি এরূপ আশঙ্কা কর যে, তাদের মধ্যে ন্যায় সঙ্গত আচরণ বজায় রাখতে পারবে না, তবে, একটিই অথবা তোমাদের অধিকারভুক্ত দাসীদেরকে; এতেই পক্ষপাতিত্বে জড়িত না হওয়ার অধিকতর সম্ভাবনা।
If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৩)
7 আর যে কেউ সীমালঙ্ঘন কিংবা জুলুমের বশবর্তী হয়ে এরূপ করবে, তাকে খুব শীঘ্রই আগুনে নিক্ষেপ করা হবে। এটা আল্লাহর পক্ষে খুবই সহজসাধ্য।
If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah.		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
8 আর তাদের একথা বলার কারণে যে, আমরা মরিয়ম পুত্র ঈসা মসীহকে হত্যা করেছি যিনি ছিলেন আল্লাহর রসূল। অথচ তারা না তাঁকে হত্যা করেছে, আর না শুলীতে চড়িয়েছে, বরং তারা এরূপ ধাঁধায় পতিত হয়েছিল। বস্তুতঃ তারা এ ব্যাপারে নানা রকম কথা বলে, তারা এক্ষেত্রে সন্দেহের মাঝে পড়ে আছে, শুধুমাত্র অনুমান করা ছাড়া তারা এ বিষয়ে কোন খবরই রাখে না। আর নিশ্চয়ই তাঁকে তারা হত্যা করেনি।
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-		 (আন নিসা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৭)
9 আমি আপনার প্রতি অবতীর্ণ করেছি সত্যগ্রন্থ, যা পূর্ববতী গ্রন্থ সমূহের সত্যায়নকারী এবং সেগুলোর বিষয়বস্তুর রক্ষণাবেক্ষণকারী। অতএব, আপনি তাদের পারস্পারিক ব্যাপারাদিতে আল্লাহ যা অবতীর্ণ করেছেন, তদনুযায়ী ফয়সালা করুন এবং আপনার কাছে যে সৎপথ এসেছে, তা ছেড়ে তাদের প্রবৃত্তির অনুসরণ করবেন না। আমি তোমাদের প্রত্যেককে একটি আইন ও পথ দিয়েছি। যদি আল্লাহ চাইতেন, তবে তোমাদের সবাইকে এক উম্মত করে দিতেন, কিন্তু এরূপ করেননি-যাতে তোমাদেরকে যে ধর্ম দিয়েছেন, তাতে তোমাদের পরীক্ষা নেন। অতএব, দৌড়ে কল্যাণকর বিষয়াদি অর্জন কর। তোমাদের সবাইকে আল্লাহর কাছে প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে। অতঃপর তিনি অবহিত করবেন সে বিষয়, যাতে তোমরা মতবিরোধ করতে।
To thee We sent the Scripture in truth, confirming the scripture that came before it, and guarding it in safety: so judge between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging from the Truth that hath come to thee. To each among you have we prescribed a law and an open way. If Allah had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He hath given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to Allah; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute;		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
10 হে রসূল, পৌছে দিন আপনার প্রতিপালকের পক্ষ থেকে আপনার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে। আর যদি আপনি এরূপ না করেন, তবে আপনি তাঁর পয়গাম কিছুই পৌছালেন না। আল্লাহ আপনাকে মানুষের কাছ থেকে রক্ষা করবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ কাফেরদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেন না।
O Messenger! proclaim the (message) which hath been sent to thee from thy Lord. If thou didst not, thou wouldst not have fulfilled and proclaimed His mission. And Allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief). For Allah guideth not those who reject Faith.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৬৭)
11 এরূপ কথা বার্তা তোমাদের পুর্বে এক সম্প্রদায় জিজ্ঞেস করেছিল। এর পর তারা এসব বিষয়ে অবিশ্বাসী হয়ে গেল।
Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১০২)
12 যখন হাওয়ারীরা বললঃ হে মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসা, আপনার পালনকর্তা কি এরূপ করতে পারেন যে, আমাদের জন্যে আকাশ থেকে খাদ্যভর্তি খাঞ্চা অবতরণ করে দেবেন? তিনি বললেনঃ যদি তোমরা ঈমানদার হও, তবে আল্লাহকে ভয় কর।
Behold! the disciples, said: "O Jesus the son of Mary! can thy Lord send down to us a table set (with viands) from heaven?" Said Jesus: "Fear Allah, if ye have faith."		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১১২)
