নং আয়াত সূরা
1 সুস্পষ্ট মু’জেযাসহ মূসা তোমাদের কাছে এসেছেন। এরপর তার অনুপস্থিতিতে তোমরা গোবৎস বানিয়েছ। বাস্তবিকই তোমরা অত্যাচারী।
There came to you Moses with clear (Signs); yet ye worshipped the calf (Even) after that, and ye did behave wrongfully.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ৯২)
2 হে ঈমানদারগন! তোমাদের প্রতি নিহতদের ব্যাপারে কেসাস গ্রহণ করা বিধিবদ্ধ করা হয়েছে। স্বাধীন ব্যক্তি স্বাধীন ব্যক্তির বদলায়, দাস দাসের বদলায় এবং নারী নারীর বদলায়। অতঃপর তার ভাইয়ের তরফ থেকে যদি কাউকে কিছুটা মাফ করে দেয়া হয়, তবে প্রচলিত নিয়মের অনুসরণ করবে এবং ভালভাবে তাকে তা প্রদান করতে হবে। এটা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার তরফ থেকে সহজ এবং বিশেষ অনুগ্রহ। এরপরও যে ব্যাক্তি বাড়াবাড়ি করে, তার জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
O ye who believe! the law of equality is prescribed to you in cases of murder: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the woman for the woman. But if any remission is made by the brother of the slain, then grant any reasonable demand, and compensate him with handsome gratitude, this is a concession and a Mercy from your Lord. After this whoever exceeds the limits shall be in grave penalty.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭৮)
3 যারা স্বীয় ধন সম্পদ আল্লাহর রাস্তায় ব্যয় করে, এরপর ব্যয় করার পর সে অনুগ্রহের কথা প্রকাশ করে না এবং কষ্টও দেয় না, তাদেরই জন্যে তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে রয়েছে পুরস্কার এবং তাদের কোন আশংকা নেই, তারা চিন্তিতও হবে না।
Those who spend their substance in the cause of Allah, and follow not up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury,-for them their reward is with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.		 (আল বাকারা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬২)
4 এটা হলো সামান্য ফায়দা-এরপর তাদের ঠিকানা হবে দোযখ। আর সেটি হলো অতি নিকৃষ্ট অবস্থান।
Little is it for enjoyment: Their ultimate abode is Hell: what an evil bed (To lie on)!		 (আল ইমরান:
আয়াতঃ ১৯৭)
5 আল্লাহ বনী-ইসরাঈলের কাছ থেকে অঙ্গীকার নিয়েছিলেন এবং আমি তাদের মধ্য থেকে বার জন সর্দার নিযুক্ত করেছিলাম। আল্লাহ বলে দিলেনঃ আমি তোমাদের সঙ্গে আছি। যদি তোমরা নামায প্রতিষ্ঠিত কর, যাকাত দিতে থাক, আমার পয়গম্বরদের প্রতি বিশ্বাস রাখ, তাঁদের সাহায্য কর এবং আল্লাহকে উত্তম পন্থায় ঋন দিতে থাক, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তোমাদের গোনাহ দুর করে দিব এবং অবশ্যই তোমাদেরকে উদ্যান সমূহে প্রবিষ্ট করব, যেগুলোর তলদেশ দিয়ে নিঝরিনীসমূহ প্রবাহিত হয়। অতঃপর তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে যে ব্যক্তি এরপরও কাফের হয়, সে নিশ্চিতই সরল পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়ে পড়ে।
Allah did aforetime take a covenant from the Children of Israel, and we appointed twelve captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular prayers, practise regular charity, believe in my messengers, honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path or rectitude."		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
6 এ কারণেই আমি বনী-ইসলাঈলের প্রতি লিখে দিয়েছি যে, যে কেউ প্রাণের বিনিময়ে প্রাণ অথবাপৃথিবীতে অনর্থ সৃষ্টি করা ছাড়া কাউকে হত্যা করে সে যেন সব মানুষকেই হত্যা করে। এবং যে কারও জীবন রক্ষা করে, সে যেন সবার জীবন রক্ষা করে। তাদের কাছে আমার পয়গম্বরগণ প্রকাশ্য নিদর্শনাবলী নিয়ে এসেছেন। বস্তুতঃ এরপরও তাদের অনেক লোক পৃথিবীতে সীমাতিক্রম করে।
On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৩২)
7 তারা ধারণা করেছে যে, কোন অনিষ্ট হবে না। ফলে তারা আরও অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে গেল। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদের তওবা কবুল করলেন। এরপরও তাদের অধিকাংশই অন্ধ ও বধির হয়ে রইল। আল্লাহ দেখেন তারা যা কিছু করে।
They thought there would be no trial (or punishment); so they became blind and deaf; yet Allah (in mercy) turned to them; yet again many of them became blind and deaf. But Allah sees well all that they do.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
