| 3 | আর আমার হুকুম যখন এল, আমি শোয়ায়েব (আঃ) ও তাঁর সঙ্গী ঈমানদারগণকে নিজ রহমতে রক্ষা করি আর পাপিষ্ঠদের উপর বিকট গর্জন পতিত হলো। ফলে ভোর না হতেই তারা নিজেদের ঘরে উপুড় হয়ে পড়ে রইল। When Our decree issued, We saved Shu'aib and those who believed with him, by (special) mercy from Ourselves: But the (mighty) blast did seize the wrong-doers, and they lay prostrate in their homes by the morning,- |

| 4 | কিন্তু তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলল; অতঃপর তারা ভূমিকম্প দ্বারা আক্রান্ত হল এবং নিজেদের গৃহে উপুড় হয়ে পড়ে রইল। But they rejected him: Then the mighty Blast seized them, and they lay prostrate in their homes by the morning. |

| 5 | যে ব্যক্তি উপুড় হয়ে মুখে ভর দিয়ে চলে, সে-ই কি সৎ পথে চলে, না সে ব্যক্তি যে সোজা হয়ে সরলপথে চলে? Is then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided,- or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way? |
