| 1 | এরা দোদুল্যমান অবস্থায় ঝুলন্ত; এদিকেও নয় ওদিকেও নয়। বস্তুতঃ যাকে আল্লাহ গোমরাহ করে দেন, তুমি তাদের জন্য কোন পথই পাবে না কোথাও। (They are) distracted in mind even in the midst of it,- being (sincerely) for neither one group nor for another whom Allah leaves straying,- never wilt thou find for him the way. |

| 2 | আর সে যে মহিলার ঘরে ছিল, ঐ মহিলা তাকে ফুসলাতে লাগল এবং দরজাসমূহ বন্ধ করে দিল। সে মহিলা বললঃ শুন! তোমাকে বলছি, এদিকে আস, সে বললঃ আল্লাহ রক্ষা করুন; তোমার স্বামী আমার মালিক। তিনি আমাকে সযত্নে থাকতে দিয়েছেন। নিশ্চয় সীমা লংঘনকারীগণ সফল হয় না। But she in whose house he was, sought to seduce him from his (true) self: she fastened the doors, and said: "Now come, thou (dear one)!" He said: "Allah forbid! truly (thy husband) is my lord! he made my sojourn agreeable! truly to no good come those who do wrong!" |