8 যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম করেছে, তারা পূর্বে যা ভক্ষণ করেছে, সে জন্য তাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই যখন ভবিষ্যতের জন্যে সংযত হয়েছে, বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছে এবং সৎকর্ম সম্পাদন করেছে। এরপর সংযত থাকে এবং বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে। এরপর সংযত থাকে এবং সৎকর্ম করে। আল্লাহ সৎকর্মীদেরকে ভালবাসেন।
On those who believe and do deeds of righteousness there is no blame for what they ate (in the past), when they guard themselves from evil, and believe, and do deeds of righteousness,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and believe,- (or) again, guard themselves from evil and do good. For Allah loveth those who do good.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৩)
9 হে মুমিনগণ, আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে এমন কিছু শিকারের মাধ্যমে পরীক্ষা করবেন, যে শিকার পর্যন্ত তোমাদের হাত ও বর্শা সহজেই পৌছতে পারবে-যাতে আল্লাহ বুঝতে পারেন যে, কে তাকে অদৃশ্যভাবে ভয়করে। অতএব, যে ব্যক্তি এরপর সীমা অতিক্রম করবে, তার জন্য যন্ত্রনাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে।
O ye who believe! Allah doth but make a trial of you in a little matter of game well within reach of game well within reach of your hands and your lances, that He may test who feareth him unseen: any who transgress thereafter, will have a grievous penalty.		 (আল মায়িদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৯৪)
10 আর যখন তারা আপনার কাছে আসবে যারা আমার নিদর্শনসমূহে বিশ্বাস করে, তখন আপনি বলে দিনঃ তোমাদের উপর শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক। তোমাদের পালনকর্তা রহমত করা নিজ দায়িত্বে লিখে নিয়েছেন যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে যে কেউ অজ্ঞতাবশতঃ কোন মন্দ কাজ করে, অনন্তর এরপরে তওবা করে নেয় এবং সৎ হয়ে যায়, তবে তিনি অত্যন্ত ক্ষমাশীল, করুণাময়।
When those come to thee who believe in Our signs, Say: "Peace be on you: Your Lord hath inscribed for Himself (the rule of) mercy: verily, if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter repented, and amend (his conduct), lo! He is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
11 আপনি বলে দিনঃ আমরা কি আল্লাহ ব্যতীত এমন বস্তুকে আহবান করব, যে আমাদের উপকার করতে পারে না এবং ক্ষতিও করতে পারে না এবং আমরা কি পশ্চাৎপদে ফিরে যাব, এরপর যে, আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে পথ প্রদর্শন করেছেন? ঐ ব্যক্তির মত, যাকে শয়তানরা বনভুমিতে বিপথগামী করে দিয়েছে-সে উদভ্রান্ত হয়ে ঘোরাফেরা করছে। তার সহচররা তাকে পথের দিকে ডেকে বলছেঃ আস, আমাদের কাছে। আপনি বলে দিনঃ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর পথই সুপথ। আমরা আদিষ্ট হয়েছি যাতে স্বীয় পালনকর্তা আজ্ঞাবহ হয়ে যাই।
Say: "Shall we indeed call on others besides Allah,- things that can do us neither good nor harm,- and turn on our heels after receiving guidance from Allah? - like one whom the evil ones have made into a fool, wandering bewildered through the earth, his friends calling, come to us', (vainly) guiding him to the path." Say: "Allah's guidance is the (only) guidance, and we have been directed to submit ourselves to the Lord of the worlds;-		 (আল আনআম:
আয়াতঃ ৭১)
12 আর আমি তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি, এরপর আকার-অবয়ব, তৈরী করেছি। অতঃপর আমি ফেরেশতাদেরকে বলছি-আদমকে সেজদা কর তখন সবাই সেজদা করেছে, কিন্তু ইবলীস সে সেজদাকারীদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত ছিল না।
It is We Who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels prostrate to Adam, and they prostrate; not so Iblis; He refused to be of those who prostrate.		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
13 এরপর তাদের কাছে আসব তাদের সামনের দিক থেকে, পেছন দিক থেকে, ডান দিক থেকে এবং বাম দিক থেকে। আপনি তাদের অধিকাংশকে কৃতজ্ঞ পাবেন না।
"Then will I assault them from before them and behind them, from their right and their left: Nor wilt thou find, in most of them, gratitude (for thy mercies)."		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
14 তারা কি প্রত্যক্ষ করেনি আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর রাজ্য সম্পর্কে এবং যা কিছু সৃষ্টি করেছেন আল্লাহ তা’আলা বস্তু সামগ্রী থেকে এবং এ ব্যাপারে যে, তাদের সাথে কৃত ওয়াদার সময় নিকটবর্তী হয়ে এসেছে? বস্তুতঃ এরপর কিসের উপর ঈমান আনবে?