13 আপনি জিজ্ঞেস করুনঃ সর্ববৃহৎ সাক্ষ্যদাতা কে ? বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ আমার ও তোমাদের মধ্যে সাক্ষী। আমার প্রতি এ কোরআন অবর্তীর্ণ হয়েছে-যাতে আমি তোমাদেরকে এবং যাদের কাছে এ কোরআন পৌঁছে সবাইকে ভীতি প্রদর্শন করি। তোমরা কি সাক্ষ্য দাও যে, আল্লাহর সাথে অন্যান্য উপাস্যও রয়েছে ? আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমি এরূপ সাক্ষ্য দেব না। বলে দিনঃ তিনিই একমাত্র উপাস্য; আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের শিরক থেকে মুক্ত।
Say: "What thing is most weighty in evidence?" Say: "Allah is witness between me and you; This Qur'an hath been revealed to me by inspiration, that I may warn you and all whom it reaches. Can ye possibly bear witness that besides Allah there is another Allah?" Say: "Nay! I cannot bear witness!" Say: "But in truth He is the one Allah, and I truly am innocent of (your blasphemy of) joining others with Him."		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
14 আমি এরূপ ভাবেই ইব্রাহীমকে নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের অত্যাশ্চর্য বস্তুসমূহ দেখাতে লাগলাম-যাতে সে দৃঢ় বিশ্বাসী হয়ে যায়।
So also did We show Abraham the power and the laws of the heavens and the earth, that he might (with understanding) have certitude.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৭৫)
15 বলে দাও, যারা এরূপ করে তারা অব্যাহতি পায় না।
Say: "Those who invent a lie against Allah will never prosper."		 (ইউনুস:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
16 তারা বললঃ এটা কল্পনাপ্রসূত স্বপ্ন। এরূপ স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যা আমাদের জানা নেই।
They said: "A confused medley of dreams: and we are not skilled in the interpretation of dreams."		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
17 এমনকি যখন পয়গম্বরগণ নৈরাশ্যে পতিত হয়ে যেতেন, এমনকি এরূপ ধারণা করতে শুরু করতেন যে, তাদের অনুমান বুঝি মিথ্যায় পরিণত হওয়ার উপক্রম হয়েছিল, তখন তাদের কাছে আমার সাহায্য পৌছে। অতঃপর আমি যাদের চেয়েছি তারা উদ্ধার পেয়েছে। আমার শাস্তি অপরাধী সম্প্রদায় থেকে প্রতিহত হয় না।
(Respite will be granted) until, when the messengers give up hope (of their people) and (come to) think that they were treated as liars, there reaches them Our help, and those whom We will are delivered into safety. But never will be warded off our punishment from those who are in sin.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ১১০)
18 জিজ্ঞেস করুন নভোমন্ডল ও ভুমন্ডলের পালনকর্তা কে? বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ! বলুনঃ তবে কি তোমরা আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন অভিভাবক স্থির করেছ, যারা নিজেদের ভাল-মন্দের ও মালিক নয়? বলুনঃ অন্ধ চক্ষুষ্মান কি সমান হয়? অথবা কোথাও কি অন্ধকার ও আলো সমান হয়। তবে কি তারা আল্লাহর জন্য এমন অংশীদার স্থির করেছে যে, তারা কিছু সৃষ্টি করেছে, যেমন সৃষ্টি করেছেন আল্লাহ? অতঃপর তাদের সৃষ্টি এরূপ বিভ্রান্তি ঘটিয়েছে? বলুনঃ আল্লাহই প্রত্যেক বস্তুর স্রষ্টা এবং তিনি একক, পরাক্রমশালী।
Say: "Who is the Lord and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "(It is) Allah." Say: "Do ye then take (for worship) protectors other than Him, such as have no power either for good or for harm to themselves?" Say: "Are the blind equal with those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?" Or do they assign to Allah partners who have created (anything) as He has created, so that the creation seemed to them similar? Say: "Allah is the Creator of all things: He is the One, the Supreme and Irresistible."		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ১৬)
19 এবং যাদেরকে আমি গ্রন্থ দিয়েছি, তারা আপনার প্রতি যা অবতীর্ণ হয়েছে, তজ্জন্যে আনন্দিত হয় এবং কোন কোন দল এর কোন কোন বিষয় অস্বীকার করে। বলুন, আমাকে এরূপ আদেশই দেয়া হয়েছে যে, আমি আল্লাহর এবাদত করি। এবং তাঁর সাথে অংশীদার না করি। আমি তাঁর দিকেই দাওয়াত দেই এবং তাঁর কাছেই আমার প্রত্যাবর্তন।