Do they see nothing in the government of the heavens and the earth and all that Allah hath created? (Do they not see) that it may well be that their terms is nigh drawing to an end? In what message after this will they then believe?		 (আল আ'রাফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৮৫)
15 এরপর আল্লাহ যাদের প্রতি ইচ্ছা তওবার তওফীক দেবেন, আর আল্লাহ অতীব ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
Again will Allah, after this, turn (in mercy) to whom He will: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
16 তারা কি লক্ষ্য করে না, প্রতি বছর তারা দু’একবার বিপর্যস্ত হচ্ছে, অথচ, তারা এরপরও তওবা করে না কিংবা উপদেশ গ্রহণ করে না।
See they not that they are tried every year once or twice? Yet they turn not in repentance, and they take no heed.		 (আত তাওবাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১২৬)
17 হত্যা কর ইউসুফকে কিংবা ফেলে আস তাকে অন্য কোন স্থানে। এতে শুধু তোমাদের প্রতিই তোমাদের পিতার মনোযোগ নিবিষ্ট হবে এবং এরপর তোমরা যোগ্য বিবেচিত হয়ে থাকবে।
"Slay ye Joseph or cast him out to some (unknown) land, that so the favour of your father may be given to you alone: (there will be time enough) for you to be righteous after that!"		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৯)
18 এবং এরপরে আসবে দূর্ভিক্ষের সাত বছর; তোমরা এ দিনের জন্যে যা রেখেছিলে, তা খেয়ে যাবে, কিন্তু অল্প পরিমাণ ব্যতীত, যা তোমরা তুলে রাখবে।
"Then will come after that (period) seven dreadful (years), which will devour what ye shall have laid by in advance for them,- (all) except a little which ye shall have (specially) guarded.		 (ইউসূফ:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
19 আমি বৃষ্টিগর্ভ বায়ু পরিচালনা করি অতঃপর আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করি, এরপর তোমাদেরকে তা পান করাই। বস্তুতঃ তোমাদের কাছে এর ভান্ডার নেই।
And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores.		 (হিজর:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
20 নিশ্চয় চক্রান্ত করেছে তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরা, অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাদের চক্রান্তের ইমারতের ভিত্তিমূলে আঘাত করেছিলেন। এরপর উপর থেকে তাদের মাথায় ছাদ ধ্বসে পড়ে গেছে এবং তাদের উপর আযাব এসেছে যেখান থেকে তাদের ধারণা ছিল না।
Those before them did also plot (against Allah's Way): but Allah took their structures from their foundations, and the roof fell down on them from above; and the Wrath seized them from directions they did not perceive.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
21 এরপর যখন আল্লাহ তোমাদের কষ্ট দুরীভূত করে দেন, তখনই তোমাদের একদল স্বীয় পালনকর্তার সাথে অংশীদার সাব্যস্ত করতে থাকে।
Yet, when He removes the distress from you, behold! some of you turn to other gods to join with their Lord-		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
22 এরপর সর্বপ্রকার ফল থেকে ভক্ষণ কর এবং আপন পালনকর্তার উম্মুক্ত পথ সমূহে চলমান হও। তার পেট থেকে বিভিন্ন রঙে পানীয় নির্গত হয়। তাতে মানুষের জন্যে রয়েছে রোগের প্রতিকার। নিশ্চয় এতে চিন্তাশীল সম্প্রদায়ের জন্যে নিদর্শন রয়েছে।
Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a Sign for those who give thought.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৬৯)
23 আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন এরপর তোমাদের মৃত্যুদান করেন। তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ পৌছে যায় জরাগ্রস্ত অকর্মন্য বয়সে, ফলে যা কিছু তারা জানত সে সম্পর্কে তারা সজ্ঞান থাকবে না। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সু-বিজ্ঞ সর্বশক্তিমান।
It is Allah who creates you and takes your souls at death; and of you there are some who are sent back to a feeble age, so that they know nothing after having known (much): for Allah is All-Knowing, All-Powerful.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৭০)
24 তারা আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ চিনে, এরপর অস্বীকার করে এবং তাদের অধিকাংশই অকৃতজ্ঞ।
They recognise the favours of Allah; then they deny them; and most of them are (creatures) ungrateful.		 (নাহল:
আয়াতঃ ৮৩)
25 তোমরা যদি ভাল কর, তবে নিজেদেরই ভাল করবে এবং যদি মন্দ কর তবে তাও নিজেদের জন্যেই। এরপর যখন দ্বিতীয় সে সময়টি এল, তখন অন্য বান্দাদেরকে প্রেরণ করলাম, যাতে তোমাদের মুখমন্ডল বিকৃত করে দেয়, আর মসজিদে ঢুকে পড়ে যেমন প্রথমবার ঢুকেছিল এবং যেখানেই জয়ী হয়, সেখানেই পুরোপুরি ধ্বংসযজ্ঞ চালায়।
If ye did well, ye did well for yourselves; if ye did evil, (ye did it) against yourselves. So when the second of the warnings came to pass, (We permitted your enemies) to disfigure your faces, and to enter your Temple as they had entered it before, and to visit with destruction all that fell into their power.		 (বনী ইসরাঈল:
আয়াতঃ ৭)
26 মূসা বললেনঃ এরপর যদি আমি আপনাকে কোন বিষয়ে প্রশ্ন করি, তবে আপনি আমাকে সাথে রাখবেন না। আপনি আমার পক্ষ থেকে অভিযোগ মুক্ত হয়ে গেছেন।
(Moses) said: "If ever I ask thee about anything after this, keep me not in thy company: then wouldst thou have received (full) excuse from my side."		 (কাহফ:
আয়াতঃ ৭৬)
27 এরপর তার পালনকর্তা তাকে মনোনীত করলেন, তার প্রতি মনোযোগী হলেন এবং তাকে সুপথে আনয়ন করলেন।
But his Lord chose him (for His Grace): He turned to him, and gave him Guidance.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১২২)
28 তিনি বললেনঃ তোমরা উভয়েই এখান থেকে এক সঙ্গে নেমে যাও। তোমরা একে অপরের শত্রু। এরপর যদি আমার পক্ষ থেকে তোমাদের কাছে হেদায়েত আসে, তখন যে আমার বর্ণিত পথ অনুসরণ করবে, সে পথভ্রষ্ঠ হবে না এবং কষ্টে পতিত হবে না।
He said: "Get ye down, both of you,- all together, from the Garden, with enmity one to another: but if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from Me, whosoever follows My Guidance, will not lose his way, nor fall into misery.		 (ত্বোয়া-হা:
আয়াতঃ ১২৩)
29 কাফেররা কি ভেবে দেখে না যে, আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর মুখ বন্ধ ছিল, অতঃপর আমি উভয়কে খুলে দিলাম এবং প্রাণবন্ত সবকিছু আমি পানি থেকে সৃষ্টি করলাম। এরপরও কি তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে না?
Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৩০)
30 বরং আমি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের বাপ-দাদাকে ভোগসম্বার দিয়েছিলাম, এমনকি তাদের আয়ুস্কালও দীর্ঘ হয়েছিল। তারা কি দেখে না যে, আমি তাদের দেশকে চতুর্দিক থেকে হ্রাস করে আনছি। এরপরও কি তারা বিজয়ী হবে?
Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?		 (আম্বিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
31 হে লোকসকল! যদি তোমরা পুনরুত্থানের ব্যাপারে সন্দিগ্ধ হও, তবে (ভেবে দেখ-) আমি তোমাদেরকে মৃত্তিকা থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছি। এরপর বীর্য থেকে, এরপর জমাট রক্ত থেকে, এরপর পূর্ণাকৃতিবিশিষ্ট ও অপূর্ণাকৃতিবিশিষ্ট মাংসপিন্ড থেকে, তোমাদের কাছে ব্যক্ত করার জন্যে। আর আমি এক নির্দিষ্ট কালের জন্যে মাতৃগর্ভে যা ইচ্ছা রেখে দেই, এরপর আমি তোমাদেরকে শিশু অবস্থায় বের করি; তারপর যাতে তোমরা যৌবনে পদার্পণ কর। তোমাদের মধ্যে কেউ কেউ মৃত্যুমুখে পতিত হয় এবং তোমাদের মধ্যে কাউকে নিষ্কর্মা বয়স পর্যন্ত পৌছানো হয়, যাতে সে জানার পর জ্ঞাত বিষয় সম্পর্কে সজ্ঞান থাকে না। তুমি ভূমিকে পতিত দেখতে পাও, অতঃপর আমি যখন তাতে বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করি, তখন তা সতেজ ও স্ফীত হয়ে যায় এবং সর্বপ্রকার সুদৃশ্য উদ্ভিদ উৎপন্ন করে।
O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much), and (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs).		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
32 সে ধারণা করে যে, আল্লাহ কখনই ইহকালে ও পরকালে রাসূলকে সাহায্য করবেন না, সে একটি রশি আকাশ পর্যন্ত ঝুলিয়ে নিক; এরপর কেটে দিক; অতঃপর দেখুক তার এই কৌশল তার আক্রোশ দূর করে কিনা।
If any think that Allah will not help him (His Messenger) in this world and the Hereafter, let him stretch out a rope to the ceiling and cut (himself) off: then let him see whether his plan will remove that which enrages (him)!		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
33 এরপর তারা যেন দৈহিক ময়লা দূর করে দেয়, তাদের মানত পূর্ণ করে এবং এই সুসংরক্ষিত গৃহের তাওয়াফ করে।
"Then let them complete the rites prescribed for them, perform their vows, and (again) circumambulate the Ancient House."		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ২৯)
34 এবং মাদইয়ানের অধিবাসীরা এবং মিথ্যাবাদী বলা হয়েছিল মূসাকেও। অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে সুযোগ দিয়েছিলাম এরপর তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছিলাম অতএব কি ভীষণ ছিল আমাকে অস্বীকৃতির পরিণাম।
And the Companions of the Madyan People; and Moses was rejected (in the same way). But I granted respite to the Unbelievers, and (only) after that did I punish them: but how (terrible) was my rejection (of them)!		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
35 এবং আমি কত জনপদকে অবকাশ দিয়েছি এমতাবস্থায় যে, তারা গোনাহগার ছিল। এরপর তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছি এবং আমার কাছেই প্রত্যাবর্তন করতে হবে।