Those to whom We have given the Book rejoice at what hath been revealed unto thee: but there are among the clans those who reject a part thereof. Say: "I am commanded to worship Allah, and not to join partners with Him. Unto Him do I call, and unto Him is my return."		 (রা'দ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৬)
20 আপনার পূর্বে আমি যত রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি, তাদের ক্ষেত্রেও এরূপ নিয়ম ছিল। আপনি আমার নিয়মের কোন ব্যতিক্রম পাবেন না।
(This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৭৭)
21 এরূপ ক্ষেত্রে সব অধিকার সত্য আল্লাহর। তারই পুরস্কার উত্তম এবং তারই প্রদত্ত প্রতিদান শ্রেষ্ঠ।
There, the (only) protection comes from Allah, the True One. He is the Best to reward, and the Best to give success.		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
22 তারা বললঃ আমাদের উপাস্যদের সাথে এরূপ ব্যবহার কে করল? সে তো নিশ্চয়ই কোন জালিম।
They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be some man of impiety!"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
23 তারা বললঃ হে ইব্রাহীম তুমিই কি আমাদের উপাস্যদের সাথে এরূপ ব্যবহার করেছ?
They said, "Art thou the one that did this with our gods, O Abraham?"		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৬২)
24 তখন তার সম্প্রদায়ের কাফের-প্রধানরা বলেছিলঃ এ তো তোমাদের মতই একজন মানুষ বৈ নয়। সে তোমাদের উপর নেতৃত্ব করতে চায়। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে ফেরেশতাই নাযিল করতেন। আমরা আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মধ্যে এরূপ কথা শুনিনি।
The chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "He is no more than a man like yourselves: his wish is to assert his superiority over you: if Allah had wished (to send messengers), He could have sent down angels; never did we hear such a thing (as he says), among our ancestors of old."		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
25 এবং যারা তাদের স্ত্রীদের প্রতি অপবাদ আরোপ করে এবং তারা নিজেরা ছাড়া তাদের কোন সাক্ষী নেই, এরূপ ব্যক্তির সাক্ষ্য এভাবে হবে যে, সে আল্লাহর কসম খেয়ে চারবার সাক্ষ্য দেবে যে, সে অবশ্যই সত্যবাদী।
And for those who launch a charge against their spouses, and have (in support) no evidence but their own,- their solitary evidence (can be received) if they bear witness four times (with an oath) by Allah that they are solemnly telling the truth;		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৬)
26 এরূপই হয়েছিল এবং বনী-ইসলাঈলকে করে দিলাম এসবের মালিক।
Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৯)
27 তারা বললঃ না, তবে আমরা আমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে পেয়েছি, তারা এরূপই করত।
They said: "Nay, but we found our fathers doing thus (what we do)."		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ৭৪)
28 সে বলল, রাজা বাদশারা যখন কোন জনপদে প্রবেশ করে, তখন তাকে বিপর্যস্ত করে দেয় এবং সেখানকার সম্ভ্রান্ত ব্যক্তিবর্গকে অপদস্থ করে। তারাও এরূপই করবে।
She said: "Kings, when they enter a country, despoil it, and make the noblest of its people its meanest thus do they behave.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৩৪)
29 অতঃপর যখন বিলকীস এসে গেল, তখন তাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করা হল, তোমার সিংহাসন কি এরূপই? সে বলল, মনে হয় এটা সেটাই। আমরা পূর্বেই সমস্ত অবগত হয়েছি এবং আমরা আজ্ঞাবহও হয়ে গেছি।
So when she arrived, she was asked, "Is this thy throne?" She said, "It was just like this; and knowledge was bestowed on us in advance of this, and we have submitted to Allah (in Islam)."		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
30 যে সৎকর্ম নিয়ে আসবে, সে তদপেক্ষা উত্তম ফল পাবে এবং যে মন্দ কর্ম নিয়ে আসবে, এরূপ মন্দ কর্মীরা সে মন্দ কর্ম পরিমানেই প্রতিফল পাবে।
If any does good, the reward to him is better than his deed; but if any does evil, the doers of evil are only punished (to the extent) of their deeds.		 (আল কাসাস:

31 আপনি তো এর পূর্বে কোন কিতাব পাঠ করেননি এবং স্বীয় দক্ষিণ হস্ত দ্বারা কোন কিতাব লিখেননি। এরূপ হলে মিথ্যাবাদীরা অবশ্যই সন্দেহ পোষণ করত।
And thou wast not (able) to recite a Book before this (Book came), nor art thou (able) to transcribe it with thy right hand: In that case, indeed, would the talkers of vanities have doubted.		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
32 তাদের ও তাদের বাসনার মধ্যে অন্তরাল হয়ে গেছে, যেমন-তাদের সতীর্থদের সাথেও এরূপ করা হয়েছে, যারা তাদের পূর্বে ছিল। তারা ছিল বিভ্রান্তিকর সন্দেহে পতিত।
And between them and their desires, is placed a barrier, as was done in the past with their partisans: for they were indeed in suspicious (disquieting) doubt.		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
33 এরূপ করলে আমি প্রকাশ্য পথভ্রষ্টতায় পতিত হব।
"I would indeed, if I were to do so, be in manifest Error.		 (ইয়াসীন:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
34 যে ব্যক্তি রাত্রিকালে সেজদার মাধ্যমে অথবা দাঁড়িয়ে এবাদত করে, পরকালের আশংকা রাখে এবং তার পালনকর্তার রহমত প্রত্যাশা করে, সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ করে না; বলুন, যারা জানে এবং যারা জানে না; তারা কি সমান হতে পারে? চিন্তা-ভাবনা কেবল তারাই করে, যারা বুদ্ধিমান।
Is one who worships devoutly during the hour of the night prostrating himself or standing (in adoration), who takes heed of the Hereafter, and who places his hope in the Mercy of his Lord - (like one who does not)? Say: "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know? It is those who are endued with understanding that receive admonition.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
35 আল্লাহ যার বক্ষ ইসলামের জন্যে উম্মুক্ত করে দিয়েছেন, অতঃপর সে তার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে আগত আলোর মাঝে রয়েছে। (সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়) যাদের অন্তর আল্লাহ স্মরণের ব্যাপারে কঠোর, তাদের জন্যে দূর্ভোগ। তারা সুস্পষ্ঠ গোমরাহীতে রয়েছে।
Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so that he has received Enlightenment from Allah, (no better than one hard-hearted)? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against celebrating the praises of Allah! they are manifestly wandering (in error)!		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
36 যে ব্যক্তি কেয়ামতের দিন তার মুখ দ্বারা অশুভ আযাব ঠেকাবে এবং এরূপ জালেমদেরকে বলা হবে, তোমরা যা করতে তার স্বাদ আস্বাদন কর,-সে কি তার সমান, যে এরূপ নয়?
Is, then, one who has to fear the brunt of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment (and receive it) on his face, (like one guarded therefrom)? It will be said to the wrong-doers: "Taste ye (the fruits of) what ye earned!"		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
37 এরূপই হবে এবং আমি তাদেরকে আনতলোচনা স্ত্রী দেব।
So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes.		 (আদ দোখান:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
38 আমি মানুষকে তার পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব্যবহারের আদেশ দিয়েছি। তার জননী তাকে কষ্টসহকারে গর্ভে ধারণ করেছে এবং কষ্টসহকারে প্রসব করেছে। তাকে গর্ভে ধারণ করতে ও তার স্তন্য ছাড়তে লেগেছে ত্রিশ মাস। অবশেষে সে যখন শক্তি-সামর্থে?480; বয়সে ও চল্লিশ বছরে পৌছেছে, তখন বলতে লাগল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আমাকে এরূপ ভাগ্য দান কর, যাতে আমি তোমার নেয়ামতের শোকর করি, যা তুমি দান করেছ আমাকে ও আমার পিতা-মাতাকে এবং যাতে আমি তোমার পছন্দনীয় সৎকাজ করি। আমার সন্তানদেরকে সৎকর্মপরায়ণ কর, আমি তোমার প্রতি তওবা করলাম এবং আমি আজ্ঞাবহদের অন্যতম।