And to how many populations did I give respite, which were given to wrong-doing? in the end I punished them. To me is the destination (of all).		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
36 আমি আপনার পূর্বে যে সমস্ত রাসূল ও নবী প্রেরণ করেছি, তারা যখনই কিছু কল্পনা করেছে, তখনই শয়তান তাদের কল্পনায় কিছু মিশ্রণ করে দিয়েছে। অতঃপর আল্লাহ দূর করে দেন শয়তান যা মিশ্রণ করে। এরপর আল্লাহ তাঁর আয়াতসমূহকে সু-প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেন এবং আল্লাহ জ্ঞানময়, প্রজ্ঞাময়।
Never did We send a messenger or a prophet before thee, but, when he framed a desire, Satan threw some (vanity) into his desire: but Allah will cancel anything (vain) that Satan throws in, and Allah will confirm (and establish) His Signs: for Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom:		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
37 যারা আল্লাহর পথে গৃহ ত্যাগ করেছে, এরপর নিহত হয়েছে অথবা মরে গেছে; আল্লাহ তাদেরকে অবশ্যই উৎকৃষ্ট জীবিকা দান করবেন এবং আল্লাহ সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট রিযিক দাতা।
Those who leave their homes in the cause of Allah, and are then slain or die,- On them will Allah bestow verily a goodly Provision: Truly Allah is He Who bestows the best provision.		 (হাজ্জ্ব:
আয়াতঃ ৫৮)
38 এরপর আমি শুক্রবিন্দুকে জমাট রক্তরূপে সৃষ্টি করেছি, অতঃপর জমাট রক্তকে মাংসপিন্ডে পরিণত করেছি, এরপর সেই মাংসপিন্ড থেকে অস্থি সৃষ্টি করেছি, অতঃপর অস্থিকে মাংস দ্বারা আবৃত করেছি, অবশেষে তাকে নতুন রূপে দাঁড় করিয়েছি। নিপুণতম সৃষ্টিকর্তা আল্লাহ কত কল্যাণময়।
Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create!		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১৪)
39 এরপর তোমরা মৃত্যুবরণ করবে
After that, at length ye will die		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
40 অতঃপর আমি তার কাছে আদেশ প্রেরণ করলাম যে, তুমি আমার দৃষ্টির সামনে এবং আমার নির্দেশে নৌকা তৈরী কর। এরপর যখন আমার আদেশ আসে এবং চুল্লী প্লাবিত হয়, তখন নৌকায় তুলে নাও, প্রত্যেক জীবের এক এক জোড়া এবং তোমার পরিবারবর্গকে, তাদের মধ্যে যাদের বিপক্ষে পূর্বে সিদ্ধান্ত নেয়া হয়েছে তাদের ছাড়া। এবং তুমি জালেমদের সম্পর্কে আমাকে কিছু বলো না। নিশ্চয় তারা নিমজ্জত হবে।
So We inspired him (with this message): "Construct the Ark within Our sight and under Our guidance: then when comes Our Command, and the fountains of the earth gush forth, take thou on board pairs of every species, male and female, and thy family- except those of them against whom the Word has already gone forth: And address Me not in favour of the wrong-doers; for they shall be drowned (in the Flood).		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ২৭)
41 এরপর তাদের পরে আমি বহু সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করেছি।
Then We raised after them other generations.		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৪২)
42 এরপর আমি একাদিক্রমে আমার রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি। যখনই কোন উম্মতের কাছে তাঁর রসূল আগমন করেছেন, তখনই তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে। অতঃপর আমি তাদের একের পর এক ধ্বংস করেছি এবং তাদেরকে কাহিনীর বিষয়ে পরিণত করেছি। সুতরাং ধ্বংস হোক অবিশ্বাসীরা।
Then sent We our messengers in succession: every time there came to a people their messenger, they accused him of falsehood: so We made them follow each other (in punishment): We made them as a tale (that is told): So away with a people that will not believe!		 (আল মু'মিনূন:
আয়াতঃ ৪৪)
43 কিন্তু যারা এরপর তওবা করে এবং সংশোধিত হয়, আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম মেহেরবান।
Unless they repent thereafter and mend (their conduct); for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৫)
44 তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে, আল্লাহ তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দিয়েছেন যে, তাদেরকে অবশ্যই পৃথিবীতে শাসনকর্তৃত্ব দান করবেন। যেমন তিনি শাসনকতৃꦣ2468;্ব দান করেছেন তাদের পূর্ববতীদেরকে এবং তিনি অবশ্যই সুদৃঢ় করবেন তাদের ধর্মকে, যা তিনি তাদের জন্যে পছন্দ করেছেন এবং তাদের ভয়-ভীতির পরিবর্তে অবশ্যই তাদেরকে শান্তি দান করবেন। তারা আমার এবাদত করবে এবং আমার সাথে কাউকে শরীক করবে না। এরপর যারা অকৃতজ্ঞ হবে, তারাই অবাধ্য।
Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion - the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: 'They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. 'If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.		 (আন-নূর:
আয়াতঃ ৫৫)
45 তুমি কি তোমার পালনকর্তাকে দেখ না, তিনি কিভাবে ছায়াকে বিলম্বিত করেন? তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে একে স্থির রাখতে পারতেন। এরপর আমি সূর্যকে করেছি এর নির্দেশক।
Hast thou not turned thy vision to thy Lord?- How He doth prolong the shadow! If He willed, He could make it stationary! then do We make the sun its guide;		 (আল-ফুরকান:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
46 অতঃপর আমি ভীত হয়ে তোমাদের কাছ থেকে পলায়ন করলাম। এরপর আমার পালনকর্তা আমাকে প্রজ্ঞা দান করেছেন এবং আমাকে পয়গম্বর করেছেন।
"So I fled from you (all) when I feared you; but my Lord has (since) invested me with judgment (and wisdom) and appointed me as one of the messengers.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
47 এরপর অবশিষ্ট সবাইকে নিমজ্জত করলাম।
Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১২০)
48 এরপর আযাব তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করল। নিশ্চয় এতে নিদর্শন আছে। কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বিশ্বাসী নয়।
But the Penalty seized them. Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৫৮)
49 এরপর অন্যদেরকে নিপাত করলাম।
But the rest We destroyed utterly.		 (আশ-শো'আরা:
আয়াতঃ ১৭২)
50 তবে যে বাড়াবাড়ি করে এরপর মন্দ কর্মের পরিবর্তে সৎকর্ম করে। নিশ্চয় আমি ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
"But if any have done wrong and have thereafter substituted good to take the place of evil, truly, I am Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.		 (নমল:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
51 তিনি বললেন, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, আপনি আমার প্রতি যে অনুগ্রহ করেছেন, এরপর আমি কখনও অপরাধীদের সাহায্যকারী হব না।
He said: "O my Lord! For that Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace on me, never shall I be a help to those who sin!"		 (আল কাসাস:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
52 ইব্রাহীম বললেন, পার্থিব জীবনে তোমাদের পারস্পরিক ভালবাসা রক্ষার জন্যে তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে প্রতিমাগুলোকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করেছ। এরপর কেয়ামতের দিন তোমরা একে অপরকে অস্বীকার করবে এবং একে অপরকে লানত করবে। তোমাদের ঠিকানা জাহান্নাম এবং তোমাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।
And he said: "For you, ye have taken (for worship) idols besides Allah, out of mutual love and regard between yourselves in this life; but on the Day of Judgment ye shall disown each other and curse each other: and your abode will be the Fire, and ye shall have none to help."		 (আল আনকাবুত:
আয়াতঃ ২৫)
53 আল্লাহ প্রথমবার সৃষ্টি করেন, অতঃপর তিনি পুনরায় সৃষ্টি করবেন। এরপর তোমরা তাঁরই দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।
It is Allah Who begins (the process of) creation; then repeats it; then shall ye be brought back to Him.		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
54 আল্লাহই তোমাদের সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর রিযিক দিয়েছেন, এরপর তোমাদের মৃত্যু দেবেন, এরপর তোমাদের জীবিত করবেন। তোমাদের শরীকদের মধ্যে এমন কেউ আছে কি, যে এসব কাজের মধ্যে কোন একটিও করতে পারবে? তারা যাকে শরীক করে, আল্লাহ তা থেকে পবিত্র ও মহান।
It is Allah Who has created you: further, He has provided for your sustenance; then He will cause you to die; and again He will give you life. Are there any of your (false) "Partners" who can do any single one of these things? Glory to Him! and high is He above the partners they attribute (to him)!		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৪০)
55 তিনি আল্লাহ, যিনি বায়ু প্রেরণ করেন, অতঃপর তা মেঘমালাকে সঞ্চারিত করে। অতঃপর তিনি মেঘমালাকে যেভাবে ইচ্ছা আকাশে ছড়িয়ে দেন এবং তাকে স্তরে স্তরে রাখেন। এরপর তুমি দেখতে পাও তার মধ্য থেকে নির্গত হয় বৃষ্টিধারা। তিনি তাঁর বান্দাদের মধ্যে যাদেরকে ইচ্ছা পৌঁছান; তখন তারা আনন্দিত হয়।
It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!-		 (আর-রূম:
আয়াতঃ ৪৮)
56 আল্লাহ যিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভুমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছু ছয় দিনে সৃষ্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর তিনি আরশে বিরাজমান হয়েছেন। তিনি ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন অভিভাবক ও সুপারিশকারী নেই। এরপরও কি তোমরা বুঝবে না?
It is Allah Who has created the heavens and the earth, and all between them, in six Days, and is firmly established on the Throne (of Authority): ye have none, besides Him, to protect or intercede (for you): will ye not then receive admonition?		 (সেজদাহ:
আয়াতঃ ৪)
57 এরপর আপনার জন্যে কোন নারী হালাল নয় এবং তাদের পরিবর্তে অন্য স্ত্রী গ্রহণ করাও হালাল নয় যদিও তাদের রূপলাবণ্য আপনাকে মুগ্ধ করে, তবে দাসীর ব্যাপার ভিন্ন। আল্লাহ সর্ব বিষয়ের উপর সজাগ নজর রাখেন।
It is not lawful for thee (to marry more) women after this, nor to change them for (other) wives, even though their beauty attract thee, except any thy right hand should possess (as handmaidens): and Allah doth watch over all things.		 (আল আহযাব:
আয়াতঃ ৫২)
58 তাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও মিথ্যা আরোপ করেছে। আমি তাদেরকে যা দিয়েছিলাম, এরা তার এক দশমাংশও পায়নি। এরপরও তারা আমার রাসূলগনকে মিথ্যা বলেছে। অতএব কেমন হয়েছে আমার শাস্তি।
And their predecessors rejected (the Truth); these have not received a tenth of what We had granted to those: yet when they rejected My messengers, how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)!		 (সাবা:
আয়াতঃ ৪৫)
59 সে আমার ভাই, সে নিরানব্বই দুম্বার মালিক আর আমি মালিক একটি মাদী দুম্বার। এরপরও সে বলেঃ এটিও আমাকে দিয়ে দাও। সে কথাবার্তায় আমার উপর বল প্রয়োগ করে।
"This man is my brother: He has nine and ninety ewes, and I have (but) one: Yet he says, 'commit her to my care,' and is (moreover) harsh to me in speech."		 (ছোয়াদ:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
60 তুমি কি দেখনি যে, আল্লাহ আকাশ থেকে পানি বর্ষণ করেছেন, অতঃপর সে পানি যমীনের ঝর্ণাসমূহে প্রবাহিত করেছেন, এরপর তদ্দ্বারা বিভিন্ন রঙের ফসল উৎপন্ন করেন, অতঃপর তা শুকিয়ে যায়, ফলে তোমরা তা পীতবর্ণ দেখতে পাও। এরপর আল্লাহ তাকে খড়-কুটায় পরিণত করে দেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বুদ্ধিমানদের জন্যে উপদেশ রয়েছে।
Seest thou not that Allah sends down rain from the sky, and leads it through springs in the earth? Then He causes to grow, therewith, produce of various colours: then it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then He makes it dry up and crumble away. Truly, in this, is a Message of remembrance to men of understanding.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২১)
61 আল্লাহ উত্তম বাণী তথা কিতাব নাযিল করেছেন, যা সামঞ্জস্যপূর্ণ, পূনঃ পূনঃ পঠিত। এতে তাদের লোম কাঁটা দিয়ে উঠে চামড়ার উপর, যারা তাদের পালনকর্তাকে ভয় করে, এরপর তাদের চামড়া ও অন্তর আল্লাহর স্মরণে বিনম্র হয়। এটাই আল্লাহর পথ নির্দেশ, এর মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ যাকে ইচ্ছা পথ প্রদর্শন করেন। আর আল্লাহ যাকে গোমরাহ করেন, তার কোন পথপ্রদর্শক নেই।
Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ২৩)
62 মানুষকে যখন দুঃখ-কষ্ট স্পর্শ করে, তখন সে আমাকে ডাকতে শুরু করে, এরপর আমি যখন তাকে আমার পক্ষ থেকে নেয়ামত দান করি, তখন সে বলে, এটা তো আমি পূর্বের জানা মতেই প্রাপ্ত হয়েছি। অথচ এটা এক পরীক্ষা, কিন্তু তাদের অধিকাংশই বোঝে না।
Now, when trouble touches man, he cries to Us: But when We bestow a favour upon him as from Ourselves, he says, "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge (I have)!" Nay, but this is but a trial, but most of them understand not!		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৪৯)
63 তোমরা তোমাদের পালনকর্তার অভিমূখী হও এবং তাঁর আজ্ঞাবহ হও তোমাদের কাছে আযাব আসার পূর্বে। এরপর তোমরা সাহায্যপ্রাপ্ত হবে না;
"Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped.		 (আল-যুমার:
আয়াতঃ ৫৪)
64 এরপর আমি আপনাকে রেখেছি ধর্মের এক বিশেষ শরীয়তের উপর। অতএব, আপনি এর অনুসরণ করুন এবং অজ্ঞানদের খেয়াল-খুশীর অনুসরণ করবেন না।
Then We put thee on the (right) Way of Religion: so follow thou that (Way), and follow not the desires of those who know not.		 (আল জাসিয়া:
আয়াতঃ ১৮)
65 শুন, তোমরাই তো তারা, যাদেরকে আল্লাহর পথে ব্যয় করার আহবান জানানো হচ্ছে, অতঃপর তোমাদের কেউ কেউ কৃপণতা করছে। যারা কৃপণতা করছে, তারা নিজেদের প্রতিই কৃপণতা করছে। আল্লাহ অভাবমুক্ত এবং তোমরা অভাবগ্রস্থ। যদি তোমরা মুখ ফিরিয়ে নাও, তবে তিনি তোমাদের পরিবর্তে অন্য জাতিকে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করবেন, এরপর তারা তোমাদের মত হবে না।
Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah: But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye that are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!		 (মুহাম্মদ:
আয়াতঃ ৩৮)
66 কে সেই ব্যক্তি, যে আল্লাহকে উত্তম ধার দিবে, এরপর তিনি তার জন্যে তা বহুগুণে বৃদ্ধি করবেন এবং তার জন্যে রয়েছে সম্মানিত পুরস্কার।
Who is he that will Loan to Allah a beautiful loan? for (Allah) will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal Reward.		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ১১)
67 তোমরা জেনে রাখ, পার্থিব জীবন ক্রীড়া-কৌতুক, সাজ-সজ্জা, পারস্পরিক অহমিকা এবং ধন ও জনের প্রাচুর্য ব্যতীত আর কিছু নয়, যেমন এক বৃষ্টির অবস্থা, যার সবুজ ফসল কৃষকদেরকে চমৎকৃত করে, এরপর তা শুকিয়ে যায়, ফলে তুমি তাকে পীতবর্ণ দেখতে পাও, এরপর তা খড়কুটা হয়ে যায়। আর পরকালে আছে কঠিন শাস্তি এবং আল্লাহর ক্ষমা ও সন্তুষ্টি। পার্থিব জীবন প্রতারণার উপকরণ বৈ কিছু নয়।
Know ye (all), that the life of this world is but play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting and multiplying, (in rivalry) among yourselves, riches and children. Here is a similitude: How rain and the growth which it brings forth, delight (the hearts of) the tillers; soon it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. But in the Hereafter is a Penalty severe (for the devotees of wrong). And Forgiveness from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure (for the devotees of Allah). And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels of deception?		 (আল হাদীদ:
আয়াতঃ ২০)
68 যদি তারা বহিস্কৃত হয়, তবে মুনাফিকরা তাদের সাথে দেশত্যাগ করবে না আর যদি তারা আক্রান্ত হয়, তবে তারা তাদেরকে সাহায্য করবে না। যদি তাদেরকে সাহায্য করে, তবে অবশ্যই পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শন করে পলায়ন করবে। এরপর কাফেররা কোন সাহায্য পাবে না।
If they are expelled, never will they go out with them; and if they are attacked (in fight), they will never help them; and if they do help them, they will turn their backs; so they will receive no help.		 (আল হাশর:
আয়াতঃ ১২)
69 এরপরও সে আশা করে যে, আমি তাকে আরও বেশী দেই।
Yet is he greedy-that I should add (yet more);-		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ১৫)
70 এরপর বলেছেঃ এতো লোক পরস্পরায় প্রাপ্ত জাদু বৈ নয়,
Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old;		 (আল মুদ্দাসসির:
আয়াতঃ ২৪)
71 এরপর বিশদ বর্ণনা আমারই দায়িত্ব।
Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear):		 (আল ক্বেয়ামাহ:
আয়াতঃ ১৯)
72 এখন কোন কথায় তারা এরপর বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করবে?
Then what Message, after that, will they believe in?		 (আল মুরসালাত:
আয়াতঃ ৫০)
73 এরপর যখন ইচ্ছা করবেন তখন তাকে পুনরুজ্জীবিত করবেন।
Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again).		 (আবাসা:
আয়াতঃ ২২)
74 এরপর আমি ভূমিকে বিদীর্ণ করেছি,
And We split the earth in fragments,		 (আবাসা:
আয়াতঃ ২৬)
75 এরপর বলা হবে, একেই তো তোমরা মিথ্যারোপ করতে।
Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye rejected as false!		 (আত-তাতফীফ:
আয়াতঃ ১৭)
76 এরপর অবশ্যই সেদিন তোমরা নেয়ামত সম্পর্কে জিজ্ঞাসিত হবে।
Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!).		 (তাকাসূর:
আয়াতঃ ৮)