We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) to his weaning is (a period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches the age of full strength and attains forty years, he says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou has bestowed upon me, and upon both my parents, and that I may work righteousness such as Thou mayest approve; and be gracious to me in my issue. Truly have I turned to Thee and truly do I bow (to Thee) in Islam."		 (আল আহক্বাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
39 তারা কি পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ করেনি অতঃপর দেখেনি যে, তাদের পূর্ববর্তীদের পরিণাম কি হয়েছে? আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছেন এবং কাফেরদের অবস্থা এরূপই হবে।
Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah.		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
40 তোমরা যখন যুদ্ধলব্ধ ধন-সম্পদ সংগ্রহের জন্য যাবে, তখন যারা পশ্চাতে থেকে গিয়েছিল, তারা বলবেঃ আমাদেরকেও তোমাদের সঙ্গে যেতে দাও। তারা আল্লাহর কালাম পরিবর্তন করতে চায়। বলুনঃ তোমরা কখনও আমাদের সঙ্গে যেতে পারবে না। আল্লাহ পূর্ব থেকেই এরূপ বলে দিয়েছেন। তারা বলবেঃ বরং তোমরা আমাদের প্রতি বিদ্বেষ পোষণ করছ। পরন্তু তারা সামান্যই বোঝে।
Those who lagged behind (will say), when ye (are free to) march and take booty (in war): "Permit us to follow you." They wish to change Allah's decree: Say: "Not thus will ye follow us: Allah has already declared (this) beforehand": then they will say, "But ye are jealous of us." Nay, but little do they understand (such things).		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
41 মুহাম্মদ আল্লাহর রসূল এবং তাঁর সহচরগণ কাফেরদের প্রতি কঠোর, নিজেদের মধ্যে পরস্পর সহানুভূতিশীল। আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ ও সন্তুষ্টি কামনায় আপনি তাদেরকে রুকু ও সেজদারত দেখবেন। তাদের মুখমন্ডলে রয়েছে সেজদার চিহ্ন । তওরাতে তাদের অবস্থা এরূপ এবং ইঞ্জিলে তাদের অবস্থা যেমন একটি চারা গাছ যা থেকে নির্গত হয় কিশলয়, অতঃপর তা শক্ত ও মজবুত হয় এবং কান্ডের উপর দাঁড়ায় দৃঢ়ভাবে-চাষীকে আনন্দে অভিভুত করে-যাতে আল্লাহ তাদের দ্বারা কাফেরদের অন্তর্জালা সৃষ্টি করেন। তাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে এবং সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ক্ষমা ও মহাপুরস্কারের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন।
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Taurat; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward.		 (আল ফাতহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
42 তারা বললঃ তোমার পালনকর্তা এরূপই বলেছেন। নিশ্চয় তিনি প্রজ্ঞাময়, সর্বজ্ঞ।
They said, "Even so has thy Lord spoken: and He is full of Wisdom and Knowledge."		 (আয-যারিয়াত:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
43 তোমাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করতে কিসে বাধা দেয়, যখন আল্লাহই নভোমন্ডল ও ভূমন্ডলের উত্তরাধিকারী? তোমাদের মধ্যে যে মক্কা বিজয়ের পূর্বে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে, সে সমান নয়। এরূপ লোকদের মর্যদা বড় তাদের অপেক্ষা, যার পরে ব্যয় করেছে ও জেহাদ করেছে। তবে আল্লাহ উভয়কে কল্যাণের ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন। তোমরা যা কর, আল্লাহ সে সম্পর্কে সম্যক জ্ঞাত।
And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১০)
44 আমাদের কেউ কেউ সৎকর্মপরায়ণ এবং কেউ কেউ এরূপ নয়। আমরা ছিলাম বিভিন্ন পথে বিভক্ত।
'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary: we follow divergent paths.		 (আল জিন:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
45 অপরাধীদের সাথে আমি এরূপই করে থাকি।
Thus do We deal with men of sin.		 (আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
46 কখনও এরূপ করবেন না, এটা উপদেশবানী।
By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction:		 (আবাসা:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
47 মানুষ এরূপ যে, যখন তার পালনকর্তা তাকে পরীক্ষা করেন, অতঃপর সম্মান ও অনুগ্রহ দান করেন, তখন বলে, আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে সম্মান দান করেছেন।
Now, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me."		 (আল ফজর:
